This work aimed to analyze the relational structure of patents in the automotive sector, especially for electric vehicles. More specifically, the objective was to: identify relevant patents and emerging technologies in the automotive sector; to establish the profile of deposit of patents of the main depositors, referring to the emerging technologies; identify patent relational structure; quantitatively investigate the patents of the major automobile manufacturers; to study the economic relations and patents of the great automakers and to study the technological relations and patents of the great automakers. In this research the network approach was used in conjunction with patent analysis to show the existing relationships within this industry in the construction of innovation, observing the patents deposited by these companies and the cooperation agreements made between them. Data collection was carried out through the analysis of patents of high commercial value in the automotive sector, collected through the Derwent database, collecting 111,094 patents of international patent code (CIP) B60 which refers to vehicles. The data were processed using Vatange Point software for the preparation of lists and data matrices related to specific fields of patents. By compiling the data of lists, matrices and combinations it was possible to create indicators in graphic form or in tables that were built with the help of software Microsoft Excel 2016 and the software Origin. The graphs representing the networks were obtained with the help of Gephi software. From the results, it is emphasized that the theme of electric and hybrid vehicles has become predominant in the sector, with Toyota, Bosch and Nissan companies dominate the total number of patents, and are organized in groups that gravitate around them sharing patents only with companies with strong business links, especially cross-shareholding, formal strategic alliances or joint ventures. Companies like Volkswagen and Honda have a high number of patents, but no technological partnership between automakers. Others, such as Fiat, Ford and General Motors have no patents, but seek to position themselves within cooperative networks in order to remain competitive in the marketplace. There are still companies like Hyundai, which has no patents in the sample analyzed and at the same time does not establish technological alliances. Thus, it was sought to understand how part of the technological capital is distributed by the automotive sector, in order to collaborate for a better understanding of the sector.

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-03-29) Nunes, Amanda Angélica Feltrin; Madeira, Gustavo Ferron; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1540196066117667; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2298201351246179
This work concerns multiplicity of solutions to some nonhomogeneous and nonlocal elliptic problems. The nonlocal term on the operator is of Kirchhoff type and it may be degenerated or not, continuous or discontinouos at the origin. The operator herein includes several examples appearing in the applications like p-laplace, (p,q)-Laplace, generalized p-mean curvature among others. The source terms include concave-convex terms, sublinear or superlinear term which can be local or nonlocal, pertubation of those, and functions satisfying a nonquadraticity condition at infinity. The results proved in this work assure the existence of infinitely many negative energy solutions, infinitely many positive energy solutions whose energy divergs to +\infty and, in some cases, multiplicity of positive solutions.

Although the artificial incubation of wild-bird eggs has progressed in the last decades, this tool is still rudimentary when compared to the technology applied in the poultry industry, which presented considerable advances in order to maximize eggs hatchability. To wild species, parameters such as temperature and humidity of the incubator are often determined by trial and error, taking into account only the hatching rate of the incubated eggs. In this sense, the information generated by embryodiagnosis is of great value in the incubation of unconventional eggs because they offer a greater detail on the causes of birth failure (egg infertility, transport, storage, age and reproductive nutrition, etc.). Thus, the present study aimed to describe the different stages of the embryonic development of representatives of the Anseriformes, Galliformes and Psittaciformes orders of the species Cygnus atratus, Pavo cristatus and Nymphicus hollandicus, respectively. The eggs were incubated at a standard temperature and humidity for each species and, to describe the development, embryos with less than 50% of the incubation period were euthanized by hyportemia and, above this period, by anesthetic overdose using the Halothane 100% inhalant liquid. In total, 238 eggs were incubated, but due to the natural deaths during the incubation process, 67 embryos were described so far, with the final two thirds of the incubation period prioritized. Due to the difficulty in acquiring viable eggs and the reduced number of embryos per day of incubation, the development picture presented gaps, so the research will continue. We believe the continuity of this study will provide subsidies for the improvement of techniques of artificial incubation of eggs, an indispensable instrument in programs of conservation of several species of wild birds.

