This oxide is an n-Type semiconductor and is found naturally in different crystalline phases. Recently, this material has attracted much attention as photocatalyst for the electrochemical photolysis of water displaying a high efficiency, chemical stability and a large surface area. Furthermore, for this application has been proposed that the synthesis of TiO2 nanotubes (Nts-TiO2) prepared by anodization are promising. Thus, we aimed to study the correlation between the synthesis - morphological and microstructural properties for the optical properties of Nts-TiO2 prepared electrochemically, using the photoelectrochemical decomposition reaction of water as a reaction target optical properties. For this, the Nts-TiO2 were prepared by anodizing the titanium substrate in Ethylene glycol solutions /water/ ionic liquid (BMIM-BF4), followed by a heat treatment at 450 °C. In this study, we performed a factorial design 23 to: i) evaluate the statistical significance of synthesis variables: applied potential (Eapl), bath temperature (Tbanho) and percentage of water in the electrolyte (%A); and ii) quantify the correlation between synthesis, morphological, microstructural and optical properties of Nts-TiO2. The synthesized nanotubes were characterized by their morphology and photoelectrochemical properties. The characterization by X-ray diffraction indicated characteristic peaks only the anatase phase interest. The band gap determined by the Wood-Tauc method were calculated values near 3.2 eV. The scanning electron micrographs showed the formation of Nts-TiO2 in all conditions of synthesis, with an internal diameter with values between 23 and 65 nm, being statistically significant main effects Tbanho and %A and interactions effects of Eapl -%A. To study the photoelectrochemical properties of the electrodes, linear voltammetry experiments were carried out in the light and dark in 0, 5 M H2SO4 solution, the photocurrent density values obtained in the course showed values up to 300 μA cm-2 at 1.01 V vs Ag/AgCl/KClsat. (Water oxidation potential for the system studied) compared with the response obtained in the dark. With the results obtained, is observed the variability in current density in function of morphological, microstructural and semiconducting properties of Nts-TiO2. Many studies show the importance of the HPV virus in the onset of cervical cancer, but because of the monoclonal nature of this cancer, it is suspected that HPV infection may not be considered the only causal factor responsible for the development of cervical carcinoma. Studies have indicated that EBV may have a role in cooperation with the HPV16 tumor development. Such cooperation could influence the tumor microenvironment by creating a favorable niche for its progression. Cancer cells secrete enzymes that degrade the extracellular matrix (ECM). Such enzymes such as matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) facilitate cell movement in tissues and induce the activity of growth factors that promote angiogenesis. Among the group of MMPs, MMP-7 seems to have a crucial role in the development of carcinogenesis, since its action has been associated with the cleavage and release of adhesion molecules important. In this sense, this study was performed to establish the relationship between the HPV coinfection / EBV and expression of MMP-7. They were examined immunohistochemically histological slides of cervical lesions biopsies of 60 patients aged 35 to 65 years. The samples were divided into high grade lesion and low grade and evaluated semiquantitatively by scoring system ranging from 0 to +++. Histopathological indexes the degree of injury were established. It observed a statistically significant association between high-grade lesion, the expression of MMP-7 and the presence of the HPV virus, with p = 0.007 at the junction portion squamocolumnar and p = 0.023 in the portion of the ectocervix. In this sense many social problems could be studied by public research in order to mitigate social inequality. This research aims to identify and understand the obstacles and possibilities for the formation of the research agenda of the public university demands from the local community. The methodology was qualitative and exploratory, which is outlined in literature and literature. The literature encompassed thematic as science, technology and innovation policy (PCT&I); channels of communication between university and society; social technology; and territorial development. The result of the survey pointed out as an obstacle to the construction of the university agenda based on the demands of local communities PCT&I developed based on international models; political control centered in the hands of a few actors, especially scientists; research agenda aimed at an international science, business or particular demands; lack of communication channels and strategies and exchange of knowledge between universities and local communities; little research on the research agenda of Brazilian scientists. As possibilities the search result pointed adherence by the PCT&I concepts such as: social technology; regional development; solidarity economy; social technology park; sustainable development; and actions as public policy development: municipalities, states (master plan) and urban planning.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Educar para as relações étnico-raciais : mudanças no campo normativo e o impacto no mercado editorial(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-04-20) Madeira, Thais Fernanda Leite; Silvério, Valter Roberto; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9421231847055027; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3038895593457591Education has always been considered by social movements, especially the black movement, as an important playing field to be included in their discussions, as it is understood to be a means of promoting awareness, appreciation and social inclusion. Therefore, the approval of Law no. 10.639 / 2003 and its guidelines, which amended the Education Law (Lei de Diretrizes e Bases, or LDB, in Portuguese), can be considered a new milestone in the history of education in Brazil, because they represent substantial changes that alter the country's educational policy and reflect profound social changes in the way our society is represented. Compulsory education about ethno-racial relations and the history of Afro-Brazilian and African culture in all primary and secondary education reverberates in textbooks and supplementary course material, seen as important tools that play a key role to promote the history, culture and identity of Brazilians of African descent and erradication of prejudices. It is understood that publishers occupy an important space, creating, editing and disseminating textbooks and educational material; in other words, structured spaces that permit the transfer of symbolic capital for the legitimation of discourse and the discussion of topics of interest related to social demands, dictating themes and directing debates. In this context, the objective of this study is to investigate the publishing market in the Brazilian context, identifying how changes in the legal field have impacted its dynamics, starting from theNational Textbook Program and the National School Library Program.