Item type:Item, Estudo eco-hidrológico da bacia hidrográfica Mariana, afluente do Rio Taxidermista, Alta Floresta - MT(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-05) ;Umetsu, Ricardo Keichi ;Matos, Dalva Maria da Silva ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/4728734263109138https://lattes.cnpq.br/2602242541769497This study aimed to describe the hydro-ecological aspects of Mariana Hydrographic Basin, tributary of the river Taxidermista, Alta Floresta, MT, Brazil. Therefore, studies were performed on the morphometry of the basin; land use; floristic, vegetation structure and correlation with the distribution of tree species and soils of the riparian forest; dynamics of runoff; water physical-chemical aspects; and socio-economy aspects. These results indicate the strong structural drainage control of basin, however the current land use, dominated by cattle farm and deforestation, contribute to erosion. Furthermore, the riparian vegetation is in secondary successional stage probably due to preterit human disturbance. Soil and tree species correlation showed soil texture as attribute greater importance in the distribution of plant groups. The dynamics of runoff showed a low capacity of water storage basin. The water physical-chemical aspects results were directly related to the land use, and the parameters Color, Turbidity and Total Phosphorus presented themselves as the most suitable for monitoring water quality and environmental degradation. The basin is occupied by colonos from the process of private colonization occurred in the mid 1970 s and is predominated by small farms, many over-used, the average monthly income is directly related to its size. The failure of agriculture established at the time of colonization conditioned the uncontrolled deforestation for pasture and, since then, extensive cattle farming is predominant. Thus, the current land use, and the settlement historical processes of the region caused important environmental changes that are directly related to basin s sustainability, especially those related to water shortage. Therefore, it is necessary to implement recuperation and restructuring degraded areas program and the strengthening of family agriculture, aiming to economic and environmental sustainability.Item type:Item, Italianos em formação. (São Carlos, 1882-1914)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-09) ;Mazutti, Silvia Maria ;Truzzi, Oswaldo Mário Serra ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/5005536921435787https://lattes.cnpq.br/9891202671157305This work aimed to study the way the Italians interacted among themselves and between the various ethnic groups that inhabited the city of São Carlos between the ages 1882 to 1914. For this, criminal proceedings were used and those involving immigrants from regions: southern, central and northern Italy in conflict situations. Through analysis of criminal cases is noted as was the daily life of these immigrants, the interaction between them and the relations of conflict between the various ethnic groups also lived in the municipality of Sao Carlos. This study aimed to examine how the relations were between this Italians one another and how their differences were dissipated over the years, thus forming an identity: the Italian identity. And how this Italians integrated into the society of Sao Carlos over the years.Item type:Item, Processamento e caracterização de mantas de nanofibras eletrofiadas e orientadas de Poli(fluoreto de vinilideno)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-10) ;Costa, Ligia Maria Manzine ;Gregório Filho, Rinaldo ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/5968244801228229https://lattes.cnpq.br/1886281098171035In this work was developed a collector to process aligned uniaxially nanofibers mats and with low dimensions suitable for applications such as sensor or transducer. Such nanofibers mats may have applications where control of the orientation of these fibers is important, as membrane filtration, sensors, electrolytes for batteries, electronic or photonic devices, etc. Initially it was determined the minimum concentration of the solution of PVDF/DMF and a mixture of DMF/acetone that limits the processes of electrospray and electrospinning. It was found that in both cases phase formation can not be attributed to the stretch suffered by the polymer during electrospinning. With the introduction of a circular collector of up to 5000 rpm was possible process aligned uniaxially PVDF-nanofibers mats. We changed the processing conditions resulting in randomly oriented fibers, homogeneous and without defects and collector speed resulting in aligned nanofibers mats as molecular alignment of polymer. FTIR, DSC and SEM were used to determine the crystalline phase, molecular orientation, percent crystallinity and morphology of the fibers. The hysteresis curve of aligned nanofibers mats was determined with remanent polarization and coercive field . It was found