Programa de capacitação de docentes para promover independência de crianças com baixa visão nas atividades de vida diária: PRÓ-AVD

It is estimated that in Brazil one of 500 children have low vision. In this population, among all difficult possible, have the dependency in daily life activities (ADL), that influence at social integration, learning and school inclusion. Detached for the regular teacher s work inside the class with ADL´s children especially in preschool. The propose of this work was to develop, implement and evaluate one individual program of collaborative assessoring in Occupational Therapist for teacher training, to increase their repertoire of strategies and resources to promote the independence of preschool children with low vision in activities of daily hygiene and nutrition, called PRÓ-AVD . Study participants were 10 teachers and 10 students with low vision aged between 4 and 6 years of regular education children. The experimental design of the study consisting of 5 teachers and 5 students belonging to the Experimental Group who received the intervention in a first moment, and 5 teachers and 5 students to the control group that received no intervention. The elaborate of the training program involved the study of children's abilities in the tasks of self, and his visual capacity, the original repertoire of the teacher, and the dynamics of dyad Teacher - Student in carrying out AVDs. The implementation happened through collaborative assessoring, on 6 weekly meetings, consecutive, consisting of interactive dynamic between the researcher and teacher. Measures were taken pre-test and post-test and a field diary, analysis of film and questionnaires to assess qualitatively and quantitatively the effect of the intervention program in increasing the repertoire of teachers to promote the independence of their students in AVDs. The program showed efficient when applied, the results were increasing her preparation and teacher repertory to work with hygienic and alimentation activities of the student with low vision. It is believed that the use of methods and teaching approaches, practice activities, feedback and support of researcher presence than weekly meetings were crucial to the membership and participation of teachers, as well as to obtain the results.

The following work has as main purpose discuss the present public politics of urban environmental management by analyzing municipal models, practices and experiences, in search of an absolute management. Inside the thematic of environmental and urban institutional politics, dialoging with normative aspects, of planning and institutional management, this research seeks the understanding and the analysis of the urbanenvironmental management from the city councils of Araraquara and Santo André. The selection of these city counties parted from the observation that they are in a favorite position in comparison with other ones due to the operational, administrational and cultural circumstances respecting to the new demands from the National System of Environment. In parallel, this research will board the difficulties of these both city counties to attend the new establishes that are being placed to them since the redemocratization of the 80´s, with regard to the municipal urban-environmental management, as well as to the questions associated with the interface between the urban politics and the environmental politics.

The main purpose of this essay is to investigate the major factors that had influenced the creation of Secretaria de Educação Continuada, Alfabetização e da Diversidade (SECAD), one of the units of Ministério da Educação with special emphasis in the ideas. Regarding John Kingdom s theoretical framework we shall seek to identify how the ideas about inequality and diversity shared by the group that created the institution had contributed for the agenda setting of Lula s government.
Dispersão seletiva de argila montmorilonita em blendas poliméricas de PA6/ABS

For some applications toughening of polyamide is important. This can be accomplished through the addition of an elastomeric phase to the polyamide matrix with the drawback of a reduction in the stiffness and strength of the material. Several studies lately have focused on the modification of polyamide matrix with the purpose of obtaining a balance between toughness and stiffness for these thermoplastics. In this work, to achieve a balance between stiffness and toughness, ternary nanocomposites based on blends of polyamide 6 (PA6) and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) were prepared by the melt blending processes using the organoclay Cloisite® 30B (OMMT) and the styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer (SMA) as compatibilizer. Four blending sequences were used to prepare the selected systems and their mechanical properties studied through the Young s modulus and notched Izod impact properties. The addition of organoclay increases the Young s modulus of all ternary nanocomposites when compared to the blend and the PA6 matrix. This fact was attributed to preferential location of the clay in the PA6 matrix phase. The micrographs obtained by transmission electronic microscopy (TEM) indicate that the nanoclay shows an exfoliated structure and reside in the PA6 matrix phase, as well as in the interface between the phases. PA6/ABS/OMMT ternary nanocomposites with different content of nanoclay (1, 3 and 5%) were studied and it was observed that the particles size of ABS dispersed phase decrease with the increase of the OMMT content in the blend. This fact indicates that nanoclay can play an important role to prevent the coalescence in the ABS domains during the melt state processes. PA6/ABS ternary blends compatibilized with SMA were prepared by melt state process and it was observed that the mechanical properties and the morphology were influenced by the blending sequence of the components.
