This study evaluated the influence of three methods of soil preparation in the initial development of Eucalyptus grandis x Eucalyptus urophylla. The treatments used were: manual pit, specialized subsoiling and conventional subsoling. The experimental design applied entailed randomized blocks, being 6 repetitions with 100 plants per parcel. Plant height evaluations were made at 4, 8 and 12 months and the canopy base diameter at 4 and 8 months. The diameter of the breast height and the volume were also evaluated 12 months after planting. The data was subjected to the analisys of varience and complemented with Tukey test to 5% probability for averege comparisons. The following results were obtained: the average height of plants was influenced by the method of soil preparation in all evaluations, being the specialized method superior to the others the average canopy base diameter was higher in the specialized method, but it did not present statistical difference in the other tow methods (at 4 and 8 months), at 12 months the diameter of the breast height as well as the estimated volume of wood for specialized and pit method were superior to the conventional method. Based on the results of plant growth at height, conopy base diameter and diameter of the breast height, the specialized method soil preparing is recommeded, as it resulted in greater benefits to plants at an early stage of development. It should be highlighted that these results are preliminary and it is important to continue with further evaluations, allowing data to be obtained throughout the entire crop cycle.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Modos massivos e paredes de domínio em líquidos de Fermi(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-06-11) Brentan, Henrique Brito; Farinas, Paulo Eduardo Fornasari; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0309157540839329; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6913896396761819In this thesis, we use Fermi liquid theory to deal with three problems. The first and second problems are about a direct and an indirect detection of the amplitude massive ‘‘Higgs’’ mode in weak ferromagnets like ZrZand M nSi predicted by the ferromagnetic Landau Fermi liquid theory. The third problem is the enhanced domain wall velocities due to strong ferromagnetic fluctuations. We divided this thesis as follow: In chapter one, we did a general introduction to what this thesis deal with. In chapter two we review some topics in Fermi liquid theory necessary to understand the text ahead. In chapter three we approach the problem about the collective massive ‘‘Higgs’’ mode in weak ferromagnets and we also showed our results (dispersion relaxation and structure form factor) what can be compared with experimental results obtained from inelastic neutron scattering (a direct detection of the amplitude ‘‘Higgs’’ mode). We calculated the spectra of the collective modes in the presence of an external magnetic field and we observed that the massive amplitude ‘‘Higgs’’ mode has a 3-fold degeneracy when the spin vector wave q is not parallel either perpendicular to the external magnetic field ẑ. Still, in chapter three, we obtained a promising equation of state to the magnetization when we consider a second order phase transition theory to the energy of the ferromagnetic Fermi liquid and when we keep all second-order terms in the expansion of magnetization and in deviation of distribution function due to Fermi surface distortion. It was done to explain the Yelland observation of the decay of magnetization on weak ferromagnets like ZrZwhich it does not occur like in F e i.e. it is not a consequence of spin wave effects (magnons) and the decay of magnetization can be related to ‘‘Higgs’’. In chapter four, we introduced briefly the concept of the domain wall and we studied the dynamic of it for the situation where an induced electric current is applied to it. We assume the electric current charge carriers to behave like Fermi liquid. Research shows that the inclusion of spirituality in the therapeutic processes can improve the patients’ quality of life as well as stimulate either a faster healing process or confrontation with the diseases. Thus, spirituality has been gaining ground in the academic world, being increasingly present in the triad patient-care in health-support team. This study aimed to identify how health professionals who working in the infectious diseases ward at Américo Brasiliense State Hospital, located in Américo Brasiliense, São Paulo, signify spirituality and how they offer spiritual care to hospitalized patients. This is an observational study with a qualitative approach, was carried out with 25 health professionals. Data collection was conducted through an open interview consisting of two guiding questions: "What does spirituality mean to you?" and "How do you offer spiritual care to hospitalized patients in the ward of infectious-contagious diseases?" examined using thematic content analysis. The results showed that professionals conceptualize spirituality as the connection with the transcendent, sometimes calling it God or superior Being, and perform spiritual care based on their own conception of spirituality, which causes difficulties when the subject, the focus of care, has a concept of spirituality divergent from that of the professional. Both the lack of and the little knowledge of the subject was highlighted as a limiting factor in the approach to the spirituality in the process of health care.
