Considering that literacy, in a literate society is a needed condition to access scientific, artistic and philosophical knowledge, historically systemized transformed at school, in school knowledge, this thesis has as an objective analyzing the literacy process of the students who attend the multifunctional resource room, specifically; a) understand historically the p olitics to special and inclusive education and its implementation after 1980s;b) characterize the conditions in which the educational process is being held in the rural school and the multifunctional resources room in Porto Feliz; c) identify the research subject d) deepen the theoretical knowledge about the different concepts of literacy performed by the teachers. As a quantitative and qualitative research, and bibliographic, documental and field type, it was used as the procedure of research semi- structured interviews, questionnaire, observation of administrative papers and didactic -pedagogical papers. Through bibliographic research, it was possible to assess which authors had researched about special education in relation to our objective. For the empiric study, it was chosen a rural school in the city of Porto Feliz, SP. The subjects were five students who attend the multifunctional resource room (first to fifth grade), five family members, the specialist teacher, four teachers for the regular classes, the coordinator, the vice- principal, the representing of Education Division, also responsible for the special education in the city. The data collection happened in 2019, between the months of July and December. The analysis was grounded on theoretical an d methodological of historycritical pedagogy, which is supported, by the historical materialism and dialectic. The preliminary results show that the literacy in resource rooms is partially different from the procedures used in regular rooms, specifically as the didactic resources used, because of the educational relation, an individual attendance brings. The differences observed indicate a progress in the literacy process of those children attended by the resource room, but in a limited way. On the other hand, special education carries the mark of welfare, relying on the teacher to bring solutions and answers that should be given by the medical field, the lack of theoretical instruments to understand learning, specifically the literacy process, and evaluation, the resource room became the only place where there is specific treatment to students` needs. The pedagogical conception remains the same as the regular room, seeing learning or not as a natural and biological way. Finally, the historical-critical pedagogy is one of the pedagogical theory necessary to ground the teacher to assist students, being students from special education or not.

The present society lives in a dynamic, complex and contradictory urban system, and seeks the balance between urban development and environmental preservation. Such issues require efficient urban management, and the growing use of information and communication technologies (ICT) becomes a promising ally to solve them. Thus, appear the smart cities, composed by smart governance strategies and actions, such as a new paradigm to follow, interconnecting society and government in order to solve urban issues. From this context, this research aims to understand the smart governance and the contributions and potentialities of geotechnologies, highlighting the Multipurpose Territorial Cadastre (MTC), as generators of public value. In this way, it is proposed to construct a theoretical essay, as well as a bibliometric investigation about smart cities, governance and the use of geotechnologies as a subsidy to the case study, which intends to analyse urban governance in the São Paulo Metropolitan Region (RMSP) according to the use of information and geoinformation resources applied to city management, and the use of MTC in the cities of the ABC Paulista region, southeast sub-region of RMSP. The results obtained show that some practices of municipal governments have already been established aligned with the dimensions of smart governance. However, mainly, as for spatial activation in the use of geoinformation, as well as in the use of MTC, it still has much to move forward and, therefore, to qualify with public value the strategies and actions of governance that a smart city requires.

Situated in the field of bilingual education for the deaf, this research is based on problematizations about the relation between cinema and the education of the deaf. Looking to discuss visuality and visual literacy issues, we present the objectives of investigating, analyzing and discussing how cinema can collaborate with bilingual education for the deaf. We conducted this study to try to understand how it can be done and what contributions education of the gaze can offer in the field of bilingual education for the deaf and deaf. The way we carried out this study was through qualitative research in special education, in which a short film by a group of seven deaf teenagers participating in Libras workshops was recorded in a bilingual school. The video recording process was described and analyzed in the light of the historical materialistic theoretical and methodological framework on development, language, discursive practices and editing in the cinema. The results indicate that the activity carried out promoted discursive and dialogical practices favoring the development of Libras, the writing of the Portuguese language, the formation of concepts and the reading of images from the education of the gaze. The results also show that the activity can benefit other audiences besides deaf and deaf students. The study also promotes important starting points and data sharing for further research.

We have been targeted daily by news related to the worldwide migration flow. As predicted by Foucault ([1979] 2010), excessive antagonisms within the bosom of society have mobilized the massive displacement of people. Dictatorial states, civil wars, political or religious persecution, human rights violations and even natural disasters are some of the factors that shape the “new migratory flows” (CAVALCANTI e col. (2019). Based on the understanding of Albuquerque Júnior's (2016) considerations about the practice of xenophobia and its motivations, and on the nuances between intolerance and tolerance (DUNKER, 2014), we are mainly interested in problematizing the old saying about Brazilian people’s cordiality (BUARQUE HOLANDA, 1995). In general, we aim to indicate if there are mutations in the identity traits attributed to Brazilians and specifically to analyze how the possible mutations can be apprehended in the forms of discursivization of migratory policies, whether in semantic determinations or projections of presidents' speeches. For this, we will analyze how three subjects who have already experienced or still experience the condition of Heads of State, Dilma Rousseff, Michel Temer and Jair Bolsonaro used, in public speaking circumstances, the terms employed to refer to “people on the move”. In this analysis we will observe how the identity images attributed by these three political figures to people on the move are intrinsically related to historical issues, which pass through the forms of cordiality and its absence. We chose 2015 as a starting point because of the record number of displaced people (NAÇÕES UNIDAS, 2015), the considerable increase in the interest of internet users for the terms 'refugees', 'migrants' and 'immigrants' (GOOGLE TRENDS) and also by the eruption of the historical-discursive event, which was recognized as the symbol of the migratory crisis, the death of Syrian boy Aylan Kurd (G1, 2015). To this end, we will base ourselves on Foucaultian reflections on the dynamics of the emergency conditions of utterances, discursive memory, power strategies, among other contributions of the author to undertake our reflections. Results indicate that the stereotype of the cordial man is deeply rooted in the imagination and collective memory rather than in the practices themselves. Cordiality is conditioned by the maneuvers of our leaders, the convictions of our representatives in different spheres and follows under the watchful eye of xenophobia.

Women advanced with study and relevant positions. However, in Brazil, some careers remain with more men and others with more women, with less than 25% of them among researchers in the "hard" sciences. In addition, domestic and care activities mostly as their responsibility and the failure of men to advance in careers considered “female” denounce the persistent difference. If there are multiple factors to choose a career, how much does sexism influence this stage? The objective, therefore, was to point out how sexist stereotypes influence women's career choices, considering Science and Technology. The descriptive and cross-sectional research had a questionnaire with a scale that measures sexism at work (Scale G). Along with this scale, two others were applied: The one from the Ideology of Technological Rationality (Scale I) and the one from Fascism (Scale F) adapted. 696 adolescents from the age of 16 from public and private schools participated. The results showed that sexism does not influence career choice. On the other hand, scale I showed statistical significance, demonstrating that rationality, or instrumental reason, can be associated with career choice in the area of science and technology. More details on the results of the I and F scales are presented in the paper. In contrast to the result on sexism, the rejection of women by the Science and Technology area persists. In addition, sexism is relevant among them in the G-scale averages, especially in the belief that they are more emotional, bring beauty and grace to the environments and responsibility for caring for the home and family, indicating that they do not master the traps of sexist prejudice at work. Together, their willingness to give up a career for the family points to little awareness of this stereotype. Participants whose parents have higher education had the lowest averages on the G scale, suggesting the importance of formal schooling to minimize gender differences. However, participants with uneducated mothers had low averages compared to others with educated fathers, showing openness to future research. The result of the sample profile with 51% whites requires expansion of this research in more Brazilian regions for intersectional analysis of race and culture.
