Recently, there has been growing a production and circulation of content in podcast format, along with an increasing use of this tool as a way of discovering new topics and conducting research for various purposes. One of the themes that has been gaining notoriety in this context is Twice Exceptionality. With that established, the main objective of this work was to analyze Brazilian podcasts that specifically address the topic of Twice Exceptionality, and, as a secondary objective, to investigate what content is covered in these podcasts and what purposes these materials serve when addressing the topic in question. This research has a documentary nature and was based on the collection and analysis of podcast episodes published between 2014 to 2024. The selection criteria included the presence of the terms “Dupla Excepcionalidade” (Twice Exceptionality) or “Dupla Condição” (Dual Condition) in the titles, the use of Brazilian Portuguese, and publication on the most widely used platforms in the country. The episodes were listened to and described, taking into account aspects such as the profile of the participants, the language used, and the target audience. The data indicate 17 productions found through the established criteria, and most episodes were produced by professionals in Psychology and Psychopedagogy, aimed at professionals in Education and Health as well as individuals with Twice Exceptionality Education. It was also found that there is a scarcity of specific content on the topic with the theme being explored in a superficial manner. The data collected highlighted the relevance of podcasts as an accessible and potentially effective tool for disseminating knowledge. Despite the limitations, it is inferred that there is a growing interest in the topic and, as a result, a possible trend toward the expansion of more in-depth content production on twice exceptionality.

Modelagem e previsão de índice S&P 500 utilizando redes neurais recorrentes
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-06-01) Brandão, Theodora Luísa; Moreira, Pedro Augusto Franco Pinheiro; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5964404207962453; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2843-775X
The present study aims to develop a predictive model for the S&P 500 index using Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) Recurrent Neural Networks, due to their ability to capture long-term temporal patterns in financial time series. The index comprises the 500 largest publicly traded companies in the United States and serves as a key indicator of the performance of the U.S. stock market and, by extension, the global economy. It is widely used as a benchmark by institutional investors, fund managers, and economic analysts around the world. The methodology adopted in this work involved the collection and preprocessing of historical S&P 500 data, time series decomposition, and the modeling and forecasting of the index. The results demonstrate that the LSTM model was able to capture the dynamics of the S&P 500 index with reasonable accuracy, effectively tracking its trends and variations in the test set. The graphical comparison between actual and predicted values revealed strong alignment during periods of stability and growth, although performance declined during times of heightened volatility. The time series decomposition reinforced the presence of a long-term upward trend, stable seasonality, and a significant influence of macroeconomic events, highlighting the complexity of the series and the importance of considering its structural components in predictive modeling.

From p to n type-semiconductor and metallic material: one-step route using femtosecond pulsed laser to produce Ag3VO4/AgVO3/Ag heterostructure
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2025-06) Cruvinel, Guilherme Henrique; Garcia, Rafael de Queiroz; Pinatti, Ivo Mateus; Ribeiro, Renan Augusto Pontes; De Boni, Leonardo; Longo, Elson; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2599129475801660; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7855736473997172; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8338530279475392; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3169714304604637; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2401618350456850; lattes.cnpq.br/9848311210578810
The advent of femtosecond pulsed lasers has revolutionized materials science by enabling intense, ultrashort light pulses, facilitating nonlinear optical phenomena and structural modifications in materials. Ag3VO4, with its narrow band-gap, faces challenges such as charge recombination, leading to the exploration of doped and composite materials to improve efficiency in its applications. This work introduces a femtosecond laser irradiation method to produce intrinsic p-type (Ag3VO4)/n type (AgVO3) semiconductor heterostructures, along with metallic silver (Ag0) with plasmon effect in one-step for the first time. The heterostructures were experimentally characterized (X-ray diffraction, Raman and Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopies, Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope and Transmission Electron Microscopy) and discussed through quantum-mechanical, which provide insights into their structural, electronic, and vibrational properties and morphological analysis. X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy indicated the presence of metallic Ag and β-AgVO3, with plasmon effects, along with Ag3VO4. A detailed theoretical analysis revealed structural distortions and atomic environment influencing atomic charges, with β-AgVO3 exhibiting more ionic Ag and V cations and significant O atom charge variations compared to Ag3VO4. Unexpected argentophilic and anion-anion interactions in β-AgVO3 were identified, which may help in the understanding of silver nanoparticle growth under electron irradiation. The described production procedure provides the obtention of a new heterostructure, which may have the potential to its applications be explored.
