listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Avaliação física, físico-química e sensorial de cultivares alface produzidas em diferentes sistemas de cultivo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-05-18) Fontana, Larissa; Verruma-Bernardi, Marta Regina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3470912236544684; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1970404419752715In Brazil, there is a growing and promising market that explores the new cultivars of lettuce and crispy segment the Brunella and Crocantella cultivars are examples. The cv. Brunella is an innovative cultivar that combines crisp lettuce characteristics and lettuce being adapted to Brazilian culture conditions. A cv. Crocantella is also included in this segment. It is considered a vigorous lettuce with high numbers of leaves, heavy, thick and light green. The lettuce cultivation may be performed in different cropping systems they are different from each other in crop management and also in post-harvest handling. These differences often produce lettuces with physical, physico-chemical and sensory differentiated. In this way the objective of this study was to determine the effect of different cropping systems in physical, physicochemical and sensory parameters in lettuce cultivars. For cv. Brunella noted that the plant produced hydroponically provided with larger lettuce leaves. The organic plant increased loss of weight. It was not found statistically significant differences for turgor pressure loss analysis among the three cropping systems. The instrumental analysis color demonstrated that hydroponic lettuce presented lighter green that produced the organic system and higher acidity compared to the other two systems. Not found a statistically significant difference in the measurement of soluble solids and total phenolic compounds among the three cropping systems. The sensory analysis cv. Brunella organic was the one with lowest preference and intention to purchase by the consumer. For cv. Crocantella was found that for conventional lettuce leaf area showed higher, then the hydroponic and organic, with significant difference between them. The sample produced in the organic system had lower leaf area, lower ULA and lower initial fresh and even the loss of weight was significantly higher when compared to the other two cropping systems. There was no significant statistical difference in the turgidity initial values, final and loss of turgor pressure between the samples produced in the three cropping systems. In instrumental analysis of color it was also no statistically significant difference among the three cropping systems. The physicochemical analysis was not statistically significant differences in pH values between samples produced in the three cropping systems. The organic sample obtained highest soluble solids, with difference to the hydroponic system. In the determination titratable acidity and total phenolic compounds was obtained statistically significant differences between the three systems. For titratable acidity hydroponic sample had higher acidity, then the organic sample and the conventional sample, for the determination of total phenolic compounds, organic sample had a higher value, then the hydroponic and conventional. With respect to test preference for cv. Crocantela was no statistical difference between the samples produced in the three cropping systems and the purchase intention test, there was significant difference in purchase intent among the samples produced in hydroponic and organic system, that is, the first was most intent the second purchase. It is concluded cultivation system used for the production of lettuce influence on physical characteristics and physico-chemical plants. In this study it was possible to obtain the sensory characterization of Brunella and Crocantella lettuce cultivars. This manner, studies with these characteristics are crucial as they allow the diagnosis of these differences assisting in obtaining important information from production and post-harvest both for the active professional in the field and the consumer.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Galvanização como tema motivador na disciplina de química tecnológica em um curso de engenharia de produção(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-05-18) Monassa, José Michel; Marques, Rosebelly Nunes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7921735904003583; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3264695180193801In technical visits to companies in Marilia and the region, the needs observed; on hiring a professional that would present previous knowledge of galvanization and its applications, it was proposed a reformulation of the menu of the Technological Chemistry discipline in the course of production engineering. This research was applied to the students of 2nd year/4th stage on studying Production Engineering at the Higher Education Institution. The research process involved: a) Utilizing galvanization as the main theme to motivate the learning process of the students; b) Increasing students’ prior knowledge of the galvanization theme; c) Bringing the labor market and the University together through technical visits to the companies of Marilia and the region; d) Proposing additional content to the menu of the Technical Engineering discipline. The exploratory research took a qualitative approach to assist in the collection and analysis of data. Data collection instruments were questionnaires that inquired on prior knowledge and then post-activities. The questionnaires consisted of two phases, one diagnostic and another one for evaluation. In the diagnostic phase, the students answered questions about previous knowledge of Electrochemistry and its applications. The second part of survey was administered after the instruction of new content. Based on the analysis of the answer categories and the correction of assessment tools applied to students, it was possible to observe the improvement in the learning process of the chemistry teaching. During the technical visits were observed the electroplating process for electrowinning and phosphating. The process of galvanizing phosphating is the most widely used in the industries of Marilia and region.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Consequências específicas como nódulos para o estabelecimento de classes de equivalência e transferência de função(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-05-18) Silveira, Marcelo Vitor da; Rose, Julio Cesar Coelho de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3386857761295187; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4126017191794231This dissertation comprises four studies that aimed at the establishment of equivalence classes and transfer of functions among stimuli with common class membership with specific reinforcers. In Study 1, seven undergraduates were given to identity MTS training in which movies and tones were applied as arbitrary specific reinforcers. All participants failed on tests for the formation of equivalence classes. Thus, they were not conducted to tests for transfer of functions. Their failures were due to a redundancy of the MTS task for individuals within this population, or to the lack of defined motivational functions of the specific consequences. The nature of the consequences was manipulated in Study 2. This manipulation aimed at guaranteeing that these stimuli would act as reinforcers for six undergraduates within session behavior. The outcomes in two experiments were positive for the establishment and reorganization of equivalence classes and for transfer of functions. These results showed that the failures in Study 1 were due to the arbitrariness of the specific consequences. In Study 3, 10 undergraduates were given to a training comprised by mixed trials of arbitrary and identity MTS with specific consequences. The results on the first experiment were positive for formation and expansion of equivalence classes. Evidences for transfer of functions were also observed. However, nine of these participants had failed in tests for reorganization of the original equivalence classes. Finally, performances by seven participants confirmed that specific consequences can act as nodes for merging stimuli from separate classes. Moreover, further tests were positive for transfer of functions through stimuli within merged classes with specific consequences as nodes. The findings by these four studies for the establishment of equivalence classes and transfer of functions in procedures with different levels of complexity are showing that once class specific consequences had become class members, they will act as nodes as the antecedent stimuli (conditional and discriminative).
