The effect of iron incorporation on the catalytic properties of Ni / MgAl2O4 for the Ethanol Steam Reforming (ESR) was studied. Samples of different Fe/Ni molar ratios were prepared by wet impregnation of MgAl2O4, synthesized by the sol-gel method. The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), temperature programmed reduction (TPR), temperature programmed desorption of ethanol, near-edge X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XANES), and photoelectric spectroscopy of X-rays. The formation of the MgAl2O4 spinel was confirmed by XDR and the NiO, Fe2O3 and NiFe2O4 phases were identified in the monometallic nickel, iron and bimetallic catalysts, respectively. In TPR it was verified that the presence of nickel altered the iron properties in the bimetallic catalysts. The catalytic tests were carried out under an atmosphere of water:ethanol and water:ethanol:H2 in the temperature range of 250 to 650 °C. Changing the drag from He to hydrogen, reduced the degree of oxidation of the samples at low temperatures and, consequently, increased the activity. The higher the iron content, the lower the activity at low temperatures. The results of XANES indicated that a restructuring of the Ni-Fe particles occurs during the RVE. After the reduction, Ni-Fe alloy formation is obtained, with increasing temperature Fe migrates to the surface and is oxidized to FeO. The intensity of this reconstruction depends on the Fe/Ni ratio and the composition of the reactants, being more intense in the reaction without H2. Among the catalysts analyzed, 8Ni-5Fe was the most stable and selective to hydrogen gas during the ESR, presenting a lower carbon formation

Nanoparticles (NPs) have been produced on a large scale worldwide for various consumer purposes such as the production of cosmetics, sunscreen, biosensors, human prosthetics and cancer therapy. However, due to its large production, NPs can have water bodies as final destination, where current studies addressing these compounds are not sufficient to estimate the threat that these substances could cause to aquatic organisms. Chronic studies with nano-Fe3O4 are scarce and, to the best of our knowledge, inexistent regarding tropical zooplankton species, although chronic studies are of great importance to predict the effects of the substances because they analyses great part of this organisms life cycle. At present study, we investigated nanoparticles of Fe3O4, to the tropical cladoceran Ceriodaphnia silvestrii using acute toxicity tests (0.00; 0.01; 0.10; 1.00; 10.00 and 100.00 mg L-1) during 48h, and chronic toxicity tests (0.00; 3.125; 6.25; 12.50; 25.00 and 50.00 mg L-1) during 14 days. Characterization of NPs in the exposure medium revealed that they experienced agglomeration and aggregation on a micrometer scale. Results showed non-toxicity of nano-Fe3O4 after 48h of acute exposure (EC5048h > 100.00 mg L-1). ). In chronic tests, treatment of 50 mg L-1 caused significant inhibition of growth and reproduction, affecting the maximum length (inhibited 12.71%), accumulated number of eggs (reduction of 51.99%) and neonates (decrease of 61.37%) per female (Dunnett’s test, p < 0.05). We concluded that nano-Fe3O4, in the 14th day, was toxic to C. silvestrii only at the highest concentration tested (50.00 mg L-1) during this chronic exposure.. The use of nano-Fe3O4 in aquatic environments could be considered safe to this species in concentrations up to 25.00 mg L-1, according to the parameters evaluated.

