listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Nanopartículas de Fe3O4 funcionalizadas e nanocompósitos de base epóxi(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-12-17) Lima, Bruno Henrique Ramos de; Leite, Edson Roberto; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1025598529469393; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5096229531831897The use of metal oxide nanoparticles in nanocomposite has provided new and interesting properties and is one of the most promising areas in composites. Compatibility between these nanoparticles and polymer matrix is the most critical fator on development of these materials. In this context, this thesis project has focused on study of synthesis and functionalization of magnetite nanoparticles (Fe3O4) aiming its incorporation into bisphenol A based diglycidyl ether based to produce nanocomposites with very high compatibility between dispersed and matrix phases. Synthesis and functionalization of nanoparticles were performed in a single step by thermodecomposition of iron (III) acetylacetonate in poly (1,4- butanediol) with molar weight 1000, which served both as a solvent for the reaction as a source of molecules for surface functionalization of the nanoparticles. Nanoparticles with an average size of 8,4 nm and with high volume fraction of organic layer were obtained and the synthesis was highly reproducible. The produced nanocomposite exhibited high homogeneity of nanoparticles dispersion and the absence of large agglomerates. The interaction between the nanoparticles and matrix occurred through the chemical reaction between the functional groups of the organic layer and the DGEBA, as was expected, and through intercalation of DGEBA molecules between the molecules from the organic layer, thereby creating a new interphase with unique properties. Due to the high volume fraction of this new phase, the density and modulus of elasticity exhibited behavior that could not be explained by traditional methods. A new approach was used to develop a model that considered this third phase and set more consistently to the experimental data obtained, and showing the domain of this new interphase on the nanocomposite`s properties.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, (Re)construindo sentidos: os discursos sobre a formação do professor de língua portuguesa no Brasil(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-12-17) Cressoni, Luciana Aleva; Abreu, Ana Silvia Couto de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7461517670259813; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1632465112748859This research aims to understand the dominant circulating senses and, therefore, appear as a true effect on being a Portuguese language teacher in Brazil. Understanding that the senses are linked to the work of ideology and language policies, which as part of the subjectivation forms (in an unconscious process) of teachers, try to hold individuals responsible for their profession to be (dis)articulator of failure of language teaching. The senses of Portuguese as a national language works to produce the effect of the difficulties of Portuguese and here we will present and analyze how these constructions were possible throughout the history of the schooling of our foreign national language. We understand that the issues related to language teaching are not linguistic issues, but political is that we present our work so that we understand that to say about the Portuguese teacher as a teacher who is always exposed to lack in the schooling processes is the condition of never be allowed to be a producer of his own linguistic knowledge. Teachers of Portuguese not authorized to produce their knowledge are discursively constituted by the lack, a kind of lack of capacity to produce this knowledge by the legal demand of only reproducing the strategies of education legitimized by the public policies on literacy and the teaching of the language understanding that this is a way of dismantling them, thus disarticulating the teaching of language in public schools.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Efeitos de um treino de habilidades para a vida junto a adolescentes com deficiência intelectual e em situação de acolhimento(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-12-17) Benetti, Daniella Simões; Denari, Fátima Elisabeth; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5575213011914394; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6463201980996926In Brazil, the Official authorities send children and teenagers who need special legal protection to an Institutional Shelter and/or a Foster Care, which priorities are: to promote a health development, social and familiar reinstatement, and/or inclusion in the host family, as much as for detachment of family or institution. However, some cases of sheltering extend the time, which brings psychosocial consequences in development process of the foster children, such as: feeling of unpreparedness, fear, sadness, which happens mainly after detachment. