Through these encounters, I managed to product an image of the possible movements and paths from the pink gallery, term that combines travesties, bichas, gays and envolvidos at physical space, furthermore as a set of bodies, of people. Therefore, this composition gains credence in the beholding of romantic, sexual and economic dynamics that compounds the existential territory of my interlocutors. I hope to have successfully showed how separation movements always were followed by possible encounters on the three chapters that assemble this dissertation. In this sense, there are ladrões (thieves) that morally separates themselves from monas (term used to designate bichas and travesties as feminine subjects) yet only to find them again in prostitution. The ladrão ought to control the limits between his desire and the abject that insidiously is felt in the body of a mona, diverting from the risk of becoming an envolvido. Monas that are the expression of a border, overcoming barriers and contexts as an affirmation of femininity and its idiosyncrasies. Ladrões metamorphosed into envolvidos and which loses their moral ground. Envolvidos, in its turn, that marries monas. Monas that abandon their lives in celas cabaré (prostitution cells) to marry envolvidos. Monas that secretly dates ladrões. Couples that live together but suspiciously feel envious, gossip and fight. Couples that produce intense associative dynamics, involved in economic transactions that generate family. Couples separated by prison, by their different sentences and by surprise transference among penitentiaries. Love and interest, disputes unfolding in the shadow of an architecture created in articulation with prisoner’s subjectivity. Enhanced, this ethnography takes root in analytically describing the encounter of the narratives of monas and envolvidos, combining with the anthropological matters that got me into that prison. It is an ethnography of the prison as well, a membrane that cuts through the existence of prisoners, as porous and permeable, uniting and separating, inextricably comprised of associative romantic and sexual arranges that make possible the existence of the intense, but partial image that this dissertation proposes.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Preparação e caracterização de filme de PVA/Quitosana/Colágeno visando a aplicação como curativo cutâneo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-06-28) Juvencio, Luiz Ricardo Furlan; Komatsu, Daniel; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2620060426867863; Duek, Eliana Aparecida de Rezende; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4147198882685212; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9236649079256527One of strong associations between polymers as biomaterials are in field of skin reparation. Polymers are utilized for this purpose, some such as poly (vynil alcohol) (PVA) are used due to characteristics such as biocompatibility, non-toxicity, in addition to their ability of processing for hydrogels, fibers, scaffolds and thin films. Beside synthetic polymers, utilization of biopolymers are growing and being developed. In biopolymers, chitosan stands out due the capability of hurry the wound regeneration, immunological stimulation, fungi and bacteria static action and the collagen due the interaction with body tissues and support to cell growth. With the objective to attach the properties of PVA, chitosan and collagen, three different types of films was made: PVA, PVA/Quit and PVA/Quit/Col. These films was characterized by Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) that indicates interactions between PVA and chitosan. Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) showed the PVA/Quit and PVA/Quit/Col films have miscibility between the components. Thermogravimetric Analysis (TG) showed higher thermos stability of PVA after the addition of chitosan. Sweeling tests have demonstrated the films PVA/Quit and PVA/Quit/Col had higher swelling degrees than PVA. Water Vapor Permeation showed that PVA films have more permeability. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) showed that does not have separation between components. By the end, antibiogram analysis does not showed inhibition of bacterial activity. Therefore, the characteristics presented in this work stimulates the searching of results and applications of PVA/Quit/Col films in tissue engineering.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Modelagem e simulação de aspectos hidrodinâmicos e cinéticos do processo de gaseificação de biomassa utilizando CFD(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-06-28) Braga, Marina Garcia Resende; Béttega, Rodrigo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1379682125857376; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1444706348672264One of the major problems faced by humanity nowadays is the issue of preserving the environment. In recent years, progress has been accelerated, having a direct influence on the environmental impacts caused by several kinds of activities. In order to settle the situation, considering an industrial context, one of the alternatives is the use and generation of biofuels. One of the most ancient ways of energy generation is gasification, regarding biofuels, this process is a good alternative to contribute to environmental preservation. This work presents important points on the studying of biomass gasification process, evaluating hydrodynamic and kinetic aspects of the process through the use of numerical CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation along with experimental data from literature. Firstly, the fluid dynamics was analyzed, not considering the occurrence of reactions. In this step of the project, the influence of high and low mass solid influxes in variables such as solid volumetric fractions (radial and axial) and particle velocities were verified. In addition, a study on how the restitution coefficient can have an effect on those variables were carried out. It was verified and influence of the coefficient on the solids volume fraction profiles in regions near to the risers walls. Moreover, a study of different drag models was also carried out, in order to obtain the best possible solids volume fraction profile. It was concluded that conventional drag models, such as Gidaspow et al. (1992), for example, are better in predicting the behavior of this variable in more dilute regions, while most models that consider a more heterogeneity in flows, such as those which use the Energy Minimization Multi-Scale (EMMS) approach, are better at predicting the same behavior in dense regions. Regarding the process kinetics, the influence of Gidaspow and EMMS models on the final process products conversion was also analyzed, as well as the solids volume fraction along riser height. The results showed that different drag models do not alter significantly this variable profile in this case.