The present work consists of a study about the teacher-student relationship when students are already teachers. The specificities of this relationship are analyzed from two fundamental elements, namely: the resentment dynamics between students and teachers and the taboos about teaching, related to the problem of aversion to the teaching profession. In spite of the approximation to psychology - especially in regard to resentment - the approach employed is philosophical, taking as reference the studies of the Critical Theory of society produced by the first generation theorists of the Frankfurt School, including Theodor Adorno. They are joined by the analysis of other philosophers of modernity, such as Nietzsche and Marx, as well as present-day Frankfurtian intellectuals, such as Zuin, and the philosophy of education in Brazil, especially Saviani. The object of the study presented here is situated historically. Thus, the teacher-student relationship now studied consists of a singular case: a licentiate course in Pedagogy in which students already have the experience of teaching, that is, they are professionals with a practical contribution and familiar with the classroom dynamics. In view of this context, this paper aims to answer the following questions: Does the act of attending a degree in Pedagogy when one already has the experience of teaching practice modify the characteristics of the teacher-student relationship? Would a priori teaching experience contribute to the acceptance of course practices that would enable the formative experience (Erfahrung) (Bildung)? The answers to these questions are produced from the analysis of the highlighted elements in articulation with the controversy of the relation between theory and practice, developed through the application of the negative dialectic method, proper to the Adorno’s Critical Theory. Through the conclusions reached from the answers to these questions, it is possible to better understand the current motivations of the aversion to the teaching profession based on the objective conditions of existence in which it develops in the present days. This whole set of analysis is inserted in the conjunctural dynamics of contemporary capitalist society with the aim of enabling the dialectical articulation between the objective and subjective data gathered in the research. The results show that the fact that the student is already a teacher, in the singular case studied, modifies several aspects of the teacher-student relationship. This change is related, among other elements, to the dissociation between theory and practice which, in these circumstances, underlies the aversion to the teaching profession. In addition, it was possible to verify that the fact that the student is already a teacher does not interpose immediately as an incentive element of practices that provide the formative experience. In this set, it is verified that the current taboos about teaching is reproduced in a specific way when students are already experienced teachers, including the conditions addressed in this research, modifying, even, the characteristics of resentment in the teacher-student relationship that is in this context. Therefore, the present work can contribute to the development of actions that can effectively overcome the objective and subjective determinations that constantly reproduce the resentment, the taboos and the semiformation that pervade the teaching profession.

"Um dia no cais", by João Antônio, was firstly published in the magazine Realidade under the categorization of "short story-report". This designation makes us suppose a mixture, in text, of two different textual genres originated from literature and journalism: the short story and the story-report. This study investigates the textual resources that allowed the term, unknow of at that time, to be created and designated to the aforementioned text. Besides, our aim is to discuss the elements that approach the term and, at the same time, make it distance it from an assertive use above its supposed “subgenre” status. To get the results, we used theoretical concepts that define both short story and report in such a way to intersect them. And in order to consider the environment and the context in this analysis, we take the magazine Realidade and the conditions of Brazil (military dictatorship and the incipient development of a Brazilian cultural industry) into consideration at the time of the publication of the text in question, also intending to understand the emergence of this term that still characterizes "Um dia no cais" as the first Brazilian "short story-report".

The introduction of exotic species affects ecosystems world widely. Aphids (Hemiptera: Aphidoidea) are especially prone to be invasders by presenting characteristics as small sizes, assexual reproduction, and the capacity of involuntarialy invade distant regions, being transported together with their host plants. The main objective of this research was to make an inventory of exotic invasive aphids and also of their hosts, parasitoids and predators in both, natural vegetation and its agricultural surrounding areas. Samplings were carried out in the remaining Cerrado area at the Federal University of São Carlos campus, in the Ecological Station of Itirapina, and in The State Parks Campos do Jordão, Furnas do Bom Jesus, Porto Ferreira and Vassununga. Twelve hours of sampling were performed in each locality, in the rainy and dry seasons in the period between from April 2014 to March 2016. The aphids, possible predators and parasitoids were collected directly in the host plants and identified down to the lowest possible taxonomical level. A total of 7,875 aphids, 5,748 ninphs, 1,642 apterous adults and 485 winged adults over different host plants belongiong to 42 botanical families, distributed in 266 samples. In these samples 38 species of aphids and 50 species of host plants were found. The species Aphis spiraecola, Toxoptera aurantii and A. gossypii were the most abundant, respectively. Plants of the Asteraceae family were the preferred hosts of aphids. The largest number of host plants and highest species richness of aphids were obtained from teh State Park of Campos do Jordão. There were no visual differences in relation to the number of samples obtained in each seasonal period, and aphids were collected year round. Among the aphid/plant interactions observed, 43 are new associations. The emergence of the parasitoids Lysiphlebus testaceipes (Crensson, 1880) and Xenostigmus bifasciatus (Ashmead 1891) and of the hyperparasitoids Pachyneuron aphidis (Bouché, 1834), Syrphophagus sp. Ashmead and Euneura sopolis (Walker,1840) were obtained. We also obtained the uncommon emergence of a parasitoid of the Diapriidae family parasitizing the aphid Picturaphis vignaphyllus. Amonf predators were collected: siyrphíds, crysopíds and the coccinelíds Harmonia axyrids (Pallas, 1773), Hippodamia convergens (Guérin-Méneville, 1842) and Cycloneda sanguínea. In the surroundind agricultural areas aphids only occurred in sites of predominantly coffee culture, as in the State Park of Furnas do Bom Jesus. In the context of exotic species, we could see that among the 165 species of aphids occurring in Brazil, only 16% have their probable origin in the Neotropical region. The remaining species considered exotic are mainly originary from the Paleartic region (37%), being the import and trade of ornamental plants the mai responsible for the increasing entrance of exotic aphid species in Brazil until 2004. From this year onwards although imports continued to increase, the number of exotic aphids decreased due to greater control and efficacy in preventing entrance of exotic species in the country. The success of exotic aphids in Brazil can be partially attributed to global climate changes and to the degree of importance of host s to the Economy. Therefore researches and the presence of aphidologists at agricultural regions will be of great importance to the recording, early warning and actions regarding exotic invasive species.

