Experiências de um indígena estudante no curso de medicina: das barreiras e adaptações na pandemia de Covid-19 às repercussões no pós pandemia

Abstract

This final course project is an evaluative tool for the Medicine course, with a summative character for the training process. In this sense, it was elaborated following the guidelines of the Pedagogical Project of the Medicine Course at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), consisting of an autobiographical narrative about my experience as an indigenous student in the UFSCar medical course. It integrates accounts of my experiences throughout the 6 years of the course, relating experiences from the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic with the course's suspension and extended social distancing, to the return of in-person activities and the completion of the course. This work represents a synthesis of my development during the undergraduate period. Therefore, it is divided into 3 main stages: The beginning of the medical course, the Covid-19 pandemic and its processes; Clinical cycle, the return of in-person activities; And the internship cycle. Thus, I begin with a brief account describing the choice of the course: Why Medicine at UFSCar? And I conclude with the characterizations and descriptions of all the scientific production developed throughout the 6 years of the course.