Introduction: the experience of the mourning process is unique and it will develop according to the characteristics of the bereaved and the circumstances of death, which has been occurring more and more in hospitals due to the technological advances in health. Studies show the importance of caring for the bereaved who are experiencing difficulties in drawing up the loss in order to avoid the establishment of complicated mourning. From the implantation of the National Policy of Humanization, changes in health care models were proposed aiming the integral care and redefinition of the hospital's function in the health system, opening space to reformulate the performance according to the characteristics of the service and patient´s need, allowing for a rethinking of care practices including the social support network involved. Objective: this research aimed to understand the repercussions of the interventions performed by a public hospital in the interior of the state of São Paulo in the process of elaboration mourning families of patients who died in the institution and promoting a discussion about grief assistance and the accomplishment of these things by hospitals. Method: this is a qualitative research used was a comprehensive approach based on the sociological phenomenology described by Minayo (2014), the instrument used was the semi-structured interview with bereaved relatives who attended the Grief Reception Group and the analysis of the material was collected through the content analysis of Bardin (1977). Results: the bereaved relatives expressed suffering to face the bereavement even of a predictable death and the need for a bereavement to be heard and to be understood in the face of the feelings and difficulties experienced that goes beyond the loss. They identified as favorable the interventions performed by the hospital, for being reminded, not to feel alone and to the possibility to exchange these experiences with other pelople who are experiencing similar situation, to understand the natural reactions and finding comfort and support to face the mourning. Final considerations: the research shows many possibilities of mourning interventions that can be performed in several places. It also showed the benefit of bereavement care being performed in hospitals because of the the bond already established previously and the comfort felt by the family in contact with the health team after the patient´s death. The mourning of deaths understood as natural and expected, despite bringing suffering to families is neglected. There is then a need to rethink the health practices of institutions, including hospitals, to change the current reality of carelessness in mourning.

Mídium e gestão da paratopia criadora: o trabalho inscricional do Clube Atlético Passarinheiro
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-03-29) Pinto, Pedro Alberto Ribeiro; Salgado, Luciana Salazar; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5206927424265495; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4781565686926861
By subscribing to a certain tradition of Discourse Analysis derived from the works of Dominique Maingueneau (2006) in an interface with the studies of the literary and cultural materialities, this work searchs for an understanding of the author's identities of the group of poets Club Atlético Passarinheiro and its members Luiza Romão, Ni Brisant and Victor Rodrigues, understanding the concept of authorship as a discursive place to which texts refer, both in their ways of circulation and in their textual mesh (SALGADO, 2016a). With this objective in mind, this dissertation focuses mainly on the aspects of the Club's inscriptional work, turning to a wider archive that circumscribes the phenomenon of poetry slams, poetic battles whose increasing consolidation in Brazil and in the world has acted as base for different discursivizations of the body, voice and poetry. As a specific corpus, it takes certain materialities related to the first practices of the collective when it emerges, investigating the relations established between the configuration of the constitutive instances of its creative paratopia (MAINGUENEAU, 2006, 134) and the mediological functioning of its practices - the particular way in which the technical vectors and institutional vectors cross one another in these discursive processes.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia in world population, accounting for around 60% of all dementia cases and affecting nearly 20% of the population above the age of 80 years. It is an irreversible degenerative disease that causes loss of mental function due to deterioration of brain tissue. This disease is able to develop itself in different ways and its symptoms usually show up gradually. The most common prognostics include the inability to mentally record new information, some degree of difficulty to solve simple problems and to complete familiar tasks at home, confusion about current time and place and trouble to understand visual images. Currently, hippocampus reduction is considered one of the most important, and commonly used AD biomarker. However, despite its clinical use, hippocampal volume reduction is involved not only in AD but also in other dementias and even in healthy aging. In this context, this research aims to create an automatic computational technique capable of detecting and classify structural changes in magnetic ressonance (MR) images that differ from AD when compared to cognitively normal (CN) patients. For this, a probabilistic atlas of 3D salient points was built using a dataset of healthy brain images. 3D salient points were detected in the training dataset with CN and mild-AD brain images and used to label each atlas points. Then, the 3D salient points detected in each training dataset image were "matched" against the labeled points in the atlas, and their descriptors vectors were used to train two classifiers, K-NN and SVM-RBF. After that, 3D salient points were detected for each image from the test dataset, and its respective descriptor was used to find equivalent salient points in the atlas. Their descriptors were inserted and classified in K-NN and SVM-RBF classifiers. Finally, each image was labeled accordingly to the majority of points classified in the corresponding class. This technique was tested in different age groups of the ADNI database (with a total of 551 MR images) and the results were evaluated using ROC curve and 10-fold cross-validation. The highest accuracy value achieved by this technique was 85% (up to 82.59% sensitivity and 88.50% specificity) for the 70-89 age group and the highest AUC was 0.9227.

