listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, As luzes d’A Lanterna : iluminismo educacional e educação anarquista em edições de um jornal libertário paulistano(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-05-28) Marconi, Juliana Guedes dos Santos; Hayashi, Carlos Roberto Massao; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9136586124586219; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1211465586013614The anarchist movement, contemporary to the Enlightenment, has the press like one of its main dissemination tools, advertising and expression. This type of literature that integrates the reference of educational research without, however, represent the main source. Educational Enlightenment, in turn, is traditionally studied from the written of authors who did not represent the workers expropriated by capital. That said, relying on documentary analysis methodology, the research presented here aims to: demonstrate the proximity of the two strands of thought (anarchist and Enlightenment); and verify the presence of the ideals of the Enlightenment that permeate the texts of productions that circulated among workers, especially the libertarian journal A Lanterna, published in São Paulo in the early twentieth century. Such ideals are represented in this research, the categories: Society, Inequality & Freedom; Education, Religion, Science & Rationality; and Women & School Education - identified during the readings issues discussed by both strands of thought (anarchist and Enlightenment). During the following text, are exposed proximities between the ideals analyzed, after all, it was found that, saved the ideal society concept differences, the study authors looked for transform society, weaving criticism of the government of their times and electing education as an important tool of emancipation and achievement targets transformations. We were also able to identify ideals of the Enlightenment in the publications analyzed of libertarian newspaper A Lanterna. It is also expected to provide an expansion of research sources, allowing the libertarian press can also contribute to the research on the educational enlightenment.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Avaliação da participação dos receptores N-metil-D-aspartato (NMDA) e do Fator de Liberação de Corticotropina (CRF) nos efeitos aversivos do óxido nítrico no núcleo intersticial da estria terminal de camundongos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-05-28) Faria, Matheus Pegoraro; Souza, Ricardo Luiz Nunes de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2475842684688693; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6963155336375529It has been shown that the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BNST) of rats contains nitrergic neurons, which are activated during animal exposure to aversive stimuli. BNST is also populated by glutamatergic and corticotrophin releasing factor (CRFergic) neurons, which in turn, are also activated under stressful situations. Here we investigated the anxiogenic-like effects of intra-BNST injections of a nitric oxide (NO) donor, NOC-9, in mice. The role of CRFergic and glutamatergic systems on defensive behavior induced by NOC-9 was investigated with previous intra-BNST infusion of CP376395 (0, 0.75, 1.50 or 3.00 nmol), a CRF type 1 receptor antagonist (CRF1), or AP-7 (0, 0.05, 0.10 or 0.20 nmol), a NMDA receptor antagonist, respectively. Defensive behavior was assessed immediately and 5 minutes after intra-BNST drug injection, exposing mice to an arena (a neutral situation) and to the elevated plus-maze (EPM; an anxiogenic situation), respectively. Results showed that NOC-9 (all doses) provoked immobility assessed in the arena and increased anxiety in the EPM (e.g., decrease in the percentage of open-arm exploration). Despite failing to produce effects on basal levels of anxiety when injected alone (all doses), pretreatment with CP (3.00 nmol) prevented the anxiogenic-like effect of NOC-9 (75.00 nmol) without changing the immobility behavior. Pretreatment with AP-7 (0.05 nmol) produced similar effects, however, when injected alone 0.20 nmol AP-7 attenuated anxiety-like behavior. These results suggest that the CRF1 and NMDA receptors located within the BNST differentially modulate the aversive effects induced by NO production in this limbic forebrain structure.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O documentário de Paulo Gil Soares na Caravana Farkas : vozes, personagens e cultura popular(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-05-28) Cury, Joyce Felipe; Paiva, Samuel José Holanda de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7222933274927263; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9910156685854542This research takes a look at the eight documentaries directed by Paulo Gil Soares between 1960 and 1970 in the experience that became known today as Caravana Farkas, all of them made in northeastern Brazil: Memória do cangaço (1965), Erva Bruxa (1969-70), A morte do boi (1970), A mão do homem (1969-70), Jaramataia (1970), O homem de couro (1969-70), Vaquejada (1970) e Frei Damião: trombeta dos aflitos, martelo dos hereges (1970). It´s about short and medium-length films that were inserted in a project which had the intention to “bring Brazil to the Brazilians” – in vogue in the context of the Cinema Novo – and it was attended by filmmakers who experienced a very singular production, in which it is perceived a share political views and, especially, aesthetics and thematic options in the documentary field. By trying to step away from the generalization about that experience, which is sometimes present the literature on Brazilian cinema, we will point out the distinctive features of the eight Paulo Gil Soares movies. It's our purpose to outline the features of this filmmaker's "voice" in Caravana Farkas and thus differentiate him from other directors of the same experience. For this purpose, in the filmic analysis that follow, we will focus in three relevant aspects to the aesthetic and discursive constructions of his documentaries: the activated voices, the way the characters are portrayed and the appropriation from folk culture.
