Tafonomia experimental sobre peixes: geobiológicas e zooarqueológicas

Experimental Taphonomy has assisted in the simulation and understanding of variables that affect the fidelity of paleontological and zooarchaeological records. In this experimental study was tested the role of thermal action on the decomposition of Anchoviella lepidentostole "Manjuba" in different substrates. It was observed that the precooking of carcasses tends to potentiate the initial disarticulation of their parts, even before being buried. The decomposition and preservation rates also varied according to the substrates in which the fish were buried, implying morphological transformations and loss of anatomical parts. In sand, the decomposition rate of the carcasses was higher when compared to other substrates. In clay, the specimens underwent natural compression and eventually formed molds. In this substrate, the best preservation of morphological structures occurred throughout the experiment, in comparison to the others. In soil the fragmentation of the specimens occurred. Chemical and mineralogical changes on musculature and bones were evaluated using non-destructive and / or non-invasive techniques. Spectroscopic analyzes revealed promising data for understanding diagenetic changes in bones and fish musculature. Raman spectra presented changes in intensities that may be indicative of changes in bone bioapatite. Already, elemental EDS and XRF analyzes of muscle fragments indicated variations of chemical elements, including rare earth elements at low concentrations. Geobiological signs of biomineirais provide data for environmental reconstructions and indicate the extent of diagenetic changes.

The internationalization of educational policies is a relevant theme, especially considering the constant changes in the international system. On this way, this dissertation aims to analyze how the process of internationalization of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Sao Paulo has occurred, by mapping and verifying its institutional and structural aspects to better visualize the spaces, paths and opportunities of the institution. For this purpose, the research relied primarily on the historical survey related to the origins of brazilian technical and technological education system, in order to identify the origins and peculiarities of this institution for later observation of its characteristics in relation to the international insertion. In the sequence, the study was based on the analysis of the purposes and causes of the international cooperation for the development and in what forms the thematic of the education is introduced in this context, also looking for the actual position of the Brazilian internationalization of superior education. The third and last part had the specific goal to analyze how IFSP's international insertion actions have been processed to the date, describing its institutional characteristics and program coverage, culminating in conclusions about the potentialities and possible paths to be followed by this government entity.

This work presents the problem of effectiveness in the activities developed by IFSP campus Sertãozinho from two analysis movements. In the first movement, it was intended to verify the effectiveness of the students' capacity for inclusion and qualified training, an important goal of the pedagogical projects and the mission of the Federal Institutes in the recent period, with the construction of the socioeconomic profile of the students from 2008 to 2016 in the various courses offered at the institution during the period. In the second movement, taking as a central element the permanence and conclusion of the course, it was attempted to map the size and causes of evasion in some courses of the institution (Mechanical Engineering - Baccalaureate modality, Technology in Human Resources Management - Technologist modality, Chemistry - Licenciatura modality, Chemistry Technician modality - Integrated, Technician in Administration - Concurrent / Subsequent modality and Technician in Mechanics - modality EJA). Besides the measurement of these two crucial points to evaluate the actions of the IFSP / Sertãozinho regarding the inclusion goal and the training goal, the work also presents a brief description of the history of technical education - upper and middle - in Brazil and the social and the region of insertion of the institution.
O Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo - campus São João da Boa Vista: a questão do ensino médio integrado

This thesis is based on the Marxian and Gramscian theoretical-methodological perspective and has as object of study the Integrated High School in the São João da Boa Vista Campus of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo. The objective is to analyze the perspectives and conceptions of students, teachers, managers and socio-pedagogical team on the pedagogical principle of the Electronic Technician and Computer Technician Courses Integrated to High School, besides identifying the concepts in institutional documents and Brazilian legislation, as also to problematize the themes resulting from the interviews with the documents investigated. This study also enable us to understand the historical unfolding of secondary education in Brazil. We start from the hypothesis that the interviewees' discourses confirm the early professionalization of the young people of the Integrated High School, with the accentuation of the issue school duality, besides distancing itself from a project that develops the integral human formation of the students. Using the Focal Group technique, twenty-one students of the fourth grade of the courses, eleven teachers, three managers and three socio-pedagogical workers participated on this study. The research also implied the collection of data in documents of the institution, as well as in educational legislation. We problematize the questions found in the interviews from three central foundations: the condition of High School student´s youth; the pedagogical coursse proposals, based on the thesis defended by Nosella (2016a); and, finally, the issue of awareness and the need for cultural elevation of the masses. The thesis is that the issue of Integrated High School Education is identified, dialectically, with the problematic school duality, configured as a multiforme and non-unitary way. The results showed that the proposal of a single model of Brazilian High School Education should be universally applied to all social classes. In view of the current political situation, and due to the Law 13.415 / 2017 (Law of Reform of Secondary Education), the purpose is to think of a change that does not extinguish the quality of courses but can also reduce the disciplines of basic education, based on general culture. The challenges presented in this research must be overcome through a constant struggle for excellence in teaching, non-compulsory vocational education and the breakdown of school dualism in the field of hegemonic struggle.
O clipping como fonte de informação para inteligência competitiva : uma proposta para a UFSCar

The advent of the Knowledge Society has brought new challenges to the management of organizations. The speed of events and the abundance of information resulted in the need to monitor the environment and to remain flexible and open to constant changes, which requires that organizations, as well as people, are constantly learning, evaluating experiences, collecting hints and data and turning them into knowledge. Within this context, organizations need to re-evaluate traditional processes, often performed without reflection, so that they can provide this learning possibility. In light of this, by using the concepts of Competitive Intelligence and Bibliometrics, this paper proposes the elaboration of indicators for the monitoring of the institutional image and the relationship of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) with the press. The research method used was the case study and bibliometrics was the technique of information analysis applied to the analyzed sample, which comprised 3,823 bibliographical records collected by the clipping service and performed by the Coordination of Social Communication (CCS) of UFSCar (case unit). The results obtained were: 1] a set of bibliometric indicators on institutional image and relationship with the press; and 2] the diagnosis of the clipping process, in order to reformulate it. It was concluded that the indicators and the diagnosis contribute to the generation of intelligence for the decision-making process, based on data and information already collected on a regular basis by the clipping process.
