listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Há saídas? As saídas. Pelos caminhos dos cotidianos das vidas de adolescentes após cumprimento de medida socioeducativa em meio fechado(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-04-25) Faria, Caroline Beier; Malfitano, Ana Paula Serrata; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1462870858750395; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5456216050911047Poor childhood and adolescence has undergone a social stigmatization process taking a cultural imaginary status as “dangerous” and “violent”. Brazilian Government has developed controlling and contention tools as a response to the involvement of adolescents in infractions. The Statute of the Child and Adolescent (Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente – ECA) has made it possible to give these tools a punitive formal profile, in the juridical text, working on socioeducation, and blaming the adolescents, families, and society. Within this context, the present study aimed to know the expectations from juveniles regarding the process of quitting the internment, as well as learning how its routine goes on. The study was at two foundations where the appropriate socioeducational matters of privation of liberty were performed, in two different states of Brazil, being one in a medium-size city, and the other in a metropolis. Thus, during the first stage, 22 workshops meetings were carried out with 59 adolescents, aiming to know their expectations regarding quitting the foundation, and they were also invited to take part into the second stage. Nine semi-structured interviews were also done with technicians involved in their follow-up, focusing on strategies used to plan their reintroduction to the community. In the second stage, territorial follow-ups were performed, for four months, with four adolescents who were interned in socioeducational privacy of liberty in one of the cities mentioned before, aiming to understand how their return to the community was. By using the data obtained from the foundations, and together with the teenagers in their communities, we were able to understand that those adolescents were subordinate to criminal subjection social process, by creating the social expectation which bonds them to the identity of criminals, highly highlighting them to the possibility of communal bonding. It was concluded that besides the strong tagging of this process, and the exclusion from the daily life they face, since their internment the adolescents aim to build resistance and life spaces in their routines.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Intervenção comportamental para mulheres com fibromialgia e má qualidade do sono ou insônia(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-04-25) Kirchner, Luziane de Fátima; Reis, Maria de Jesus Dutra dos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8868678989340770; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0910442125365295The present thesis is described in research papers format, whose development is justified by literature review, phase of intervention tests to improve the plans of data collection and data collection itself. PROPOSAL 1 (Literature review) composes paper 1 and along with paper 2 present the synthesis of the analyzed variables, evaluation and intervention forms and the main results of cognitive-behavioral intervention studies on people with chronic pain, whose results helped in the conduction of the following studies. PROPOSAL 2 (Pilot study) presents a study aimed at women with fibromyalgia (FM) and poor sleep quality, whose research design allowed to evaluate: the effects of a brief behavioral intervention for pain and sleep combined with a relaxation training, and the isolated effect of relaxation training, both compared to the control group without intervention (paper 3) and the effect and order of application of the two components (pain and sleep management) of this intervention (paper 4). And, PROPOSAL 3 (Data collection) corresponds to the study conducted to women with FM and insomnia, from Multiple Baseline Design with withdrawal of the intervention and pre and post test evaluations, which was split in two articles: one of them evaluated the effect of two components of a behavioral intervention for pain management (1 - management of the physical environment conditions and 2 - interpersonal relationship management), on pain and sleep indicators (paper 5), and the other evaluated the effect of this intervention on other health indicators, besides clinical significance and reliable change (paper 6). Direct self-report and self-registration measures for pain and/or sleep assessment were considered in all intervention studies. Data showed that the brief analytical-behavioral intervention (pilot study) for pain and sleep had an impact on reducing the intensity and incapacity of pain and anxiety, and the intervention for pain (data collection itself) had an impact both on pain and sleep, anxiety, depression, stress and social skills self-reported indicators. Considering the direct measures, both studies (pilot and data collection) showed a change in the sleep pattern (mainly sleep latency) evaluated by actigraphy, but there was no change in the Cortisol Awakening Response (CAR). The present study results are in line with the literature, and methodological aspects were discussed.