Interdisciplinary researches has emerged in order to understand the multiple causes and consequences resulting from changes in the forms of appropriation of surface. For this reason, it is common to develop analytical approaches that consider spatial, temporal and socio-environmental vulnerability variables as a support for territorial planning. It is possible to prepare previsions of scenarios and prognosis for areas that will present social vulnerability and environmental degradation, providing subsidies for spatial planning and the sustained development of human activities. In this context, the analysis of the association between land use and land cover changes, socio-demographic and physical-structural aspects and the growth of gully erosive processes in Santa Rita do Passa Quatro –SP (Rio Claro, Córrego da Capituva and Bebedouro watershed), between the years 1990 – 2017 is justified. This period is marked by the occupation of urban areas in the region and the consequent intensification of changes in the form of occupation. This study is a possible method of subsidizing actions for planning and monitoring land use and coverage. The main contribution of the research is to assess which social, demographic, physical-structural and environmental dimensions are associated with the dynamics of transforming surface and how they can assist in the modeling of future scenarios for occupying it. The methodological process takes place in 9 procedures, which are: definition of the analysis time series, mapping of the gully erosion processes identified in the study region, analysis of the processes autocorrelation, collection of land use and coverage data, analysis of temporal changes, selection of indicators and explanatory variables and the final proposal for modeling spatial dynamics using the MOLUSCE - QGIS 2.18.0 plugin. As a result, the present research discusses the main classes that suffered oscillations between the years analyzed, the cases of erosion registered during the series and in the transitions that occurred, in addition to exploring how they influence some elements when inserted in the modeling future land use scenarios.

Issues related to urban organization and management in Brazil have always been discussed, and major attempts to systematize territorial organization have been carried out over the past few decades. However, only in 2001, the Ministry of Cities obligatorily granted the elaboration of Master Plans (PD), with Law 10.257 / 2001, to municipalities above twenty thousand inhabitants. Among these DPs, there is a tool of great relevance for the sustainable management of cities: the Neighborhood Impact Study, a study on the impact that the enterprises undertaken in the region, is an important importance for a discussion about these relationships and these factors in both in the present and in the future. However, the cartographic material used in recording reports is often insufficient for carrying out concrete and specific analyzes on the impacts of the undertakings, if making the necessary use of new tools to use these images. In this sense, as Remotely Piloted Aircraft are an alternative to aerophotogrammetric survey, due to their low financial cost and operational ease, in addition to the high precision of the images. In this context, the main objective of this dissertation is the presentation of new aerophotogrammetric survey tools and their products generated for an observation of the impacts of the Shopping Passeio project, located in the municipality of São Carlos (SP), with analysis of its Study Report of Visualization Impact, elaboration of cartographic materials related to land use and post-occupation of the region in 2019. For that, land use maps in addition to elaborated geoprocessing software, with the possibility of analyzing the land use and occupation of the region, analyzing the EIV of the enterprise and the current occupation of the area. It is possible to conclude that, although not very comprehensive, report 10.522 / 2013, referring to Shopping Passeio's EIV is in accordance with the procedure adopted in municipal laws, such as land uses within the area of direct influence of the enterprise, which follows the Law of Urban Zoning of São Carlos. However, the cartographic material presented in the report is inconsistent, as well as the difficulty in gaining access to its own, going against the extensions of Law 10.257 / 2001. Thus, the dissertation aims to present new tools to assist the management of urban planning, with emphasis on importance and spatial organization.

The manufacturing process, the machinability of a material, its mechanical properties and application purposes are recurrent subject of analysis. However, not always the machining parameters influences are taken into account, might effect the product efficiency and life-cycle. In this context, study opportunities emerge to the Surface Engineering, going deeper on the manufacturing process effects over the surface integrity. This present work delves into the influence of the turning parameters on the mechanical properties of the hardened O1 tool-steel. The investigation was based on: manufacture specimens from annealed tool-steel bars, heat-treat it and do the finishing with different settings of turning parameters, varying the feed rate and cutting speed in a complete 2^2 factorial design, measure the surface roughness and perform tensile tests. It was found that the Ra and Rz parameters showed the decrease tendency with the increase of the cutting speed (35% in average for the lowest feed rate and 5,4% for the highest) and aggravate (in average, 18,8% for the lowest cut speed and 72% fot the highest) with the feed rate increasing, although this was only statisticaly attested for the influence of the feed rate and cutting speed over the Rz. Moreover, the ultimate tensile strenght and the elongation percentage exhibit the same tendency of amplify with the increase of cutting speed (in average, 18% for the lowest feed rate and 10% for the highest) and decrease with the feed rate increasing (18,5% in average for the lowest cut speed and 10% for the highest), nonetheless this was statisticaly evidenced only for the feed rate affect over the ultimate tensile strenght. Furthermore, it was possible to establish a correlation between the Rz roughness parameter and the ultimate tensile strenght through a logarithmic regression (R2=0,7074), indicating that lower roughness values would lead to higher mechanical strenght values.

