Its purpose is to monitor the course of the students with disabilities throughout their schooling process. In the Brazilian federal legislation, there is no policy device to ensure that these students have an IEP based on their needs. The present study raised the question of how to qualify teachers for this task. The aim was to develop, to implement and to evaluate a continuing training program for special education teachers, focusing on IEP for disability students, in a public school system. The study was conducted with 34 Special Education teachers in 2012 based on collaborative action-research and involved five steps: 1) conduction of ethical procedures; 2) diagnosis of the initial stage of assessment procedures and educational plan of the selected municipality; 3) development of the training program; 4) implementation; and 5) evaluation of the program s social validity. Interviews were conducted and 200 planning documents were analyzed, named as individual development plan (IDP), existing before the program. The interviews aimed to describe how educators planned to target public education Special Education before program. There were realized observation and recording in field s diaries, based on theoretical content and application to real cases of students, besides filming to record plan making during the course. Recourse was had collective interview and closed questionnaire to evaluate the program with the participants. The data analysis, based on content analysis was carried out to present as results: a) a description of assessment process and educational planning for target students of Special Education (TSSE) before the program; b) a description of the assessment process and collaborative planning performed during the program, with the presentation of 12 case studied; and c) analysis of appreciation measures by the participants about the training program. Results indicated that, existing IDP before the program referred only to special instruction in multifunctional resources class (MRC), with few indications for teaching in regular class,. Planning was often incomplete and/or repetitive. The participants studied various models based on the literature of the area, and built collaboratively 12 IEP documents for their students with disability. At the end, they indicated that they appreciated the training program. The results indicated that the quality of IEP affected by lack of articulation and collaboration across professionals of Education, Special Education and Health. This kind of initiative is generally dependent on the will of professionals since there is no requirement to have this practice. The lack of training and working conditions enabling multidisciplinary meetings with were factors that difficulted the implementation of the IEP. In regard to the program, this type of training requires more time for participants to review and improve its practices. The implementation of the IEP development of practice is complex, as it requires the involvement of all the people involved in the situation to think how to systematically plan the short, medium and long term throughout the school career of each TSSE. Future studies could be to increase the knowledge about how the IEP can be implemented, the impact of the adoption of this practice in the schooling process of TSSE. Legal dispositions to ensure the IEP should be adopted in our country, to improve and monitor the quality of TSSE education, both in inclusive settings as in those specialized.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Métodos de avaliação da musculatura do assoalho pélvico feminino(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-02) Pereira, Vanessa Santos; Driusso, Patricia; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7455079159323235Proper assessment of the pelvic floor muscles is essential for the correct pelvic floor dysfunctions treatment. However, currently there is not a method considered as the gold standard assessment. Therefore, this thesis aimed to evaluate the reliability of different methods to normalize pelvic floor muscles electromyography (EMG) and the determination of the correlation among vaginal palpation, vaginal squeeze pressure, EMG and ultrasonographic variables of female pelvic floor muscles. For the first aim, we evaluated 30 women aged (23,9 ±3,2 years), nulliparous, with no reports of pelvic floor dysfunction. For EMG normalization, signals were acquired during four different tasks were performed with the vaginal probe in situ: pelvic floor maximal voluntary contraction (MVC) and three daily activities with increased intra-abdominal pressure (coughing, Valsalva maneuver and abdominal contraction). The results showed that the normalization of pelvic floor muscles EMG by either peak RMS of pelvic floor MVC or mean and peak RMS of abdominal contraction has excellent reliability. To analyze the correlation between the different methods of pelvic floor evaluation we evaluated 80 women and it was carried out the digital palpation, perineometry, EMG and ultrasound. It was observed that there is a positive strong correlation between digital palpation and vaginal pressure, besides positive moderate correlation between the function and vaginal pressure contraction and RMS normalized by abdominal contraction (0.59 and 0.63, respectively), and between movement of bladder neck in relation of pubic symphysis (0.51 and 0.60, respectively). In conclusion, the results demonstrated that the normalization of pelvic floor muscles EMG by the mean and peak RMS of abdominal contraction and by the peak RMS of pelvic floor MVC should be indicated in studies involving EMG evaluation of pelvic floor muscles in young, nulliparous and free from pelvic floor dysfunction women. In addition, the moderate to weak correlation between the evaluation methods indicates that using more than one method can be positive in the assessment of pelvic floor muscles.