Abstract

Social innovation, social impact investment an impact business are all concepts in constant transformation. The environment in which these concepts are inserted, the impact ecosystem, is dynamic and promotes different interrelations among the organizations that support the market development in a cooperative and interconnected manner. This paper presents G8s initiatives in this area, which play a crucial role in its development. Through documental research, those initiatives were identified, so as their recommendations and its way of operation in the impact ecosystem, sharing learned lessons and adapting initiatives to its local scenarios. G8’s initiatives have brought important developments in the global market of impact investment by promoting international efforts to solving social and environmental problems, in a coordinated and joint manner.