Processes using microalgae and cyanobacteria in the treatment of wastewaters have been attractive due to the obtaining of biomass with the commercial value associated and the efficient removal of some contaminants. The cultivation of these microorganisms with biomass generation and obtaining bioproducts such as proteins, lipids, carbohydrates and pigments is known by the term "microalgal biorefinery." In this context, this research aimed the heterotrophic cultivation of filamentous cyanobacteria Phormidium autumnale in sugarcane vinasse, evaluating the removal of contaminants with an emphasis on obtaining value added bioproducts. In the first stage, the highest productivity in biomass was obtained from a central composite rotational design (CCRD) in an orbital shaker, being 127.20 mg/L/h and 107.91 mg/L/h at 31ºC and 35ºC, respectively, in initial C/N ratios of 16 and 23 and initial pH of 8.4 and 7.5. In these conditions at 35ºC, removals of organic carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus were 49%, 47%, and 28%, respectively. In the cultivation in a batch bioreactor were obtained the removals of organic carbon (67%) and nitrogen (70%), with maximum productivity in terms of biomass equivalent to the best condition of the tests carried out in an orbital shaker (CCRD). The biomass of P. autumnale generated in a batch bioreactor showed 21.33% of proteins, 4.26% of lipids, with important fatty acids for the production of biodiesel, 197.53 mg phycocyanin/g biomass of phycocyanin, varied composition of carbohydrates (glucose 79.46 mg/L, arabinose 44.53 mg/L, mannose 9.84 mg/L, galactose 4.78 mg/L, and xylose 14.44 mg/L) and 0.97 g/L of total reducing sugars. Cultivation in a fed-batch bioreactor generated 43.51% of proteins, 12.6% of lipids with fatty acid composition for biodiesel synthesis, carbohydrates such as glucose (48.06 mg/L), arabinose (53.33 mg/L), mannose (26.95 mg/L) and galactose (2.76 mg/L), as well as 0.81 g/L of total reducing sugars and 99.5 mg phycocyanin/g biomass of phycocyanin. The results indicated the technical feasibility of growing this cyanobacterium in sugarcane vinasse in batch and fed-batch cultivations, with carbon and nitrogen removals. Also, its composition in terms of proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids indicates possible applications for the biomass generated, indicating the possibility of this microalgae being integrated into a biorefinery system with the sugar-energy industry.

Learning assessment, althougth studied in academia, is still a controversial element in the educational field. While it is rejected by students and teachers, it is valued within the education system (SCARAMUCCI, 1999). Inherent in teaching and learning processes, assessment assumes different functions within the school sphere (ÁLVAREZ MÉNDEZ, 2002), among which the apprenticeship diagnosis stage that guides decision-making stands out (SCARAMUCCI, 1999). However, it is known that assessment is never neutral, as it will always carry, albeit implicitly, theoretical views and assumptions of the teacher and / or the educational institution. Foreign language teaching (especially the development of reading competence) gains relevance for the exercise of citizenship, since it expands the possibilities of interpreting the world of learners (JORDÃO, 2004). It is up to the school, therefore, as one of the main agents of teaching, to foster the development of reading competence in a foreign language in which learning assessment is an essential tool. Considering that evaluation carries different views and theoretical assumptions and that it is essential to be understood what language and reading means in foreign language reading assessment, this research aims to verify the way nine teachers of Spanish as a foreign language (SFL) conceive reading assessment and how these evaluations take place in practice. In view of the qualitative nature of this research, four instruments were used for data collection: questionnaire (with open, closed and related questions), semi-structured interview, document analysis (from the reading assessments provided by the participants) in addition to the researcher’s field notes. Through these instruments, it was possible to infer the participants’ locus as evaluators and the praxis of their evaluation. Data interpretation shows the strong washback of external exams on learning assessment.