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Proposição de um método de gestão da satisfação dos clientes baseado na integração das normas ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 e NBR 15100(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-02) Silva, Erika Cristina da; Oprime, Pedro Carlos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9291517431456908; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5843597031618561The measurement of customer satisfaction has become a process of extreme importance to organizations on the competitive landscape in which they find themselves today. For this reason, there is a variety of publications of this subject. However, few are linked or cite references to quality standards. Another relevant fact is the lack of publications on the integration of industry quality standards, with the majority only addresses the integration of ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety) and SA 8000 (Social Responsibility). Therefore, it is concluded that there is a lack of published methods that manage the information of customer satisfaction for applications in organizations that have certificates in various industry sectors quality standards. This research included a case study in a large steel company that has the characteristics to perform it and this resulted in the proposal of a method for managing customer satisfaction consisting of 14 steps, which present practices and activities that should be undertaken by the organization. To achieve this goal it was considered the standard ISO 9001 and two industry standards (ISO/ TS 16949 and NBR 15100), a matrix for integration the satisfaction requirements of the three standards, two theoretical models for measuring customer satisfaction and the context in which the organization operates.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A influência da estratégia de suprimentos de uma grande empresa fabricante de elevadores sobre as estratégias de produção de dois fornecedores(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-03) Ueda, Rafael Maronezi; Nogueira, Edemilson; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9057529238845487The Production Strategy has been the subject of several academic articles, with researches in different industries. On the other hand, Supply Strategy does not have references in a similar number and there is a gap to be filled. Furthermore, it is scarce the study of organizations in the same supply chain, and the influence between them. This study aims to describe and analyze the influence of a large elevator company's supply strategy on the production strategy of two of its suppliers, who designed 99% of its production to the customer company and the other with only 15 % of total volume. Through a case study, consisting of interviews conducted in the participating companies, it was found that the customer company´s Supply Strategy has greater influence on vendor's Production Strategy with higher production dedicated to it. This conclusion is taken by events such as the deployment of a new plant the city of the customer company, changes in engineering, plant layout, information systems and logistics of goods according to the customer needs. On the other hand, it was observed that the influence that the same company has over the other supplier is tenuous due to its low percentage of production that is destined to the customer company, and fact that the latter has a larger number of customers who must take account. Is worth nothing that the biggest influence does not necessarily translate into better performance in the short term, as in this study, the supplier with lower production percentage showed better performance compared to competing priorities, but the highest percentage, had to be more in line with customer needs following the same score in different priorities.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Habilidades sociais e solidariedade intergeracional no relacionamento entre pais idosos e filhos adultos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-04) Braz, Ana Carolina; Del Prette, Zilda Aparecida Pereira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8113238388739093; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7034548352522284Recent demographic changes such as decreasing fertility rates and increasing life expectancy have favored intergenerational families. In this social context we use concepts from Social Skills Psychology, which focuses on the study of social interactions and interpersonal relationships. Social Skills (SS) are social behaviors that enable Social Compentence. There are different classes of SS: Assertiveness, Conversation and social resourcefulness, Emotional expressiveness, Empathy, Self-control. Interpersonal relationships have also been studied under the theoretical model of Intergenerational Solidarity (IS), which includes six dimensions: (1) Affectual (feelings and evaluations), (2) Associative (frequency and type of contact), (3) Consensual (agreement in opinions and values), (4) Functional (support), (5) Normative (expectations about obligations and norms) and (6) Structural (opportunity for interaction, due to geographical proximity) , and usually studied in association with conflict. Given that these two theoretical fields involve the interpersonal context of human development, it is possible to assume an interface between them. More specifically, social skills may be an antecedent condition favoring intergenerational solidarity. Thus, the aim of this thesis was to evaluate a possible interface between SS and IS, as well as relationship quality (RQ) among older parents and their adult