There are few hospitals with accredited and/or certified status in Brazil. However, it was observed that a small number of private hospitals has been invested in multiple certification and/or accreditation strategy, cumulating two or more certificates. This unusual condition outbursts on the hypothesis that these hospitals integrate their management systems in some degree, resulting in integrated management systems (SGI). Despite the SGI theory has been covered many manufacturing and service sectors, it is still under development stage and needs more research in healthcare field. This work has performed case studies in four hospitals which have integrated two or more management systems, seeking to identify the integration model, the integration degree, the integration strategy, and the integration maintenance mechanism used. It applied a retrospective multiple case study approach, using a semi-structured interview as main instrument to interview managers in charge of the management systems at the analysis units. All analysis units are in Minas Gerais state and were selected by convenience. The case studies indicated external stimulus as main ground to adopt multiple certification and/or accreditation strategy. As for the management systems integration process, this did not rely straightly on the models proposed by the literature, but it has emerged from the need of rule and integrate crucial disciplines in healthcare (safety, risk management, clinical pharmacy, hospital governance, etc.), which become possible through complementation of different management system standards requirements. It was not recognized any use of structured integration model, but the observed characteristics of the SGIs resembled the theoretical tecnocentric model, the integration degree just achieved the tactical and operational stratums at partial and full integrated levels, respectively. The integration strategy was characterized as mixed in three analysis units and sequential in another one. The maintenance of the SGIs has been performed by the mechanism of assimilation in all the analysis units. At the end, it presents a framework to guide the management system integration process of the standards NBR ISO 9001:2015 and NIAHO based on the model of systems.

This research had as general objective to enable a mapping of texts on education in the period of civil-military dictatorship, published in SCIELO database in the period between 1985 and 2016, publication dates of the first and last text located. The methodological procedures were performed by bibliometric approach, focused on documentary research, with a descriptive and exploratory character. Based on professional literature, the data were analyzed and presented in order to facilitate the identification of the following: geographic and institutional distribution of localized journals; recurrent authors; institutional origin of the authors and their participation in research groups; themes addressed in the texts; and which aspects were addressed in the texts that are included in the thematic axis "educational policy". It is understood that the results of the search will enable contributions to the History of Education, because besides the historical review and mapping of knowledge that is being produced on an extremely relevant theme to the educational field, it allows the dialogue with the current educational conditions, such as wage squeeze, poor structure of teacher training courses, close link between education and the labor market, fundaments of school management, valuation of private initiatives, etc.

Biological invasion is listed among the major threats to native biodiversity, causing several impacts. In cases of invasion by exotic plants, vegetation composition and structure are usually changed. These characteristics influence directly on nesting habitat selection by birds at different spatial scales, and may affect their distribution and reproductive success. In this study, we investigated the interference of Urochloa decumbens Stapf., an aggressive invasive grass and which has a rapid proliferation, on nest-habitat selection by the brown-booby (Sula leucogaster Boddaert, 1783) in a Brazilian oceanic island, Castilho Island. At macroscale, the use of available invaded areas and native vegetation areas for nesting were compared. For microscale, different vegetation parameters were estimated 1 m around the nests in plots within invaded and native areas. The difference on the number of nests and vegetation parameters between invaded and native plots was tested. Lastly, the relationship between the number of nests per plot and vegetation parameters was evaluated through the construction of mixed-models. It was found rejection of invaded areas for nesting and preference for areas of native vegetation at macroscale. Plots in invaded areas had a significant lower number of nests, lower coverage proportion by native grasses and herbaceous cover, higher coverage proportion by U. decumbens and higher height of vegetation than native plots. At the microscale, the coverage proportion by invasive grass was the main variable affecting the choice, being negatively associated to the nest-site. Results indicate the importance of controlling U. decumbens to ensure the availability of appropriate nesting habitats for this seabird species.