Zika Virus (ZIKV) is a flavivirus transmitted by Aedes species. The disease may be asymptomatic or present clinical such as: conjunctivitis, fever, headache, and in severe cases development of fetal microcephaly and Guillain-Barré syndrome. The rapid spread of the virus and the difficulties of diagnosis require development of alternative methods for diagnosis with high specificity and sensibility. In this scenario, we proposed an electrochemical method for detection of Ab1ZIKV antibodies using magnetic beads modified with a recombinant non-structural protein (ΔNS1ZIKV) and anti-IgG antibodies labeled with horseradish peroxidase enzyme (HRP). The analytical method proposed involved the fabrication of microfluidic device and an immunoassay based in a sandwich type strategy. The device was built using low-cost materials, and the system’s layout comprised of an arrangement of 8-working electrodes, a pseudo-reference electrode, and a counter electrode. The electrochemical detection was performed based in the HRP electrocatalytic cycle by injecting a solution containing hydroquinone (redox mediator) and H2O2 as substrate. Cathodic peak current of HQ reduction was obtained as analytical signal and its intensity was proportional to the logarithm concentration of Ab1ZIKV. The immunoassay showed a linear response in the range of 0.01 to 9.8X10^5 pg mL-1 presented an equation of "Ip(µA) = 0.04 + 0.01 CAb1ZIKV" obtained by linear regression with a correlation coefficient of 0.981. The limit of detection and quantification obtained were of 0.48 pg mL-1 and 1.45 pg mL-1, respectively. The proposed immunoassay proved to be efficient for the detection of anti-ZIKV antibodies, presenting a low limit of detection, ensuring be a promise tool for diagnosis of the disease.

The National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) approved in 2017 aims to promote changes in the curricula of the education system and schools in the country, stimulating the development of essential learning. Besides that, in the Physical Education discipline, one of the novelties is the inclusion of the eight dimensions of knowledge: Experimentation, Use and Appropriation, Fruition, Reflection on Action, Construction of Values, Analysis, Understanding, and Community Protagonism. Therefore, the purposes of this research are: a) to build an understanding of the Dimensions of Knowledge; b) to identify how they are already approached by teachers and c) to analyze and propose, together with teachers, what are the pedagogical possibilities of this concept. The research has a qualitative approach with interpretive description characteristics, employing documentary research and rounds of conversation as the data collection technique. The National Common Curricular Base and 17 didactic sequences from 8th and 9th grades designed by Physical Education teachers from a municipal education system were analysed. The round of conversations was composed of 32 teachers and the coordinator of the discipline of the education system. The information collected was classified into two categories, namely: Dimensions of Knowledge, at which each group of knowledge was prominently discussed, and Echoes, that sought to identify and interpret the participants' positions regarding the implementation of the base and the Dimensions of Knowledge. In the 17 didactic sequences analysed, were found 97 learning expectations that indicate the Construction of Values, Analysis and Understanding, and the moderation concerning Use and Appropriation, Fruition and Community Protagonism. At the National Common Curricular Base, in the 21 skills described for the 8th and 9th grades, there was a more eminent balance between the dimensions and the thematic units. We considered that the Dimensions of Knowledge are concrete possibilities to know, practice, appreciate, democratize access, develop values and understand the operation and the social aspects of bodily practices; therefore, are didactic tools for the discipline teachers to build their pedagogical proposals.

