listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Produção científica em Sociologia da Educação: estudo bibliométrico do Banco de Teses da Capes(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-12) Silva, Rosemary Cristina da; Hayashi, Maria Cristina Piumbato Innocentini; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5606691763426294The present research proposes to conduct a study on the field of Sociology of Education as presented in the theses and dissertations available in the CAPES Theses Database from the period from 1987 to 2011, based on bibliometric and scientometric approaches, in order to obtain a theoretical reflection on the field of Sociology of Education in Brazil that unfolds in the identification of: prime research topics in the field of Sociology of Education; aspects of sociological theory; the most influential authors and theoretical frameworks of reference in Sociology of Education. The data source was the CAPES Theses Database with contributions from BDTD/IBICT, the public domain and the digital libraries available for raw text access. The methodology was developed in four phases comprised of: construction of a theoretical reference; data collection in the CAPES Theses Database, BDTD, Public Domain Portal, description and categorization of survey data utilizing automated tools (the software programs Vantage Point and Excel) for the organization of the results obtained and subsequent analysis and interpretation. The chosen design consisted of two studies: Study 1: Bibliometric analysis of dissertations and theses in Sociology of Education with the aim of reporting the state of the art of the scientific production in this area; Study 2: Analysis of reference citations in light of theoretical approaches in Sociology of Education and Information Science, signifying the importance of combining different methodological perspectives to explore the same study object. In Study 1, we present the following results: the production of theses of dissertation occurred at some moments in an oscillating manner, but the increase was gradual throughout the studied period. The works at the Master s level predominated with 71% of the recovered records. With respect to distribution by institution and region, both indicators were found to be concentrated in the southeast region, that is, UFMG, PUC-SP and PUC-RIO were the most frequent institutions confirming the representativeness of this region in the national research. As to the administrative nature of the institutions, the Federal and Private institutions were predominant. The graduate programs that have most researched this topic indicate Education and Sociology given that Sociology of Education is the scientific field that has maintained historic relations with these areas. The most frequent theme is Education, followed by Sociology of Education. The Research Instigating Agencies that fund the most research studies are Capes and CNPq. The studies that did not receive financing correspond to 51% of the total, which indicates that these researchers are participating in the labor market. The female gender is present in 72% of the authorial credits in the dissertations and theses, confirming that women tend to predominate in the Human Sciences. Study 2 corresponds to the analysis of citations of books and chapters appearing in the theses and dissertations. The results show that in relation to the contemporaneousness of sources, the author shave relied on relatively recent literature, which can be explained based on the origin of Sociology of Education that, as a distinct field of Sociology, is relatively new; therefore, production in this area also tends to be new. As to book authorship, national and foreign authorial nuclei were identified. The most cited authors of the national nucleus are Maria Alice Nogueira, Paulo Freire, Florestan Fernandes and Demerval Saviani. The most cited in the foreign nucleus were Pierre Bourdieu, Émile Durkheim, Jean-Claude Passeron, Bernard Lahire and Michel Foucault. The most cited book title was A reproduction: elements for a teaching system theory , authored by Pierre Bourdieu and Jean-Claude Passeron. As to language indicators for the books and chapters, Portuguese predominated in the two sources. The editors of the books and chapters cited indicated Editor Voices as predominant in the most cited publications. In reference to authorship of book chapters, Pierre Bourdieu was the author of the majority of chapters cited. The indicator on authorship of books that integrate the chapters of books identified Maria Alice Nogueira as the most frequent author. The most mentioned chapter title was The conservative school: the inequalities facing the school and the culture, and is authored by Pierre Bourdieu; the books that integrate the book chapters presented the title Escritos de Educação (Writings from Education), organized by Maria Alice Nogueira and Afrânio Catani as the most cited. The data resulting from the three authorship indicators (authorship of books, authorship of chapters and authorship of books that integrate the chapters) constitute the research front found to be identified by 21 authors, 15 of whom are Brazilian and six foreign, that constitute the principle theoreticians and researchers that contribute to the theoretical underpinning that sustains the development of research studies in Sociology of Education in the production of theses and dissertations in Brazil. Through citation analysis, it was highlighted that the bourdieusian approaches are most often utilized as a theoretical referential in Sociology of Education theses and dissertations. The studies presented here in indicate the most influential authors and theoretical frameworks of reference utilized by the authors of theses and dissertations to support their research Sociology of Education and how they configure the national graduates cenario in Brazil.