Nowadays there is an increasingly demand for a safe industries, because of it many industries have been increasing its process security, mapping its risks and creating action plans that minimize the inherent hazards of the process and prevent accidents that could damage the factory, properties and population. In addition, if any accident happen they already know possible repercussion and can action as soon as possible to reduce the damage. In this context, this graduation work going to analyzed the risk of production of acetone via the dehydrogenation of isopropryl alcohol (IPA). The process was simulated at software Aspen Hysys and the conversion of it was approximately 78%, and was simulated the relive valves. With the HAZOP methods, the identification of fault and necessaries actions to mitigate the risk was possible; some actions are install sensors, alarms, valves and manometers. The compatibility chart created by CRW software show that are chemical interactions in the process that are dangerous, especially the interaction between acetone and hydrogen. Analyzing the fault tree it was possible to estimate the time between two faults (reactor temperature increased), that is 3.32 years, and possible faults that increase this time. The analyses of the process of acetone production via de dehydrogenation of isopropyl alcohol showed critical points and was possible to propose improvements of the security process.

In this work we present the Zero-Modified Poisson model with Normal random effect, and the Zero-Modified Poisson model with Generalized Log-Gamma random effect, which are extensions of the Zero-Modified Poisson model. Since the Generalized Log-Gamma effect generalizes the Normal effect, it can be used in atypical situations where the Normal effect is not the most appropriate (e.g. asymmetric data). The random effect induces correlation in the model and accommodates the intrinsic variability of each individual. Thus, these models allow us to deal with longitudinal counting data, regardless of its number of null observations (zero-inflated or zero-deflated data). We consider the classical and Bayesian approaches to estimate the parameters of the model and we developed a simulation study to evaluate the performance of the estimators. In order to illustrate the proposed procedure, we analysed a set of real data regarding the count of reports of deaths of children aged 1 to 4 years, in the cities of the State of Bahia, Brazil, during the years 2014, 2015 and 2016. The results showed that both models are effective for modeling a longitudinal data set without the preliminary knowledge about the existing inflation or zero deflation characteristic.

Research on intertemporal choices has traditionally been conducted with participants in individual experimental sessions. This is a research that sought to subvert this pattern by producing experimental data on delay discount rates in collective intertemporal choices, understanding the role of social interaction. For this, a study was conducted with two groups, whose difference consisted only in the order of application of the tests, being individual-collective in group One and collective-individual in group Two. The data allowed comparing the pattern of choices between groups and applications and the effect of the order of performance of collective and individual tests. The results showed that participants who answered the test individually after the collective test (group two) had a higher discount rate than those who answered the individual test first (group one). However, no significant differences were found between the rates in the individual and collective applications of the test. The results suggest that while collective and individual achievements maintain the same response pattern, the experience of making this type of choice collectively may increase the future individual choice discount rate. The results are controversial considering previous literature that suggests significant differences in collective and individual discount rates.

In the food indurtry, it is necessary for the final product to comply with certain requirements that the legislation requires for this product to be marketed. One such requirement is the amount of certain microoganisms that may be harmful to the product as well as to the consumer. Therefore, there is the heat treatment step in the process, where there are decimal reductions in the concentration of the target microorganisms making the final product commercially sterile. From this, it is proposed with this work to study the process used for heat treatment in a food industry through each stage of this process and also the calculation of the lethality of microorganisms, verifying its efficiency in relation to what the legislation requires. It can be concluded that the results are satisfactory, that is, the heat treatment process is efficient to reduce the target microorganisms, but it is possible to point improvements in some steps to gain practicality and confirm its efficiency. Finally, a tube shell heat exchanger was designed to verify the gains that this can bring to the process beyond its efficiency compared to that used in the company that is a double tube.

The present work has as main objective to understand the influence of the atmospheric environment on the mortality of the elderly due to cardiovascular diseases in Sorocaba, between 2002 and 2014. In order to draw this relationship, it was decided to use two bioclimatic techniques: the types of time and the PET comfort index. These two techniques were chosen in an attempt to understand the complexity of the atmospheric environment and its impacts on health. Using these techniques, we selected days with excess deaths, called sick days, which were indicated from values above the median, presented here as days with 3 or more deaths. The association between bioclimatic indices and sick days was delineated from the use of descriptive statistics (calculation of frequency, mean and extreme values) as well as the use of inferential statistics, the use of logistic regression models. Using frequency calculation, it was observed that the types of weather with strong thermal amplitude and extreme temperature values, either maximum or minimum and low humidity, concentrated the sick days. Regarding the PET comfort index ranges, there was a higher concentration of these days with excess death in ranges that indicated the discomfort to the cold. However, the results obtained from the use of logistic regression models, using the odds calculation (odss), showed that the extreme weather, very hot with large thermal amplitude, presented lower protective capacity for days with excess deaths. For the thermal comfort index, it was observed that the comfort index ranges that indicated heat discomfort were more protective than those indicating comfort and cold discomfort.