that the coercive field of nanofibers mats is much smaller than PVDF-samples obtained of stretch PVDF-samples . The dielectric properties (permittivity and loss rate) of nanofibers mats were also obtained and compared with those for PVDFfilms produced with other techniques.Item type:Item, Poder local e Organizações Não-Governamentais (ONGS) no Nordeste brasileiro : o caso de Lagoa Seca, PB (1994 a 2006)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-11) ;Campos, Nivalda Aparecida ;Villa, Marco Antoniohttps://lattes.cnpq.br/9571225340239118This research focuses on the way local institutional political power relates to new institutional actors, especially non governmental organizations (NGOs), in a northeastern town in the state of Paraiba, between 1994 and 2006. We analyzed the relationship between the social actors, who represent a new model of state administration also known as non-state public sector on one side, and political leaderships on the other side, in a given region in the country, many times far from large decision-making centers not only in geographical aspects but also in terms of relevant social-indicators, and that allows us to realize the socioeconomic aspects of the composition and organization of the social space. The evidence of conflict between NGOs and local political power attracted attention and led to this research which takes into consideration that one of the questions that permeates the performance of both parties, though in a distinguished manner, is the approach to droughts, an issue historically addressed by the State.Item type:Item, Estudos da ontogenia e da alimentação inicial de larvas de peixes, com ênfase em dourado Salminus brasiliensis (Characiformes, Characidae)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-12) ;Mai, Mônica Giacometti ;Verani, José Roberto ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0053232138684810https://lattes.cnpq.br/0652902246835071Samples were carried out on embryos and larvae of dourado Salminus brasiliensis from 6 hours after fertilization (haf) until the 17th day after fertilization (daf) in order to study the development of sensory system, by scanning electron microscopy, and on the structural and functional development of digestive tract by histological and histochemical analysis. From the sensory system were studied: the development of the eyes, the olfactory organ, the cephalic mechanoreceptors and the lateral line mechanoreceptors and chemoreceptors (taste buds). It was observed that the eyes and the nostrils develop very early (from 18 haf), followed by the cephalic mechanoreceptors and by the mechanoreceptors of the principal and secondary lateral line (48 haf). These types of senses are probably the most used for feeding during this initial phase. The taste buds showed a later development compared to the other sensorial structures cited, and were first observed sparsely distributed along the bucopharynx at 8 daf. The morphological development of the digestive system was described based on histological slides and its functionality was analyzed by histochemical staining. At 18 haf, the gut was observed dorsally to the yolk-sac. At this phase were also observed a group of cells that would form the liver and the pancreas. At 24 haf were verified the formation of oesophagus and the future orobranchial, which were characterized as mouth and pharynx at 48 haf. The oesophagus and the oesophagic sphincter were also defined and the gut remains as a straight tube at 48 haf. The rectum, ileo-rectal valve and anus were already present, as well as the liver and pancreas were differentiated, characterized by the hepatic cells and pancreatic acini, respectively. Teeth were observed at 72 haf, and folds were seen in the rectum epithelium. Between 96 and 120 haf the liver and pancreas showed complete development. In the same time, folds appeared and increased in number on the mucosal wall of the entire intestine. From the 8º daf, the digestive system was completely developed, possibly able to absorb the nutrients of a formulated diet. Experiments were also conducted in order to evaluate different feeds for weaning the dourado larvae from live feed onto inert diet, aiming at to reduce the costs during the larviculture. The treatment using piau Leporinus obtusidens as prey promoted the higher survival rates compared to the others. Bovine s heart and frozen artemia biomass induced to the worst performances in both co-feeding regime and in abrupt regime. Artemia used as live feed in both XIII regimes, and even inert diet offered directly, produced very low survival results along 17 days of trial, but at in a short term, could allow some growth. Therefore, an ideal diet was not identified to dourado, specially concerning to inert diet amount offered that avoid high concentrations of ammonium as the same time that reaches the nutritional requirements, being also attracting to these fish during the larviculture phase. A last experiment of this thesis