Biomedical devices currently in use (prostheses, implants) have satisfactory performance in many cases. However, sometimes the body reacts to the device insertion and may lead to its rapid replacement. Some of these disadvantages can be solved by the use of titanium and its alloys, due to their excellent combination of corrosion resistance, wear resistance and biocompatibility compared to other competing biomaterials. This work presents the possibility of obtaining near β titanium alloy with ultrafine grains produced by severe plastic deformation. For this, the Ti-13Nb-13Zr alloy was processed by high-pressure torsion processing method. Samples were processed with different loads and number of turns. The samples were evaluated by Vickers microhardness. As-received and deformed samples were analyzed through X-Ray diffraction. The microstructures were observed by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscope and the microtexture and phase mappings of the material evaluated through the ASTAR equipment in the transmission electron microscope. After characterization, it was observed that there is a refinement of the microstructure and increase of the microhardness of the Ti-13Nb-13Zr alloy deformed by HPT. Due to the superior microhardness of the deformed material and the results of phase transformations indicate a potential application as nanostructured biomaterial.

The main application of 319 aluminum alloy is for manufacturing components for automobile industry. One of the main concerns related to the recycling of this metal is regarding the incorporation of impurities as iron, for instance. Due to its low solubility in solid aluminum, the presence of this element leads to the formation of intermetallic compounds such as α-Al8Fe2Si and β-Al9Fe2Si2, the most common iron phases in Si-containing Al-alloys. The β phase is harmful to mechanical properties because of its platelet like morphology. Spray forming is an advanced processing technique which can mitigate the deleterious effect of these intermetallic phases. However, the solidification process of spray formed metals is still an open discussion. In these sense, the aim of this work is to contribute to a better understanding of the solidification process of spray formed 319 aluminum alloy. The work was divided in three stages: the first evaluated the presence and morphology of intermetallic phases by varying the pouring temperature and Fe content (0.6 and 1.2 in mass percent); the second evaluated the eutectic Al-Si morphology through varying the processing conditions; and finally, the third evaluated the solute distribution in the final microstructure, in this case other aluminum alloys were studied together with the 319 (2024 and 7050). The basis for discussion the phenomena was a solidification model for spray formed metals recently proposed in the literature, which defines the process in two stages, being the final solidification occurring at low cooling rate. The results showed that by controlling the processing parameters it is possible to mitigate the β-Al9Fe2Si2 formation, as well as to alter the eutectic Al-Si morphology. The third stage indicated the possibility of maintenance of certain solute in solid solution on the periphery of aluminum grains. It could be concluded that the solidification model was adequate to explain the phenomena presented in this work.

Among the polymers widely investigated as materials for tissue engineering, polyurethane has its place of prominence, mainly due to the high flexibility and tenacity. The need for devices with certain mechanical properties combined with the ability to be biodegradable and bioreabsorbable motivates the scientific community to increasingly seek the creation of new materials in order to minimize the discomforts and increase the quality of life of the population. The present work aimed to synthesize a new copolymer produced from PCL and TMC with creation of urethane groups in the polymer chain. This synthesis combined the mechanical properties present in Polyurethane and PCL, with the increase of the modulus of elasticity conferred by the TMC, and allowed the increase of the degradation rate of the polyurethane due to the TMC. Prepolymer synthesis occurred in the bulk polymerization between PCL diol and TMC at 50/50 mass ratio using SnOct2 as catalyst. This synthesis was confirmed by FTIR and 1H NMR. The GPC analysis of three samples of the prepolymer showed Mn approximately 6000 g.mol-1 and Mw 12000 g.mol-1 with the IP close to 2. The poly (PCL-TMC) urethane formation occurred via solution polymerization between the prepolymer and HDI using solvent 1,2-dichloroethane and the molar ratio of 1: 2 (prepolymer / HDI). This synthesis was confirmed by FTIR and 1H NMR. Thermal characterization was performed using the DSC and TG techniques. There were no melt and crystallization temperatures in the DSC curve, indicating that the copolymer formed is probably amorphous, and the Tg found was -40 ° C. The TG indicated Tonset and Td, respectively 285 ° C and 301 ° C. Porous were made into the copolymer through solution freeze-drying and SEM test was performed on the porous material, and a mean pore diameter of approximately 38 μm was found, indicating the possibility of cell growth. Therefore, a new copolymer with potential application in biomaterials was created.

