listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Tendências altitudinais na diversidade de Ichneumonidae (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonoidea) com ênfase na subfamília Pimplinae em área de Mata Atlântica da Serra do Japi, Jundiaí, SP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-08-29) Higa, Priscilla Tominaga; Dias, Angélica Maria Penteado Martins; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8637344058859147; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2237791342984283The objective of this work was to evaluate the diversity of Ichneumonidae (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonoidea), with emphasis on the subfamily Pimplinae at three different altitudes in the Serra do Japi Biological Reserve, Jundiaí, SP, Brazil. The samples were collected using malaise traps installed at altitudes of 896 m (A1), 1,082 m (A2) and 1,190 m (A3) in a period of one year (October 2015 to October 2016). A total of 4,196 specimens of Ichneumonidae were collected from 18 subfamilies. Cryptinae, Pimplinae, Campopleginae, Ichneumoninae and Orthocentrinae were the most abundant subfamilies. The highest altitude site (3) showed greater abundance with 1,625 individuals (38.73%); in the other two collection points (A1 and A2) presented greater wealth (18 subfamilies). The subfamilies with cenobiont habits (11) were the most abundant (56.12%). The highest diversity and equitability indexes were found at the lowest altitude; the highest quantitative similarity occurred between the lowest and highest altitudes; the highest qualitative similarity was found between the lowest and intermediate altitude sites. The 745 specimens of Pimplinae were identified in 18 genera and 91 morphospecies. Males accounted for 50.6% and females accounted for 49.4%. The most frequent specimens were of the genus Pimpla (54.23%) and Neotheronia (16.37%). P. caerulea Brullé, 1846 was the most frequent species (43.62%). For Pimplinae, idiobionts were more frequent (530) attributed to 3 genera. The abundance was higher in the lower altitude site, with 293 specimens collected; the highest richness in the highest altitude site, with 56 morphospecies. Higher values of diversity and equitability index for Pimplinae were found at intermediate altitude, and the lowest and highest altitude sites were similar quantitatively; and the intermediate and high altitudes qualitatively. At different times of the year, the highest abundance values of Ichneumonidae and Pimplinae were recorded in hot and rainy periods. A new species was found for the genus Acrothapus and two for the genus Polysphincta. The Serra do Japi is home to important fauna of Ichneumonidae and Pimplinae, which makes it necessary to increase knowledge in this region.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Dádivas de além-túmulo: circulação e hierarquia no espiritismo Kardecista(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-08-29) Barbosa, Allan Wine Santos; Lanna, Marcos Pazzanese Duarte; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8355559441138016; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5082174765406564vThis research aims to ethnographically study the circuits of exchange that are established between incarnated and disincarnated agents in the activities of a spiritist center in the city of São Carlos (state of São Paulo). Through the description of what is done on a daily basis within a spiritist institution, the analysis seeks to apprehend the circuits of gifts and hierarchical processes involved in lectures, psychic sessions, prayers, passes, study groups and charitable practices, focusing on the effects of relationships thus established and its centrality in the construction of the spiritist notion of person. Spiritist practitioners establish their religious experiences around the movement of energies, words, spirits, knowledge, healing, feelings, messages, objects, etc. Such sets of spiritual and material goods constantly traverse the planes of existence (physical and spiritual) and evolutionary layers that make up the kardecist view of the cosmos. This image of the universe is organized in terms of hierarchical levels, a principle that also guides relationships between incarnated and disincarnated actors on Earth. The discussion of these aspects, alongside with a reflection on reciprocity and debt, aims to offer an understanding of spiritism as a system – morally and cosmologically – for circulation, enabling a relational and dynamic perspective of the daily religious experiences in the spiritist center.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Acesso aberto na UFSCar: um estudo sobre a produção científica dos docentes dos Programas de Pós-graduação do CCET e CECH(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-08-29) Guirra, Daniel Andre Rigo; Furnival, Ariadne Chloe Mary; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1291482506649810; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5924083706738817A subject of constant discussions, scientific communication, since the seventeenth century, has been undergoing several changes. One of the most dramatic of those was from the middle of the last century with the emergence of the periodicals crisis, triggered by the explosion of the costs of subscriptions to international periodicals. In contrast, with the advent of the internet, STS studies, and also, the open access movement to scientific publications, new proposals begin to emerge, implying an open science and results available to all. On the other hand, research funding agencies have increasingly demanded that the researchers they fund publish in journals with a high impact factor, many of them, including paid access, generating future expenditures for the acquisition of journals by public libraries. As an example, only in 2017, the federal government in Brazil spent nearly 107 million dollars to maintain the CAPES Periodical Portal. Given the above, the aim of this research is to compare the methods of publication and knowledge dissemination by researchers and professors on the Postgraduate Programs in Exact Sciences (CCET) and Human Sciences (CECH) at UFSCar, and to verify what percentage of this output is in open access. Because it has a quantitative-qualitative research approach, this dissertation is composed of bibliographical research that brings together topics such as the scientific community, as well as communication among peers, their modes of production and scientific indicators. Finally, we discuss some topics relevant to postgraduate studies and the impact of their evaluation system. In the document research we use data from UFSCar, CV Lattes, Qualis CAPES and Sucupira Platform, adopting as a cut-off period the years 2013 to 2016 (last CAPES four-year evaluation). For the mapping of the bibliographic production of the researchers investigated here, we used the ScriptLattes software. With the data tabulated, we consulted which journals were registered in DOAJ and SciELO. For those which were not registered, we consulted the SHERPA / RoMEO database to verify the self-archiving policies of the journal titles identified. Finally, we researched articles from these journals on Google Scholar to see if they had copies available in open access repositories. The research results identified 19 programs, 434 teachers and the publication of 308 complete books, 1162 book chapters and 4638 scientific articles. From these, we find that the PGPs in the Exact Sciences have mostly male researchers, with predominant publication of articles in subscription scientific journals. On the other hand, in PGPs in the Humanities, there are more female teachers, with a higher percentage of publications in books (complete or chapters). Regarding the scientific articles, we could observe the predominance of publications in open access journals for programs in the Humanities. When accessing subscription journal articles on Google Scholar, we find the vast majority of them have open copies available. We conclude that our objectives have been met and we stress the importance of further studies on this theme.