listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Correspondência fazer-dizer em adultos: o controle pela audiência em um jogo virtual(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-04-20) Alves, Cristiane; Rose, Julio Cesar Coelho de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3386857761295187; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4469078180637818Studying the relationship between what is done and what is said has occurred in several sciences, including Behavior Analysis. The present study employed do-say sequence and examined, experimentally, the effect of the audience on the phenomenon of correspondence in self-report in adults. The first stage of this thesis consisted in the elaboration, production and testing of a 3D virtual game with the function of an instrument for data collection. The next step was data collection and analysis. Ten male college students were submitted to the game. The experimental task consisted in collecting red and green objects in the game scenario and reporting "yes/no", if they collected the reds that were prohibited. Audiences were established through the characters of the game, one of which indicated only punishment, another only reinforcement and another signalized, in an ambiguous way, both punishment and reinforcement. After the game, the participants evaluated, through a questionnaire, the game and the characters, with the objective to check if they responded adequately to the programmed characterization for the audiences. The results indicated a higher frequency of distorted reports for the audiences that indicated punishment or ambiguity between punishment and reinforcement. This indicates that the audience had an effect on the accuracy of verbal reports of adults in a virtual environment.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Propriedades eletrônicas de nanofios semicondutores de Fosfeto de Zinco (Zn3P2)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-04-20) Lombardi, Gustavo Aparecido; Chiquito, Adenilson José; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7087360072774314; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3441225740859785Zinc phosphide Zn3P2 nanowires with excellent crystalline quality were grown using the Vapor-Liquid-Solid (VLS) method with gold nanoparticles as catalysts. Single nanowire based devices were fabricated with ohmic nickel contacts. Thermally activated and variable range hopping mechanisms were simultaneously identified from temperature dependent transport measurements, with the later being dominant. Energy levels at 197 meV , 47 meV and 15meV associated to Zn vacancies and interstitial P atoms were identified. Hopping radius were found to be 58 nm for 300 K. These results show how the presence of some degree of disorder drastically affects the transport of current through the nanowire. Photocurrent measurements revealed the material potential as light sensors. Current gains as high as 400% and 660% were measured for white light and 660 nm laser, respectively.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Histórias e memórias de lideranças surdas em Pernambuco(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-04-20) Vasconcelos, Norma Abreu e Lima Maciel de Lemos; Lacerda, Cristina Broglia Feitosa de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9468232016416725; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4261347568631671This thesis is based on his historical and cultural approach, wich recognizes the historicity of the human being, values the transmissin of socially acquiered knowledge, assumes that constitutions of the subject happens from relations with the environmment and also emphasizes that human language is conceived in social life, referring to the ideia that is her, by her and with her that the individual will be constituted. The theoretical dialogues with legal issues, with public policies and social movements that have permeated the education of the deaf person was constituted from his own narratives and thus to look at: his educational trajectory; challenges to their educacional background; the marks left by their linguistic singularity; and the school in the process of social interaction and development of these people and the emergence of deaf communit and deaf movements in Pernambuco. In this way, the objectives are: a) to outline the profile of constitution of the deaf person in the state of Pernambuco, through educational aspects, stories and memories narrated by leades of deaf movements; b) to know how in that state the deaf collective that has dominion and makes use of sign language has been formed and c) to identify how aspects of social movements were fomented and what is the role of education in this history. It is a qualitative research, based on Oral History referred to, Meihhy by Thompson, Meihy and Montenegro. The Oral History of Life reconizes and values people as subjects of their own history. Eleven deaf leaders were selected, all fluent in Pounds, residing in Pernambuco (state of