is related to techniques for radioactive labeling of food with C14, used for monitoring the effects of early introduction of inert diet in lipid digestibility and metabolism of sole Solea senegalensis. Larval feed intake, growth and survival were also monitored in larva reared on a standard live feed regime (ST) and co-feeding regime with inert diet (Art R). Trials using sole larvae fed with Artemia enriched with two different lipid emulsions, containing glycerol tri [1-14C] oleate (TAG) and L-3-phosphatidylcholine-1,2-di-[1-14C] oleoyl (PL), were performed at 9 and 17 days after hatching (DAH) to study lipid utilization. Co-feeding did not affect sole survival rates (ST 59.1±15.9%; Art R 69.56±9.3%), but was reflected in significantly smaller final weight at 16 DAH (ST 0.71±0.20; Art R 0.48± 0.14 mg). Higher feed intake was observed in sole larvae fed on Artemia enriched with labeled PL at 9 DAH but not at 17 DAH. At 17 DAH, the smaller larvae (Art R treatment) ingested proportionally more Artemia in weight percentage, independently of enrichment. At 9 DAH lipid digestibility was equal among treatments and higher than 90%, while at 17 DAH it was higher in ST treatment (around 73%) compared to the Art R group (around 66%). Lipid retention efficiency at 9 DAH was higher in the Art R treatment, reaching values of 50%, while these values almost duplicated at 17 DAH, ranging up to 80% in both treatments without significant differences. These results show that co-feeding of live feed and inert diet from first-feeding in Senegalese sole has a toll in terms of growth and lipid digestibility but does not seem to compromise lipid metabolic utilization.Item type:Item, Peixes de costão rochoso: Reserva Biológica Marinha do Arvoredo (Brasil) e arquipélago dos Açores (Portugal)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-12) ;Andrade, Áthila Bertoncini ;Verani, José Roberto ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0053232138684810https://lattes.cnpq.br/0192715307458262The success of a Marine Protected Area relies strongly on how well they meet their management goals. The Arvoredo Marine Biological Reserve (AMBR) lies in the southernmost limit of reef fishes occurrence in the Southwestern Atlantic. An updated checklist of shallow coastal fish species of the AMBR archipelago, with 15 new records is presented with comments on rare and threatened species. A total of 203 species belonging to 133 genera and 68 families and 17 orders was observed during the four-year monitoring the rocky reef fish in areas inside and outside the AMBR, through underwater visual censuses. The richest families were Carangidae, Serranidae, Labridae, Scaridae and Gobiidae. All comparisons significantly favoured communities inside the AMBR, except for diversity that was not significantly different. Haemulon aurolineatum was the most abundant species in all six sites, being Stegastes fuscus the most frequent. Invertebrate feeders dominated the areas, followed by omnivores in relative abundance. The analysis of how selected target species benefit from the protection effect did not show a clear pattern of significant increases in abundances along the sampled years. The same methodology was applied to investigate the community structure of shallow rocky reef fish fauna of the Azores Archipelago. A total of 52 fish species from 26 different families was observed. Trophic categories are given for observed species with comments on distribution and densities along sampled depth strata. Sparidae, Labridae and Carangidae were the most speciose families, being Diplodus sargus, Pagellus acarne and Coris julis, the most abundant species that consequently also accounted to the highest densities. Mean densities along sampled strata were tested for significant differences. Cleaning interactions among the rainbow wrasse Coris julis and the azorean blue wrasse Centrolabrus caeruleus are presented, as well as, comments on the exotic species Diplodus vulgaris, observed foraging among schools of small sized Labrids. In the case of AMBR, while surveillance of poaching, development and implementation of long-term educational programs, as well as, efforts to improve enforcement do not overcome the status of minimal, the AMBR will continue far from completing its fundamental objectives of protecting the rich ecosystem it shelters.Item type:Item, Da terra ao prato: um estudo das práticas de autoconsumo em um assentamento rural(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-12) ;Duval, Henrique Carmona ;Valêncio, Norma Felicidade Lopes da Silva ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/7161606146208875https://lattes.cnpq.br/1127516712972199I ssues surrounding food production within the family agriculture system, where they grow their own food for self-consumption, are being focused by the academic reflection of Social Sciences as well as across all levels of government. This production system is strongly associated with the process of social