listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Proposta de um minicurso de Astronomia para alunos do Ensino Fundamental II(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Pesquero, Lucas Canevarolo; Rojas, Gustavo de Araújo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8950200416337192; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3064195156214520In this dissertation, an astronomy workshop is proposed which can be used as preparation for Brazilian Olympics of Astronomy, but whose main goal is to become one more tool for studies in such discipline. Even those who did not attend a specific discipline of astronomy throughout his academic life are able to apply this workshop, because, to each class of the sequence, texts and videos with supplementary information was given, making it accessible to all interested teachers. To justify the need for this teaching sequence, this dissertation starts with a national overview of astronomy education and their main weaknesses, then describes the Brazilian Olympics of Astronomy and its achievements, reports previous workshop experiences to, only at the end, propose a possible activities script.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Um mundo em vários movimentos : uma etnografia sobre futebolistas de base(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Palmiéri, Júlio César Jatobá; Toledo, Luiz Henrique de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5366260223109463; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6711269335520497The theme of this thesis is the youth football. Its practitioners, the youth footballers, are possessed of varying talents, factors that distinguish them in a marketing scale that streamlines the exchange in the football universe. Looking for professional football, they start from the football gift recognized and nurtured by those 8 who surround them, adding many other values, in a practical and symbolic order, which depend on the relationships established within the institutional framework of this sport and that has to do with other players, coaches, directors, supporters, family members, agents and specialized media, but also with all the environment where they live those experiences. We can glimpse, thus, the dynamics of a "sports ecology" approached from a multi-sited perspective where I present part of some meshwork relations that produces surfaces in formation and constant movement and instability, whose relations among the actors are mobilized around what is defined by producing sports talents, commonly stabilized by some categorizations taken here by issues such as projects, professional career and sportive trajectory. The scenario considered is the youth football in Brazil and part of South America (Uruguay and Argentina), between clubs and national teams (under 15 and under 17), seeking to understand how the world of youth footballers is created and reproduced in and out of the pitch.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Foucault, o ethos e o pathos de um pensamento(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Gimbo, Fernando Sepe; Fonseca, Thelma Silveira da Mota Lessa da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2955946094601264; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6905120167516416This dissertation develops a detailed study of the idea of critique in Foucault’s works. To this end, three key points are widely developed : ( 1) the problem of a " history of truth " ; ( 2 ) understand the importance and uniqueness of Foucault’s use of history in philosophical reflection as a way to critique the theme of origin; ( 3 ) define the reading and the use of Foucault 's modern idea of critique. Thus , we draw an interpretation of Foucault's thought that foregrounds his project of a "critical history of thought .listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Mulher no volante, perigo constante? Um estudo sobre trabalhadoras no transporte coletivo por ônibus no interior paulista(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Celestini, Sarah; Lima, Jacob Carlos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9244132532446607; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7975409015122396This research aimed to study the work of women in public transportation by bus, specifically those that hold positions of drivers and collectors in two companies in the cities of Araraquara and São Carlos, São Paulo. The general objective was to analyze the work of these women in a predominantly male environment and check the sociability of those working in this environment, and the ways how they deal with it in their daily lives. For the research, documentary sources, observations of work on buses, terminals were used and 12 in-deep interviews were applied with the workers of these companies. The relation between workers and the company was obtained that there is no differentiation between men and women, occurring only differentiation between the posts, however the working underscore the need for drivers to have to be sure of themselves and prove they are as capable as men run driving the bus. Colleagues, workers claim that the relationship is positive and in some situations should "take a joke" what they say. The "take a joke" was considered here as a self-defense mechanism, as well as the isolation and distrust in this workspace were seen as internal forms of protection to continue carrying out the activities. The presence of the harassment was found, both moral and sexual harassment attempts as well, which again lead them to use the mechanisms available to them, among them the serious and masculine stance to avoid sung. The emotional work was also seen in the activity, being reflected by stress and exhaustion as a result of dealing with passengers, colleagues and look after the house, occurring as a third working day for drivers and collectors.