The effort is to understand the ways in which young people experience the practice of compulsory school reinsertion taking into account the different trajectories and relationships woven and legitimized in the tangle of institutions present in this plot. In addition, I propose to problematizing the notion of socio-education as a punitive method for a possible re-socialization and how these terms are placed in the context of this dissertation where school reintegration plays a fundamental role. The research was carried out in three stages and in MSE-MA services located in three peripheral regions of the city of São Paulo, with three different modes of insertion in the field. The insertions and the actions in each three of the research stages, first as a technique in the implementation of the MSE-MA, later as an educator and later as a researcher, are problematized and deepened as ethnographic experiences. Since amphibians may be more vulnerable to habitat modification because of their life cycle dependence on both land and water, it is critical to identify species’ ability to acclimate in warming climates. Here, we investigate the effects of temperature acclimation on tadpoles of a stream-breeding savanna tree frog (Bokermannohyla ibitiguara) and the relationship between the thermal conditions experienced in their microhabitat. We quantified variation in thermal physiology by measuring routine and maximum metabolic rate (RMR and MMR, respectively) at different test (15, 20, 25, 30 e 34°C) and acclimation temperatures (18 and 25°C). In addition, we measured body characteristics of the two groups and the heart rate (fH) before and after autonomic blockade with atropine and sotalol. Further, we determined the critical thermal maximum (CTmax) and warming tolerance (WT=CTmax-Tmax), which were not affected by acclimation. The routine and maximum metabolic rate and fH increased with acute exposure to high test temperatures, although the acclimation did not affect significantly the maximum metabolic rate, fH or the autonomic tones. In addition to this absence of physiological compensation, we observed a decrease in aerobic scope in the group acclimated to 25 °C, followed by a 53.8% reduction in body mass in the tadpoles of this group. In conclusion, the tadpoles of B. ibitiguara inhabit in a thermally stable environment and are not able to thermally acclimate to high temperatures like 5°C above those found in their micro-habitat, making the species more vulnerable to climate changes or/and with degradation of their habitat.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Estudo e simulação de diferentes lógicas de controle de temperatura em processo fermentativo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2020-11-20) Morais, Matheus Lima de; Horta, Antonio Carlos Luperni; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5923938048634505; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7466657728607199In this work, a study was carried out on the main types of process control logic, making comparisons and simulations focusing on temperature control of an alcoholic fermentation process in a bioreactor with a thermal jacket. Before proceeding to the mathematical modeling of the proposed system, a bibliographic review was made studing the motivation for using temperature control in fermentative processes, the theory of process and process control and finally the concept of three important control logics, onoff, PID and Fuzzy. To present the structure of a Fuzzy control, an introductory study was made on Fuzzy logic itself and how it can be used in process controls. The free software Scilab was used to simulate the compared logics. The results of the simulations made for the process in question indicated that the biochemical system behaved as expected, resulting in cell growth and ethanol production while the substrate is fed and then consumed. The results obtained also indicated that for conventional controller bioprocesses, which are dynamic systems, conventional controllers such as on-off and PID have some stability restrictions. On the other side, the results show that the Fuzzy logic can be adapted with good stability, although requiring a fine tuning by a specialist. Finally, it was possible to see in the result of each simulation that the system behaves within the predicted theory and thus make the relevant comparisons and conclusions.
