listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O processo de planejamento da produção utilizando conceitos orçamentários para fins de avaliação de desempenho operacional numa empresa fabricante de bens de capital(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2011-08-31) Pedrino, Cintia; Politano, Paulo RogérioThe fast growth of business and the new needs of the globalized market require companies to maximize their results, which are measured by the economic and financial market, throughout performance indicators of business activities. To do so, an organization goes, necessarily, through stages of planning and budget control where every sector shows its contribution. The planning process of the companies is divided into strategic planning, tactical planning and operational planning whose focus is to produce products and services efficiently in order to implement the overall goals and strategies of the company. The integration between the sectors as well as the quality of information becomes vital to make a good plan. For this, the use of systems and information technologies supporting the planning may have an important aspect in the search of competitiveness. The purpose of this work is to use the methodology of Action-research to systematize and automate, throughout a management information system, the production planning based on monetary values, distribution and allocation of the production cost, and to promote a maximization of the results.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Poder e resistência em Michel Foucault: uma genealogia do acontecimento(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2011-08-31) Temple, Giovana Carmo; Fonseca, Thelma Silveira da Mota Lessa da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7055557169644792Cette étude a pour objet fondamental analysé la relation entre la résistance et l exercice du pouvoir d après les études de Michel Foucault. Thus, this paperaims to show the main process of establishing the chain of biodiesel in the state ofMato Grosso on the assumption that the chain of biodiesel is developed with high interdependence of the agroindustrial complex of soy in Mato Grosso. To collectthe data we used a structured questionnaire and semi structured, the researcher presents the guidelines, but also gave the respondent the option of mentioning other points considered relevant and which were not addressed. The questionnaires were administered personally by the author and some others, sente-mails requesting information for institutional aid in the understanding of the relationships of the actors present in this chain. The results indicate the existence of a strong link in the chain of biodiesel with soybean agro-industrial complex in the state and that the production of alternative raw materials for the replacement of soybeans in the biodiesel production chain, is still in its infancy, there is noproduction sufficient scale to offer a competitive with soybeans.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Rotinas de revisão no processo de geração e adoção de tecnologias na cafeicultura: estudos de casos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2011-08-31) Bicalho, Ellenise Elsa Emídio; Nantes, José Flávio Diniz; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1900976112613026; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4244515570556074The project‟s object was to identify how the generation, diffusion and adoption process of agriculture machinery and equipments occur in the coffee production. In order to achieve this goal, a qualitative approach was chosen through a case study. The sector companies and coffee cooperative members were analyzed. The results showed that the technology innovation and generation process is accomplished, mainly by the company itself and through partnership with suppliers and clients. Research institutes, competitors or other institutions did not participated in the innovation and generation process. The main reason for innovative activity accomplished by the studied companies is the high level of competition in the sector. Another factor considered important was the accomplishment of the consumer‟s necessities and wishes. It was observed that the best way of innovation diffusion take place in the participation of events and fairs. The client‟s properties products testing is another way used in the innovation diffusion. By the farmer‟s side, the diffusion takes place through the direct and personal information trade. Among the coffee growers studied, the technology diffusion takes place, many times, by the cooperative, through conferences offered to them. The adoption process meets several challenges to be overdone, but two factors can be outstanding: The labor cost and sales coffee price. These two factors are crucial for the grower makingdecision.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Sistemas agroflorestais e a construção do conhecimento agroecológico em assentamentos rurais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2011-08-31) Nobre, Henderson Gonçalves; Schlindwein, Marcelo Nivert; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9690898537150950; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0039137780834982The Sepé Tiaraju, the first one settlement in the mode of Sustainable Development Project PDS of São Paulo state, founded in 2004 in the sugarcane region of Ribeirão Preto/SP, has as a proposal being an alternative to the conventional forms of land occupation and management of natural resources adopted in the region. Then a group of farmers along with Embrapa Environment, INCRA/SP and other partners has been trying to consolidate a participative strategy of development and generation of agro-ecological knowledge in the settlement using Agroforestry SAFs. Based on this ongoing process in the Sepe Tiaraju settlement, this study uses methodologies such as Participatory Rural Appraisal, Participatory Action Research and Participant Observation to analyze the strategies of development adopted, and the contribution of the SAFs for the construction of agro-ecological knowledge and the consolidation of sustainable production systems. In summary we can say by this study that the Agroecology and the use of participative methodologies are essential to conduct local development strategies, thereby promoting the construction, validation and appropriation of knowledge by farmers. It also became clear the contribution of the agroforestry to conciliate the environmental conservation with the diversified food production for the families selfconsumption and even surplus for commercialization and income generation.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Relação entre línguas: diferentes modos de dizer o português brasileiro(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2011-08-31) Silva, Adriana da; Silva, Soeli Maria Schreiber da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8794598988783452Our work intitled Languages relationship: Brasilian Portuguese, several ways is based on the theory of the Semântica do Acontecimento(Semantics of the Events). Our corpus is formed by interviews maked by students linguistic graduate at the Federal University of São Carlos city , in 2009, during the Linguistic course taught by Prof. Dra. Soeli Maria Schreiber da Silva. In this research, we propose to study the functioning of the Portuguese language, so with the imaginary one language . Our objective was to observe it as the Portuguese -speaking establish a relationship with the colonization story at the utterance time. About our analysis, we observe speakers affected by the symbolic subjects that are located one at a time and place. In this sense, subjects are constituted in the Event enunciation, it is that we analyzed their positions, places that speak and the way they talk, how they speak and how their mean words. Thus the goal of this work is the language relationship where we consider, based on this theoretical foundation, that the senses are formed in the enunciative events, connected to the history, to the social as well as to the politics.