The recognition of the landscape’s geomorphologic aspects may fundament a proposal of urban occupation that considers the hydrological dynamics of a given area, favors the maintenance of the infiltration and reduction of the superficial leakage, reducing erosive processes, floods, minimizing the environmental problems. This master is part of the research “Environmental planning and prioritization of conservation areas in Boituva/SP – Brasil” (FEHIDRO 10452). It it aims at evaluate the impacts of the urbanization process of Brazilian cities discussing, for such, the compatibility between the kinds of urban ocupations and the process of relief appropriation. The study was developed on the hidrographic basin of Ribeirão do Jerivá, at Boituva, city with 60k habitants and, despite the recente urban expansion, still shows conditions of actual planning and reduction of urbanization impacts. Methodologically, the study was Urban Geomorphology, Urban dispersion and Hidrographic Basin Management oriented. In order to understand such dinamics that holds occupation of the geomorphological compartiments, thematic maps were created, such as the relief units, declivities, sliding risk, mass movement and inundation, APP (Permanent Protection Areas) and Forest Fragments, Soil Usage and Hipsometric maps. Topographic profiles were elaborated for some key areas, with different stages of urbanization, aiming at a more specific analysis. Fieldworks were also made. As results, it was shown that Ribeirão do Jerivá basin, with 45,34 km², has an importante área of its spring occupied with urbanized areas or farming activities. Three relief units were identified at the basin, one with strong dissection of spring and river courses, at the high basin sector; a second unit with top interfluvuim more plain to softly convexizated, and the third unit of the fluvial plains, wider at the lower basin. The conclusions show that the processo of relief appropriation for urbanization alters in ways very often irreversible the energy entrance and exit systems of the hidrographic basins, changing the disposition of matters and its carriage along the rain waters, besides unbalancing the natural pedogenic processes.

Steel is the science dedicated to the studies of steel production and treatment, such as obtaining metallic iron. The oldest processes for obtaining metallic iron were conducted in various types of furnaces, currently using the blast furnace. The blast furnace is essentially a huge countercurrent heat exchanger and a chemical reactor in which pig iron is produced by iron ore at temperatures above 1500 ° C, because of the high temperatures, refractory materials are always present. in their processes. Refractory materials are used because they support the aggressive environment of the steelmaking process, providing structural resistance to corrosion and also avoiding heat loss from steel to the medium. The condition of the blast furnace refractory is the main limiting factor for the life of a blast furnace. Also due to the high process temperatures it is necessary to use tools that simulate the behavior of the internal crucible fluids. Thus, the present undergraduate work with the aid of the Ansys Student v.19 - R2 tool, which uses the finite volume methods to solve the necessary equations, analyzed the behavior of the internal fluids during the emptying of a printed crucible prototype. 3D printer, varying the height of the liquids. Thus, we obtained profiles of: phases, velocities and turbulent kinetic energy over time, thus, it was possible to analyze how the fluids behave during the emptying of the crucible, the zones where the velocity and turbulent kinetic energy are more aggravating and the relevance of the dead man's presence.

The research problem is to investigate the effect of municipal public investments in early childhood education, more specifically in daycare, on the insertion of women who are mothers of children up to 5 years old in the labor market. We take into account municipal conditions as determinants of the work decision, in addition to individual attributes. The main hypothesis is that municipal investments in early childhood education have a positive effect on the mother's decision to participate in the labor market; however, the effective participation in the market, as occupied, is sensitively conditioned to the local economic contexts. Using the IBGE (2010 Census), FINBRA (2010) and INEP (2010) databases, we estimate a two-level hierarchical Logit model (individual and family characteristics and municipal characteristics), which allows the analysis of the probability of the mother participate or not in the labor market and also the effects attributed to local contexts on individual decisions, particularly in the state of São Paulo. The results indicate that investments in day care centers are associated with greater participation of women mothers of young children in the labor force.