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Subsídios para a história da educação no Brasil: um estudo da revista do Instituto Histórico e Geográfico de São Paulo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-12) Pereira, Maria Aparecida; Ferreira Junior, Amarilio; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0748545841167046; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8232009684516961This thesis aims to analyze the contributions of the Journal of the Institute of History and Geography of São Paulo (RIHGSP) for history of Brazilian education through an analysis of articles published in this journal between 1895 and 2004. The motivation for the study came from the fact that despite the importance of Geographical and Historical Institutes for national historiography, which can be proven by numerous academic studies conducted, there is a gap in the historiography of Brazilian education regarding the use of these journals institutes as primary sources for the history of education. Therefore, this thesis aims to answer the following research question: what are the contributions of RIHGSP for the History of Education in Brazil? The justification for this research is grounded in the understanding that the study of scientific production in the pages of this magazine is relevant to the reconstruction of their own national historiography and to demonstrate the role that information sources play in dissemination of information and the development of the research scientific education. Thus , the main objective of the research was to highlight the contributions of RIHGSP to the historiography of Brazilian education , and the specific objectives were : a) outline a historical overview of Geographical and Historical Institutes in national and world stage standing in this context the History Institute and Geography of São Paulo , b ) describe the main features of the Journal of the Historical and Geographical Institute of São Paulo ( RIHGSP) c ) analyze this scientific production according to bibliometric parameters of authorship, thematic and temporal distribution; d) conduct a content analysis of a selected sample of 20 articles RIHGSP related to the theme of the history of education. From the methodological point of view the research was characterized as an exploratory and descriptive study. The analytical approaches were supported in the bibliometric analysis and content analysis and involved the following steps: literature review, collection, organization and systematization of data and analysis and interpretation of results. Thus, it was possible to obtain scientific evidence to demonstrate that the texts published in RIHGSP, are key to the history and historiography of Brazilian education, because they allow understanding how the literate elite - represented by intellectuals who publish articles in this journal - thought education Brazilian.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Vaga-lumes bioindicadores de poluição luminosa e riqueza de espécies em áreas naturais da Serra de Paranapiacaba e em áreas urbanizadas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-12) Santos, Raphael Machado; Viviani, Vadim; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3942043373510668; Schlindwein, Marcelo Nivert; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9690898537150950; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2181364544149020; Rosa, Simone Policena; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6838107581125201; Ferreira Filho, Pedro José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3952696627229150Bioluminescent beetles are common for their wide distribution in the world, but the composition of the fauna of these organisms is still unknown to most of the areas where they occur. Brazil is the country with the largest number of cataloged species of bioluminescent insects, but studies of faunal surveys, which allow observing the composition of the assemblies of these insects, with the aim of monitoring impacts in natural areas has only recently been realized. The present study focuses on the artificial night lighting as a possible impact on assemblies of bioluminescent beetles. To the knowledge of the fauna of luminous beetles in the State of São Paulo, surveys were conducted by sampling at three sites of the Atlantic Forest in the SA of Paranapiacaba. The species found were: Aspisoma lineatum, Aspisoma physionotum, Aspisoma sp., Cratomorphus beskei, Cratomorphus giganteus, Photinoides penai, Photinus sp1, Photinus sp9, Ethra aff. malledicta ou axilaris, Ethra aff. adicta, Cladodes demoulini, Cladodes flabelicornis, Amydetes sp., Bicellonycha sp., Bicellonycha sp8, Pyrogaster lunifer, Pyrogaster moestus, Pyrogaster sp3 ref. (PORTO, 2011), Photuris elliptica, Photuris sp1, Photuris sp7 Stenophrixotrix sp1, Brasilocerus sp1, Phrixotrix hirtus, Pseudophengodes sp1, Hapsodrilus pyrotis, Pyroptesis cincticollis, Ptesiomopsia luculenta, Pyrearinus candelarius, Pyrearinus micatus e Pyrophorus divergens. The investigated area in SA Paranapiacaba has the second highest species richness of bioluminescent insects of the state of São Paulo until now. From the cluster analysis was done with the data obtained in the field and published data to categorize areas as more and less urbanized was possible to deduce a dependence relationship between species and area in which they can occur. Like other studies, lower richness of bioluminescent beetles in more urbanized areas was observed, we chose a species to investigate the possible effects of artificial lighting. For the study we used the method of counting grid in two similar areas, where only one had artificial lighting. Was possible to compare the data obtained from the two sites with randomization of the same data through a robust non-parametric test, thereby we verified that the sample populations showed no number of different occurrences, the p value is not significant (t=1,780787, R=5000, P=0,059988). We conclude that Bicellonycha lividipennis is not sensitive to ligth of sodium vapor lamps. So this species is not a good indicator species to light pollution for this type of light source. The bioluminescence spectra and the sodium light were superimposed; a possible explanation for that B. lividipennis is not sensitive to light sodium is the activity of the species which is relatively early when there is still strong lighting of twilight.