Slasher movies - horror films characterized by the well-known premise of the serial killer that terrifies a group of young people, such as The Texas chainsaw massacre, Halloween, Friday the 13th and A nightmare on Elm Street - were a tremendous success with audiences during the first half of the 1980s. However, after that peak, the subgenre went into clear decay, since the exhaustive repetition of its formula ended up saturating viewers. Interestingly, in the mid1990s, it was the self-reflexive use of that same formula that ended up revitalizing it: premiered in 1996, Scream achieved a huge box office, became a landmark in popular culture and gave rise to an unexpected trend of slasher movies investing on metacinema. With daring and creative films like Behind the mask: the rise of Leslie Vernon and The cabin in the woods, the post-Scream era of horror movies has left us a rich field of study regarding the use of metacinema as a narrative resource and the ability to reinvent a subgenre through its own limitations. Thus, this research seeks to carry out a historiographical synthesis of the slasher movie based on the works of authors such as Carol J. Clover, Adam Rockoff, Richard Nowell, Jim Harper, and John Kenneth Muir, with the main focus on the elements of metacinema that have been found since the beginnings of the subgenre, but which gained strength especially with the release of Scream. Based on this and in a deep film analysis of selected works, it will be possible to understand the particular way in which each film used these elements, as well as the role of metacinema in reviving the slasher and in the process of making its formula increasingly dynamic.

School Physical Education has always faced problems related to the participation of girls in their classes, a situation that, despite the female achievements, continues until the present day. The resistance of girls to participate in practical activities is notorious, especially when this participation takes place in mixed classes and / or requires certain skills not previously explored. This is a qualitative research, type ethnographic study, which has its problem situation materialized in the context of the limited participation of girls less competent sports in the Collective Sports Games (JEC) in Physical Education classes. The objective was to analyze girls' participation in futsal practice in school physical education classes in a 6th grade Elementary Municipal Public School located in the urban area of Feira de Santana - BA. In a futsal teaching unit were used as data collection instruments the class diaries, with records happening immediately after classes, and as a pedagogical strategy the conversation wheels with students, that have been recorded in audio and later transcribed for class diaries. After collecting and reading the analysis corpus, the data were analyzed and categorized through inductive analysis, resulting in the categories "Achievements and overcoming experienced by girls", “Difficulties and challenges faced by girls” and “The teacher's view of the teaching processes of futsal”. From these analyzes it can be inferred that both TGfU and Sport Education have the potential to assist Physical Education teachers in teaching sports at school. It was identified that a group of girls who engaged and participated in classes more effectively presented indicators of evolution from the technical-tactical point of view in futsal. In contrast, it was showed that there was a lack of didactic treatment of attitudinal knowledge who presented themselves as the biggest obstacle to the authentic participation of the majority of girls in classes, insofar as we identified that structural sexism operated through symbolic violence, oppressing and removing these students from classes. It should be noted that this sexism was not exercised without resistance movements on the part of the students, who sometimes expressed their awareness of the mechanisms of oppression and empowered themselves in the process. Despite all the difficulties faced, the speech of one of the girls at the end of the intervention, indicating that boys and girls had to learn to live together, reveals that attitudinal knowledge was being developed throughout the process coeducative, contributing to the rescue of values such as respect for differences, autonomy, interaction and collaboration.

The Information Visualization area studies ways to present data graphically in an efficient way to assist the user in decision making. Education professionals have been increasingly interested in the inclusion of visualization tools to improve the analysis of Educational Data. However, tools for delivering visualizations on Educational Data do not often provide resources aligned to the needs of the target audience. The objective of this master's project was to propose a guide, called Vis2Learning, composed of recommendations to help the developer build visualizations about Educational Data applied to the context of e-learning. For each application scenario covered by the guide, the following information are provided: the most suitable graph format; your characteristics; application examples; and general recommendations to bring improvements to the data visualized through the graph. Based on a preliminary study of the literature, were found some gaps related to the process of developing visualizations in the educational scenario. A Systematic Literature Review (RSL) was conducted to understand what approaches were used in this context. Based on the results of RSL, was discovered that when developing visualizations on Educational Data, researchers tend to perform exploratory research and develop visualizations based only on examples. Vis2Learning was proposed based on an analysis of studies and results reported in the articles obtained in the initial stages of RSL. From this analysis, lessons learned during the evaluation of the visualizations developed for the educational scenario were extracted. These extractions were validated by a trio of specialists in: Educational Data Mining; Human-Computer Interaction; and Information Visualization. After extracting and validating the recommendations, the final version of Vis2Learning was defined. Vis2Learning was evaluated from two perspectives, namely: an assessment aimed to collect the perception of end users about the adequacy of views developed based on Vis2Learning for the educational scenario; while in the other evaluation, was analyzed the utility and ease perceived by developers in the use of Vis2Learning for the development of visualization prototypes on Educational Data. The result of the evaluation with the end users showed that traditional views built based on Vis2Learning were considered more suitable for the educational scenario in relation to the views built by the Google Sheets algorithm. In the evaluation with developers, the Vis2Learning helped participants to gain awareness of good practices in the development of visualizations and supported the process of choosing the visualization format taking into account the user's context.

