(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2020-12-04) Almeida, Mariana Quixabeira Guimarães; Dibai Filho, Almir Vieira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1144110354316280; Avila, Mariana Arias; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5905617922199364; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2774332614770133
Introduction: Neck pain can be defined as pain located in the posterior cervical region up to the upper scapular level. Considering functional disability as an important clinical aspect during the assessment of chronic neck pain, the importance of valid and reliable instruments with methodological sturdiness is emphasized, in order to use in studies and guide clinical practice of healthcare professionals who treat people with chronic neck pain, considering the cultural and idiomatic specificities of Brazilian Portuguese. Objective: The aim of this study was twofold: 1) to perform the translation and cross-cultural adaptation into Brazilian Portuguese of the Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire (NPQ) for individuals with chronic neck pain; 2) to measure the reproducibility, structural validity, construct validity and internal consistency of this new version of the instrument. Methods: One hundred and seventy-nine people with chronic neck pain took part in the study. In order to analyze the structural validity, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis were used with the following fit indexes: Chi-square (X²), Chi-square divided by degrees of freedom (X²/df), Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA), Comparative Fit Index (CFI) and Tucker Lewis Index (TLI). To test the construct validity, Spearman's correlation (rho) was used with the other instruments used in the study: Numerical Pain Scale (NPS), Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia (TSK), Pain Catastrophizing Scale (PCS) and Neck Disability Index (NDI). A subsample of 84 patients completed the NPQ in two moments in a minimum interval of 7 days and a maximum of 10 days, in order to assess reliability test-retest using the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), standard error of measurement (SEM) and minimum detectable change (MDC). The internal consistency of the NPQ was analyzed by Cronbach's alpha. The floor and ceiling effects were also evaluated in the study. Results: The factor analysis identified a one-dimensional structure of the NPQ with adequate fit indexes: X2/gl = 1.09, CFI = 0.99, TLI = 0.99, RMSEA (IC a 90%) = 0.031 (0.000 to 0.145). Adequate reliability was observed for the total NPQ score, with values of ICC of 0.94, SEM of 3.33 points (14.17%) and MDC of 9.22 points (39.27%). Adequate values of internal consistency were also observed, with Cronbach's alpha of 0.76. There were no ceiling and floor effects. Conclusion: The Brazilian version of the NPQ with a one-dimensional structure and 5 items has adequate measurement properties, supporting its use in the clinical context and in research with patients with chronic neck pain.

    Minha formação na Medicina UFSCar
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2020-12-04) Inoue, Igor Eiky; Trindade, Amélia Arcângela Teixeira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0644405079661875; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2992745023935507
The goal was to make a narrative about expectations and reflections, as it was at the beginning of graduation in the activity "expectations for the course of UFSCar Medicine", but now I talk about a new cycle: professional life as a doctor. In this work I followed the molds of the Pedagogical Project of the Medicine course of UFSCar and the divisions of the teaching spiral: first cycle, second cycle, third cycle, electives and extracurricular activities. For this, I counted on memorials of events that happened during graduation, and the organization of writing represents how these reflections take place in my mind. I enter this new moment very excited about what is still to be seen and grateful for all the experiences lived, good or bad, are what they are and were important to who I am.