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O fornecimento de cana-de-açúcar para usina e a diversificação produtiva no assentamento Ibitiúva no município de Pitangueiras - SP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-12) Amorim, Fernando Rodrigues de; Beskow, Paulo Roberto; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5370208348544496; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6222228179918861This study aimed at analyzing the productive dynamics of the Ibitiúva Rural Settlement (Ibitiúva State Settlement) located in the municipality of Pitangueiras, São Paulo, Brazil, and characterized by a production system based on supplying sugar cane to the processing station from the majority of the settled producers. The work presented the following specific objectives in its investigation: causes which lead the producers to leasing their lands to supply sugar cane to the processing station; history of the producers lives and their perspectives regarding the future of this sugar cane supplying system; alternatives for new sustainable production arrangements for the settled, meeting the environmental, social and economic criteria, from an alternative system based on the diversity of rural production in contrast to sugar cane monoculture, grounded on associative activities between the associates, with the objective of increasing their autonomy in relation to other power instances; insufficiency of municipal public politics focused on the rural settlements by the municipality of Pitangueiras. For a better understanding of this system based on supplying agricultural raw material by the settled for a sugar producing agroindustrial unit, we performed an analysis of general economic context, comprehending the following subjects: the Complexo Rural ao Agroindustrial; Green Revolution; the Agrarian Reform and the formation of settlements in Brazil; Agricultural, Rural and Local Development; and Economic Politics destined to Agriculture. Subsequently, the study analyzed the main characteristics of the Ibitiúva Rural Settlement, highlighting its formation, origin of the settled and its socio-economic characteristics. Furthermore, the study analyzed the conditions in which the food production activities for self-consumption and commercialization are performed, which are secondary in regard to the planting system for supplying the processing station. Finally, the research investigated the main characteristics of this supplying system, highlighting its environmental, social and economic limitations through the contrast represented by their debatable monetary gains for the settled suppliers in contrast to an alternative of agriculture based on food diversity and associative production and commertialization structures.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Imagens de si e da sala de recursos multifuncionais em blogs de professores especializados(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2013-12-12) Rios, Gabriela Alias; Mendes, Enicéia Gonçalves; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1920587162141670The work developed by specialized teachers, in Multifunctional Resource Rooms with students of special education is still unknown. The Multifunctional Resource Rooms are being implemented in public schools throughout Brazil. In order to produce knowledge about this topic, we investigated what specialized teachers who work at Multifunctional Resource Rooms publish on their blogs about the work performed in these rooms, and the experiences related to this service. Blogs were chosen as the data source, as blogs allow the common citizen to be a participative witness, in other words, people can publish texts without an editor. In this perspective, the problem of this study is configured from the following questions: Considering the Public Policies are recent, what have the specialized teachers published about specialized educational service on the internet? What is their perception considering this service? Is it possible to find out the practices of these teachers through blogs? This research aimed to describe and analyze through Text Semiotics what teachers who work with special education publish on their personal blogs and how they construct images of themselves and of the multifunctional resource rooms. The specific objectives were (a) identify on the teacher‟s discourse the experiences which have been evidenced in the educational specialized services; (b) analyze how are the practices directed to the issue of inclusive education in Brazilian education, in multifunctional resource rooms. Tem texts written by Brazilian specialized teachers were analyzed from the discursive level of Text Semiotics. The following categories were analyzed: space described in the text; actors and actants , time of enunciation; figures (concrete elements on the text ) and themes (abstract elements inferred from the figures). It was concluded that the image constructed by these teachers is hero and agents of change of multifunctional resource rooms, as this service depends on their actions to work. From the signs which are on the teacher‟s discourse, it is observed that they have internalized the policies discourse, and the teaching work in multifunctional resource rooms is predominantly focused on the student.