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Lean Manufacturing Project: o impacto da Gestão de Projetos na implementação do Lean em organizações industriais.(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-06-28) Cavalcanti, Dalmo; Silva, João Eduardo Azevedo Ramos da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3823047207711289; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9592729807634506The implementation of Lean Production systems has proven to be a highly complex task due to implementation difficulties, deficiencies and limitations in practices, methods and support tools. Recently, seeking to fill this gap a rapprochement between the two separate areas began: Lean Production and Project Management. This work addresses the approach of these two areas, trying to highlight the impact of the use of project management methodology to support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing. Assuming the initial hypothesis that the use of Project Management had a positive impact on Lean implementation, parameters were used for the selection of Lean projects cases with the same level of complexity (risk x benefit) for metal industry companies in the state from Sao Paulo. After selecting 4 companies, with a case study in each company, the diagnostics were applied based on project management guide PMBOK (2013) to evaluate the using of Project Management level and the degree of Leanness with reference to SAE J4000 standard. In addition, the impact on the production processes from each case study has been reported during the study, based on indicators such as WIP (work in progress), Lead-time, HCO (headcount) and the used area in the shop floor. The data received from the companies showed, after analysis, the confirmation of the initial hypothesis, since there was a linearity between the use of project management and the achieved degree of Leanness. The indicators of production processes showed a significant improvement after the implementation of Lean in all the cases studied. The research contributes to experts and professionals in the area of Project Management and Lean, encouraging them to use more project management in the Lean implementation.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Se a saúde fosse nossa: processos educativos na construção da Política Municipal de Práticas Integrativas e Complementares e Educação Popular em Saúde de São Carlos - SP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-06-28) Pereira, Thalyse Santana; Montrone, Aida Victoria Garcia; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9011731777978672; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6119279258249823In this study, the process of building public health policy is characterized as a social practice - in which its participants learn and teach, mediated by the world and Faced with the process of construction of the Municipal Policy of Integrative and Complementary Practices and Popular Health Education of São Carlos - SP (PMPICEPS), we ask: What educational processes arise from the PMPICEPS construction practice? Thus, the objective of this research was to understand the educational processes resulting from the political course that intends the implementation of said policy. Therefore, a qualitative case study was carried out, termed as strategic research, guided by the Freirean popular education referential and the Dusselian referential with contributions from other authors to the composition of the analysis. Six informants participated in this study. These people are part of a group that intends to implement PMPICEPS. The methodological procedures adopted followed the following steps: exploratory phase (survey, case selection, delimitation); Data collection by recorded interviews and field diary; Insertion and conviviality with the group (which goes through all stages). The main results present the reflection of several beginnings that culminate in a common intention, permeated by actions and activity in processes of: participation, social control and participatory management; Training, communication and knowledge production; Health care; And intersectoriality and multicultural dialogues. This study presented some educational processes within two corpus of analysis that were discussed in facilitating and difficult situations in the construction of PMPICEPS. As a facilitating conjuncture we have: the interest of professionals, the population and the group; the legal framework of national policies; formative history and MAPEPS’ dialogical; the articulation with previous national processes; the autonomous target and prevention; the financial cost reduction argument; and the event of redefined health and quality of life. As difficulting conjecture, aspects such as: the current policy and management of people; the deficit / non-existent budget; prejudices; resistance to practices; context of capitalism; competition and dispute with the current model; current political crisis; as well as risks related to the dismantling of the SUS; the existence of setbacks, and drug therapy conversion of practice / culture. This study presented some educational processes within two corpus of analysis that were facilitating conjunctures and difficult conjunctures in the construction of PMPICEP. The understanding of these educational processes in conjunctions can contribute to the notoriety of the political reference of popular education in the health area, because: The SUS will not be unique, as long as health is not ours; Health will not be ours as long as politics is not ours; The PMPICEPS will not be public policy, while the SUS is not unique, our health and our policy. The 'not yet' of the consolidation of SUS, politics and health, is not its impossibility, but reiterates the emergence of its happening. And so, whoever continues is not only the struggle, who continues is the path and the walkers with and despite the struggles, in the celebrations of each given step.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Processos socioculturais da gestão ambiental na terra indígena Guarani Pinhalzinho, Tomazina, PR(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-06-28) Solano Calvo, Manuela de Jesus; Norder, Luiz Antonio Cabello; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0080353709980071;The Brazilian indigenous reality is reduced in their indigenous lands demarcated with very small spaces for its development. According to IBGE (2010), the Brazilian indigenous population is estimated at 817,963 thousand Indians, which represents 0.4% of the Brazilian population, of which 502,783 resided in indigenous lands and 315,180 resided outside these lands being distributed in the five regions of the country , In different proportions. Brazil's public policies are constantly changing; this is expressed in the National Policy on Territorial and Environmental Management of Indigenous Lands (PNGATI), which aims to guarantee the protection of natural resources through environmental management instruments. The