The occurrence of the false buttonweed weed (Spermacoce densiflora DC. and Spermacoce verticillata L.) in agricultural areas, especially the known MATOPIBA region (Maranhão, Tocantins, Piauí and Bahia), has become a problem, since the area is considered one of the largest grain producers in Brazil. Field observations reported the lack of chemical control of these species. As a result, the present work aimed to understand how the biology of the species Spermacoce densiflora and Spermacoce verticillata, with variables related to germination and emergence, may contribute to the development of management strategies for these weeds. In this context, four experiments were developed. In the first, the influence of light and temperature on seed germination was studied, in a completely randomized design. Six temperatures (15, 20, 25, 30, 35 ° C and 20-30 ° C) and two light conditions (presence and absence of light) and a 12-hour photoperiod were studied. It was found that the species S. densiflora is photoblastic positive, as there was no germination in constant darkness. Regarding germination, S. verticillata found that the species is photoblastic neutral, however the germination of the species is favored by the presence of light. For both species, the highest percentage of germination and germination speed index were obtained under alternating temperature. In the second experiment, the effect of sowing depth on seedling emergence was evaluated. Seven sowing depths (0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 6.0 and 10.0 cm) were studied. The evaluation period was 42 days after sowing. The emergence of seedlings, of both species, was maximum when placed on the soil surface. From 0.5 cm deep, there was a significant decrease in seedling emergence, and the emergence rate was zero at a depth of 10.0 cm for both species. In the third experiment, the effects of different amounts of straw (half, as recommended and twice as recommended for use) on the surface of the cover plants were studied: Cajanus cajan (Guandu beans), Crotalaria juncea (Crotalaria), Dolichos lablab (Lablab), Pennisetum glaucum (Millet) and Sorghum bicolor (Sorghum), on the emergence of species. The fourth experiment evaluated the allelopathic potential of aqueous extracts from aerial parts of species used as green manure in different concentrations (20%, 40%, 60% and 100%) on seed germination. In addition, tests were performed with PEG-6000 in order to determine the influence of the osmotic potential of the extracts. The use of cover plants can be an alternative in the integrated management of false buttonweed weeds. There was no significant difference between the different amounts of straw used, however the use of half of the recommendation was the least effective. Millet and crotalaria outperform other cover crops. Regarding the experiment with extracts, with the increase in concentrations there was a reduction in the percentage and speed of germination for S. densiflora and S. verticillata, and the osmotic potential of the aqueous extracts of the aerial part, of the cover plants varied between -0, 37 MPa and -1.24 MPa. Considering that in the experiment with PEG-6000 there was no germination of weed seeds with an osmotic potential below -0.8 MPa and that the percentage of germination in treatments at -0.2MPa and -0.4 MPa were higher than the rates obtained in the experiment with aqueous extracts of cover plants, it can be inferred that, possibly, in this interval, there was an allelopathic effect of cover plants.

