Análise da inserção da educação ambiental no volume I do currículo do 6° ano/5ª série do ensino fundamental do estado de São Paulo
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-12-05) Timoteo, Camila Kwiatkoski; Di Tullio, Ariane; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9511903187279525; Logarezzi, Amadeu José Montagnini; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6153358744019882; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1394593387253518
The current environmental situation is a worrying scenario, making it inevitable to take different measures that result in solutions that overcome social and environmental challenges, pointing to a world of sustainable societies. As an important part of the complex and articulated group of necessary measures, education is essential, since it is capable of raising awareness that mobilizes people for social transformation. Environmental education is a practice that incorporates themes that are crucial in the society development in general and, if implemented in a critical, reflexive, transformative and emancipatory perspective, can increase the power of people action in this direction, favoring the challenging inflection, now in demand. In Brazil, this practice is referred to in concepts and principles known and established, which must be followed in its exercise, in projects and programs of community interaction, or in contents worked in the school environment. In this context, based on an evaluation of the National Curriculum Parameters of the Environment Transversal Theme and the National Curriculum Guidelines in Environmental Education, this paper defined four indicators for the analysis of the the São Paulo State official curriculum of the elementary education in relation to the approach to the environmental question: knowledge, participation, values, contextualization. Bibliographic review followed by documental analysis were the procedures used in the research, complemented by surveys of empirical researches to verify the occurrence of environmental education initiatives in the hidden curriculum in school practices. From the documental analysis of the Teacher's Notebook of all disciplines, we sought, among the description of the activities proposed there, to verify the occurrence of the different indicators. It was observed that environmental education practice is still restricted mainly to the areas of Science and Geography, which contrasts with the main indication, parameters and guidelines established, that this should be a practice that transcends the curriculum, pointing to a possible interdisciplinarity. We made suggestions for insertion of the environmental theme in different situations of its absence in the materials analyzed, trying to show concretely possibilities of approaching the environmental issue in all disciplines.

Mapas da transmutação : modelagem, propriedades estruturais, estimação e aplicações
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-12-05) Granzotto, Daniele Cristina Tita; Louzada Neto, Francisco; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0994050156415890; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1804132689797867
Initially, we use the quadratic transmutation maps to compose a new probability model: the transmuted log-logistic distribution. Transmutation maps are a convenient way of constructing new distributions, in particular survival ones. It comprises the functional composition of the cumulative distribution function of one distribution with the inverse cumulative distribution (quantil) function of another. Its comprehensive description of properties, such as moments, quantiles, order statistics etc., along with its survival study and the classical and Bayesian estimation methods, are also part of this work. Focusing on analysis of survival, the study included two practical situations commonly found: the presence of regression variables, through the transmuted log-logistic regression model, and the presence of right censorship. In a second moment, searching for a more exible model than the transmuted, we present its generalization, the transmuted distributions of cubic rank. Using the methodology presented in this rst generalization, two models were considered to compose the new cubic transmuted distributions: the log-logistic and Weibull models. Faced with problems presented in the transmutated class of quadratic and cubic orders (such as the restricted parametric space of the transmutation parameter ), we propose in this work, a new family of distribution. This family, which we call e-transmuted or e-extended, is as simple as the transmuted model, because it includes a single parameter to the base model, but more exible than the class of transmuted models, once the transmuted is a particular case of the proposed family. In addition, the nem family presents important properties such as, orthogonality between the baseline model parameters and the e-transmutation parameter, along with unrestricted parametric space for the ! e-transmutation parameter, which is de ned on the real line. Simulation studies and real data applications were performed for all proposed models and generalizations.

Existence and multiplicity of solutions to a class of elliptic problems involving operators with variable exponent
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-12-05) Hurtado, Elard Juárez; Miyagaki, Olimpio Hiroshi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2646698407526867; Rodrigues, Rodrigo da Silva; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9606661651573155; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0455290275199042
We study the existence and multiplicity of nontrivial solutions for two classes of elliptic problems. The first problem covers a general class of operators with variables exponents where the nonlinearitv has subcritical growth. The second problem is a nonlocal elliptic problem where the nonlinearitv has critical growth. ... continua

The main objective of this study was to highlight and analyze the factors present in the work environment that influence the satisfaction of the technical-administrative employees of the Federal University of São Carlos, who work in Academic Departments. The theoretical framework adopted was Locke's Theory of Work Satisfaction, along with the interaction of other psychosocial aspects related to work, such as Motivation; Sense, Health and Ability to Work; Personal Identity; Organizational Identity; And the question of Leadership. Through the application of questionnaires, among them, the Satisfaction Questionnaire at Work S20 / 23 - adapted to the Brazilian reality, a descriptive and exploratory research was carried out. An analytical survey and logistic regression were used to analyze the data. The survey had a very significant sample, covering 124 individuals out of a total of 147 possible, considerably increasing the reliability of the data obtained, mainly in relation to the data found in Questionnaire S20 / 23, with significantly higher Cronbach's alpha indices. Once verified the degree of satisfaction of the researched agents, it was possible to evidence some factors that may be affecting the organizational behavior of the subjects studied in a way that leads them to the dissatisfaction and that can not be neglected by the organization. In this sense, this work contributed to a better analysis and understanding of job satisfaction within the public organizational context, pointing to ways of creating and consolidating in the individual a sense of belonging that does not come substantially through extrinsic rewards, but mainly through Rewards, where leadership has a primordial role that, together with the institutional mission, are fundamental for the good progress of the organizational flows of the University and of organizations in general.