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Redes sociais e recursos em empresas de base tecnológica : o caso das empresas da incubadora Softnet(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-04-20) Locachevic, Gabriela; Sacomano Neto, Mário; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0000793038362058; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8240850999224824Companies incubators can be considered the center of a relationship network comprised by companies, government agencies, universities and research centers. The support offered to incubated companies was designed to accelerate the implementation of new organizations and make them competitive in the market. Therefore, companies networks inserted in these environments favor the exchange of information and cooperation for use of these resources to the development of new products, thus supporting innovation and business competitiveness. Considering that, the aim of this study was to investigate the social networks and resources of Softnet incubator and their incubated software companies, analyzing the networks, regarding its structure, nodes, connections and flows, and identifing shared resources between companies belonging to Softnet. For this, we interviewed the managers of Softnet incubator and Cubo TI, Onion and NeoInfinito interprises. Our results demonstrated the close relationship between available resources and cooperated social networks, since most available resources drives companies to seek the creation of networks, leading to the perception that cooperation provides benefits that would hardly be achieved in isolation and contributed to the understanding of the organizational environment in which incubated technology-based companies operate and Softnet incubator.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Viabilidade da implantação de um programa de pagamentos por serviços ambientais: uma análise na sub-bacia do Pirajibu, Sorocaba-SP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-04-20) Corrêa, Carina Júlia Pensa; Franco, Fernando Silveira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3218633711361955; Tonello, Kelly Cristina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3844965971290638; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4141008820581109Public policy incentives are essential to the effectiveness of environmental law and the preservation of services provided by ecosystems. In this context, Payments for Ecosystem Services –PSE programs remunerate environmental services providers through funds built from the user/polluter pays logic. This study aimed to evaluate the possibility of implementing a PSA program in Pirajibu watershed, Sorocaba -SP, and suggest suitable alternatives for the conservation of water resources in the region. To this end, secondary data were collected on public agencies. In addition, were analyzed pictures from the RapidEye satellite (Ministry of Environment-ME), and with the help of satellite images from Google Earth, processed in Quantum GIS 1.6 software- Open Source Information Systems Finally, field trips were made to verify the information found. The results indicate that there is difficulty identifying possible providers and calculate the opportunity cost of the land, since agriculture is a rare activity in the region. Regarding environmental services, there was a great potential of the Pirajibu –Mirim River for water supply. This watershed has been studied in more detail, its water sources were mapped and some of them diagnosed in macroscopic analysis in the field. The water sources are, for the most part, in particular areas, with water having satisfactory aspects. However, there is the presence of garbage, lack of identification, proximity roads and the lack of environmental compliance expected by the Brazilian Forest Code (Lei nº. 12.651/ 2012). This scenario shows the importance that public policy in Sorocaba-SP considers the recovery and protection of water sources, however, not directly compensating the owner. It is suggested that the model has the forecast works for soil conversation on dirt roads, in addition to a donation of inputs and technical assistance to owners interested in recovery. Also considering the characteristics of relief and zoning of the master plan, it is proposed to establish a Private Reserve of National Heritage - PRNP at the head region of Pirajibu -Mirim River. Finally, it is suggested the implementation of other tax incentive policies in the region, such as property tax reduction in suitable properties with economic and social use.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Terapia ocupacional e a questão social no Brasil : uma análise de suas publicações(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-04-20) Duarte, Maria Luiza Mangino Cardoso; Lopes, Roseli Esquerdo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1507752191797249; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5561733834590560In Brazil, where social issues arising from the structural inequality of a capitalist society did not lead to configuring a State of Social Welfare at any time in its history and that, moreover, it coexists with extreme levels of wealth concentration, encouraged the question about how, nowadays, this social issue is whether or not considered by occupational therapists. Understanding that occupational therapy is a profession that can direct its interest of study and involvement to the social inequalities and its problematics, and highlighting interventions and therapeutic-occupational propositions that occur with individuals who are on the margins of the social organization, this project made a proposal of research that goes back to the relationship between occupational therapy and the "social issues" in Brazil, focusing on the publications produced by researchers until March 2015, when data collection ended. The survey was conducted from the CNPq Research Groups Directory in the Lattes Platform, where occupational therapists researchers working in the occupational therapy subarea were selected in this directory. Then an assessment was held in their resumes on the same platform in order to gather all its productions in format of articles, books and / or book chapters, so that later those related to the subject studied could be selected. In addition to this source of information, all publications in this area in the two indexed Brazilian journals in the field were gathered. The aim was to bring together the production of researchers in occupational therapy with what has been brought in knowledge dissemination vehicles in the area. The data collected after the application of the inclusion criteria for the study were gathered in 112 texts of 155 different authors. The content thereof permitted to categorize and analyze what was produced in the academic area, allowing the apprehension of the theoretical foundation of the relationship between occupational therapy and social issues in Brazil. It is noteworthy that the productions on the theme intensified from the 2000s, and mostly cover the adult population. What has been proposed by social occupational therapy in Brazil and the authors linked to METUIA Project marks sharply the set of this production. Moreover, it is clear that professionals turn to the demands arising from the social question in Brazil, noting that occupational therapy has indeed tools and resources to do so.