When gathering the materials for study in this work, it was noticed that most of the research that refers to assessment is focused on elementary level or higher, being practically nonexistent in kindergarten education. Moreover, when we look to the assessment in Physical Education, the literature is even tiniest. Thus, although assessment is important in the learning process, little is known about this issue; therefore, it is necessary to expand the knowledge about Physical Education assessment, especially in kindergarten education. In this sense, this study aims to investigate, in the perception of Physical Education teachers from kindergarten education, the content and applicability of the observation worksheet used in a Municipal Educational Network. Twenty-one teachers participated in this exploratory study and provided a written informed consent form approved by the Institutional Review Board. Participants answered a semi-structured questionnaire, using the Google Forms platform, consisting of open and closed questions about the content and applicability of the assessment instrument used by teachers. Data analysis took place in three stages, namely: description of the data; cluster analysis and; categories of analyses. The information obtained in steps one and two supported the discussions in the categories of analyses. Based on the “Content” axis, the category of analysis “Relevance of criteria” emerged. In this category, the teachers' conception of the items on the worksheet is approached. In general, it was noted that teachers have greater dissatisfaction with motor aspects, due to the lack of criteria to assess motor skills. In addition, other suggestions were indicated to facilitate the observation of the teacher. From the “Applicability” axis, two categories emerged: the category “Relevance of the worksheet in the evaluation”, which revealed 3 different profiles of teachers regarding the acceptance of the worksheet under study: those favorable to the worksheet and without difficulties to apply it; those favorable to the spreadsheet, but who have difficulties in applying it; and; those resistant to the spreadsheet. The other category of this axis was called “Need for training on assessment in Physical Education”, whose majority of teachers registered the lack of dialogue about assessment in initial training, thus bringing more insecurity to assess their students. The discussions presented in this study sought to bring elements to dialogue about the weaknesses and potentialities of this guiding document, contributing to the process of searching for a coherent, efficient and practical evaluative action.

The graded response model is an Item Response Theory (IRT) model where items admit a polytomous response widely known in the literature. The motivation for this study comes from a data set which belongs to the RN4CAST project related to the burnout syndrome. This psychological syndrome has a multidimensional configuration of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment. The burnout measurements are obtained from the Maslach Burnout Inventory, a 22-item questionnaire to be answered on a 7-point Likert scale. Our proposal in this work is a study of the unidimensional and multiunidimensional graded response model, under the frequentist and Bayesian approaches, motivated by the data from the burnout syndrome, and for that, a simulation study is carried out to verify the behavior of empirical form of the model. Models are fitted with the marginal maximum likelihood and the Monte Carlo Markov chain via Gibbs sampler methods. The simulation study shows that, in general, the Monte Carlo Markov chain via Gibbs sampler method produces good results in the estimation of the item parameters and latent trait of the unidimensional gradual response model. The results of the multiunidimensional gradual response model study yield good results as the sample size and test size increase.

Sodium appetite in normotensive rats submitted to water deprivation (WD) for 24 h followed by 2 h with access to water only (partial rehydration–PR) depends on the activation of the renin-angiotensin system (RAS). Two-kidney-1-clip (2K1C) rats show a hyperactivation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) and an increase in sodium intake induced by WD-PR. Therefore, the aim of the present study were: 1) to verify the participation of angiotensin II (ANG II) receptors in sodium intake induced by WD in 2K1C rats; 2) to verify the participation aldosterone (ALDO) receptors in sodium intake during WD in 2K1C rats, 3) to verify if there is a synergism between ANG II and ALDO in sodium intake during WD in 2K1C rats. For this end, we used Hotlzman male rats (initial weight 150-180 g) to induce renovascular hypertension and sham surgery. A guide cannula was implanted in the lateral ventricle (LV) in both groups after 6 weeks of renal surgery. To distinguish thirst and sodium appetite, 5 days after implant recovery, 2K1C and sham rats were submitted to WD-PR protocol with LV injections of vehicle (1% ethanol in saline, 2 μl) or saline (0.15 M NaCl), RU28318 (100 ng/2 μl) or losartan (66 ug/1 μl), and to verify synergism, administration of RU+losartan or vehicle+saline were perfomed 10 min apart in a group of rats. After 3 days the tests were counterbalanced in each group. The blockade of ANG II AT1 receptors reduced water intake during thirst test in sham and 2K1C rats, which as not observed during the blockade of ALDO mineralocorticoid receptors (MR). Simultaneous blockade of the two receptors reduced water intake in sham and 2K1C rats during the thirst test. The 0.3 M NaCl intake was partially reduced during the sodium appetite test with AT1 receptors blockade in 2K1C rats. A similar effect was observed with the blockade of MR receptor in 2K1C rats. Double receptor blockade completely blocked sodium appetite in 2K1C rats. These results show that the sodium appetite induce by WD in 2K1C rats is mediated by the activation of the AT1 and MR, possibly by a greater activation of the RAAS, and that ANG II and ALDO have a synergism to induce sodium appetite in 2K1C rats.

