Relação entre a autopercepção da habilidade de contração e a função da musculatura do assoalho pélvico de mulheres jovens
Resumen
The objective of this project is to correlate the self-perception of the pelvic floor muscle (PFM) ability of contraction with results of the physical exam evaluation of the PFM in young women. About 43 women, aged between 18 and 35 years, will participate. For the data collection, two semi-structured questionnaires will be elaborated and one evaluator will carry out a physical evaluation. The questionnaires will be used to evaluate the socio demographic characteristics, gynecological and sexual history and the self-perception about the ability contraction of the PFM. The physical evaluation will consist of bi digital vaginal palpation and PERFECT scheme for graduation of the PFM function, based on the Oxford Modified Scale. The results will be described in average and standard deviation, and the normality of the data will be performed by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. For parametric correlations, the Pearson test will be used. In case of non-parametric data, the Spearman correlation test will be performed. For both analyzes, the significance level of p will be set at <0.05. The magnitude of the correlations will be classified according to the value of r, where r<0.1=trivial; between 0.1-0.29=small; 0.30-0.49=moderate; 0.50-0.69=high; 0.70-0.90=very high and r>0.90=almost perfect.
