This final paper consists of the elaboration of a proposal for the construction of a musical instrument, whose basic structure is similar to the Hammond organ added to some proposals for technological innovation. The Hammond organ is an instrument created in the 1930s, of great importance for music and engineering as it brings the possibility of creating countless possibilities of sounds thanks to the combination of several electromechanical elements. The work is divided into a historical axis, with the objective of introducing the instrument and its inventor and contextualizing it in the world of music and an engineering axis, addressing the theory behind the generation of sound, the functioning of the different parts and the different tools for developing a prototype. The objective is achieved once the proposed project finds support in the knowledge acquired during the undergraduate course and presents a set of information sufficient for this final paper to be a basis for a subsequent implementation.
