Resumo
The present work aimed to evaluate the preparation of solid samples via wet in an open system with the aid of mineral acids for the quantification of metals in soils using the inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) technique. In recent times, the disposal of solid waste, through industrial, agricultural, sewage irrigation, mining, etc., has been a serious problem for humanity due to soil contamination with contaminating elements, mercury, sulfur, silicon, cadmium, arsenic, rare among others. Causing damage not only to the environment, but also to human beings through the contamination of these metals. Thus, the preparation of samples of these soils is very important for the quantification of these metals present in the soils.