The pedagogical relationship established between teachers and students has always been marked by the presence of ambivalence of feelings towards the teaching figure. Nowadays, such a relationship is being reconfigured in the context of digital culture to the point where manifestations of violence take on new guises because students use their cell phones to create videos that show teachers being beaten and humiliated in the classroom. In fact, in times of digital culture, hatred towards teachers has manifested itself in the form of cyberbullying, violence practiced through the use of digital technologies in today's cultural industry. Compared to the well-known cases of school bullying, cyberbullying against teachers is considered even more violent given the ad infinitum reproduction of aggressive and humiliating images and comments in cyberspace. Although there is a growth of videos published by adolescent students in social networks containing aggressions against teachers, Brazilian research on this phenomenon is still incipient. Therefore, this research aimed to investigate the reasons that lead high school students to practice cyberbullying against their teachers by publishing images and vexatious and demeaning comments from their teachers on the social network YouTube. Anchored in the theoretical framework of the Critical Theory of Society, this research is divided into four parts. The first part deals with the concept and topicality of the cultural industry and its implications for the cultural and psychic formation of individuals as it is understood that it is in the context of the spread of digital technologies of the current cultural industry that the practice of cyberbullying is made possible and increased. The second part characterizes the level of education in which the virtual aggressions practiced by students against teachers has become increasingly frequent, namely high school. The third part presents the definitions of bullying and cyberbullying as well as discusses the practices of violence against teachers in the context of digital culture, especially the virtual aggressions. The fourth and final part analyzes the most pertinent images and comments on three videos available on YouTube that contain high school students assaulting and humiliating their teachers. Student cyberbullying teaches that if digital technologies in today's cultural industry can be used to abuse teachers, they can also be used to bring teachers and students closer to the educational process as long as critical understanding of the technology itself is realized rather than simply prohibit and/or restrict its use in the classroom.

In the last decades, there were several national and international research on the teacher education model. Many educators, including mathematical educators, looked into the subject of the formation of the elementary school math teacher looking for debating the necessary knowledge to teaching practice. In this sense, there were also changes in Brazilian legislation through the promulgation of guidelines for the training of basic teachers' formation, a factor that promoted changes in undergraduate courses to improve teaching in the country. Among these changes, we highlight the inclusion of Academic-Scientific-Cultural Activities (AACC) in undergraduate courses, as a way to promote the expansion of the cultural repertory of future teachers. With a minimum workload of 200 hours, AACC is an open curriculum space, set into a group of activities that can be chosen and developed by students during their training course. These activities purpose is enriching students' education with a stock of extracurricular knowledge for joining in scientific events, appointments, and monitoring, scientific initiation, artistic and cultural activities, among others. Each institution and course are allowed to deliberate on these activities for students' formation and how credits should apply for. Referring studies on teacher education and guidelines for teacher education, this research takes Mathematics Degree to the following interrogations: how is the proposal for insertion of the AACC contemplated in a mathematics degree courses at a public university in São Paulo state? Did these activities achieve the proposed goals? What assumptions have guided the development of these activities? Thus, the goal is presenting interpretations for the development of these activities in these courses using Bourdieu's theory as a reference. Thus, the work aims to analyze the development of AACC in mathematics degree courses of a public university in the State of São Paulo, aiming to understand their assumptions, practices and tensions in the academic field. This is a research of a quali-quantitative nature, in order to achieve the proposed objective were adopted as methodological procedures: bibliographic research in texts, documents and reports of the courses involved, but also the perception of coordinators and graduates of the courses analyzed. The sociological investigation carried out through the notion of mathematics field, allowed to interpret for the AACC, in the undergraduate courses in Mathematics of Unesp, as a space of the curriculum of reproduction and imprint of the mathematician habitus. According to the documents constituted in this work, these activities legitimize a certain kind of cultural capital. This cultural capital is related to knowledge activities relevant to the field of mathematics, prizing academic mathematics over the social and cultural background of the future mathematics teacher. It is about valuing a way of seeing and doing specific mathematics that, by keeping itself away from the teaching practice, does not address the specificities and does not meet the needs of the teacher's work and the proposed in the legal documents.

With the popularization of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and with the expansion of the application areas of this technology, there is an increase of research focused on flight route planning. This work starts from the use of UAVs in agricultural scenarios in the aerial imaging task. The objective is to present a Coverage Path Planning (CPP) method for multirotor UAVs and compare it with a solution already used in the market. The developed method considers scenarios with multiple terrains, and seeks to present a route proposal with optimization of the order of visitation of the terrain, minimizing the number of curves of the route and the total distance of the route. The presented method contains three main steps. The first deals with the decomposition of areas, where terrains represented by concave polygons are decomposed into smaller convex shaped subareas using a greedy algorithm. The second step calculates the flight direction that minimizes the number of course curves in each of the subareas, finding the direction of the highest polygon height to guide the direction of the round-trip movement pattern application, known in the literature by default boustrophedon. The third step deals with subarea visit order optimization, at this stage the scenario is modeled as a specialization of the Generated Travelling Salesman Problem (GTSP), and to solve this problem we use the Ant Colony Optimization algorithm (ACO). The results obtained by the proposed method are compared with the solutions proposed by a route planning program already used by the market, the Mission Planner. To measure the efficiency of the solutions, two variables were considered: the total distance traveled and the number of route curves. Through the obtained results one can map the types of scenarios where the developed method can aggregate with the market.