present work paper analyzes the theme of environmental management of indigenous lands in Brazil and the specificities of this process in the Pinhalzinho Indigenous Territory, in the city of Tomazina (PR), with the main objective of characterizing the interfaces between environmental management and political organization, revaluing the culture , social identity and education. An Environmental Basic Project (PBA) has been developed there, implemented since 2012, as part of the social and environmental compensation of the Indians for the construction of the Mauá Hydroelectric Power Plant, in the Tibagi river basin. In order to do so, the present work makes an analysis through the application of semi-structured interviews and direct observation, together with local indigenous leaderships, as well as official documents and organizations and contributions of scientific literature related to environmental management in indigenous land. The research shows the specific forms of interactions between environmental management and other social, cultural and political processes in the community studied. However, socio-cultural processes contribute to environmental management within indigenous land with the development of several projects as part of the process of recovery, preservation of the Guarani culture and Nature. It points to studies on environmental education in indigenous lands, especially when one considers the multifaceted interface with the universe of culture, social identity, political organization and the conquest of rights.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Discursos da mídia sobre a legislação do trabalho doméstico no Brasil(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-06-28) Paludetto, Diane Heire Silva; Piovezani Filho, Carlos Félix; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1677609008094603; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7472862675787271Hardly ever can one glimpse professional or personal progress in a domestic work, which is known for being underrated, due to its so-called "lower valued" functions, also counting on less labor rights. Under the structures of power relations, the discourses related to domestic work in Brazil mostly include the discussion of justice in relation to a multiplicity of statements that give rise to conflicts between classes and, consequently, incite actions in search of a more dignified treatment. In this field full of asymmetries and inequalities, especially with regard to labor rights, the media discourse occupies a privileged place in the construction and propagation of "truths”. Hence, the interest in analyzing the media discourses about the labor laws regarding domestic work in Brazil. Once the social aspirations of the category gained weight from the Consolidation of Labor Laws, occurred in 1943, this historic event is chosen as a starting point to investigate the impact of media discourse about the legislation over the subject and, as arrival point, it is elected the recent Constitutional Amendment n. 72, 2013. Thus, in order to describe the materiality of media statements and its insertion into discursive formations, the corpus to be analyzed consists of news published in the last 80 years in the media vehicles with strong expression as formers of Brazilian opinion. The analysis of the media’s role in the production and circulation of meanings and transformation of discursive practices is achieved from the theoretical perspective of the French Discourse Analysis, plus the Michel Foucault’s contributions to the study of discourse, and also from Albert Hirschman and Marc Angenot with regard to them formulations about the reactionary rhetoric.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Reorganização de classes formadas por descrições de contingências sobre escolha profissional em adolescentes(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-06-28) Cippola, Nathália Sabaine; Schmidt, Andréia; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3886712611757992; Domeniconi, Camila; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9684535663947328; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1911605025436199Reorganizing classes of equivalent stimuli is to recombine the stimuli of the classes, forming new equivalence classes. The present work consists of three studies. Study 1 aimed at teaching the conditional relations between descriptions of contingencies about professional choice (group C) and visual stimuli (symbols of correct and incorrect [Group A] and undefined figures [Group B]), different relationships from those previously verified among participants, and check the occurrence (or not) of reorganization of classes by participants considered flexible or inflexible. Studies 2 and 3 had the goal to check if different procedures (the presentation of disparate descriptions of contingencies of those previously found in the participants’ history and a program of career guidance) could alter the stimuli classes set earlier. Forty (40) high school sophomores from ages between 15 and 16 years old participated in the study. The research was carried out in the students’ schools and the procedures were managed electronically. Study 1 was divided in six stages: survey of claims about professional choice (descriptions of contingencies), initial evaluation, pre-test, post-test, and final evaluation. All stages, except for survey of claims and initial /final evaluations, a matching-to-sample task was used. Twenty-one (21) students who did not present reorganization of classes in Study 1 participated in Study 2, and descriptions of contingencies different from descriptions previously verified among participants were presented in two ways: reading of informative material and interaction with the experimenter. After that, emerging relations were tested. In Study 3, twelve (12) participants (six inexperienced and six who went through other studies and did not reorganize classes) took part in a Career Guidance process, and then the reorganization of classes was tested. In Study 1, we could observe that 19 out of 40 participants reorganized classes, all considered flexible. In Study 2, the group who interacted with the researcher (11 students) presented a better reorganization of class compared to the other group. In Study 3, all 12 participants reorganized classes regarding the four descriptions of contingencies, and two participants considered flexible presented reorganization of all classes. In the three studies, a difference was verified about the percentage of reorganization of each class from the beginning of the procedure and easing in the evaluation of true or false statements. With these results, it was possible to observe the dependence of the degree of equivalence relationship between stimuli and conclude that maintaining the responses of agree and disagree with the assertions also depends on the pre-experimental history of the listener, such as being flexible or inflexible.