The main objective of this work was the unequivocally determination of the crystal symmetry of distorted perovskite structure by direct and indirect methods, with the solid solution system Pb1-xCaxTiO3 (PCT) as the case study. Therefore, ferroelectric ceramic of PCT were investigated using electron diffraction techniques, electric characterization and thermal expansion measurements at compounds with controversial results in the literature about its crystallographic symmetries and polar states, mainly in the Morphotropic Phase Boundary (MPB). Qualitative analysis of synchrotron X-ray diffraction pattern from PCT powders confirms that the octahedral tilting distortions exist from the calcium concentration x = 0.40. From this result, based on subgroup relations analysis and considering only the point group 2mm as a maximal subgroup (as a suit of the system), the symmetries Pna21 e Pcm21 were predetermined as common subgroups of the known space groups of the ending phases (P4mm, Pbnm, I4/mcm e Pm-3m). In turn, from the thermal expansion measurements and electric characterization, using thermal dependence of the dielectric permittivity and the polarization vs. electric field curves, some possibilities of crystallographic phase transition were determined, as well as the evaluation of the polar characteristics. To determine the tilt system and the crystal symmetry at room temperature, the electron diffraction techniques were used. The composition choice was 47.5 mol % of Ca, which represent a challenge in PCT MPB. The tilt system determined is the same of CaTiO3, the mix of antiphase and in phase tilt a-a-c+. Finally, combining results of the electron diffraction techniques set with the indirect techniques set, the orthorhombic symmetry with the point group 2mm and the space group Pna21 was found for the solid solution Pb0,525Ca0,475TiO3. This symmetry might cover other compositions in MPB at room temperatures. The results from the set of techniques protocol allowed concluding this symmetry and polar states from MPB phases as a function of temperature, adding new contribution to elucidate the PCT phase diagram.

Magnesium is a light metal with a relatively low cost. It can form magnesium hydride (MgH2), which is interesting for the safe storage of hydrogen in the solid state, thanks to its high gravimetric capacity of 7.6%. The Mg application is hampered by its high H2 absorption/desorption temperature and slow kinetics. The High energy ball milling (HEBM) has been successful in preparing Mg-based nanocomposites, resulting in rapid kinetics around 300 °C. However, powder contamination, process time and the need for inert atmosphere to its manipulation are limiting the HEBM. In order to improve its performance, Mg, with or without iron addition, was submitted to two main processing routes. First the HEBM was performed as a reference for the milled powder. In another route, bulk Mg was processed as stacked plates, and also, Fe was added in the form of continuous and fragmented wires, or powdered. In this route, Mg was submitted to severe plastic deformation (SPD) at room temperature, starting with the extensive cold rolling (ECR) and followed by the repetitive cold rolling (ARB). The materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical microscopy (OM), scanning (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The H2 storage properties were evaluated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and the Sievert’s volumetric method. The Mg submitted to HEBM was superior in the activation, kinetics and H2 storage capacity, compared to the ECR+ARB. The Mg with Fe addition, milled for 10 h, showed optimum kinetics and a large reduction on the desorption temperature. However, the Mg processed by ECR+ARB with Fe addition under varied morphologies, yield a high level of accumulated deformations and defects, permanence of the (002) plane texture and submicrometric grain refinement, reflecting in good activation and high H2 storage capacity, which still requires more studies to overcome the better results of the HEBM.