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Jogo da Partilha : relação entre ganho, perda e gênero(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Silva, Fanny Silveira e; Goyos, Antônio Celso de Noronha; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3407008711535651; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8146755380441949The Sharing Game, an economic game, studies behavior involved in resource allocation. The participant faces several trials in which he must choose between two options, both with an amount of resources for him and for other passive participant. In the optimal option the distributor receives more and the receiver even more, and in the non optimal option the distributor receives less and the other even less. From their choice, participants may be classified as optimizers, egalitarians or competitives. This work intends to assess whether and to what extent, distributions of strategies in the Sharing Game are affected by the variables gender distributor and allocation frame (gains or losses). There were the Experimental Conditions Gain-Loss and Loss-Gain, both involving hypothetical money. Data were collected online through the website Survey Monkey (n=427). In an intragroup analysis, there was no difference in the strategies adopted by participants distributing gains and losses. However, a between group analysis showed a significant order exposure effect of the allocation type, that is, if the game started with gains or losses. When comparing the two experimental conditions, the Gain-Loss condition presented an optimized strategy in a higher percentage of participants, and the Loss-Gain condition showed a higher percentage of participants both in the egalitarian and competitive strategies. Significant gender differences were found in the two experimental conditions, since in both of them the optimal strategy showed a higher percentage of men. This study has social and scientific importance by presenting an experimental model to study cooperation and competition. It also contributes for the economic games being more known and used in Psychology and Behavior Analysis. Finally, it provides greater generality to the data which may still be inconclusive regarding gender and the use of gains or losses in economic games.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Sistemática de seleção de servidores para as funções de confiança, baseada na abordagem das competências(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Picolini, Ana Claudia; Amaral, Roniberto Morato do; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6958372164719600; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1403944336972689Aiming to contribute to a process of servants’ selection for rewarded positions (positions of trust) more rational and sustainable in the public context, the general goal of this research was to propose a systematic to the servants’ selection for the positions of trust, according to the competency-based approach. The method used was action-based research and the studied organization was Votuporanga Campus of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo. The results achieved were the development of a systematic to the selection of servants, which included mapping processes of the work, the competencies mapping and the development of a Selection Matrix. From the results obtained and the theoretical discussion it was possible to conclude that the selection systematic proposal may contribute to the selection process rationalization of servants by providing insights according to the competency-based approach. It also minimizes the use of subjective preferences criteria for the position of trust designation, through the establishment of selection mechanisms based on competencies and the servant work situation in positions of trust to be occupied, respecting the appointment and resignation freedom that the law assures to the holder of nominating power.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Estudo multicasos sobre design de produtos na área de tecnologia assistiva(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Soares, Juliana Maria Moreira; Fontes, Andréa Regina Martins; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4848646681792317; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2554279111960637This research was intended to contribute about the understanding of the product development process (PDP) of Assistive Technology (AT), by using a multicases study methodology. The considerations present in this work were made possible through the selection of four case studies , consisting of Assistive Technology brazilian developers, focused on products to the public with physical-motor disabilities. The first case is located in a university center, consisting in a development of a triangular walker for children and teenagers with disabilities (mostly elapsed from cerebral palsy), and it was conducted by a team composed of undergraduates and graduate students, and researchers, at a university in the state of São Paulo (SP ? Brazil). Beside this case is another AT project, which was initiated within doctoral research, conducted by another university of the state of São Paulo, which is in an automated mobility device for wheelchairs. The third case is characterized as a private industry, located in the north-central state of São Paulo, which develops and produces various assistive products for people with multiple types of physical disabilities. The latter approach was made up as an organization of the third sector inserted in TA market, which is a developer of assistive securities, located in Belo Horizonte, capital of Minas Gerais state, Brazil. Understanding the development process of AT product consisted in a primary object of this research, while capture the vision of assistive technology developers about collaboration issues and relations situated in the subjective field of user-product consisted on secondary objectives of this dissertation. This way, the possible influence of collaborative and emotional design in Assistive Technology development processes were then issues discussed by this research, with the intention to outline the perspectives of such approaches in the PDP of assistive product field, in addition to begin the discussion about the need of studies on the issue of product development in this area.