The man-water relationship has passed through different moments over the years, and the current rejection for its presence in urban spaces reflects the hygienist policies. Water in urban environments was pointed as a vector of epidemics and bad smell, what was related to lack of maintenance and disuse of the system, resulting in stormwater and sewage flowing together though the streets. The solution, at the time, was to hide and pipe it, actions that cause impacts till nowadays. The traditional systems, beside the high rate of urbanization and soil imperviousness, are insufficient to the great volume drained, causing floods and damages. Alternative approaches to stormwater management have shown superior results, such as the complementary application of Best Management Practices (BMP) and Low Impact Development (LID) principles. This master's research focuses on developing an approach in which Cities Master Plan consider stormwater and sustainable drainage among land uses, integrating it into urban environment. As a result, a study case was carried out to apply the approach in Guararapes/SP, a State of São Paulo’s small city. From the definition of the problem tree, guidelines for solving the problem related to floods were pointed out. Among the guidelines, the need for legislative and community development for environmental education focused on the impact of cities on the environment and updating and correlation of municipal legislation prevailed, with the aid of sustainable urban development materials and the use of alternative approaches to stormwater drainage. Most Brazilian cities have seen urban water management as object of complementary plans, making efficient and premeditated implementation difficult when developing urban scenarios, often generating environmental, social and economic impacts. In addition to demonstrating applicability in different Brazilian contexts, this research explains the need for legislative updates at the three government levels, as well as the inclusion of sustainable urban discussions related to current contexts. Stormwater drainage was used as the theme of the work and demonstrates an educational and spatial need for its implementation, meaning as a reference for discussion to be based on various themes related to urban spaces. The intercommunication of cities’ sectors is necessary when looking for improvement and applicability of foundations that apply to a context as multiple as cities are.

This dissertation, entitled “Workshop of thoughts in the promotion of philosophical experience”, presents a way for the philosophy discipline to promote a philosophical experience for the subjects involved in it, as it appears that philosophizing has been rare in the teaching of philosophy, since this has been offered by models and official documents that function as obstacles and distances from the real function of the discipline. Most of the time the teaching of this curricular component was not characterized by the philosophical experience. The objective of this study is to bring philosophizing effectively to teach and learn, valuing the dialogical perspective of the subjects through the sharing of experiences in a collaborative way, from the training of teachers to teaching. The bibliographic research focused on the works of Walter Benjamim, Jorge Larrosa and Walter Kohan. With the analysis of the texts, it was possible to perceive the progressive distance between the subjects, the practice of the discipline and to signal a path for change. Following the theoretical references of Walter Kohan, we seek to facilitate this approach by creating the project entitled Oficina de Pensamentos, where the craft of thinking was prioritized in a collaborative involvement within that learning community and the themes developed in the workshop started from uneasy relationships between students and its truths, in a way we call a philosopher. Therefore, the conclusion reached was that through the Workshop of Thoughts, teaching and learning was reconstructed, through the cooperative sensitivity that started from the experience of those involved, each one within his time and space, promoting the gradual reconstruction of teaching and learning. from learning towards the philosophical experience

Sanitation service provision in Brazilian municipalities follow the recommendations of Federal Law no 11,445 / 2007, which points out the use of indicators for the analysis of sanitary, epidemiological, environmental and socioeconomic items. The Environmental Health Indicator (ISA), prepared by the State Sanitation Council of the State of São Paulo (CONESAN) in 1999, represents the proposed model to evaluate the water supply (cover, water quality and production system saturation), sewage (cover, treatment and treatment saturation), solid waste (cover, quality of the final disposal site and final disposition saturation), vector control (dengue, schitosmosis and leptospirosis), water resources (quantity and quality) and socioeconomic aspects (health, economy and education). The objective of the present research was to evaluate the environmental health of the municipalities located in the northwestern portion of the Water Resources Management Unit (UGHRI) 4 – Pardo River Basin, state of São Paulo, for the base year 2018, based on guidelines from the Rio Pardo River Basin Committee (CBH-Pardo). The methodology consisted of data searches made available electronically, calculating the ISA of the municipalities according to CONESAN (1999) method and adapting the model with an emphasis on improving water resources. By analysis of six municipalities, 18 indicators of ISA pointed out environmental health conditions (75,51 ≤ ISA ≤ 100,00) for two of them and average (50,51 ≤ ISA ≤ 75,50) for the others. After ISA adaptation all municipalities were classified into average health condition (50,51 ≤ ISA ≤ 75,50). The results indicated drainage (Altinópolis, Brodowski, Cravinhos, Jardinópolis and Serrana), vector control (Cravinhos and Ribeirão Preto) and sewage (Jardinópolis and Serrana) as topics that require greater investment in the municipalities. ISA can be used by CBH-Pardo as an instrument for assessing and monitoring the evolution of municipalities over the years, even pointing out guidelines in the Hydrographic Basin Plan for improving the quantity and quality of water resources.
