listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Proposta para a minimização da demanda de energia no horário de ponta por sistemas de geração fotovoltaico(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-04-04) Gonçalves, Luiz Paulo Cardoso Florencio; Barreto, Douglas; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7369326190168139; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2769365547819103The potential shortage of natural resources, the increased demand for energy and the environmental impacts caused by the use of polluting energy sources have generated constant discussions and uncertainties about the world's energy future, thus boosting the demand for new alternatives energy. The photovoltaic generated electric energy is one with the greatest growth potential in Brazil, but one of the problems is the fact that peak hours (hours of higher energy consumption) are outside the generation period of photovoltaic (PV) systems, which depends on sunlight. With this, the load curves of each consumer, their consumption habits and the main forms used by them for water heating. In addition the types of photovoltaic generation system and the Brazilian panorama regarding the use of this type of energy were revised with the intention to combine a photovoltaic generation system and an electric water heating system by accumulation, thus displacing peak hour demand, in addition to supplying much of the daily energy demand of this consumer. Based on data provided by the energy concessionaire, the actual demand curves of each consumer were defined, then a PV generation system was designed and so a water heating system by accumulation. Then the new consumer demand curve (using FV conjugated with a water heating by accumulation system) was compared to the actual demand curve of this consumer. This achieved a reduction of up to 66% in peak demand and when extrapolated to the residential consumers of the city in which the study was carried out, could cause a peak displacement equivalent to 11% of the total energy consumed in the municipality in the year 2017.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Relações apaixonadas, investimentos obsessivos: uma etnografia sobre colecionismo e o mercado brasileiro de arte contemporânea(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-04-04) Cordova, Dayana Zdebsky de; Leirner, Piero de Camargo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3883880276055777; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5279214298212769This is an ethnography about private art collections and the primary Brazilian contemporary arts market. More specifically, the thesis addresses a facet at the center of power and visibility in this market, one among many within the contemporary arts. A context in which artworks are bought and sold, an elite market pervaded by calculations and narrative strategies, which more than analytical are producers of this very market. The market in question is hereby presented and contextualized through an event that concentrates narratives and brings together in a single place, for a few days, different visual arts actors: the art fair. Most of all, however, this is a thesis about passion, obsession, knowledge building, and investment – the forces that drive art buyers, pervade moralities, categorize collectors and collections, move the market as a whole, and which produce and are produced by relationships between individuals and corporations, between humans and art works.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Adequando mulheres produzindo "vítimas": uma análise sobre o discurso do Esquadrão da Moda(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-04-04) Pedro, Ana Carolina de Souza; Leite Júnior, Jorge; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7253561448346772; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6434124535498332This dissertation aims to discuss the moral pedagogy that focuses on the female body, taking as empirical object the reality show "Esquadrão da Moda", transmitted weekly by SBT. As basic methodological procedures, interviews with participants, friends and/or family members and professionals of the program team, as well as a content analysis of the episodes exhibited in the period from 2012 to 2016. We sought to select those in which the themes related to the main objective of the research: those that are indicated by women to dress sensuously, considering their association with the image of "piriguete" and, sometimes, with that of the call-girl, which most critical way involve control over body exposure and the perception of fashion as a set of codes and rules that dictate "good taste".
