Considered very important to the project development, modeling will be broached in this article due to the great volume of existing data in transport systems and the need to manipulate them in a safe, reliable and fast way. In order to do it, a model for georeferenced database in being purposed, according to OMT-G graphical note model form BORGES (1997), to subsidize the management of the urban public transport. The method adopted for the modeling development was CÂMARA's (1999) abstraction levels. The application of the conceptual model developed will be carried out on a sample project considering the data referred to the public transport system raised at EMDURB Empresa Municipal de Desenvolvimento Urbano e Rural de Bauru, using a GIS SPRING tool and an Access database. Considering the difficulties the public administration finds in raising resources and the easiness to obtain these tools, considered one of public domain and another of low costs, the interested administration , specially in the medium and small cities, in introduce this model won't need great investments for the project development and the consequent procurement of georeferrenced information regarding the public transport.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Metodologia para seleção de ferramentas computacionais para o ensino de engenharia de tráfego(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2006-10-30) Martinez, Heloni Maura Martorano; Raia Junior, Archimedes Azevedo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6413793013018019; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6540500838973057Computational tools - softwares become more and more useful in the scope of Engineering. Several authors have already confirmed its benefits for the engineering's students education. In the last years, the availability of specific softwares for Traffic Engineering have increased. Nowadays, the selection process to identify the more adjusted computational tool to each task is one of the major difficulties in its use. This paper presents a methodology for selecting computational tools - softwares to be used in teaching disciplines of Traffic Engineering. This methodology, named MESET - METHODOLOGY FOR SELECTING COMPUTATIONAL TOOLS FOR TEACHING TRAFFIC ENGINEERING, was based on United States Department of Transports method, (2004). Its original evaluation criteria and specific tasks were adapted for teaching use inside the Traffic Engineering s parameters from Brazilian reality. The component criteria and item were identified through research carried with Traffic Engineer s Brazilian universities teachers. After defining the adequate procedures and routines MESET was also demonstrated through the software Synchro/SimTraffic, demo version. Through the criteria adopted, MESET s application final results have indicated that the software Synchro is adjusted to teach the analysed item - the modeling of intersections traffic lights.