children. The sample was composed of 69 parent-children dyads, ages 60 to 85 years for parents and between 25 to 50 years for the adult children. The dyads were separated according to the gender of the participants, yielding four types of dyads: Mothers and daughters (n = 17), Mothers and sons (n = 18), Fathers and daughters (n = 17), Fathers and sons (n = 18). Instruments were: IHSI - Del - Prette, IHS-Del-Prette, Scale of Intergenerational Solidarity, WHOQOL-OLD and Criterion Brazil. Descriptive and inferential analyses were performed. Initially, an analysis was performed by judges: experts evaluated the possible semantic relations between items of the IS and SS. Subsequently, correlational analyses were performed for SS, IS, sociodemographic variables and Relationship Quality. In these analyses we found evidence of association among these variables. From this evidence, models were developed through structural equation models for dyadic analysis using the Actor -Partner Interdependence Model with two predictors (at a significance level of p < 0.05, with effect size - D Cohen equal to 0.15 and the statistical power of 0.80). SS classes were found to be predictors of dimensions of IS and Conflict in intra and intergenerational analyses. We discuss the implications of these findings for research, evaluation, intervention, training of health professionals, public policies and social programs.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O cultivo da cana-de-açúcar em aleias: produtividade agrossilvicultural e influências sobre o agroecossistema(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-04) Pereira, Virgílio de Almeida; Margarido, Luiz Antonio Correia; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5685663057214334; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9761906263634624Sugarcane plantations are increasing in Brazil motivated by the demand of the sugar industry and the energetic sector. Sugarcane monocultures simplify the landscape and disconnect natural ecosystems. The inclusion of native trees in the canebrake, changing the matrices into an alley cropping system, is a new proposal that consider the environment beyond production. In order to assess the environmental effects in agroforestry was raised sugarcane productivity and development of trees in three crops (2009/10, 2010/11 and 2011/12), as well as the timber volume and carbon sequestration produced by the system at the end of the year 2012 and a bird survey during 2011 and 2012 in an experimental area of 1,957 hectares. Was found orderly development of tree species. Schizolobium parahyba present a significant mortality, but had the largest wood production thus coming to the same conclusion in relation to carbon sequestration, which are 3 times those of the Handroanthus spp. and 2 times the Cedrela fissilis. There was no change in the sugarcane productivity related to the distance line planting was the alley, with only a drop productivity in the range of 58 m cultivation. Birds are important bioindicators; trees contributed to the increased diversity of birds, being Schizolobium parahyba the arboreal species of most relevant importance. The spacing between alleys with the greatest diversity of birds was to 29 m. It is concluded that it is technically possible deployment agroecosystem proposed, without agronomic production damage of cane sugar; the 2 smaller bands cultivation (29 m and 43.5 m) are the most suitable; among tree species Schizolobium parahyba was the one with the best results in the short term, since the issue of mortality could be remedied with proper management or replanting.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A mirmecofauna como bioindicador em agroecossistema: estudo de caso em áreas de restauração no Vale do Ribeira, Sete Barras, SP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-04) Oliveira, Daniel Azevedo Mendes de; Franco, Fernando Silveira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3218633711361955; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1811393800261364The diversification of farm and agroforestry systems brings many ecosystemical services to the environment, the attraction of natural enemies and the decrease of herbivorous insects. A particular group of insects in agroecosystems are the ants, organisms that occur in all land Agroecosystems as predators and as plagues. The aim of this experiment was to analyze the occurrence of different guilds of ants in different forest restoration strategies in agroecosysten. For this purpose were collected monthly from February to July of 2013 ants on a farm in the city of Sete Barras in the Ribeira Valley, in different patterns of forest environments and agroforestry. It was noted that the predatory ants occur more frequently in areas with advanced vegetation successional stage, and that the leaf cutting ants occur more frequently in environments of vegetation in early stages of succession. This information can be use as an indicator of ecosystemical services by the biodiversity inside the agricultural properties that can be noted by the farmers himself suggesting that ants can be used as biological indicators in Agroecosystems transitions.