Análise de mudança organizacional no atendimento odontológico pós-pandemia

Abstract

Faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, dental practices faced significant challenges, from operational restructuring to the impact on professionals’ mental health, requiring urgent adaptations to ensure continuity of services. This study aims to analyze, from the perspective of the Theory of Organizational Change, the transformations implemented in a post-pandemic dental clinic, focusing on financial aspects, workload and strategies to optimize organizational efficiency and ensure the safety of professionals and patients. The results indicate a positive assessment of the organizational change in the post-pandemic work model by the majority of dentists, highlighting the effectiveness of the safety measures implemented, financial strategies and engagement strategies adopted to face challenges during this period. Although benefits have emerged, such as patient loyalty, financial challenges and the need for greater care for well-being reveal the complexity of this new scenario, suggesting promising areas for future investigations.