reproduction but its evaluation, beyond the economic dimension, remains unclear. This research seeks to develop a qualitative sociological investigation on the food production for self-consumption among rural families settled in Monte Alegre farm, in the region of Araraquara, State of São Paulo. It was carried out an integrated analysis on the agricultural systems used in farming and growing food, involving family labor, and eventually, the dish of food of the settled families. Such analysis also included the fight for land and the autonomy as human being, the non-forced labor and family cohesion and the material and symbolic dimensions of social life. In order to collect data, a semi-structured questionnaire was completed headed to the main work assumptions; moreover it was applied methodological procedures, such as journeys and direct observation, daily field record, collection of menus, drawings, inventories, and also the photo-documentation of the lands. The records collected from the families indicate that, after a period where they had suffered expropriation of their territories, occurred by the agricultural modernization, the fight for land and the productive farming establishment in the land granted them another opportunity to grow their own food, reproducing techniques, landscapes and menus from a remaining memory of the agricultural life they experienced before the mentioned expropriation. The settled families recommence producing by their own efforts, supported on traditional agriculture practices, and the result is that growing food turned into provisions allowed them to recover the aspects of their social identity as food growers and producers, however, in a new social status. It can be concluded that employing such practices, it is possible to change the relations between family and land, which can be seen as a primary source of nutrients, as well as they allow experiments around sustainable agriculture, providing an assorted food basket that meets family s tastes and preferences, assuring food safety and guaranteeing the rights to food sovereignty.Item type:Item, Sublimação, pulsão de morte, superego: o papel das teses freudianas sobre a cultura na elaboração das concepções metapsicológicas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-12) ;Nakasu, Maria Vilela Pinto ;Simanke, Richard Theisen ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/5431145327759147https://lattes.cnpq.br/0598889377212311Considering that Freudian reflection about culture belongs entirely to the field of psychoanalytic investigation, as do neurosis or the facts of normal individual psychism, this work intends to verify how such reflection points out to the formulation and consolidation of metapsychologic notions. In order to do so, we will focus on sublimation, death pulsion and superego concepts, once they are crucial concepts of solidarity among these two reflections: metapsychology and theory of culture. In the same way, we aim at contributing to a more precise outlining of metapsychology meaning.Item type:Item, Implantação de um kanban eletrônico em uma montadora de produtos de linha branca(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-13) ;Amann, Plinio JoséPolitano, Paulo RogérioIn the race to improve stock management there are two approaches, one based on the Japanese philosophy of Lean Production and the other based on the implementation of information technology that improves the flow of information an reduces response times in the supply chain. These study aims to understand the impact of a White Goods Maker on stock levels of a solution that combines both approaches, i.e. Electronic Kanban via internet, which is a hybrid form of Kanban, using Information Technology as a control and management method. Using Action Research methodology, the implementation process of this tool was analysed through stock turnover indicators, enacting three cycles that include data gathering and intervention in the observed reality. This study led to the conclusion that the implementation of Electronic Kanban contributed towards the improvement of the stock turnover of the company in question.Item type:Item, Estudo da recristalização dinâmica do aço inoxidável austenítico F 138, utilizado em próteses ortopédicas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-15) ;Geronimo, Fabio Henrique Casarini ;Balancin, Oscar ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/8379205949387493https://lattes.cnpq.br/4102566785398237In order to analyze the microstructure and to know the dynamic softening mechanics that take place during the hot work in F 138 stainless steel, physical simulation was carried out through continuous isothermal hot torsion tests in a wide range of temperatures and strain rates, covering the real conditions of processing used in the manufacture of orthopedic implants with this material. The plastic flow stress curves obtained in this study showed a typical behavior of dynamic recrystallization. Also was