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Janeiro de 2010, São Luiz do Paraitinga/SP: lógicas de poder, discursos e práticas em torno de um desastre(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-05) Marchezini, Victor; Valêncio, Norma Felicidade Lopes da Silva; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7161606146208875; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2909699430118148Disasters are socio-environmental phenomena, resulting from the interaction between a natural phenomenon in this case heavy rainfall and a given social organization, and culminating in a tragic event with both material and immaterial losses. In the social sciences, disasters are not considered to be natural, but rather a product of social, historical and territorially circumscribed processes (VALENCIO, 2009). They reveal the spatial superposition of social and environmental problems, whose state of crisis causes the emergence of a biopolitics of disaster, in order to guide a way to govern in the face of the event and, thus, deal with the populace as a political, scientific and biological problem and a problem of power (FOUCAULT, 1999). Thus, a set of techniques, power mechanisms and security devices are employed with the aim of trying to manage the problems that arise in the crisis setting. Classificatory security techniques are produced, imbued with knowledgepower discourse, in order to create an administrable reality, thus aiming to frame the complexity of the social problems revealed in the scene as something propitious for technical management, emphasizing the aspects of this reality which could be solvable. Exceptional security and governance techniques to manage calamities are created, called Situation of Emergency (S. E.) and State of Public Calamity (S. P. C.), coups that permit the creation of fissures in the legal order, causing the forces of the State to grow (FOUCAULT, 2008b). In Brazil, studies by Valencio (2012) showed that there were 10,195 declarations of S. E. or S. P. C. in the period from 2003-2009 (average of 1,456.42 declarations per year), which reveals that this form of governance became the rule and not the exception. I defend the thesis that these declarations of Situation of Emergency and State of Public Calamity are part of a biopolitics of disaster, used as techniques to increase the power of the State that, in the first moment of the emergency, saves lives, but that, after the impact, leaves to die, because the social demands of reconstruction and recovery are disconnected. The logic of power, the discourses and habits of the subjects involved in the postimpact process, that is, recovery and reconstruction in the face of disasters related with heavy rains in Brazil, are described. The disaster in São Luiz do Paraitinga, SP, a city that was flooded in January 2010, is used as a case study. A review of the state-of-the-art, documentary research and qualitative field research are adopted as methodological procedures. The temporal selection includes the period between January 2010 and June 2013, with the understanding that the process of social recovery is long term and extends beyond the period of this study. The results reveal that with the passing of time, especially with the end of the 180 day validity of the State of Public Emergency, the logic of saving lives become subtly diluted and a naturalizable logic of leaving to die gradually enters the scene, in the face of which the citizens of São Luis do Paraitinga, based on their socio-cultural repertory, seek strategies to create opposition. Discursively, the day of the disaster, a disaster that occurred is spoken of, but many of the practices reveal its continued existence.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Assentamento Irmã Alberta na Metrópole de São Paulo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-05) Almeida, Fernando Freitas de; Mariano, Neusa de Fátima; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5003743301847104; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8461920146053711The work sought to define the concept of peasantry and peasantry, above all through the perspective of the peasant moral order, he made a brief review of the history of the MST (Movement of Landless Rural Workers), held a discussion regarding the occupation as the most effective and efficient form of resistance created by peasants against the advance of agribusiness. School is a privileged environment for efficient activities aimed at the same, but to do so, it needs to be pleasurable and attractive to students. The development of computer-supported software and/or educational activities directly interferes with the learning outcome and can be used in the classroom in a playful and fun way, providing intrinsic motivation in this sense. Thus, this work aimed to evaluate games on the theme “dengue” available on the internet and also to design an interactive game on the same subject, as a support for teachers and students in basic education in teaching Science. The game “Everyone against Dengue” was developed using the Microsoft PowerPoint® authoring tool. During the conception and design of the game, criteria such as target audience, content to be covered, duration and number of phases, and level of difficulty, among others, were considered. Subsequently, a testing phase was carried out to evaluate the technical functionality and suitability of the content. Through the application of a questionnaire, using the Likert scale, it was found that the majority of participating volunteers were in favor of the game, configuring its viability and acceptance. Therefore, it is expected that this game will serve as a tool to support basic education teachers in teaching about dengue and as an instrument in the training of students, informing them about the risks and prevention of this disease, as well as making them agents that modify this reality. in their communities.