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effects of a training involving skills for life, specifically skills of assertive communication, applied to teenagers with intellectual disability that live in Institutional Shelter situation, which focus on improve the quality of their social living. This is a qualitative and quantitative research. In order to proceed with data collection we applied two semi-structured questionnaires to technical team of the institution. One of them aimed to characterize the participants and the other one aimed to observe the understanding of the technical team about communication skills deficit of teenagers participants of this study. After that, we applied a board game of social interaction to teenagers with purpose of identify deficit regards to these skills and the benefits of the board game. The data collect were achieved through a set of conversation where the training were applied. The analyses were based on “Content Analysis”. It has participated of this study four teenagers with Intellectual Disability that live in an Institutional Shelter situation. The results pointed out that the training has improved some verbal, non-verbal and also paralinguistic components, which were in deficit regards to communication's repertoire of the participants. Furthermore, it has pointed out that other components were developed, even they were not part of the research: start, maintain and stop a conversation. However, some participants have not changed regards to specific components of assertive communication. The results also pointed out the need of application of others studies, as much as elaboration of other strategies of intervention.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, No espetáculo do riso : uma abordagem etnográfica da comédia stand-up(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-12-17) Sechinato, Juliana Spagnol; Cunha, Edgar Teodoro da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6539261486388368; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5592219881899486Supported by the Classic Laugh and Humor Theories as background, according the approach of the anthropology of performance and the ethnographic work carried out in a comedy club in São Paulo city, this work aims to understand the construction of the comic in stand-up comedy performance through three areas of analysis, namely: 1) local relations, text and scenario; 2) the oral narrative as bases of stand-up comedy; 3) the public as counterpart. Seeking to bring out the humorous experience, seated in the performer-space-audience triad, this study brings, in ethnographic narrative, elements that influence and build the stand-up comedy into its scenic context, such as the environment, interactions of the audience and extra scenic components, which act as an emergency supports of the comic genre. It also discusses about the comedian training, aesthetic limitation, the textual production, live scenes and other elements, in order to the compression of the laughter and the stand-up performance. In turn, the audience laughter, as a comedian purpose and expectation of the public, emerges from the negotiations between the present, whose narratives outweigh the telling of jokes and laughter comes over as part of the scene than simply as a result of the jokes.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Avaliação do impacto de políticas públicas em indicadores sociais: turismo e desigualdades nas estâncias de São Paulo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-12-17) Juliano, Tiago; Melo, Ismail Barra Nova de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3576937472687059; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7064218048398448Public policies have increasingly recognized tourism as a means of reducing social inequalities, fostered the development of the activity at different scales. Despite the expectations created by these policies, tourism has not yet consolidated effective recognition among different sectors of society in relation to its role in local development agenda. This study assumes that the attenuation of social inequalities should conform an elementary goal of tourism development and it is based on the question of what has been the contribution of tourism public policies to achieve this role. Thus, the study covers the municipalities that received the title of tourist municipalities between the 1990s and 2010. It employs the method of difference in differences as an evaluation tool of public policy, complemented by other techniques of statistical analysis. The study seeks to confront social indicators of municipalities covered by the policy with other municipalities not served by this action, in periods before and after the government intervention. In this context, the results of five different scenarios are presented, conformed from different estimation techniques, groups of municipalities and variables. In addition to the impact estimations, tourism government representatives were interviewed. Briefly, tourist municipalities represent a positive increase in income indicators, although its impact on the reduction of inequality has not been identified. Therefore, it can be inferred that social potential of tourism has not been used as a broader conception of this phenomenon supposes. A set of interpretations for the results obtained is presented and discussed, pointing an extensive range of expectations for the touristic development. Recent reformulations in the normative framework of the tourist municipalities suggested that monitoring the developments of the main tourism policy at state of São Paulo remains necessary. It’s consistent, especially under the stimulus of competition between municipalities that have unequal resources for the promotion of tourism. Therefore, the reflections on what is the role of activity for local development and who are the actors that matter in this process remain while a fundamental task in tourism studies and indicate that social inequalities should be focused.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Aplicação do jogo ludo atomística no ensino de química(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-12-17) Fernandes, Marcelo; Longo, Elson; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9848311210578810This work presents an experience directed on the construction, development and implementation of a playful activity in the Teaching of Chemistry, with students of the first year of high school State School "Captain Agenor de Carvalho" in the municipality of Estiva Gerbi, State of São Paulo in Brazil.
