Abstract
This work investigates the importance of biomass in Brazil's circular economy, addressing the context of the circular economy in some regions of the world and the relationship with biomass. The study also analyzes public policies related to biomass, including the National Solid Waste Policy, highlighting how these policies promote sustainable practices and the transition to a more efficient circular economy. The discussion revolves around the Brazilian scenario, analyzing its characteristics.