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O olhar do aluno mediado pelas tecnologias digitais: o youtube e a (re)definição da relação pedagógica(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-05) Lopes, Ana Helena Ribeiro Garcia de Paiva; Zuin, Antônio Álvaro Soares; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5543562307373287; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2178369106215171The presence of digital technologies in everyday life of a significant part of human beings occurs increasingly intense way. At the same time, in the classroom space, the repression of feelings consolidates intensely. In this context, Youtube seems to be the scene of regressive catharsis by students. Aiming to understand how to (re)configure the relationships between teachers and students on new spaces of expression, this research investigates eight videos, posted on YouTube by students, showing the tension between the actors of the educational process, based on Critical Theory and Psychoanalysis. Thus, it presents one of the greatest challenges of education today: a new relationship between students and teachers as from the dialogue about and through digital technologies.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Relações dialógicas entre professores surdos sobre o ensino de Libras(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-06) Albres, Neiva de Aquino; Lacerda, Cristina Broglia Feitosa de; LACERDA, C. B. F. de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1652645656634694The object of this research is the formation of the Brazilian sign language teacher (Libras), in particular, pedagogically. The study about the Libras teaching and teachers formation is a new subject. Herein, I discuss some international experiences focused on the formation of the sign language teacher. A link is created between the formation conditions and the public policies for the formation of teachers, describing the syllabus for the Brazilian course, once the subjects for this research are submitted thereto. I compiled elements for the formation of teachers based on Bakhtinian studies for a methodology for teaching/studying languages. This work is structured as a field research carried out with teachers graduated with a Teaching Certification in Libras under the distance learning system coordinated by the Federal University of Santa Catarina. A Libras "back-talk focus group" was established, which was constituted by five deaf teachers, and the researcher acting as the group s mediator. The meetings were scheduled monthly, for one year (ten meetings with duration of two and half hours each). It was made a video recording and translation/transcription of these meetings. Based on the group enunciations, events discussing pedagogic practices and conceptions were selected. Based on the dialectical method, principles raised by Vygotsky (1998) were used, wherein the processes are analyzed and not only the object/product alone, articulating the microgenetic level of social interactions with the study of the dialogical-discursive behavior. Thus, elements from specific events were associated to macrosocial conditions. On a theoretical-methodological reference, the researcher sought support in historical-cultural approach theories, in particular, in the ideas published by Vygotsky and Bakhtin, which find its foundations on the enunciation and mediation, highlighting the importance of the role of our life s history, of our language and of our experiences in the constructions of our conscience. The concepts of meaning and sense were applied; the concept of dialogic; proper wording and the word of others; enunciation, ideology and enunciation, associating these concepts in order to understand the formation of teachers and the Libras teaching processes. The object hereof is limited to understand the history of formation of Libras teachers in Brazil, and the nature of the knowledge (scientific/technical) destined thereto at the time of the initial formation. The hypothesis was that, even with an initial formation, teachers presented theoretical-practical difficulties in their teaching performance. Upon the analysis of aspects of the initial formation and the enunciations of the group of teachers, it was interpreted the manner in which they signify and resignify their work, and how they apply their methodological knowledge to teach this language. Therefore, the analysis was carried out under three categories: 1) meaning and sense of the teaching work; 2) theory and practice in the teaching-learning process of the language; 3) political ideology and conscience. A thesis was established in which the formation of the Libras teachers must take into consideration the pedagogic practice as a political and didactic action within discursive contexts, providing the future teachers the understanding that the language is not an abstraction described by linguistics (solid), but that it is a part of the enunciation process. For this reason, the language is frequently mobilized by the active understanding, the teacher, therefore, being responsible for creating and conducting interactions that make Libras learners to take over manners to signify the world in this sign-visual language. This knowledge may favor the formation of future Libras teachers.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Desenvolvimento de concentrados de PVC reforçados com fibras de vidro longas (LF-PVC) para reforçar compostos de PVC rígido moldados por injeção(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-06) Grizzo, Leandro Henrique; Hage Júnior, Elias; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1240692926327687; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5414245470336455This work presents a study and development of long glass fiber PVC pellet concentrate (LF-PVC) manufactured by extrusion similar wire coating technique to reinforce pelletized rigid PVC compounds to produce injection molding LF-PVC composites. The incorporation of LF-PVC in rigid PVC compound exhibited mechanical benefits mainly in tensile modulus, flexural modulus and notched impact strength. Injection molding LF-PVC composites with 20 wt% of fiberglass presented tensile and flexural modulus 90% higher than unreinforced rigid PVC; Izod and Charpy notched impact strength 13% and 40% higher than unreinforced rigid PVC, respectively. The reinforcement of rigid PVC with LF-PVC presented slight damage in heat distortion and Vicat temperatures. 