listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Publicações nacionais sobre CALL e outras tecnologias no ensino e aprendizagem de línguas estrangeiras : um olhar na segunda década do século XXI(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-04-17) Guedes, Roberta de Oliveira; Augusto-Navarro, Eliane Hercules; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5716027350340906; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3550330854095084Among the various human activities, it is possible to observe the presence and the use of technologies in different situations of daily life, such as at work, in schools, at family times and leisure (SANTOS, 2013, MIRANDA, 2013, REIS, 2010). However, there is a shortage of research on CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning), technology and teaching and learning of Foreign Languages (REIS, 2010). Based on this scenario and on government initiatives, institutions such as UNESCO and universities that develop research on technology in several areas, we propose the development of this work that aims to discuss the publications in national academic journals, classified with QUALIS A (AI and A2) in Language/ Linguistics area. Our analysis comprehends the years 2010-2014. These publications are evaluated by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), recognized as a reliable reference by the researchers in identifying national journals (BONINI, 2004). It is, therefore, a study that selects research papers from specific journals as the particular objects being examined, characterizing an instrumental case study, as proposed Stake (1994). From these publications, we analyze the concepts of language, technology, and possible methodologies used, encompassing also the results, limitations and some of the referrals found in order to understand at what stage the research nationally published in the area is. Through data collection and analysis, we identified those publications that have online digital editions of free access and at the same time bring teaching subjects and foreign language learning, CALL and technology as theme in their published papers. Based on the results, we have noticed the incipience of studies in the area, according to the literature in our field of research. Besides, we could verify the presence of various objects that compose the covered studies, the different impacts of technology in language teaching (LT), the need of technological knowledge by the teachers, factors that may be addressed in other investigations, once we experience a national context that seems to require more academic disclosure about this theme.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Análise do Plano Municipal de Gerenciamento Integrado de Resíduos Sólidos de Ourinhos/SP à luz da Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos – Lei 12.305/10(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-04-17) Coletti, Guilherme Luis; Cordeiro, João Sergio; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2572864522562875; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3052870641849702The great dilemma involving solid waste is related to the increase of its generation as well as with the adequate management of its collection, transportation, processing and final disposal, in such a way as to minimize related environmental and urban impacts. Such dilemma has been consuming high levels of human, technological and financial resources, granting the wastes a significant role in the urban sanitation systems. Thus, Brazil has created, by means of Law 12,305, dated as of August 2nd, 2010, the National Policy of Solid Wastes (PNRS) pursuing the systematization of the waste management in the country holding liable all the parties involved in the life cycle of goods. Among the duties contained therein, the PNRS requires the City Halls to prepare a Municipal Plan for Integrated Management of Solid Wastes, which shall present the minimum content to be implemented in this regard. In this way, this paperwork has the purpose to review the Municipal Plan for Integrated Management of Solid Wastes of the City Ourinhos/SP (PGIRSO) in light of the requirements made by the PNRS and to compare the propositions of such plan with the actions so far taken by the City Hall of Ourinhos/SP. It is concluded that, although the PGIRSO provides the minimum content to implement improvements in the wastes management, it has not been put into force, turning it into a simple bureaucracy with no enforcement related to the social environmental quality of the municipality.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Valoração de resíduos e subprodutos agroindustriais utilizando reatores anaeróbios em fermentação escura para produção de hidrogênio, etanol e ácidos orgânicos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-04-17) Lopes, Helberth Júnnior Santos; Silva, Edson Luiz; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9720274214573371; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4609700303066477The aim of this work was to evaluate hydrogen, ethanol and organic acids productions from several substrate, including, agribusiness byproducts, such as cheese whey, hydrolyzed cellulose and crude glycerol, and simple substrates, such as glucose and xylose. Three continuous reactors were operated. A thermophilic Anaerobic Fluidized Bed Reactor (AFBR), denominated R1, was operated to evaluate hydrogen production from hydrolyzed cellulose. The substrate concentration was 2000mg.L-1 different Hydraulic Retention Times (HRT) ranging from 24 to 6h. Another thermophilic RALF (R2) was used in order to evaluate xylose and glucose co-fermentation to produce hydrogen and ethanol. R2 was operated with HRT starting in 16 h and decreased to 1 h. The substrates concentration was 2000mg.L-1 of each carbohydrate. Hydrogen and propionic acids production was evaluated in Expanded Granular Sludge Bed (ESGB) reactor, operating with Cheese Whey (CW) and Crude Glycerol (CG) co-fermentation in several ratios: 5:1, 5:2, 5:3, 5:4 and 5:5 (m/m) and decreasing HRT from 8 to 0.5h. For R1, maximum yield was 1.1 mol H2.mol-1 glucose, obtained in HRT of 8h. In R2, the consumption of both substrates was verified. However, glucose consumption was higher than xylose. Maximum hydrogen yield, 0,401 mol H2 mol-1 glucose equivalent was achieved in HRT of 16h. Maximum ethanol yield, 0,25mol EtOH.mol- 1glicoseequivalent, occurred in 0.5h HRT. The EGSB reactor maximum hydrogen yield, 0,120 mmol.g-1DQO, was obtained using a 5:1 CW/RG ratio and HRT of 8h. Maximum propionic acid, 0,99g.g-1substrate, was also verified in HRT of 8h, however, with a 5:3 CW/CG ratio. At the end of the work it was made comparison of three reactors. Toward the hydrogen yield the greatest result was obtained by R1 with the value of 2,02 mmolH2.g-1DQO applied, this result occurred in HRT of 8h. In relation to energy efficiency the highest value was observed in R2, 47kJ.h-1.L-1, obtained in HRT of 0,5h.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Construção de sistema eletroquímico com eletrodo circular para síntese de Polímeros Intrinsecamente Condutores: PIC's(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-04-17) Santos, Fábio Cândido dos; Leite, Fábio de Lima; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5490031389817518; Menezes, Aparecido Junior de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1677697598780051This work involves the construction of a portable equipment device for electrochemical polymerization of an Intrinsically Conductive Polymer - PIC. Using a rotary circular electrode, this method’all allows the production of various polymers especialy PIC's parameterize, controlling and monitoring all the process, so that a polymer can be prepared with maximum efficiency. As it is a portable equipment, it is possible to share with the universities labs and research centers that are working with conductive polymers and or other tips of polymers with can be inter interested in electrochemical synthesis. Using this method, you can ensuring the well contours specified parameters, the produced quantity for the preparation of the tests are larger, allowing a better characterization of the samples and production of products. The studied Conductive Polymer for the qualification of portable equipment was Polyaniline "PAni", this was characterized by the Fourier transform infrared region - FTIR, scanning electron microscopy – SEM, spectroscopy ultraviolet and Visible - UVVIS, thermogravimetric analysis – TGA, analysis by cyclic voltammetric and conductivity volumetric by the method at two tips.
