listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Pessoas com deficiências na Assembleia Nacional Constituinte (1987-1988): reivindicações no campo educacional(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-05-18) Amorim, Joyce Fernanda Guilanda de; Caiado, Kátia Regina MorenoThis paper analyzes how the legal mechanisms for the education of people with disabilities in the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), 1987/1988, the historical moment that culminated in the Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil promulgation, on October 5th 1988, as well as the participation of people with disabilities and entities involved in public hearings in the Subcommittee of Black people, Indigenous Populations, People with Disabilities and Minorities, as well as the discussion on education in the Subcommittee on Education, Culture and Sports. The research was subdivided into four chapters: the first chapter is composed of the knowledge production, based on the research carried out using the keywords "Social Movements", "National Constituent Assembly" and "People with Disabilities" at Digital Databank of Thesis and Dissertations - BDTD, of the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology - IBICT; the second chapter dealt with the events during the civil-military dictatorship (1964/1965), the Brazilian Democratic Movement the performance in opposition to the Arena and the called by the Constituent; chapter three covers the end of the civil-military dictatorship, as well as the historical process that culminated in the indirect election of Tancredo Neves to president and José Sarney as vice president; the fourth chapter dealt with the civil Society profile that participated in the discussions on people with disabilities, its organization to elaborate the proposals presented at a public hearing in the Subcommittee on Blacks, Indigenous Populations, Disabled People and Minorities, in addition to the other constituent phases and works, with a view to articles aimed at the people with disabilities education and philanthropic institutions. As a research result, it was pointed out that many claims of people with disabilities were contemplated in the Constitutional text. It was found that the participation of Deputy Nelson de Carvalho Seixas influenced the process of some subjects for people with disabilities. It was noted the parliamentarians lack of knowledge about the proposals of these people discussed during the ANC, and that education became the right of everyone, the State and the family duty, as well as guaranteeing specialized educational service, preferably in the regular network of education.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Adição de Michael de α,α-Diciano-Olefinas a Chalconas via organocatálise assimétrica empregando solvente derivado de biomassa(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-05-18) Martelli, Lorena Suelen Ribeiro; Corrêa, Arlene Gonçalves; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7425467156776144; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0303515313359935In recent years, organocatalysed reactions have become an important field in asymmetric synthesis. Particularly, Michael addition reactions using various donors and acceptors have been explored to generate substrates that can be used as building blocks in other transformations. Chalcones, for example, are widely used as Michael acceptors not only because of their privileged reactivity but also due to their biological activities already reported. On the other hand, the α,α-dicyanoolefins proved to be a very versatile reagent, capable of acting as Michael acceptors as well as vinylogous nucleophiles in organocatalysed reactions. However, to date, the addition of α,α-dicyanoolefins to chalcones has not yet been explored. Considering the potential biological activity of the products, in this study, we report the use of a bifunctional catalyst derived from the alkaloid cinchona to perform the enantioselective addition of α,α-dicyanoolefins to chalcones. Based on preliminary results obtained in our research group, the Michael addition reaction was optimized by investigating time, acid additive, temperature, catalyst loading and solvent. Looking for more environmentally sustainable conditions, we have tested a series of greener solvents and the bio-derivative 2-MeTHF at 15 mol% of catalyst proved to be the best for this transformation. Having established the best reaction condition for this reaction, we investigated the scope and limitations of the developed protocol, where 17 new compounds were synthesized with yields in the range of 28-66% and 71-98% enantiomeric excesses. With the goal to increase the structural diversity, attempts to cyclize the Michael adducts were performed using different bases and acids.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Paleobiologia de Corumbella werneri (Ediacarano, Grupo Corumbá): implicações paleoecológicas e evolutivas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-05-18) Sampaio, Guilherme; Pacheco, Mírian Liza Alves Forancelli; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3481327026891705; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6539495640941971The Edicaran period (635-541 Ma) was characterized by great changes on the planet, among them, important modifications on the biosphere. In this time interval there was a diversification of unicellular Eucarya, including their macroscopic forms. A representative of the Ediacara-Cambrian boundary is the fossil Corumbella werneri, scyphozoa, firstly described in the pellets of the Tamengo Formation. Corumbella werneri might have been one of the first animals capable of synthetising hard-parts, in a context in which active predation was still being stablished. Due to this, the work here presented, had as objectives: (1) to verify mineralogical and chemical composition of the carapace of Corumbella; (2) to investigate palaeoecological aspects of this organism; (3) To narrow the evolutionary affinities; (4) to ascertain the existence of other taxa associated. For this, it was used non-destructive techniques, such as MicroCT and spectroscopy, allied with petrography. Different intensities of calcite and kerogen were verified on the carapace of Corumbella, indicating a possibility of an organo-mineralized skeleton. Data about the taxonomy of Corumbella revealed that it is a sister-group of conulariids. As for the other components of the paleobiota of Tamengo Formation, microfossil studies showed ovoids structures and acritarches. These ovoids structures have been found associated with Corumbella specimens, and have been interpreted as a result of the interaction between microbial mats and the substract. For the acantomorphic acritarches, here described for the first time in a new locality of Tamengo Formation. They were characterized, mostly, as Bavlinella sp e Leiosphaeridia spp.. In an important way, the identification of acritarches strengthens biostratigraphic studies, which might stablish biozones for the Late Ediacara, in this unit. Therefore, this work presents new data which contribute both for the general knowledge about paleoecology and taxonomy, and generates new insights and questions that might be answered in future studies.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Análise dos efeitos da interação solo-estrutura em edifícios estruturados em aço(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-05-18) Guimarães, Renan Moura; Souza, Alex Sander Clemente de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3572504605209699; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7288130337873338The present work presents a comparative study between different steel structures on shallow foundations (single footing) and deep foundation (piles) with the purpose of identify the effects of the consideration of the soil-structure interaction (SSI) on the structural analysis. The SSI consideration is a refinement of the structural analysis, currently allowed through the evolution of the computer science and where the deformability of the soil in the structural model is taken into account. In the literature are found several studies on the effects of SSI in the structural analysis regarding the structures of reinforced concrete, however for steel structures there is a need to deepen the studies. In this work 5 steel structures and their respective shallow and deep foundations were designed, where the number of floors was varied (4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 floors), and consequently the types of bracing. Initially the structures were analyzed considering the rigid support, then they were analyzed considering the deformability of the soil and the obtained results were compared to each other. For the SSI consideration, the Winkler Hypothesis was used, through the coefficients of reactions (vertical and horizontals). An application was developed in order to streamline the process of obtaining coefficients. Were analyzed the results of support reactions and bending moments at the base of the columns, global stability coefficients B2, lateral displacements and soil displacement. The results show that the axial compression forces, bending moments and soil displacements were not significant, possibly due to the lightness of the steel structures, since the lateral displacements show major changes due to the withdrawal of the rotation restriction of the support and consideration of the real rotation stiffness of the column-footing connection, the coefficients of global stability also suffered significant variations, where there were changes in the classification of the steel structure from small to medium displacement, which would imply different considerations in the structural analysis. The work carried out intends to initiate the studies of the SSI consideration in the analysis of the steel structures, thus improving the degree of refinement of the structural analysis.