20wt% fiberglass PVC composites presented around 10% lower than unreinforced rigid PVC because LF-PVC reinforcement presented little quantity of plasticizers and majority of low molecular weight PVC resin. The innovative technique developed by Grizzo in a preliminary work [1; 2] to incorporate long glass fiber in rigid PVC compound was optimized because the LF-PVC pellets produced presented lower quantity of plasticizer, adequate fiberglass roving with suitable coupling agent (sizing) for PVC and a fiberglass roving tex (g/km) with excellent cost. In summary the reinforcement of injection molding rigid PVC compound with LF-PVC compounds produced unsatisfactory mechanical performance of LF-PVC composites, although that allowed them to compete to long glass fiber polypropylene and polyamide composites in injection molding technical parts under room temperature. Also LF-PVC composites allowed improve usual PVC applications such as connections to reduce thickness or rise dimensional, for example diameter and length, which was not possible before. The last, there are potential applications for LF-PVC composites to be used in special pressurized connections to replace internal metallic reinforcement, and in faucets and other bathroom devices for metal replacement.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Análise de um programa de autorregulação para alunos com dificuldades de aprendizagem(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-06) Figueiredo, Mirela de Oliveira; Emmel, Maria Luisa Guillaumon; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3660487766535040The students with learning difficulties have failures in integrating perceptual, memory, thought, language, in one or more aspects of self-regulation of learning and does not have and/or making use of appropriate and active repertoire of skills for learning. These students have as a consequence a limitation or impediment for learning reading, writing, arithmetic and social skills. The causes for these difficulties are related to the subject learning and physical and/or social environment of school and/or family. The objectives of this study were develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention for students with learning difficulties enrolled in primary municipal school. This study adopted the quasi-experimental design of the type pre-and post-test. Instruments were applied Motor Development Scale (EDM), Competency Test Reading Words and Pseudowords (TCLPP) and two checklists elaborated for assess aspects of learning, self-regulation, behavioral and emotional in students aged 7-8 years. The students were nominated by teachers and had scores below average in the indicated tests. From the results was prepared an intervention plan consisting of the reading of the book Trick of the Yellow and activities that stimulate the skills required for the acquisition and development of self-regulated learning. The materialisation of the intervention lasted 4 months, students are assessed before, during and at the end of the intervention. The JT Method was adopted for data analysis and verification of occurrence of positive changes reliable and clinically relevant. The results indicate the occurrence of clinically significant changes in reading, the body schema and spatial orientation in 27 students. There were also positive changes in aspects behavioral, emotional and self-regulatory of these students. Were found and discussed some limitations in Brazilian educational policies directed to students with special educational needs. The results show the effectiveness of the intervention in promoting self-regulatory skills in the psychomotor acquisitions necessary for the development of self-regulated learning and minimizing learning difficulties presented by the students. Finally, the study provides elements that support targeted interventions for students with learning disabilities as well as educational practices. It becomes clear that for effective school inclusion of students with learning difficulties is necessary that the proper educational inclusion policy breaks with the tendency to devote to pupils with disabilities and pass to consider other changes in development also integrate the daily life of children who attend school and are not considered in the universe of "special educational needs".listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A temática evolução nos livros didáticos de biologia utilizados pelas escolas públicas de Araras, SP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-06) Bergamini, Marcela Pagoti; Perinotto, Tiago; Fujihara, Ricardo Toshio; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1863735094370774; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2776-5559; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0465733173308958The Synthetic Theory of Evolution is considered the unifier among all theories in Biological Sciences. Before its description, the contents were fragmented into the so-called Natural History. In this context, the importance of learning for understanding science as a whole becomes evident. However, it is noted that nowadays, the theme “evolution” present in textbooks is often approached in a minimalist way, which can lead students to erroneous conceptions, whether due to lack or even failures in the transposition of content. Therefore, the work aimed to analyze the content on evolution present in Biology textbooks used in the state public education system in the city of Araras, SP, according to the distribution made by the PNLD (Programa Nacional do Livro Didático). The three textbooks used were evaluated, pointing out content errors and factors that influence erroneous conceptions on the part of students based on didactic transposition and, therefore, proposing improvements to this teaching and learning tool. To this end, a theoretical basis was carried out through bibliographical surveys of scientific articles and academic books that address the topic of evolution and, subsequently, a comparative analysis of textbooks, following the criteria: simplification affecting the content, existence of conceptual errors, presence of fragmented concepts and relationship with everyday life. After this analysis, possible misconceptions and factors that influence the assimilation of the content were discussed, so that proposals for improvements could be suggested, to assist in the assimilation of this content by students and teachers.