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Diretrizes de projeto para desempenho térmico de sistemas de paredes pré-moldadas de concreto(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-08-29) Raeder, Laylah Regina; Ferreira, Marcelo de Araújo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4199122391532470; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8601476062932976The industrialized precast building systems have been used all over the world in housing construction since the 50’s. In Brazil, as there were no specific standard codes for precast panels until 2016, the use of those building systems have been under the certification of technical evaluations called DATec from the SINAT system. Since the approval of the new code of practice NBR16475:2017 - Wall Precast Panels and the review of NBR9062:2017, many performance aspects related to structural safety, fire, water tightness, among others are now covered, however there is not yet a very clear position regarding thermal performance requirements. In this context, as specific contribution, this research intends to present the results of an exploratory study regarding aspects and design conditions related to precast walls’ thermal performance, according to the code of practice ABNT NBR 15575 and the precast code of practice ABNTNBR 16475. In order to potentialize a greater usability of those systems in Brazil, this study was accomplished through the measurement of the wall surface temperature using a thermal camera and the comparison of the achieved numbers, verifying the importance of design factors that influence the façade's temperature variation through the solar energy absorption at heat flow, impacting wall panel's thermal performance.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Estudo de viabilidade econômica com concepção de projeto de usina de reciclagem de RCC Classe A para municípios de pequeno porte(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-08-29) Nicolau, Maiara Fuzatti; Marques Neto, José da Costa; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2392932422695163; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1490955381019461The construction industry is the main generator of waste in the economy. The CW can account for up to 70% of total urban solid waste produced (SINDUSCON, 2015), resulting in a concern for the waste of materials extracted from nature, with their illegal disposal and consequent increase in demand for landfill areas. The CONAMA Resolutions and NBR 15.114 (ABNT, 2004c) presented the guidelines for the correct destination of the residues and the development of the CW recycling activity as one of the ways to solve this problem. In addition, Marques Neto (2003) and Córdoba (2010) demonstrated that almost all CW, represented by Class A waste, can be recycled with the production of recycled aggregates. The development of the recycling of CW class A in Brazilian territory was verified in the research of Miranda, Angulo and Carelli (2009) with the identification of 24 units of plants in the State of São Paulo, with only 3 located in small municipalities, with population below 100.000. At the same time, even with lesser generation of waste, they together contribute a significant percentage of CW generation, representing 87.90% of the total municipalities of the State of São Paulo (IBGE, 2010). In this sense, this research had as objective the accomplishment of technical visits based on the content of the bibliographical revision with the proposal of basic project that resulted in the presentation of technical parameters and elaboration of costs for an economic feasibility analysis on the implantation and operation of recycling plants of CW class A, in three case studies defined as small municipalities, with a population range between 10 and 100 thousand inhabitants. The municipality of Severínia with production of 3.70 t / h of recycled aggregates presented the project as not feasible. The municipalities of Monte Alto and Votuporanga, with a production of 6.50 t / h and 13 t / h, respectively, presented as a viable investment with positive net present value and capital recovery.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O trabalho docente frente à judicialização de vagas nas creches: sentidos de professores(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-08-29) Jochi, Fabiana Aparecida Pereira; Sant'Ana, Izabella Mendes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7860235863062183; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6487313031253183This work aimed investigate the perspectives attributed to the teachers about their performance at one daily care in the city of Sorocaba towards the judicialization context of vacancies in the Childish Education. It also aimed to understand the challenges and possibilities of the staff performance since demands provoked by the implications of the judicialization in the daily care center. The study approaches the concept of perspective from the cultural-historic theory of Vigotski (2008). Three teachers of one daily care center have participated in this study, thus having as methodological strategies the participant's observation, records in field diaries and interviews semi-structured. The results show that : a) the judicialization was noticed by the participants as one fact that denotes the incapability of the region to fulfill the legal determinations towards the attendance of the children at 0 to 3 years of age; b) the teachers recognized the law of small children to education, but reinforced (that) the judicialization has produced a few alterations in the school routine and in the educative work, causing situations like the superpopulation of the classrooms, what imposes the necessity of adjustments in the educational attendance offered. c) the reports of the participants signalized that the team has been trying to create alternatives to lead with the existing difficulties, but the living reality is difficult, mainly due to the following aspects : a few human resources, a precariousness work and an increasing outsourcing of the services of the district, through the hiring number of professionals in the daily care centers. They argue that the right of the child to the educational attendance in the daily care center must be guaranteed, as what is recommended in the Law as well as in the official orientations of the Child Education. However there are several challenges to be faced against actual nonliberal polices which include the progressive decreasing of public investments and the outsourcing of services in the field of Education. We can conclude that educators, managers, social movements and communities need to articulate, thus charging from the responsible administrative organs the respect from the children's rights, as well as fight for the improvements in the Child Education attendance in district.