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Diversidade de invertebrados terrestres em cavernas areníticas do estado de São Paulo, com ênfase em Pseudonannolenidae (Diplopoda : spirostreptida)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-04-25) Gallo, Jéssica Scaglione; Bichuette, Maria Elina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8453043393798516; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4426116556359881The subterranean fauna from Brazil is the best studied in South America, and most of the publications come from caves in limestone rocks. However, the national territory also includes areas of quartzite rocks, sandstone, granite and iron ore with great speleological potential. Thus, the present study aimed to describe the faunistic composition of arenitic caves in the municipality of Altinópolis state of São Paulo state. We found 131 morphospecies, most of them belonging to Class Insecta (89 morphospecies) and Class Arachnida (31 morphospecies). This fauna corresponds with the fauna found in previous studies in this region and in other studies in the same lithology. The fauna is composed mainly of spiders (Pholcidae, Ctenidae and Sicariidae families), and their possible prey as cockroaches (Blattaria), crickets (Orthoptera), mosquitoes (Diptera), beetles larvae (Coleoptera) and moths (Lepidoptera). In the light reaction tests, the eight taxa studied were significantly photonegative for all light intensities (150, 500 and 1000 lux). Photophobia can be considered a plesiomorphic character state for the group, which is related apparently to the eye patterns (number of ommatidia and ocular area). The Pseudonannolene population from Olho de Cabra cave had low population densities on the four monitoring occasions, with the individuals found mostly in the twilight and aphotic cave zones. The low population density can be attributed to the low concentration of calcium in the soil of the region and, consequently, inside the cave. The effect of seasonality was marginally significant, probably due to the low population density, which may be a consequence of the stress caused by the atypical drought of the last years (2013 and 2014), so that this population is still reestablishing itself. Studies that approach the diversity and biological aspects (e. g. population and behavior) are important to determine relevance of the cave for conservatiom purposes. The present study contributes to the knowledge of the diversity of the subterranean fauna from Altinópolis, and approach the phototactic behavior and population ecology of the subterranean millipede Pseudonannolene never studied before.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Caracterização familiar e intervenção em grupo com irmãos de indivíduos com transtorno do espectro do autismo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-04-25) Goto, Paula Hisa Paranaíba; Aiello, Ana Lúcia Rossito; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7544189440874179; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7382330482949178Siblings of people with ASD could develop social and emotional problems, also, they could have difficulties in parental relationship. Group intervention could be a way to support those siblings with typical development on clarifying their doubts, sharing experiences, and learning strategies to deal with their ASD siblings’ daily relationship. The goal of this study is to present a report of a group intervention with ASD siblings and its effects upon these variables: behavior issues and social behavior; stress and confrontation strategies; relationship network and knowledge about ASD, in addition, the parents and caregivers’ satisfaction related to the intervention. The design used was a quasi-experimental design with three groups: experimental group (EG) which received the whole intervention, partial group (PG) which received a partial intervention, and control group (CG) which did not receive the intervention. There were pre-and post-test to all of the groups but a six months follow-up only with EG. The EG participants were six siblings with age ranging from10 to 15 years old, PG participants were four siblings with age ranging from10 to 12 years old, and the CG participants were four siblings with age ranging from 8 to 12 years old. All the groups had participants with both genders. There were five meetings with EG (12 hours total) and three meetings with PG (6 hours total). Emotional aspects and information were developed in these meetings. In total, 15 siblings and their parents and caregivers participated of the research. One child participated only of the pre-test stage. The protocols used were Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), Stress and Coping in Siblings, Network of Relationships Inventory (NRI), Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS), satisfaction questionnaire with every meeting activities, and a parent /caregiver questionnaire, two semi structured interview scripts, one was used with the research participants, and the other with parents and caregivers. The results showed positive changes related to ASD knowledge, confrontation strategies optimization and for the two intervention groups, a pro-social behavior improvement. There were not changes related to difficulties, stress and relationship networks. The participants reported they enjoyed the activities, so did their parents and caregivers related to the intervention. For future studies, it would be important to consider a large intervention time and the number of participants. Also, a statistical analysis should be considered for future studies to check if the changes were significant to correlate them to gender, birth order, ASD level and the results of the protocols used. Parallel Interventions with ASD parents and siblings could be an interesting possibility. Besides the research limitations, this is a pioneer study in this country. It has showed the importance of a place where the ASD siblings could be heard, received information and support, because they could be benefited from professionals’ attention. Group intervention is beneficial when considering experience changes and time and resources optimization. But also, there are specific cases, especially when high stress levels and disruptive behaviors are presented, that individualized attention could be essential.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Da união para os municípios?
