listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Análise de procedimentos para avaliação de interesses baseado em um currículo funcional natural e seus efeitos no funcionamento geral de indivíduos com deficiência mental e autismo.(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2003-08-29) Cuccovia, Margherita Midea; Almeida, Maria Amélia; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3162000195087084Evaluation or teaching programs that emphasize the student s difficulties indicate to the educators which developmental areas are presenting deficits and where to invest for the recovering of these students. The current Educational Policies and the new conception of mental deficiency state guidelines about the inclusion of the handicapped individuals in common spaces and call for the reflection of the use of educative practices with the vision centered in the person as a subject that has desires. This demands from the educators the exercise of looking at student s abilities, and educating him/her in real environments in order to allow them to live in real environments. In this study, it was investigated the effects of the Natural Functional Curriculum application in: (a) student s interests in the acquisition of the proposed abilities; (b) the change of the interests and abilities repertoire; (c) individual s general functioning; (e) student s generalization at home; and (f) the learning maintenance. The Study started from an evaluation centered in the person. Participated in the study two adult persons with Autism and Invasive Developmental Disturbance associated to a Severe Mental Deficiency. The study was realized in the Brazil Ann Sullivan Center R.P . Initially the level of student s interest and abilities were evaluated. Their performance was evaluated by an operant baseline (Lbo) and supported baseline (Lba) in daily living activities, home living and functional academics. Based on this evaluation, an individualized Natural Functional Curriculum was organized and trained in group and in natural environments. The data was collected in a period that varied from 33 to 44 weeks. The students were re evaluated daily for each task and as a whole after four months. A method to evaluate and quantify student s level of performance and interest was developed through the support needed in real circumstances. The results show that in both students the interests are associated with the performance in most of the activities and that in the final general functioning they needed much less support in relation to their initial performance. It was observed that both participants had their interest and ability repertoire in the proposed tasks, estimated by Lbo and Lba, increased significantly, and it was generalized in the student's home and maintained upon follow-up. It was concluded that: (a) The proposed method allows to evaluate and to quantify the interests and abilities of severe mentally retarded individuals with communications deficits and autism; (b) The Functional Natural Curriculum, associated with the evaluation method developed in this study, is an educational alternative to teach useful concepts and abilities, if situations such as age, desires, student s capabilities to inform and to make choices are respected; (c) The operant baseline emphasizes normality and dependency in a way that minimizes the student potential; (d) The supported baseline, transform the handicapped in a unique Person and that they are different from others.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Indicadores de sustentabilidade na área de emprego: uma caracterização para o monitoramento de políticas públicas locais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2003-08-29) Barboza, Ricardo Augusto Bonotto; Fernandes, Ana Cristina de Almeida; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3262670232283121This research was prepared with the propose of showing the reflections about the which ones ruled this research. It seeks to supply a conceptual frame that expresses the matters that permeated that processors investigation that embodies the research, the training and the intervention in a Project of Public Politics. In specifically of this work that it objectifies mantaining principles and indicators incorporation in Jaboticabal's Municipal district; they place at issue the relative themes to the maintaing's notion with a referencial for the construction of applicable indicators to the public administration. Under tha tfocus of considerations was organized this mastering dissertation work. The developed thematic run or flow over about the conceptual matters that they involve a referencial sustainable in the job area, the potential of utilization of the indicators and indices and the perspectives of the endogenous development in Brazil contemporary.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Estudos de diversidade genética em estoques reprodutores de camarões Litopenaeus vannamei cultivados no Brasil(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2003-08-29) Freitas, Patrícia Domingues de; Galetti Júnior, Pedro Manoel; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7398754661670478The identification of genetic marks can provide information about the distribution of genetic variability in relation to populational size and parental generation, besides the discrimination of lines and/or individuals. Researches carried out in different shrimp species reared at captivity have demonstrated that a regular monitoring of the genetic variability levels of stocks, through identification of molecular markers, is essential to an adequate management orientation. In the present work, RAPD markers were used to evaluate the genetic diversity and to determine the divergence and identity relationships among different broodstocks of the marine shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei reared at Brazil. The DNA extraction was performed according to Sambrook et al. (1989) and PCR reactions were accomplished by using the kit Ready-To-Go RAPD Analysis Beads (Amersham Pharmacia Biotech). The percentage of polymorphic loci, allele frequencies, diversity indexes, and Nei´s genetic distance and identity were determined; and dendrograms of genetic similarity were built, by using the software POPGENE, version 1.31 (Yeh et al., 1999). The Jaccard´s genetic similarity coefficient, which ignores the absence of band as an indicator of similarity, was calculated by using the software NTSYS, version 2.0 (Rohlf, 1993). A total of 332 individuals from 19 broodstocks were analyzed, five of them belonging to a same inbred line. Sixty-four fragments were identified when a set of six primers was adopted to perform RAPD-PCR. The genetic diversity and similarity indexes demonstrated a reduced variability in stocks at initial domestication process. The analysis of genetic distance and identity evidenced that the reared stocks are closely related, lacking significant divergences. The values obtained in the inbreeding line revealed a progressive decreasing of genetic variation throughout the generations. The dendrogram demonstrated that as long as the generation increases, the genetic structure changes and becomes more and more distant from that observed in the first populations. According to analysis by non-linear regression, if this tendency is maintained, the levels of genetic variation can get close to zero before the stock reaches the 19th generation. The molecular data obtained in the present work reinforce the suggestion that the management nowadays carried out by Brazilian larviculture laboratories to compose and maintain broodstocks of L. vannamei, leads to a reduction of the levels of genetic diversity of captive populations. The development of genetically divergent lines and crossbreeding programs might contribute to the establishment of more adequate strategies.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Caracterização genética do pirarucu Arapaima gigas (Cuvier) (Teleostei, Osteoglossidae) da bacia Tocantins-Araguaia, estado do Mato Grosso(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2003-08-29) Marques, Débora Karla Silvestre; Galetti Júnior, Pedro Manoel; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7398754661670478In South America the osteoglossiforms are represented by the Arapaima and the Osteoglossum sorts, which are mostly found in the Amazonic basin, Tocantins Araguaia. There are virtually no genetic studies on this group, which highlights conservation groups need for information. The Arapaima gigas species, of the hydrographic basin Tocantins Araguaia, showed a 2n=56 chromosomes, with cariotypical formula: 28M/SM+28ST/A. Silver nitrate marking revealed a simple RON, located intersticially in the shorter arm of pair three, confirmed by a fluorescent hybration in situ, with a rDNA 18S probe, that highlighted a polymorphism in the RON sites. The constituent heterocromatin was found in the centromerical region of all chromosomes. The molecular genetic studies with RAPD marker showed the presence of only one Arapaima gigas population, with a significant intrapopulational variation. The results obtained in this work are an important contribution to the understanding of the genetics of the Arapaima gigas species and the Osteoglossiforms group, providing, moreover, subsidies for genetic handling and conservation of the Arapaima gigas species in the Médio Araguaia, state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.