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Determinação e degradação eletroquímica do estrogênio natural estrona usando anodos de diamante dopado com boro(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-06) Brocenschi, Ricardo Francisco; Rocha Filho, Romeu Cardozo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5200717413563550; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4530780432056175Different electrochemical techniques were used to characterize the boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrode and to determine estrone. After parameters optimization, the detection limits obtained using differential pulse voltammetry (0.27 μmol L 1) and square-wave voltammetry (0.096 μmol L 1) with a cathodically pretreated BDD electrode were comparable to values reported in the literature. An even smaller value was obtained when amperometric detection was used with a flow injection system FIA-EC (0.050 μmol L 1), because there is a reduction of capacitive current interferences when a fixed potential is applied, as the continuous flow rate (surface cleaning and mass transport effect). In all cases, the BDD electrode presented a stable response (inter- and intra-day repeatabilities) and different matrices did not have significant influence on the detection of estrone. Consequently, the investigated techniques are promising for this purpose, with excellent accuracy and precision. In the electrochemical degradation of estrone studies in a flow reactor a rapid decay of estrone concentration was attained, due to the high oxidation power of the BDD electrode. This decay is dependent on the studied parameters (current density, flow rate, and pH); best results were attained at pH 3. Intermediate products formed during electrolyses of estrone at different pH (3, 7, and 10) were investigated by LC-MS/MS; thus, inedited (partial) degradation pathways were proposed, aiming at understanding the influence of pH on the generation of intermediates. Finally, electrochemical degradation of estrone at pH 7 using the BDD electrode was compared with the one attained with a β‒PbO2 electrode, also with an inedited mechanistic study.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Influência do ácido aspártico no processo de eletrodeposição de ligas de Cu-Sn-Ni. Avaliação da morfologia, composição, estrutura, adesão e resistência à corrosão dos filmes(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-06) Rubin, Wesley; Carlos, Ivani Aparecida; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1666217445807782; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9595264535185281This research work presents the main results on the development of electrolytic baths with no cyanides for the production of Cu-Sn and Cu-Sn-Ni alloys and also the morphological, chemical and structural characterization of the coatings and also the assessment adhesion and corrosion resistance of the deposits. From the eletrolytic solutions, it was found that for the production of films on both substrate steel or Pt, the pH should be low enough, i.e. 1.20, to avoid Sn hydrolysis and also maintain the additive fully protonated. Electroanalytical studies were conducted looking for the best deposition conditions for obtaining high quality films both on Pt and steel substrates. The influence of the deposition potential or current and the charge deposition and the effect of the additive on the characteristics of the films were analyzed. The voltammetric curves indicated that the Hasp do not influence significantly the thermodynamics of the deposition process regardless the substrate. Only, the presence of the additive led to lower Ni content in the coatings. In general, the films were dendritic and spongy, regardless of the type of deposition, substrate or the presence of Hasp. The electrodeposits phase composition is influenced by the Hasp only on Pt substrate. The phase composition for those produced on steel, without or with the additive exhibited different phases in comparision wiht those produced on Pt. In relation to the Cu-Sn-Ni deposits adherence on steel substrate, in general, they had regular grip, except deposits A_05, B_05 e A_35 which were more adherent than others. The corrosion studies showed that the performance of Cu-Sn and Cu-Sn-Ni coatings were similar. The corrosion potentials were in the range of - 661 ± 27 mV and -777 ± 73 mV, which were less negative than the Ecor of steel substrate (-759 ± 12). Furthermore, Rp values of deposits were also higher than for steel substrate and thus it can be inferred that the films produced provide good corrosion resistance. The alkaline Cu-Ni-Sn solutions were not stable and produce some metal compounds as precipitates, which were washed, dried, homogenized and characterized. It was found the possibility to use them for powder metallurgy for Cu-Sn-Ni alloys.