determined the peak and steady-state stresses (σp, σss) and strains (εp, εss) and also the value of apparent activation energy for F 138 stainless steel, which is Q = 475kJ/mol. Through the curves of work-hardening rate vs. equivalent stress (θ vs. σ), the values of critical stress (σc) and strain (εc) for initiation of dynamic recrystallization are obtained. The metallographic observation was used to measure the average grain size under all deformation conditions, and also for the pre-deformed grain, D0 = 85.1μm. Thus it was possible to obtain empirical mathematical equations for the studied steel, which relate the processing parameters with the average grain size, since the resulting grain varies with processing conditions. The obtained data in this study will form a database which could be used in softwares of thermomechanical processing numerical simulation, which will permit the previous evaluation of resulting microstructure in a hot work processing of this material.Item type:Item, Efeitos das desintegrinas Alternagina-C e DisBa-01 de Bothrops alternatus em fibroblastos, células endoteliais e tumorais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-17) ;Ribeiro, Juliana Uema ;Araújo, Heloísa Sobreiro Selistre dehttps://lattes.cnpq.br/4065824911933203Disintegrins are small cysteine-rich proteins with an RGD motif isolated from viperidae snake venoms. DisBa-01, a recombinant RGD-disintegrin from Bothrops alternatus snake venom, inhibits melanoma cell metastasis and also platelet aggregation in murine models by interactions with β3 integrin cell receptors. Also, this RGD-disintegrin inhibits human microvascular endothelial cell (HMEC-1) proliferation in vitro and angiogenesis in vivo. Alternagin-C (ALT-C), a disintegrin-like protein from Bothrops alternatus, is a potent inhibitor of the collagen binding to α2β1 integrin which plays an essential role in the adhesion of normal and tumor cells to the extracellular matrix. Also, this protein can modulate angiogenesis where low concentrations of ALT-C positively regulate the formation of new blood vessels, whereas high ALT-C concentrations negatively modulates this process. This work presents the effects of DisBa-01 and ALT-C: 1) on the adhesion of breast cancer invasive MDA-MB-231 cells to the ECM proteins and to the subendothelial matrix produced by HUVEC (human vascular endothelial cells) under static and dynamic conditions; and 2) on the VEGFRs expression on endothealial cells. ALT-C inhibited tumoral cell adeshion to almost ECM proteins individually and also to ECM. Only 10000nM ALT-C inhibited tumoral cell adhesion to the HUVEC matrix under static conditions. Under flow, tumoral adhesion were inhibited by 100nM and 1.000nM ALT-C. Flow induces α2β1 activation in endothelial cells and MDA-MB- 231 cells expressed high levels of α2β1. Thus, a possible activation of this integrin by the shear stress could enhance its interactions with ALT-C. DisBa-01 had no effect on the tumoral cell adhesion to HUVEC matrix under static conditions. On the other hand, under flow the RGD-disintegrin strongly inhibited tumoral and platelet adhesion. Thus, a possible activation of αVβ3 by flow could enhance its interactions with DisBa-01. About VEGFR expression, DisBa-01 down-regulated VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2 expression in almost all tested concentrations. ALT-C up-regulates VEGFR-2 expression at lower concentration. These results can explain at least in part the effects of DisBa-01 and ALT-C in angiogenesis. The anti-adhesives and antiangiogenics ALT-C and DisBa-01 properties may be helpful for the study of tumoral metastasis as well as in the design of new therapeutic agents targeting tumor cell adhesion on extravasation and invasion steps.Item type:Item, Inclusão de alunos com deficiência múltipla : análise de um programa de apoio(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-18) ;Aráoz, Susana Maria Mana de ;Costa, Maria da Piedade Resende dahttps://lattes.cnpq.br/6643496224213646The aim of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of a Program of Support for Inclusion of Multi Disabled Students using techniques such as MAP and PATH as facilitators. The techniques disclosed by Pearpoint, Forest and O'Brien proposed a work centered on the person and acting with a positive vision of the future developed by groups where families, professionals and community members participate. The participants were four students between 7 and 14 years of a specialized institution that is in the city, the one that serves more students with multiple disabilities, and they began to be a part of the category of "participating beneficiaries." Worked in groups four facilitators participants 1', family members; four "facilitators participants 2", professionals of the specialized institution; and four facilitators participants 3 , members of the general community. It was proposed and carried out three meetings to develop the technique MAP for the removal