Pernambuco). The results show that human development is not restricted only the biological factor, but encompasses the historical, the human and the social factor, and encompasses the historical, the human and the social. The cultural constitutucion of the interviewees was crossed by the other (deaf and listener), who, in the process of interaction, made them construct concepts and meanings that reaffirmed their reality over time. From the reports, the analyzes were organized in the follow axes: family environment, language, educacional trajectory and involvement in social movements. The family participed in social interactions without sharing sign language, except in cases of deaf parents, and dealt better with their menbers was deaf. Sign language was acquired in adolescence by the majorit, in the encounter with another deaf, in its educacional trajectory, that was marked by evasions, repetition, failure. However, the school in which Libras was present (common school or school of the deaf) was signified as na interaction loci, a place of coexistence between peers, impelling other meetings in other spaces, thus contributing to the formation of the deaf movements. The associations, militants and social participations were present in all the narratives. It is believed that it is important to carry out more research that uses the History of Life method, allowing a moment of “listening” to is collaborators, to deepen the knowledge about the education of the deaf in Brazil.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Efeito modulador do extrato total do Paenibacillus polymyxa RNC-D em macrófagos e Leishmania (Leishmania) amazonensis in vitro(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-04-20) Neris, Débora Meira; Sousa, Cristina Paiva de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9002619114161319; Anibal, Fernanda de Freitas; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4918261968772806; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8420021026488937Leishmaniasis is an infection caused by Leishmania gender protozoa. The treatment of the disease is generally problematic, as the drugs used on clinical practice are toxic. One of the paths in the search for new therapeutic targets is the study of endophytic microorganisms-produced substances. In this study, the Total Lyophilized Extract (TLE) of the endophytic Paenibacillus polymyxa RNC-D was used, which was isolated from the Cerrado of São Carlos, Brazil. The TLE was assessed in terms of citotoxicity, ON production and citokynes production on BALB/3T3 fibroblasts, J774A.1 macrophages, RAW 264.7 macrophages, as well as directly on promastigote and amastigote stages of Leishmania (L) amazonensis. Our results have shown that the mortality rate of 50% (EC50) of fibroblasts (BALB/3T3) was of 1,171 mg/mL and 0,956 mg/mL after 48 and 72 hours, respectively. For macrophages (J774A.1) the mortality rate of 50% took place on doses of 0,994 mg/mL and 0,945 mg/mL after 48 and 72 hours, respectively. Regarding cellular death, at the period of 24 hours, the extract induced apoptosis and necrosis from the concentration of 5mg/mL in fibroblast (BALB/3T3) and from ≈1 mg/mL in macrophage (J774A.1). The threatment with ≈1 mg/mL concentration of the ETL induced TNF-α, IFN-γ and IL-10 cytokine production at the 24 hours period. The IL-10 had its production detected up to the 48 hours period, whereas the IL-12 was detected only at this period. For the toxicity essay on L. amazonensis promastigotes, the values of EC50 obtained at the 24 and 48 hours period were of 0,624 mg/mL and 0,547 mg/mL, respectively. Regarding promastigotes death percentage, our result have shown that the 0,5 mg/mL concentration induced death of 31% at the 24 hours period and 35% at 48 hours. As for the concentration of 1mg/mL of the extract, the death percentage was of 59% and 62% at the periods of 24 and 48 hours, respectively. For the parasitary load essay, it was observed a percentage of 25% of infected cells with na average of 3 amastigotes/cell for the groups treated with 0,1; 0,5 and 1 mg/mL of the TLE at both periods. Regarding cytokine production on RAW 264.7 macrophage that were infected/treated with the extract, a significant increase of TNF-α was observed at both periods for all tested concentrations. Concerning IFN-γ cytokine, its significant production was only observed at the 48 hours period in the 1mg/mL concentration, whereas the IL-12 production was only significant in the 0,5 mg/mL at the same period. A significant decrease of IL-4 was observed in all treated groups with the TLE at the 24 hours period. The significant ON production by RAW 264.7 macrophages was observed in the groups treated with 0.5 mg/mL and 1 mg/mL of the extract on both periods of 48 and 72 hours. Due to its modulatory action of the immunological activity, it is suggested that the TLE of P. Polymyxa RNC-D is a promising target for the development of new immunotherapeutical drugs for the treatment of several diseases, including, but not limited to, leishmaniasis.
