Children with severe communication disorders require a rehabilitation program directed to the orientation and manipulation of the user and the family. In this context, it is essential the participation of the person responsible for the child within the family context in the process of choose, development and adaptation of the resource, since parents know better wishes, the center of interest and the routine of their children. The partnership between parents and health professionals has the purpose to make the family an active and cooperative member during this process. The objective of this study was to develop, to implement and to evaluate an Individualized Program of Augmentative and Alternative Communication for parents of children with Cerebral Palsy. The research took place in the Family and School Unity at Federal University of São Carlos, located in São Paulo State, Brazil. The study included 3 children with cerebral palsy and their mothers. In this study was it was used ten instruments; 5 of them were constructed specifically for this study: two protocols about Characterization of the participants; one Interview outline with the objective to identify communication skills already used by the child through the report of the mothers; Protocol for analyze the baseline and intervention with objective to describe in details the video of the baseline and intervention, an outline to analyze mothers perceptions about program effectiveness, Motor Function Measure Classification System with the objective to classify children motor function movements in sitting and walking, Brazil Criterion Questionnaire was used to evaluate and categorize the possession of consumer durables and education level of household head and the Protocol for the Selection of the figures in order to select items from children interest reported by mothers, which are related to the theme of self-care, productivity and leisure. In order to verify the effects of the intervention it used Multiple Baseline Design cross subjects including two phases: baseline and intervention. The results were described in three studies. The study I reveals data on the communication skills of children before and after the intervention. The data showed existing communicative skills in children, and a low input repertoire and acquire new skills through the implementation of alternative communication. The study II data revealed Intervention Process, mothers and children before the intervention process lacked a repertoire of meaningful input before the issue of alternative communication. With the intervention, the repertoire of the mothers was significant and there was an excellent performance in using the same communication capabilities as well as an alternative expressive performance by children in communicating their desires through the figures. Study III showed the mothers' perceptions about the relevance of the use of communication resources to get your kids to express themselves in situations of everyday life. Thus, the premise that the deployment of communications capabilities supplementary and/ or alternative through a partnership with mothers of children with cerebral palsy do not favor the expansion of verbal interaction and acquire new communication skills was confirmed. Considering the results presented above, the above research hypothesis was tested and confirmed. In formal education deaf students are also offered an interpretation service performed by a Translator/ Interpreter of Brazilian Sign Language, in this dissertation referred to as educational interpreter (EI). Thus, under the assumptions of enunciative-discursive perspective, the objective of this study is to identify (1) strategies adopted in the interpretation from Portuguese to Brazilian Sign Language in the context of a Lato sensu graduate course and (2) influences experienced by an interpreter in this activity. The methodology adopted was participant ethnographic research, since it enables forms of interaction between the researcher and the subjects that no other technique does. In this study Libras interpreters (the author and other professional researcher invited) participated, in addition, an adult deaf student, a professor and other hearing students took part. Data collection was conducted through video recording of the interpretation of the classes in the university s classroom. The classes analyzed (part of a specialization course on "Sustainability - in the context of construction / architecture) had as subject "Energy Efficiency." The activity of educational interpreting, especially in higher education is a difficult task since it involves not only technical knowledge, but also conceptual, social, academic and linguistic knowledge related to the course theme. For this, A. alternate was inoculated in sweet orange (resistant) and Murcott tangor (susceptible) to evaluated the modification of chemical constituents through study using HPLC-DAD coupled with chemometric tools and analysis of constituents volatile of these varieties. The histopathological study of the interaction between this microorganism and citrus varieties studied was done using SEM-Environmental and was observed the penetration of the fungus into the tissue of citrus susceptible. The phytochemical study of citrus was done with the objective of obtaining substances for testing inhibition of mycelial growth and appressoria formation of A. alternata, which resulted in the isolation of 17 secondary metabolites. The chemometric analyses of the variation of the chemical profile of citrus studied detected a possible local response in leaves of Murcott Tangor. Then, to check this result was done in an experiment in 1H NMR 600 MHz and was observed a accumulation of flavonoid apigenin 7-O-rutinoside in leaves of Murcott tangor with symptoms of ABS, when compared to control of this leaves. This result stimulated the investigation of the distribution of this substance in leaves intact Murcott tangor control and leaves with symptoms of ABS, which was performed using MALDI-IMS, indicating an accumulation of this substance in symptomatic leaves of Murcott tangor.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Fabricação de filmes ultrafinos no interior de microcanais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-02-06) Daikuzono, Cristiane Margarete; Riul Júnior, Antonio; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0751163307734256; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1341917543740090; Oliveira Junior, Osvaldo Novais de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8582867831317500The aim here is the fabrication and characterization of nanostructured thin films of different materials inside microchannels to assist the integration process of electronic tongue in lab-on-a-chip devices. The ultrathin films were deposited inside the microchannels using dynamic layer-by-layer technique through copper (II) tetrasulphonated phthalocyanine (CuTsPc) and poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH) bilayers, and also bilayers of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) poly(syterenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) and PAH. It was verified the best parameters involved in the nanostructuration of the materials throughout flow and time variations of the deposition of the electrolytes inside the microchannel. Moreover, the growth of the LbL films inside the microchannel was followed by UV-vis and impedance spectroscopy measurements. Through electrical impedance spectroscopy technique was observable that deposition of thin films PAH/CuTsPc was successful using a time of 8 min with a flow of 1500 μL/h, while to films of PAH/PEDOT:PSS optimal time was of 15 min with a static deposition. Raman analyses were used to ascertain of the presence and uniformity of film inside the microchannels. All films of PAH/CuTsPc show good Raman signal, especially those was deposited at 8 min with flow of 500 μL/h. Just films of PAH/PEDOT:PSS deposited in a time great 10 min showed Raman signal; the films deposited at a time of 15 min and flow of 1500 μL/h showed good Raman signal and films more homogeneous. It is worth mentioning that the fabrication of the microchannels and interdigitated electrodes was made in collaboration with Laboratório de Microfabricação do Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais (CNPEM) through a specific project in this research line (LMF-13070).
