listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Um discurso sobre as atuais configurações familiares em filmes de Almodóvar(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-10) Malvestio, Eliana Mantovani; Gaspar, Nádea Regina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4952307421175266; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1180644194949275This research aims to understand the function of the subject feminine at some films of Pedro Almodóvar. In order to do that, this research uses the archaeological theory of Michel Foucault (2012) and his understanding about statement , discursive meaning and archive . This research exposes aspects of this theoretical route to deal with the initial issues: what to elect in the analysis of a filmic collection, since the women are present in almost of the totality of the director‟s work? How to select and relate the filmic scenes and sequences in this universe of images in movement? In this sense, in the universe of twenty movies of Almodóvar, three of them were selected for this analysis: All about my mother (1999), Talk to her (2002) and Volver (2006). As a result, a constant speech that permeates all his work was identified: the practice among female subjects of taking care of their family . This statement, although it seems common, become astonishing in the movies of this director, because it‟s related to the construction of a speech very common nowadays at the Social Science: the new familiar formations derivative from the practices of female care .listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Aplicação da abordagem lean no processo de desenvolvimento de produto em empresas industriais brasileiras(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-10) Pinheiro, Larissa Maria Prisco; Toledo, José Carlos de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9421627326330417; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3638190350308432Given the movement of national and international competitions, the fast technological advances, the reduction in life cycle of products on the market and greater demands for quality and services associated with products, product development has established itself as one of the business processes key to the growth and survival of businesses of various industrial sectors and has, over the years, becoming a powerful source of competitiveness for companies from various sectors. Toyota has developed and uses a product development model considered extremely competitive, which helped make it the largest automobile manufacturer in the world. This model is called Lean Development and is a worldwide reference. The model uses lean concepts, derived from Lean Thinking, in the product development process. Studies in international scope are being conducted in order to characterize, evaluate and apply this model in other companies, either automotive market or others different markets. This Thesis presents the results obtained by a survey carried out in manufacturing companies located at Brazil. The population was defined like innovative companies with product development area in the investigated site and with Lean Manufacturing applied for at leats five years. It is presented a descriptive analysis of the companies analyzed and a factorial analysis, which reduces the research variables in four contextual factors of Lean Development. A cluster analysis of the factors identified by the factorial analysis was performed and four groups of companies were founded. The groups were classified in relation to the product development process, according to literature. The results show that 38.2% of surveyed sample applies lean concepts (principles and tools) in both production system and product development process and approximately a half of surveyed sample (46.9%) applies only lean principles in production system, but does not migrate these principles to product development process. However, these last companies are the ones with the best results in product development.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Durabilidade de polietileno em vinhaça quente e fresca em usina de açúcar e álcool(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-10) Buaszczyk, Gianna; Canevarolo Júnior, Sebastião Vicente; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4153664441338178; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4491397405795997Geomembranes are polymeric sheets widely used in vinasse ponds to prevent contamination of soil. Long-term durability is expected, since failure can result in environmental impact. Smooth black commercial geomembranes and injected molded plaques manufactured using different polyethylene resins were exposed to hot and fresh vinasse at an ethanol plant. Mechanical, thermal and structural changes were evaluated along 245 days of exposure to the effluent. Results showed that geomembranes are in the first step of degradation process, when it is observed depletion of antioxidants with no modification of mechanical properties. First stage of service life in hot and fresh vinasse was estimated in 4,3 years for the geomembrane 1 mm thick and 5 years for geomembrane of 2 mm. For the injected molded plaques, service life was estimated in 4,4 up to 6 years for the resins compounded with 2,5% of carbon black. The longer durability was observed for the bimodal metallocene/octene-1 comonomer from Dow Solution polymerization process. Incipient degradation was observed after 153 days, which occurred preferentially in the lower molecular weight by branching. The proposed methodology, based on injected molded plaques and their exposure in the field conditions, was validated to assess the stage of antioxidants depletion of service life of different polyethylene resins.