(R)existências afirmadas em terapia ocupacional: vestígios e fabulações
Abstract
This thesis considers the implication of the field of occupational therapy in the production of subjectivities and ways of life, hegemonically managed by structural axes of control and domination. Specifically, the effects of these axes on the daily lives of different people, groups and populations are highlighted, as well as the resistance involving normative, oppressive and colonizing processes experienced in the relationships between power over life and potentialities of life. It is an investigation based on experience, which considers the immanence of the relationship between thought and life in the processes of knowledge production, in the sense of experimentation and making-think. In a cartographic approach, we sought to recognize experiences of occupational therapists, having as a central analytical line the resistances accompanied and experienced in professional practice, which intertwine micro and macro political dimensions considering the structures and dynamics of organization and exploration of life, its relationships, everyday productions and impacts. The accompaniment of processes that made up the common plan of the research took place from three relational territories that were intertwined: a) meetings and experiences with the research group Human Activities and Occupational Therapy; b) participation of occupational therapists who collaborated in the study, with shared narratives in forms, free expressions and letters; c) movements of a crowd cartographer body – alive, open, in experience. In walks, overflights and dives, it was possible to produce traces of resistance with occupational therapy, in a mycelial attitude of propagation, activation and connection, which carried out unique ways of producing materialities and operating analyzes in the cartographic process. Such vestiges point to combative, affirmative and collective ways of resisting, and foment the fabled acts of a researcher who walked with ducks. The presented fables summon occupational therapists to a multidimensional, situated and inventive positioning, committed to the defense of life and the affirmation of plural singularities, in the performance of sensitive-critical practices sustained in the singular-common-shared experience and its multiple meanings.