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Análise de tensões residuais de juntas soldadas em engrenagens de moenda de cana em aço baixa liga(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Vendramim, Luis Felipe; Afonso, Conrado Ramos Moreira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2176215981291453; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0259010799806350Residual stresses are those which remain in the part when all the external mechanical stress applied previously are removed. These residual stresses often appear in parts subjected to different thermal or mechanical processing along its thickness, among then may be cited the welding process. The objective of this work is the analysis of residual stresses generated by the recovery process for shielded metal arc welding” (SMAW) of sugarcane milling gear in Low Alloy Mild Steel ASTM C-148 for the identification of conditions with lower levels of residual stresses, aiming materials less susceptible to failure and longer service life. A comparative assessment of the levels of residual stresses in the aforementioned samples was performed by opting for performance or nonperformance of pre-heating and heat treatment of stress relieving after the completion of the welds in the field. It will be characterized by metallography and hardness profile. In order to determine the way the macro and microscopic residual stresses non-destructive, it was decided in this work by the diffraction of X-ray method. The characterization was carried out by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and Vickers microhardness. The microstructure present in the base metal was characterized as microconstituent bainite, when there is a stress relieving treatment. When there isn`t such treatment, the microstructure is ferrite / pearlite. Although in the weld metal, due to the electrode composition, the microstructure is acicular ferrite. The Vickers microhardness analysis for the sample without pre-heating gave higher microhardness values along line profile (range of 250 – 325 HV) than the other conditions (range of 150 – 275 HV). Regarding the residual stresses, it can be concluded that the pre-heating and the combination of it with a subsequent heat treatment reduces the levels of both longitudinal and transverse residual stress along the weld bead.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Geração de corrente spin polarizada em heteroestruturas dopadas com impurezas magnéticas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Pereira, Pedro Henrique; Farinas, Paulo Eduardo Fornasari; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0309157540839329; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3188884115548897In this dissertation, the computational modeling of two semiconductor structures composed of two quantum wells was performed, being a quantum well doped with magnetic impurities. Each structure was designed to form a three-level electronic sys- tem, whose energy values favor scattering Lambda when photons affect the structure. This type of scattering consists of the transition of the electron, initially confined at a low energy level, to a higher energy level, with subsequent capture to a lower third energy level than the second. The three levels lie in different confining layers that follow each other along the length of the structure, before an extended region of exit, in which the electron is free to contribute to the photocurrent. The terminology refers to the ”path”made by the electron in a diagram of energy versus position. The elec- tron rises to the highest intermediate level, and instead of being ejected in the second transition, it is recaptured before it can contribute to photocurrent generation. The effect is resonant, to achieve it, two lasers, one of each fixed frequency and another variable are included in the model. The magnetic doping in the second quantum quantum makes its potential dependent on the spin of the electron. Thus, the trap- ping frequency is spin-dependent ie the trapping of the spin component is selective at the frequency of the trapping field. To perform the calculations, the time-dependent Schrdinger equation for the conduction band was solved numerically within the effec- tive mass approximation using the split-operator method. The resonant frequencies were obtained by calculating of the absorption spectrum and also the condition of not allowing the optical transition between each fundamental state of each well was veri- fied. The spectral response of the photocurrent was studied in the resonant regime. It was verified the appearance of an attenuation of the amplitude of the photocurrent with the increase of the intensity of the trapping field, evidencing the phenomenon of the coherent trapping population. The projection of the wave function evolved over time in each eigenstate of the three-level system showed the formation of the dark state. This state is a linear combination of each ground state and its main feature is to block the transition to the higher energy state, leaving the system inert to the electromagnetic field. This proposed heterostructure showed a high degree of spin se- lectivity, thus being a strong candidate for a spin polarized photocurrent generating device.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Estudo teórico de relações entre quiralidade de moléculas confinadas e simetria de cavidades(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Gusmão, Eriosvaldo Florentino; Freitas, Luiz Carlos Gomide; Moura, André Farias de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0746428641961163; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6078169516680977Carbone nanotubes (CNT) have been widely investigated both experimentally and theoretically because their remarkable geometry and physical-chemical properties, in regard especially of their possible applications as either reactors or catalysts of physical and chemical processes. This study computationally investigated the interaction between the symmetry cavity of chiral nanotubes and the symmetry of chiral molecules. It was selected CNT cavities capable of comporting peptides made of twenty amino acids residues or more and the simulations have been performed with CNTpeptide interaction in vacuum and in implicit solvent (water). Simulations of the interaction of CNT cavity with γ-valerolactone (GVL) racemic mixture were also performed, since they made it possible to evaluate the capacity of being enriched with one of the enantiomers beared by the chiral cavity when merged in liquid. The CNT-peptide interaction models demonstrated that there is competition of interactions, and the self-stabilization caused by strong intramolecular forces reduces the capacity of these peptides to interact selectively with the cavity, what makes it difficult to affirm, until present, whether there is or not cavity sensitivity to some of the isomers. Although the CNT-GVL model of energies interaction did not show selectivity capacity, the analysis of the radial distribution functions curves of GVL pairs of isomers in relation to the CNT center of masses and in relation to the CNT atoms truly demonstrate that there is chiral enrichment capacity in the case of these cavities. Generally, it was verified that the chiral recognition and enrichment are stemmed of subtle interactions, therefore there is still the necessity of expanding and deepening these investigations since the CNT are very promising chiral cavities.