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Aspectos rítmicos do clima de Sorocaba-SP e região(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-10) Sá, Ivan Vasconcelos de Almeida; Silva, Edelci Nunes da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7229161630393268; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2771113750760706The study of climate has gained importance in discussions about environmental changesbeing one of environmental aspects most affected by the anthropic actions. This paper aims to describe the characteristics of the atmospheric elements in Sorocaba - SP and São Miguel Arcanjo - SP, during the years 2010 and 2011. For this purpose was selected three episodes a fall in temperature, and two a sharp decrease in air humidity. Have been used daily data of maximum, average and minimum air temperature, relative air humidity, wind speed and precipitation volume of conventional and automatic weather stations of the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET). The data analysis have been made from the rhythmic methodology developed by Monteiro (1971). Beyond the elaboration of the graphics synoptic maps were used to identify the field of atmospheric pressure and active systems to 12:00 GMT on the daily scale. Six didactic collections were also analyzed to identify as climate is studied in secondary school. Has been possible to observe variations on the elements between country and city, especially at medium and minimum temperatures and humidity, which is always superior in rural areas, except when the humidity fell abruptly. Already in didactic collections, it has been observed these are still working with the most traditional methodology considering the static notion of climate.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Diferentes respostas à alternagina-c, uma proteína tipo desintegrina, em fibroblastos, células tumorais de mama e células endoteliais in vitro(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-10) Santos, Lívia Mara; Araújo, Heloísa Sobreiro Selistre de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4065824911933203; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3369649778303435Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are key factors in tumor progression that allow tumor cells to modify the extracellular matrix (ECM) and to release cytokines, growth factors being activated by cell surface molecules such as the integrins. Integrins are major adhesion receptors of cell surface that connect the cells to the external environment enabling its movement. Integrins activate signaling cascades that influence the adhesion, survival and cell proliferation. Important inhibitors of these molecules were found in snake venoms called disintegrins. Alternagin-C (ALT-C) a disintegrin from Rhinocerophis alternatus snake venom has affinity with α2β1 integrin therfore modulating cell adhesion, migration and proliferation. However, the effect of ALT-C on MMP activity has not been described yet. Here, we have found that, ALT-C increased cell migration in MDA-MB-231 at lower concentration (10 nM) and it decreased cell migration at higher concentrations (40, 100 and 1000 nM). ALT-C was able to inhibit MMP-9 activity in human breast cancer (MDA-MB-231) conditioned medium and MMP-2 activity in fibroblastas and human microvascular endothelial cells (HMEC-1) conditioned medium. ALT-C also modulated the expression of angiogenic genes such as VEGF, c-MYC, MMP-2 and MMP-9 and it was able to inhibit transendothelial migration of MDA-MB-231 cells at all concentrations (10, 40, 100 and 1000 nM). In conclusion, ALT-C affects the extracellular matrix remodeling by modulating the activity of MMPs and expression of angiogenic genes essential for tumor growth as well as decreased cell migration.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Eu não disse isso: uma análise do funcionamento da autoria nas mensagens compartilhadas de Caio Fernando Abreu e Clarice Lispector no facebook(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-10) Rosin, Pâmela da Silva; Garcia, Débora Cristina Ferreira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9543900997020605; Ferreira, Luzmara Curcino; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4849994635754652; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5846619832430283In this term paper, we describe and analyze more systematically the questions that came up from the research project Práticas de escrita e de leitura na rede: uma análise das mensagens compartilhadas e dos procedimentos de sua formulação linguístico-discursivas, developed during our graduation, in which we study a kind of peculiar and current text, which presents itself as "phrases", some taken from literary works, which are to circulate autonomously in social networking pages, in particular, on Facebook. This operation (production, circulation and reception) implies certain changes in the practices of writing and reading today. Regarding this and its autonomous functioning and its particular characteristics, we classified these as shared messages. These are highlighted statements, especially of literary works, which are selected, adapted , added images , which have the effect of modifying to some extent the "meaning" of these statements . These messages are posted by the users on their personal pages or murals friends and even in communities or pages. To select these messages we use the homepage O Mundo de Caio Fernanado Abreu e Clarice Lispector that functions as a repository of shared messages of these two contemporary authors. In the course of our analysis in scientific research, one of the changes in which we are faced, and which we focus in this term paper, is relative to the operation of authorship in the composition of such messages. Several procedures for assigning authorship we see being employed in these shared messages, such as the mistaken attribution of authorship, the use of phrases in the source texts that would not necessarily part of the "work " of an author (interviews and letters), the attribution of authorship to the entire message and not just the phrase taken from the work of one author, etc. To identify this specific operation of authorship , for our analysis, we adopted as a research resource not only shared messages , but also the lifting of comments from readers who recognize the authorship, misattribution criticize, evaluate the text according to another scheme reception (not as a literary work , but as self-help ). For our analysis, we rely on theoretical principles of Discourse Analysis and Cultural History of Reading, based on both theories argue about the changes in the forms of production and circulation of texts. With our work we hope to contribute to the research on the practices of writing and reading today, so we raise some evidence of this new reader/author who emerges with the new digital technologies.