of the needs and characteristics of each "participating beneficiary", to outline a plan of action. There was full involvement of participants. Six meetings were proposed with the PATH technique for monitoring the actions and made six in a group, five in another because the difficulty of one of the members and four in two other groups because of problems of prohibition of accessing roads. Requirements were raised to improve the educational programs to encourage the development of communication, activities of daily life, inclusion in regular schools, inclusion in the general community, the need for diagnosis, family support and effective relationship between education and health areas. The actions performed successfully forward improvements in care of the specialized institution, getting advice online first and then, presence advice with a three-day seminar for parents and teachers, all subsidized by national and international institutions. It was started a work on monitoring activities of daily living at home and social inclusion in areas of "participating beneficiaries" focusing mainly the churches that are available. The diagnoses were scheduled in a philanthropic hospital care and that provides a predictable treatment and it was got aids of volunteers so that families could travel to the state capital for these services. Three of the "beneficiaries participants" sought the regular education system, where only one has registered but he could not attend for lack of educational help. It was initiated in this case, a work in partnership between management, teachers and the school's specialized institution, volunteers and the researcher to achieve the inclusion. It can be concluded that the techniques MAP and PATH facilitated the actions to improve the family, social and educational inclusion because they followed the plan. It is desirable that the groups would have a greater number of members and that facilitators of the community could join to the centered group on the person and also to a group of volunteers to maximize the overall effectiveness of actions. Also, the partnership achieved through the regular school, in a case could be extended to all, encouraging the exchange of shares between the regular education, special education and health services.Item type:Item, Algoritmo genético-tabu para a programação reativa da produção em um sistema de manufatura com recursos compartilhados(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-20) ;Duarte, Ageu Morais ;Morandin Júnior, Orides ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/4192845106907956https://lattes.cnpq.br/0175023747066668Manufacturing systems with shared resources have been designed to meet the market needs, which require high quality products, low cost and the guarantee of the conditions agreed with the customer. The production scheduling in a manufacturing system is a complex task due to its combinatorial nature. Several studies show the use of search methods, such as Genetic Algorithms (GAs) and Tabu Search (TS), applied to the refinement of the production scheduling problem. The GAs present as disadvantages, the premature convergence, the lack of search intensification mechanisms in promising regions and also the lack of mechanisms which maintain the diversification of the population. In order to make GAs more effective in their search, by avoiding the premature convergence and ensuring the population diversity, some mechanisms are added to them so as to adjust their parameters during the search process, the so called Adaptative Genetic Algorithms (AGAs). However, these mechanisms do not guarantee the search intensification in the promising regions found. On the other hand, the TS presents mechanisms of search intensification and diversification, although its computational time depends on how optimal its initial solution is (solution by which the search process starts). In order to overcome the limitations of the traditional search methods, the Hybrid Algorithms (HAs) have been developed. They consist of the association of one method with another so that one helps the other in its deficiencies . This dissertation proposes the development of a Genetic-Tabu Algorithm (GTA) applied to the problem of the production reactive scheduling in a manufacturing system with shared resources, in order to ensure good compromise between makespan values and feedback time. The TS will be a functionality added to the AG and to the AGA, in other words, it will be a procedure to refine the individual(s) of the initial position and also to refine the individual obtained by the search methods. Tests have been conducted to determine which selection method (roulette or tournament) is more adequate for the definition of the neighborhood structure and also for the definition of the time to apply the mutation operator. Besides, other tests have been conducted by using different ways to calculate the makespan; one of them proposed in this dissertation and the others by