Economic games are useful as experimental models of complex social interaction situations such as altruism. These games are important because they allow you to analyze the variables involved in people's decision making. However, the definition of altruism under the behavioral perspective is still imprecise, which hampers experimental control, with respect to both stimuli control, and with respect to response and reinforcement parameters. The present study sought to review the conceptual literature on the topic of altruism, seeking to elucidate the construction of this concept in Behavior Analysis and then propose an inverted model of the Sharing Game based on a conceptual refinement on the operationalization of altruism. Both the Inverted Sharing Game and the Traditional Sharing Game (Kennelly & Fantino, 2007) require participants to choose between two different amounts of money, one larger and one smaller for themselves and an anonymous participant. However, in the Sharing Game when the participant chooses the highest amount for himself, he ends up making an even bigger amount available to the other participant, and when he chooses the lowest amount of money for himself, he makes available to the other an even smaller amount. The Inverted Sharing Game, on the other hand, operates the opposite way, that is, when the participant chooses the largest amount of money for himself, provides a smaller amount to the second participant and, if he chooses the smallest amount for himself, the Another participant earns a larger amount. In a cross-subject design, experiments involving repeated attempts were made with twenty opportunities in which the participants chose how to distribute the resources between themselves and a passive participant. Two hundred participants were equally distributed under four conditions, one of which was the exposure to the Sharing Game, another to the Inverted Sharing Game, and the other two conditions were a junction between the two models presented in different orders. The experiment demonstrated that the number of self-controlled responses evoked by the Sharing Game is greater when compared to the Inverted Sharing Game, in addition to suggesting that there is an order effect of one game over the other. The study has social and scientific importance while presenting two experimental models to study the phenomenon of generosity or altruism, of particular interest in the scope of cooperation, its social importance and the survival of the species.

This research investigated the criteria that were used in the search for loving and/or sexual partners between men in two different periods: (a) by the Lampião da Esquina newspaper that was in circulation before the break out of the HIV-AIDS epidemic and the advent of the Internet (b) after the epidemic and expansion of the commercial Internet through the Hornet® web application. Therefore, the research was established at two certain moments: (1) through the Lampião da Esquina newspaper, circulated in Brazil when censorship was relaxed by the military regime in the sections "troca-troca" (partner swapping) and “cartas na mesa” ("cards on the table" similar to an advice column) from April, 1978 to June, 1981 and (2) based on an analysis of the profiles currently sought by the Hornet® web application, which had ages and residence equivalent to those found in the newspaper advertisements. As a specific aim, we analysed what changed in terms of loving, sexual and personal expectations among men who sought other men; how the search for loving and/or sexual partners began to affect desires, market, work, leisure and forms of subjectivation with new collective ideas. To do this, we investigated the following considering descriptions published in the respective sections (a) and web application (b), the intersected cleavages in the search (race, ethnicity, generation, social class, education and location), as well as the processes, mediations, break-ups and dilemmas that modulated loving and sexual expectations, above all, by the centrality of sex appeal and body as elements imbued by emerging socioeconomic and cultural characteristics. The research presents a multi-method design and therefore combines quantitative and qualitative techniques using documentary analysis and online profiles, integrating statistical controls using the SPSS package. In order to construct the theoretical reflection intended, references were made to digital media, gender and sexuality. From the results, the research allowed to recognize a process of intensification of the selection of partners from the second moment, keeping continuities and ruptures in relation to the descriptors of the first moment, as well as the emergence of a grammar of the desire that alludes to the sexual panic of AIDS in sociological terms.

The proposal of this research is to collect and analyze the variability of social representations about transsexuality that circulate on the internet according to the trans people themselves. The research was based on the dynamics of use that trans people make of certain digital media, specifically social networks and blogs, as a source of information, sharing, debate and socialization. Therefore, I used the online observation of blogs, pages/communities of Facebook and Youtube channels, wich are constituted as spaces of circulation of speeches about transsexuality. In dialogue with Queer Theory, Gender studies, and other digital media researches I explore the relationship between representations, corporalities, subjectivities as the transsexuality involve a cultura dynamic which is associated with modes of understand/modify bodies and subjectivities.

