Estudando sobre nutrientes no ensino fundamental com um reconto da história de João e Maria

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo relatar a experiência de uma sequência didática baseada em um reconto do clássico infantil João e Maria, discutindo sua contribuição para processo de alfabetização científica de crianças do 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental. A sequência didática foi implementada em sete etapas, sendo que, na última, foi solicitada às crianças a elaboração de um final para o reconto. Para avaliar a presença de indicadores de alfabetização científica, foram consideradas as produções finais de dois grupos e as gravações de áudio e vídeo da aula. Os indicadores identificados foram articular ideias, investigar e ler em ciências. Evidencia-se as contribuições da articulação entre literatura e ciências para contextualização de conhecimentos de ciências nos anos iniciais e formação das crianças.

This work aims to report the experience of a didactic sequence based on a retelling of the children’s classic Hansel and Gretel, discussing its contribution to the scientific literacy process of children in the 5th year of elementary school. The didactic sequence was implemented in seven stages; in the last stage, the children were asked to write an ending for the retelling. To assess indicators of scientific literacy, we analyzed the final productions from two groups, along with the audio and video recordings of the class. The indicators identified included articulating ideas, investigating and reading in science. The contributions of the articulation between literature and science to contextualizing scientific knowledge in the early years and children’s education are highlighted.