In view of the needs of ethanol production in Brazil during the sugarcane off-season, research indicates the use of corn in this period by the sugar and alcohol industries, mainly in the brazilian central-west region, as a solution. In this context, we intend to carry out the study and analysis of ethanol production from sugarcane and corn. The work was carried out based on a bibliographical survey on the unit operations present in the industrial production of ethanol from sugarcane and in the extra unit operations, present in the industrial production of ethanol from corn, as liquefaction and saccharification, possible to aggregate the brazilian sugar and alcohol industries in operation in order to make them flex. For this, data were collected from a case of a brazilian sugar and alcohol industry containing indicators of crop consumption and production. Ethanol production simulations from corn were developed in the Aspen Plus v8.8 process simulation software. The simulated process includes in its feed the composition of brazilian corn, the unit operations present in the sugar and alcohol industries and the unit operations of liquefaction and saccharification that can be aggregated to the sugar and alcohol industry to ethanol production from corn. The results showed that the use of corn for ethanol production in Brazil is profitable, especially in the off-season of sugarcane. With the data obtained it was possible to evaluate the costs of implementing the grinding, liquefaction and saccharification operations used in the processing of corn of US$ 1,360,200 with the installation and economic analysis of ethanol production in sugarcane plants and flex plants was evaluated. The average profit of ethanol production for sugarcane plants was R$ 168,838.72/day and the average profit of flex plants that use corn for ethanol production was R$92,158.97/day. In the off-season of sugarcane in the south-central region, 34,888.67 m3/year of more ethanol would be produced and a revenue of R$ 11,059,076.31/year would be generated. In addition, followed two months of operation in the off-season after the application of capital the investor will have recovered, in the form of returns, everything that invested with the implementation of the technology necessary for ethanol production from corn in his plant of ethanol production from sugarcane.

Gasteroid fungi comprise a group of fungi belonging to the class Agaricomycetes. Gasteromycetes are characterized by basidiospores that remain closed within the basidioma until complete maturation, requiring some mechanical stimulation or external agents for their release, an exclusive characteristic of the group. They present several strategies for spore dispersion, and wide applicability, where besides the ecological importance, performed as decomposers, denotes potential for application in several areas such as: forestry, agriculture, food, etc. There are a considerable number of ectomycorrhizal species, which have established relationships with roots of various plant species. Considering the importance of the group and the scarcity of studies, more studies are necessary to better understand the diversity and taxonomy of the group. This project aimed to survey gasteroid fungal species in the municipality of Buri, South western São Paulo. In this area, the main phytophysiognomies represented are Atlantic Forest (Dense Ombrophilous Forest and Mixed Ombrophilous Forest or Araucaria Forest) with Cerrado patches. Basidiomes were collected for identification between August 2017 and August 2019. After collection, the basidiomes were subsequently dehydrated and examined with stereoscopic microscope and light microscope. The identification of the examples was performed with the help of specialized literature and comparison with herbarium samples. The specimens were deposited in the SPSC herbarium. In total, 33 specimens were gathered, which represent 15 taxa distributed in 7 genera, belonging to 5 families: Agaricaceae Chevall. (Calvatia Fr., Lycoperdon P. Micheli), Geastraceae Corda (Geastrum Pers.), Nidulariaceae Dumort. (Cyathus Haller), Phallaceae Corda (Abrachium Baseia & T.S. Cabral, Clathrus P. Micheli ex L., Phallus Juniusex L.) e Sclerodermataceae Corda (Scleroderma Pers., Pisolithus Alb. & Schwein.). The families Geastraceae and Phallaceae were the most representative, and the families Agaricaceae, Nidulariaceae and Sclerodermataceae were the least represented. In this survey, Cyathus julietae and Phallus rubicundus were the taxa with the largest number of collected specimens. Another relevant result was color of the volva of P. rubicundus (a species reported from the state of São Paulo after three decades), reporting that it may have a purplish coloration, differing from literature which describes exclusively white volva for the species. From this observation it is possible to discuss the validation of features to circumscribe Phallus species, since some members in the genus are separated solely based on the volva pigmentation. The present study also contributes with four new reports from the state of São Paulo: Geastrum javanicum Lév., Geastrum minimum Schwein., Cyathus julietae H.J. Brodiee, and Scleroderma areolatum Ehrenb., thus increasing the knowledge about gasteroid mycota in Brazil.