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Correlação entre morfologia, percolação elétrica e propriedades mecânicas de compósitos da blenda PLA/PBS com grafite expandido(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-06) Sousa, Daniel Eurico Salvador de; Lucas, Alessandra de Almeida; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9754332336954137; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5035028318043763In recent years, researchers from industry and universities have focused their interests in polymer nanocomposites, especially in multifunctional composites. The composites made from nano expanded graphite ( nGE ) can provide to the polymer matrix an innovative balance of structural, electrical and thermal conductivity, electromagnetic shielding and improved barrier and wear resistance properties. The increasing demand of using biodegradable polymers, such as poly (lactic acid ) (PLA ) and its blends with poly ( butylene succinate) (PBS), in packages of short lifespan with low resistivity requirements, motivated this work. Nanocomposites of nGE with PLA and PLA / PBS blends were evaluated on the effects of conductive nanofiller content and processing methods in their rheological, mechanical, and electrical properties, in order to correlate and possibly control the formation of the percolation network. The nanographite had a major mechanical reinforcement effect in of the composite with PLA / PBS, increasing all tensile properties. Through microstructural analysis, it was was observed the selective localization of graphite particles in PLA, forming a percolated co-continuous phase with PBS phase. This phenomenon was identified as double percolation, result of the preferential nGE gelation in PLA by the processes of coalescence of PBS and possible crystallization of polymers in the blend. The PLA composites remained resistive, since the nGE particles homogeneous dispersion was maintained. The lowest resistivities were found in the samples of the blend processed by compression moulding, more favorable process for the formation of the electrical percolation network through the mechanisms mentioned above. The coalescence of PBS phase proved to be determinant for the electrical percolation.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Propriedades psicométricas do inventário de habilidades de enfrentamento para a abstinência de álcool e outras drogas (IDHEA-AD)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-09) Sá, Lucas Guimarães Cardoso de; Del Prette, Zilda Aparecida Pereira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8113238388739093; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8479886684573199The objective of this study was to construct and analyze the psychometric properties of an instrument capable of assessing the anticipatory coping skills for abstinence from substances. For the elaboration of items, 18 classes of the anticipatory coping skills as described in literature and obtained from interviews with people in abstinence from substances have been selected. Each one was described and subclasses, that could represent it, were drafted in the form of 92 items. After a semantic analysis and evidences of content validity made by referees, the instrument contains now 68 items. This version was submitted to tests to check application procedures and interpretation of responses, therefore another item was deleted, with others being rewritten. The instrument with 67 items was named Inventory of Anticipatory Coping Skills Inventory for the Abstinence from Alcohol and Other Drugs (IDHEA-AD, as in portuguese). To check evidences of its internal structure validity, it was subjected to Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). The samples for this stage were 422 people in treatment for alcohol or crack cocaine abuse or dependence. The data obtained were considered adequate for performing factorial analysis, with KMO index of 0.88 and significant Bartlett sphericity test (χ ² = 9032.1, p < 0.001). The Maximum Likelihood method of extraction was used with Promax rotation and variables with factorial loading lower than 0.40 supressed. A structure composed of three factors revealed itself adequate and reliable, with 30 items, Cronbach's alpha of 0.88 and total explained variance of 43.02%. The first factor, named "Assertiveness and planning for high-risk situations of substance use" is composed of 14 items with a Cronbach s alpha of 0.89 and mainly involves refusal skills to the offer of substances. The second, "Expression of positive feelings for abstinence sustenance" is related to ability to demonstrate affection, which contributes to the development of less stressful social situations. It has eight items and Cronbach s alpha of 0.83. Finally, the third factor "Emotional self-control facing adverse situations" involves mainly the self-control of anger, has eight items and Cronbach s alpha of 0.77. This structure also showed good evidence of convergent validity by construct-related (self-efficacy for abstinence), concurrent criterion validity (with level of involvement with the substance and abstinence length), reliability for temporal stability and reliability by consistency in relation to the content. Furthermore, as expected, it was observed that variables such as gender, educational level and type of consumed substance seem not to affect the obtained results. When using the instrument to characterize the repertoire of coping skills in substance dependents or abusers, only abstinence length has proved to be a critical variable. A longer abstinence is related to a higher repertoire of anticipatory coping skills. All results indicate the quality of the IDHEA-AD, which allows the proceeding of the investigation in order to meet the requirements set by the Federal Council of Psychology, so it can be used by professionals in the clinical evaluation.
