A abordagem geossistêmcia na análise da paisagem na bacia hidrográfica do Rio Ipanema, região de Sorocaba-SP
Abstract
Environmental issues gain importance from the moment that man begins to understand the dynamics, structuring and modeling of the landscape. Therefore, the research aims to understand the dynamics of the landscape of the Ipanema River Basin from the Geosystemic approach. In this sense, we sought to identify the elements of the landscape and their relation and integration, being from the preparation of cartographic documents and field works, to be able to visualize them and to understand them spatially. Thus, it was possible to elaborate the mappings of Soil Use and Occupancy, the Morphostructural and Geosystematic Map. The land use and occupancy mapping, as well as the morphostructural, helped to classify the geosystems present in the area, thus presenting a differentiated organization and dissociated by the facies classes in question. The research was divided into three chapters. The first is based on a theoretical discussion about Geosystems and its application to environmental studies. deals with the Morphostructural Analysis of the Ipanema River basin, with the aim of identifying the lithologic structure, movements and modeling of the relief of the area in question. And third, it is based on the application of Geosystems in the environmental approach. The factors that led to the development of the research were the accelerated urban growth of the Sorocaba region, advancing on rural and natural areas, native vegetation being limited to small sectors, often reducing to the riparian forests.