The present study analyzed the experience knowledge shared by young people during a professional qualification course, with the premise of locating them in the center of the practices that are developed in a deprivation of liberty institution, a CASA Foundation unit, with the intention of to contribute to the social practices developed in these spaces, considering the proposals of social education as a means of transforming realities. For this, it was established as a research question: what knowledge do young people deprived of liberty teach and learn in the professional qualification program? Proposing to problematize the educational action that is developed between the different social actors through a perspective that has acquired visibility in the decolonial field, the excerpts that bring the speeches of the young people contribute to understand the impacts of the proposal of a training for entrepreneurship within capitalism engineered in the neoliberal prism. Adopting qualitative participatory research methods, the data were recorded and organized in field diaries, analyzed through dialogue with the bibliographic reference. Putting in check mechanisms that annul and stigmatize young people and their knowledge, and problematizing the boundary between the “world of work” and the “world of crime”, we reiterate the need to look for loopholes, whether in the political and social context, that in the current horizon, it is obscure, whether in the statements that both educators and students bring in the midst of so many socioeconomic conflicts and the very existence and configuration of youth incarceration policies.

This study focuses on the process of identity construction based on the articulation between personal experiences and the professional trajectory of male and female librarians. To this end, we sought to analyse how they perceive their identity within the field of Library Science. In this sense, the general problem of the research concerns the social construction of identity, at the professional level, by the interviewers. The methodology used was based on a qualitative approach, also using quantitative data from secondary sources. Having as theoretical support the conceptions of the sociology of professions, in the analytical models of Freidson (1998) and Abbott (1988) that approach how the professions consolidated professionalism. To search the macro – micro dimensions of the system of professions this study relies on Abbott (1988) and to think about a typology of identities in Dubar (2005), taking into account aspects such as the subject's trajectory, sociability and subjectivity in their relationship with the world of work. As for the procedures performed, it was divided into phases: (i) bibliographic survey; (ii) organization and selection of the state of the art; (iii) field research. The research corpus was built from literature review, illustrative quantitative data, document analysis and interviews. Fifteen subjects were interviewed, selected by snowball sampling, the type of professional relationship that resulted in the sample's profile as: (i) thirteen male and female librarians from public institutions; (ii) one from a private institution; (iii) one who worked in a private institution, but changed his profession. The sample construction sought to hear the different possibilities of bachelors in Library Science, in relation to professional activity, the institution where they work, the position they occupy, where they studied, age group, sex, color / race, in short, the characteristics that can capture the diversity of the group and the outline of the problem under study. We opted for an analytical model that understands this universe in its trajectory, starting from a historical and social panorama of Librarianship; next, indicators are presented on the number of professionals working in the whole country, in the Midwest Region and the state of Mato Grosso; ending with the result on the social profile of respondents in some cities in the state. What stood out in the speeches was that the professionals perform a constant reconfiguration of their professional identity. They represent their identity through negotiations, in which they emphasize the understanding of their identification, sometimes in the biographical processes - who I say that I am - and sometimes in the relational processes, in which the group (other professionals, professional bodies, training institutions) says what the librarian is.

Rural credit and rural insurance have an important role for the agricultural sector, once they are the main public policies to incentive agricultural production. Rural credit reduces the farmers's budget constraint, finances production costs and the use of new technologies. Rural insurance protects farmer’s income from production losses. Public resources subsidize the rural credit through the application of lower interest rates to the agricultural sector and rural insurance through the Rural Insurance Premium Subvention Program - PSR, “Proagro” and “Proagro Mais”. Given the importance the agricultural sector has on the Brazilian economy and the participation of public resources to sustain these policies, this research aimed to evaluate their efficiency for sugarcane, grains (soybeans, corn and wheat) and grape crops in São Paulo state. It is analyzed the data from “Agricultural Production Systematic Survey” (LUPA) in its more disaggregated level, the Agricultural Production Unity (UPA), for the years 2007/2008 and 2017/2018. It is analyzed the impact of rural credit and rural insurance policies in production, productivity and cultivated area. The analysis uses the methodology Propensity Score Matching (PSM) which allows to compare the groups that have used these programs and those groups that have not. We conclude that the rural credit and rural insurance policies impact the analyzed variables for grain and grape crops. However, for sugarcane crop the rural credit crop did not impact the production, productivity or cultivated area and the rural insurance impacted these variables only in the year of 2017/18.
