Abstract
The aim of the work was to analyze the effectiveness of the Family Farming Food Acquisition Program for family farming in the municipality chosen for study, Angatuba/SP. The main aim was to understand the effects of the implementation of public policy for farmers during the period from 2011 to 2017, the period in which it was active in the municipality, and finally to understand the effects of the suspension of new institutional purchasing projects via PAA for families of previously benefited producers.