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Estudo de parâmetros cinéticos do sistema comercial Bac-to-Bac® para produção de proteínas recombinantes(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2011-08-31) Corrêa, Thaís Portantiolo; Mendonça, Ronaldo Zucatelli; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0886073943430823; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9123699930520301The expression system of recombinant proteins in insect cells/baculovirus (BEVS) was described and introduced in 1983 and since then has become a powerful tool for the production of recombinant proteins of biotechnological interest. This work studied the kinetics of Bac-to-BacR Baculovirus Expression System (Invitrogen ) used for the production of recombinant proteins, evaluating growth patterns and consumption of nutrients from Sf-9 insect cells infected with this commercial bacmid and determining the effect of viral inoculum. For this, Sf-9 cells grew at 29oC in T flasks containing 5 mL of SF-900 II medium or Schott bottles with working volume of 15 mL and orbital shaking at 90 rpm. UFLAG-286 cells were also tested at 29°C in TC-100 medium supplemented with 10% bovine fetal serum. The baculovirus used were the Autographa californica nuclear polyhedrosis virus (AcMNPV) as a wild baculovirus infection model, the bacmid extracted from DH10Bac bacteria and transposed with the transfer vector empty (pFastBac 1), called Bac sprec and the bacmid recombinant AcNPV with the GUS coding sequence of the gene β- glucuronidase, used as a standard for transposition experiments and transfection. Cells were infected at different times (TOI), on the initial phase, the exponential phase or stationary phase of cell growth, and with different multiplicities of infection (MOI) (0.01, 0.1, 1 and 10). It was observed that the MOI does not influence the viral replication, because even with the low MOI the cell growth was completely inhibited. TOI had already affected the production of total cell proteins, and infection in the early exponential phase was that obtained the highest number of total proteins. The supplementation of the cultivation with Bac sprec with serine and glutamine did not lead to increased viral production. The supernatant of cultures infected with Bac sprec was able to inhibit cell death where there was induction of apoptosis by terbutyl, indicating contain some protein with anti-apoptotic activity. This effect was not observed on wild baculovirus.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Estratégias, condições e obstáculos para implantação de técnicas mais sustentáveis no manejo da água em assentamentos rurais. Caso: assentamento rural Horto Vergel 12 de outubro , Mogi Mirim-SP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2011-08-31) Barboza, Renato Matos de Lopes Torres; Teixeira, Bernardo Arantes do Nascimento; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1166854416745527; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2156186273034545When we analyze the basic needs of human beings, the quantity and quality of available water determines the life quality of a family or community. This research brings to light the importance of access to water to ensure the basic needs of rural communities based on social inclusion and self-sufficiency. A unique case study, based on Martin (2008), was proposed to study water management in the Rural Settlement Horto Vergel in Mogi Mirim-SP. The proposal aims to bring up the strategies and analyze the conditions and obstacles to implement more sustainable techniques in water management in rural settlements. A diagnosis of the settlement was developed based on a survey of existing documents, interviews with settlers, leaders, agents and Technical Assistance and Rural Extension (Ater) institutions working on site, as well as practical activities for implementation and evaluation of participatory methodologies developed during the research. It was found that sustainability in management and conservation of water in the settlement is directly linked to its historical development (camping, entering the lot, opening the water hole wells, installation of the power grid, semi artesian wells, opening of wells, installation of network distribution system, and creation of the rural district), forms of public investment and organizational models used. The institutions of Ater should systematize the adapted technologies for family agriculture already charted and/or tested related to water management and conservation, and develop instruments that will ensure the continuity and transfer of information between entities and teams. The existence of structural and organizational problems within the settlement, in addition to insufficient financial resources, lack of alternative methods and technologies, and research on water management and conservation by the Ater specialists, have interfered and still complicate the development process of the settlement.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Ao sabor das águas acreanas. Etnografia das oficinas de vídeo do projeto Vídeo nas aldeias: Ashaninka e Huni Kuin(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2011-08-31) Busso, Adriana Fernanda; Cohn, Clarice; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1714080901123094; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3430193753255761This ethnography presents two moments of learning processes by which latter indigenous filmmakers members of the Pontão de Cultura Vídeo Nas Aldeias experience during their training: Shooting and Editing. Much has been discussed in relation to meeting the needs and expectations of customers, models are developed (BSC, Sink and Tuttle, Performance Prism among others) in order to integrate the internal and external perspectives and approaches to organizations in order to facilitate understanding and measurement of an increasingly selective market and increasingly agile changes. Among these concerns is the issue of greenhouse gas emissions, the impact of ozone mainly by the use of fossil fuels (petroleum), besides the risk of its scarcity. Thus, research has been conducted in the area of renewable biofuels, such as ethanol, biodiesel, and other bioenergy sources. In these studies, has been shown to be economically viable, but mostly, the feasibility from the viewpoint of decreasing the rate of air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions by the use of biodiesel added to diesel used for transport. Because the biodiesel production process still developing industries with processes still under implementation, early production and / or stage of process improvement, usually with initial concern in technical procedures, variables of financial order, the early production, the soon return of investment, achieving the goals established in the strategic planning, among others, let aside a major issue: the measurement and evaluation of process performance in terms of quality and productivity. In this respect, the need arises for indicators measuring the performance of processes and products of unit producing biodiesel. Thus this dissertation discusses methods, tools and indicators of process performance, with an emphasis on quality and productivity, from the "needs" of the internal users of the company, as well as existing legal requirements. The study of multihulls, with interviews and observations "in situ" with three units producing biodiesel from the northern region of the state of Mato Grosso, supported by semi-structured questionnaire was used as the research method. From tabulation, analysis and compilation of data, have been proposed measurement indicators appropriate to the reality and needs of managers performance.