Entre insultos e falsas harmonias : a construção dos efeitos de agressividade no discurso político eleitoral na campanha de 2014

During the pre-election period of the presidential election in 2014, the news and commentaries about the political campaigns of the presidential candidates portrayed aggressive speeches in debates, on social media, in television campaigns, and even on official websites. This occurred both in the first round of the election and in the second, however, in a fierce dispute for winning the presidency, the second round between the President Dilma Rousseff (PT) and the former Senator Aécio Neves (PSDB) was marked by confrontation, characterized as aggressive and heated. It is important to emphasize that these news and comments about the aggressiveness of the campaign are also discursive constructions, present an impression that attest to an increase in aggressiveness, reason why we cannot consider them as a presupposition and a starting point for analysis. However, the constant reproduction of discourses that characterize the campaign of 2014 as aggressive, already constitutes a pertinent indicator for analysis of what was understood as insult, aggression. Other important issues that drive us to look at this campaign are the change in the organization of television debates - direct interaction between the candidates, positioned face to face -, the intensification of the use of social networks, as well as the candidates' official sites, among other aspects that would favour a possible increase of the aggressiveness or the production of a greater visibility of what is considered aggressive. Given the peculiarities of the organization and functioning of the mediums (debates, sites, social networks and blogs) in this campaign, and the emergence of discourses that characterize it as aggressive, we attempt to analyze the discourse said aggressive, trying to understand its formulation and materialization in the political discourse through the resources of irony, theme selection, derisive speech, swearing, gestures, tone of speech, allusion, among others. What would be the aggressive, bitter, disrespectful discourse? How does it materialize in political discourse? Guided by these research questions and based on the theory of French Discourse analysis, we propose the analysis of televised political debates, images that circulated in social networks (Facebook, Blogs), as well as on the official websites of the campaigns, during the pre-election period, with the goal of understanding, currently, the production and circulation of the discourse so-called aggressive in Brazil.

Paleoparasitology is the study of recovered parasites from human and no human animals remains. One of the main focuses of the Paleoparasitolgy are coprolites, from which various parasitic structures can be recovered. In this work 24 coprolites from different zoological origins were observed by optical microscopy. They were donated by the Laboratório de Paleoparasitologia of the Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública (ENSP)/Fiocruz in a partnership with the Laboratório de Paleoecologia e Paleoicnologia (LPP), Universidade Federal de São Carlos. The samples come from the paleontological and archaeological site Lagoa Uri de Cima, located in the region of Salgueiro, State of Pernambuco (Brazil), in semi-arid region in the Brazilian Northeast. Although necrobioma formed by fungi was found in 45.83% of the samples and by mites in 8.33% of them, it was still possible to recover items such as diet remnants and parasitic structures, as well as sponge spicules, diatom and other biological items. In the paleoparasitological analysis, main objective of the work, two of the samples were positive for gastrointestinal parasites. The sample A2726 (8,800 ± 1320 years BP) presented Cestoda eggs, similar to Diphyllobothrium sp., and A2712 (4,600 ± 900 years BP) presented one Nematoda larvae and 260 Eimeria sp. oocysts, possibly a new species of this genus. The presence of only one species, but with more than one morphotype, was suggested by a graphical analysis, unprecedented for this purpose, visualized with the software Gephi v. 0.9.1. The positive results for parasitology support the zoological origin of the coprolites and indicating that the animal populations of the Pleistocene/Holocene that lived in the surroundings of the Uri de Cima were affected by parasitoses. The relationship between necrobioma and organic matter present in the fecal matters, the taphonomic agents that may alter the initial characteristics of the material and the possible implications in the parasite relations in situations of loss of hosts and reservoirs due to extinctions are also discussed here.

The thesis is the result of an ethnographic research in the Middle Rio Negro region of the Amazonian northwest. This region is inhabited by multiethnic populations (Arawak, Eastern Tukano and Yanomami), predominantly for the baré group, which participates in a broad process of sociality with multiple agents, both human and nonhuman. It is tried to present the perspective of the Baré as to the economic system of which they participate, considering this wide range of relations. From the narratives and reports from daily life, I address issues such as the occupation of the present territory, the constitution of communities, work on the extraction of piaçaba and its link with other worlds and their owners. From the baré point of view, I try to elaborate an anthropological reflection about the main gears of the economic system in which they participate - the regime de aviamento, in which patrons and customers connect in symmetrical and asymmetric relations. In this context, I discuss the encounters between humans and non-humans in different social spaces: the river, the forest and the community. The meetings in these spaces are a complex and complex system that includes patrons, patrons, owners, recipients, prayers, shamans, enchants, and whose synthesis can be taken from a baré story: "Together and mixed are true peoples, inhabitants of the forest and Rivers ".