Deriz (2007) and by Sanches (2008).Item type:Item, Análise da planta genérica de valores por meio de estrato de renda no município de São Carlos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-20) ;Medvedchikoff, Tatiana Gakiya ;Röhm, Sergio Antonio ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/7332654261230826https://lattes.cnpq.br/5327141817744769The tax planning is necessary for there to be a rational application of resources and improvements in basic infrastructure for the municipality. Therefore, the assessment and questioning of the results indicated in the Generic Plant Values can provide information to the legitimacy of taxation more fair and accessible. This study evaluated the consistency of values existing plant in São Carlos - SP with respect to income levels provided by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). The methodology used algebra through the Spring software. The results indicated possible inconsistencies between the income strata and venal values established. It is concluded that the plant venal values could be more efficient if they changed the criteria for charging for urban voids and taken into account the income strata of the taxpayer.Item type:Item, Elaboração e avaliação de conteúdo educacional para educação a distância sobre úlceras por pressão(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-20) ;Casaburi, Paula Regina ;Zem-Mascarenhas, Silvia Helena ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0185144417072417https://lattes.cnpq.br/6430250104416309In search of qualification, the nursing searches increasingly a continuous update of all the team. One of the strategies that can be used for professional training is the education in service. In this perspective, for the creation of educational projects for training, the nursing has several technological resources in the health institutions and the computer is a facilitator of teaching activities and upgrade. The use of distance education mediated by computer finds wide application in the educational process, providing cost savings and increases the flexibility of teaching. In this context, this project aimed to develop and evaluate an educational content about pressure ulcers to the EAD. For this, placed a survey of the knowledge of a nursing team who worked in an outpatient unit on the prevention and treatment of chronic skin ulcers (pressure ulcers) to support the development of educational content. The development of an educational content about pressure ulcers used the Planning Learning Activities Supported by Computer based on the concepts of the Theory of Meaningful Learning. The course about prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers was created in the virtual learning environment Moodle, using as a structure a division by chapters and consists of an introductory text, introductory exercises, revealing the knowledge (educational content) and the full text. In addition, a glossary, chat, discussion forums, course evaluation, recommended links, notice board and contact have been used as tools. In the final step of this study was made an assessment of educational content for expertises in the nursing subject and distance education. In the assessments were highlighted by all the evaluators the scientific rigor and update of the course available. Also identified some areas for improvement, as increase interactivity with the student and improve the quality of the images presented. This work was possible to verify the importance of information technology for the development of distance education courses for nursing and health education, and the importance of researches about skin ulcers. We identified that the creation of courses with the help of a multidisciplinary team is a strategy that we must use, searching with this the creation of interactive courses with the students, providing greater adherence and understanding of the material provided. We 11 conclude that despite the continued growth of distance education, several investments are still needed to reach the same one of its purposes that is to expand the science education. Besides being thematic, the course design followed the grammar as skill approach and theory to guide the activities and the development of the classes. Based on qualitative data analysis, we present the results of our study, which reveal students involvement and accuracy progress when exposed to meaning-focused formal language studies. Students proved able to notice language aspects, structure and use them in verisimilar contexts, specially concerning grammatical and linguistic aspects that had been focused in classes. We have based our discussion and pedagogical activity design mainly on Batstone (1994) and Larsen-Freeman (2004). The activities proposed in the course that has served as the context for data collection are available at the appendix section of this dissertation. Our research is likely to contribute with the discussion considering the role of