The accessibility to the catalytic sites is one of the main objectives involving the development of heterogeneous catalysts. In this context, several researches seek the reduction of crystal diameters or the creation of mesopores in zeolites. The present work presents a new way of increasing the accessibility to the sites through the synthesis of embryonic zeolites. This method consists of obtaining structures that have a short range order, which improves mass transfer and leads to better catalytic results, especially in the processing of larger molecules. For this, the study of formation of FAU, LTA and SOD structures was carried out, associated with the catalytic evaluation of Knoevenagel condensation between benzaldehyde and ethyl cyanoacetate. The synthesis of the microporous sieves was performed under various times at 60 °C and all materials obtained (with and without crystallinity) were evaluated as catalysts. The highest conversions of the condensation reagents were always achieved by the zeolite embryos, regardless of the structure that originated. This higher activity is related to the secondary units of construction of the zeolite structure, as observed by Raman spectroscopy, these units are formed during the induction period. While the zeolite structure is in formation all the catalytic sites are accessible to the reactants, as the crystallization process is initiated, some of the sites become inaccessible and consequently a reduction in catalytic activity is due. By means of the CO2 TPD technique, zeolites with high crystallinity have a higher number of sites compared to their homologues containing only the embryos, but the catalytic activity does not reflect this trend. That is, as verified by N2 physisorption, embryonic zeolites have no micro- or mesoporosity and hence bulky molecules of reagents have access to all sites. The presence of aluminum with tetrahedral coordination in all embryonic zeolites was evidenced by NMR technique. The zeolite embryos that gave rise to the LTA structure prove to be the most active catalyst of their FAU and SOD homologues. This higher activity is related to the fact that this catalyst has a higher content of aluminum in its network, that is, a larger number of basic sites. When performing XPS measurements and calculating activity by site (TOF0), it was found that the catalytic activity of the zeolite embryos is mainly dependent on the number of sites.

Despite recent advances in cancer prevention and treatment, bladder urothelial carcinoma continues to be one of the most common types of malignant neoplasms in the world, with a 20% mortality rate. The cells and molecules of the immune system are fundamental components of the tumor microenvironment. Probably the fact that the neoplastic cell shares antigens with normal cells, have high growth rate and suffer edition, contributes to its resistance to the antitumor immune response. Even with these obstacles, the immune response remains one of the best bets in the malignant neoplasms treatment. In the past, homeostatic cell death, which often occurs through apoptosis, was irrelevant to the antitumor immune response since it was unable to stimulate the immune system. However, in recent years, it has been observed that certain types of apoptosis were able to induce immune response against dead cell antigens, particularly when they were derived from malignant neoplasms. This type of phenomenon was called immunogenic cell death (ICD). Despite advances in the discovery of the mechanisms involved in cell death associated with various tumor lines, no work to date has evaluated its efficacy in the model of bladder cancer induced by chemotherapeutics commonly used in the treatment of this disease. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to evaluate the action of cisplatin, mitoxantrone, daunorubicin, doxorubicin and epirubicin on the viability of MB49 lineage cellsand to identify the best dose with apoptotic activity of cisplatin, mitoxantrone, daunorubicin and doxorubicin. The results showed that chemotherapeutics agents, in their pharmaceutical formulation, performed well against MB49 cells in vitro. Cisplatin and mitoxantrone proved to be efficient in producing apoptosis, but only in vivo tests could confirm their immunogenic effect on these cells. In addition, this work showed that the effects of viability may be quite divergent depending on the dose and time evaluated and the need for a follow-up of viability after treatment withdrawal. In addition, this work showed that the effects of viability might be quite divergent depending on the dose and time evaluated and the need to observe viability after treatment withdrawal. It is concluded that the drug formulations of daunorubicin, epirubicin, doxorubicin and mitoxantrone produced varying degrees of apoptotic death in vitro, depending on exposure time and drug concentration.

The Health Care Networks (HCN) in Brazil are essential for the coordination and integration of services, aiming the integrality and qualification of care, expanding strategies for health promotion, disease prevention and its complications. Between 2011 and 2012, five themes were agreed for these networks and one of them is the Attention to Non-Communicable Chronic Diseases (NCCD), which aims to provide fully attention to the health care for people with these diseases, which are associated with several causes. These diseases have a prognosis of long duration, they may also manifest disfigurement and generate disabilities. The basic care (BC) is a strategy of the Networks and the São Paulo State Department of Health created the program of articulators of basic care, which has the role of supporting, advising and developing actions for their qualification. The work becomes relevant because of the epidemiological picture of these diseases and their serious consequences for the affected individuals and their relatives, the increasement of the demand for care of these diseases in the health units and, consequently, a high cost for the country and municipalities. This work aimed to analyze the Network of Attention for People’s Health with Non-Communicable Chronic Diseases from the perspective of its articulators. The methodological approach was qualitative, with the use of a semi-structured script for interviews conducted in October 2017 with the four articulators working in the NCCD Network in two municipalities of medium size in the countryside of São Paulo State, with subsequent entirety transcription of the interviews and thematic categorical analysis , in which the goal is to identify, in the people’s speech, the meaning and values in relation to the object of study, taking into account the theoretical and methodological framework. The results found indicate weaknesses in the communication among the levels of attention, fragmentation of the care network, non-articulation of care lines and the need for more investments in basic care. The lack of human and financial resources has a direct impact on the implementation and functioning of this HCN. It is important to create strategies to sensitize the managers and shared management that best develop health actions, optimizing the work process, quality of care and life, both users and health workers.