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Mapeamento das competências dos gestores no processo de gestão de contratos terceirizados : o caso de uma Instituição Federal de Ensino Superior(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Barros, Sandra Oliveira Mayer; Ubeda, Cristina Lourenço; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6696784421924024; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1843623066126572This research aims to conduct mapping of competencies in outsourced contract managers to identify competencies to the process of management of outsourced contracts in a Federal Institution of Higher Education (IFES).Therefore, historically it presents the characteristics of Public Management in Brazil; the definition and context of outsourcing, in addition to detailing the outsourced contract management process. Such conditions influence its final morphologies. When rapid crystallization polymers are injection molded at high shear rates typical morphology exhibit skin-core highly oriented: outer layers and spherulitic cores. The outer layer or skin, crystallization occurs under the influence of flow and it is known as flow-induced crystallization (CIF). This work improved methodology from literature (Spruiell et al) of real-time monitoring of quiescent crystallization kinetics under isothermal and non-isothermal conditions, in addition the evaluation of induced flow crystallization at low shear rates. This study done with conducted to iPP using an optical microscope with polarized light completed with a shear cell and reo-optical signals, in which stimuli in the visible region was applied, which allowed verification of birefringence and scattering light phenomena simultaneously capture images during the crystallization process, for that an accessory using LDR has been developed. The method was compared to the kinetics of crystallization in the differential scanning calorimeter. At the isothermal quiescent crystallization condition six different temperatures were evaluated and it was found that higher temperatures favored for lower growth rates. In non-isothermal quiescent conditions, was found that for higher cooling rates the crystallization induction time was reduced. By applying different shear rates at isothermal conditions, it was found that the increase in shear rate reduced the polymer's crystallization induction time, indicating the influence of the orientation of the polymer chains and increasing the number of crystallization nuclei. The results showed that this methodology has applicability and good quantitative performance; thus the methodology developed could be used for futures analysis of quiescent and shear-induced kinetics crystallization process with real time reo-optical signals.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Educação de surdos em Mato Grosso do Sul : desafios da educação bilíngue e inclusiva(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-08-07) Quiles, Raquel Elizabeth Saes; Lacerda, Cristina Broglia Feitosa de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9468232016416725; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5087255329045797Deaf education, the object of this research, stands today as a field of study that leads to the reflection of school spaces, especially regarding to its form of organization and pedagogical practices in action. Under the scope of Special Education policies, the proposition of the Ministry of Education for deaf education fits into the paradigm of inclusive education, which comprises the common mainstream education as a privileged locus of insertion. On the other hand, which does not necessarily mean the other way, the education of deaf should be discussed in a bilingual proposition, considering the linguistic singularities of deaf people. In the tensions, limits and possibilities between these two educational proposals (inclusive education and bilingual education) lies this work, which aimed to highlight the proposal for deaf education in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul in order to identify its lineation in a polo school for deaf people focusing on bilingual education in the context of inclusive education. The particularity of this research is the experiences of a school reality that addresses itself as bilingual. To achieve the perceptions about this school, as methodological procedures, the analysis of national and state documents comprising the Special Education policy and speeches, through interviews managers, teachers, educational interpreters, students and deaf instructor were used. The data were interpreted, considering the historical-cultural approach, from two main categories: language and enunciation, understood through studies of Vygotsky and Bakhtin. To do so, they were organized through sub-themes that permeate discussions of inclusive education (organization of the Special Education services, socialization and schooling) and bilingual education (bilingual condition of deaf students, school practices of the common classroom and training of the professionals of education). The school searched was not fully inclusive, with many problems in this direction, and neither bilingual at all, since the sign language does not occupy central place in school activities. Fundamentally, it was identified the absence of a collective project involving professionals in the school assistance for deaf students – each professional does what s/he can and how s/he can. In conclusion, the debate on educational proposals that are meaningful for the deaf leads to a (dis)structuring of school spaces toward a proposition that contemplates primarily the sign language. The intersection between inclusive education and bilingual education enables a rethinking of the school aiming its transformation. If the school is bilingual, centralizing sign language in all routes and processes, deaf students are more likely to participate and learn approaching them, in fact, to the assumptions of inclusive education.