grammar teaching in classrooms as well as to provide professionals in the area with a better comprehension of this contemporary approach, which has not been widely investigated yet.Item type:Item, Processos excludentes e produção do espaço urbano em cidades pequenas paulistas: os casos de Capão Bonito, Buri e Ribeirão Grande(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-24) ;Moreira Junior, Orlando ;Francisco, José ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0330065027402518https://lattes.cnpq.br/6868070530597712The present work aims to elaborate an acquaintance about the social and spatial inequalities still few studied in non-metropolitan urban realities, specifically in small towns. Therefore this dissertation attempts to weave some considerations about the production of urban spaces in São Paulo small towns, examining the practices and actions of the producers agents of the urban space, which contribute to an unequal and excluding social-spatial formation, making a reflection from a study case in Capão Bonito, Buri and Ribeirão Grande, in order to achieve an analysis that allows to understand how public and private spheres and the civil society contribute in different ways to the unequal production of urban spaces, seeking to identify, in different perspectives, how exclusion is manifested in these urban realities. Thus, we seek to contribute to a deeper theoretical understanding of excluding processes in small towns in São Paulo State. The concept of spatial deconstruction is used as an analytical instrument to interpret space production and this research was made feasible by a bibliographic gathering, fieldwork and collection, data analysis and systematization that allowed a spatial reading of exclusion to indicate in different perspectives, how the phenomenon manifests itself both in the intra-urban scale and in the intercity scale. For this purpose we seek to contextualize the small towns from the economical aspects linked to the urbanization process, through what is possible to verify the constitution of Brazilian urban network guided by the competition between cities. Then reflect if the small towns, in this context, are excluding territories and emphasize the importance of thinking about solutions, mainly in territorial management and integrated urban network, turning possible to minimize the socio-spatial inequalities that afflict small towns.Item type:Item, Discurso(s) do(s) outro(s) na imagem de si: um estudo discursivo dos textos didáticos destinados à formação de formadores indígenas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-24) ;Moraes, Milena Borges de ;Baronas, Roberto Leiser ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/4613001301744682https://lattes.cnpq.br/9079797912339030Our research aims to analyze the discursive construction of ethos in the discourse of the indigenous teacher, seeking to understand how discursive practices historically stereotyped by non-Indian determine the images, the ethos that the subject "Indian" professor constructs himself in the discourse intended for educational training indigenous trainers. We work with the hypothesis that the discourses produced by the indigenous teachers textbook for training of Indian students, the Other constituent of his speech is his pocket, his neighbor, on the contrary is non-Indian who live a conflicted relationship since that the Portuguese landed in American continent in 1500. From this perspective, we take as theoretical and methodological discourse analysis of French oriented, highly nuanced by pecheuxtianos and maingueneanos tones. The empirical corpus mobilized for this research consists of the book O índio brasileiro: o que você precisa saber sobre os povos indígenas no Brasil de hoje (The Brazilian Indian: what you need to know about indigenous peoples in Brazil today) volume 12, which includes the series Vias dos Saberes (Ways of Knowledge) Coleção Educação para Todos (Collection Education for All), written by the Indian Baniwa whose goal to provide subsidies for training of indigenous students in undergraduate courses in intercultural level. Our analysis indicates that the image of discursive enunciator / Indian is a militant and his discourse is overlapped by the discourse of the non-Indian in a relation conflicting and nomad.Item type:Item, Análise das trajetórias de transição de produtores de base ecológica de Ibiúna/SP: identificação e caracterização de indicadores sociais de sustentabilidade(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2009-11-26) ;Kerber, Marinês ;Abreu, Lucimar Santiago de ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/7025928931374268https://lattes.cnpq.br/2961359974157842The present work has the objective to contribute with the quarrel on the support of Brazilian familiar agriculture, by means of the reconstruction of the trajectories of transition of familiar producers and the identification of social pointers of support, based on participative principles.
