So, it is briefly shown that the theory applied to the development of calculations and verifications in the ultimate and service states, considering the bending behavior of the panels, the shear and the excessive deformation, and prestress losses that are of great importance for the final results. Therefore, it creates a scheme to solve two numerical examples which come from a cross-section preestablished on the basis of tables published that are related to overload and long spans which the slab can achieve. Then compare the results obtained in the examples with the values that the tables showed and then do relevant comments. Finally, the conclusions are provided and comments for improvements in the sector of design and production of hollow core slabs, followed by suggestions for future work.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Síntese coloidal de nanocristais magnéticos com superfície macromolecular(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-08-17) Gonçalves, Ricardo Henrique; Leite, Edson Roberto; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1025598529469393; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2385127856921005This dissertation describes the development of a synthetic route to obtain colloidal magnetic nanocrystals in solvent of high molar weight and different polarities. Magnetite Nanocrystals ware synthesized by thermal decomposition method using organometallic. With this method was possible to control the size of nanoparticle, obtain high crystallinity and control solubility in several organic solvents. The results showed that the nanocrystals solubility synthesized by this method is governed by polarity of macromolecular solvents. Hydrophobic macromolecule became hydrophobic magnetic nanocrystals. On the other hand, hydrophilic macromolecule result hydrophilic magnetic nanocrystals, like this amphiphilic macromolecule solvent transfer these properties to nanocrystals, turning them into amphiphilic. This solubility behavior was clarified by infrared spectroscopy analysis, indicating the existence of anchored macromolecules on the nanocrystals surface. Besides the crystallographic phase obtained, was also possible obtain superparamagnetic material and high saturation magnetization, revealing so that these colloidal magnetic nanocrystals have potential for biological application.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Modelo para a gestão ambiental da cadeia de suprimentos: análise das empresas de linha branca(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-08-17) Brassolatti, Tatiane Fernandes Zambrano; Martins, Manoel Fernando; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3921504261628850; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0466901836814460The objective of this thesis is to propose a model for the environmental supply chain management of the appliance industry. This model was proposed from the analysis of the literature on the main models for the GCS and for the GACS and through a research in five appliance industries and in four first level suppliers of these industries. It was used the case study as the research methodology. The literature review about GACS showed that existing models that prioritize some aspects to the detriment of others, does not refer to GACS as a whole, focusing only on isolated concepts. Moreover, the research showed that the practice of the appliance industries do not follow a model for the GACS. Thus, it s necessary to propose a model for the environmental supply chain management of the appliance industry. The model implementation may be a way to integrate the key links in the supply chain of the appliance industry. This integration occurs through the establishment of a coordinator agent that leads to the environmental management. Other important components of the model are: the method of coordination in the chain, the definition of common environmental policy and goals for all organizations in the chain, the lifting of legal and consumer requirements, the recommendations for each process of the companies and the preparation of plans improvement. The research also sought to obtain a practical evaluation of the proposed model by this thesis in the studied companies. Overall, the model for the GACS was well evaluated and all respondents consider this important issue, although no actions have been reported to promote the GACS.
