It is recognized that semiconductor materials present as fundamental supports in the technological development for methods of wastewater treatment, in order to eliminate compounds that may contribute to the disruption of the reproductive system of environmental species. In this scenario, the photoanodes were produced based on titanium dioxide (TiO2) film over a glass surface conductive with tin oxide dopped with fluorine (FTO). Then, cadmium sulfide nanoparticles (CdS) were deposited on the FTO/TiO2 systems using an electrodeposition technique. The time and temperature of the deposition were studied and optimized to verify the best proportion and thickness of the CdS film. These studies lead to increase in the photocurrent effect. In this work, the films were characterized by linear sweep voltammetry, chronoamperometry, transmission electron microscopy, dispersive energy diffraction of the selected area, X-ray diffraction and diffuse reflectance. All these techniques were performed to evaluate the morphological, structural, and optical properties of the proposed films. The degradation process of samples containing naproxen was characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy and determination of total organic carbon. From the characterizations, it was observed that the TiO2 film is composed of spherical particles distributed in agglomerates, whose major phase is pure anatase. The CdS particles presented as a polycrystalline material, with low energy between bands, leading to an increase in the catalytic sites, which led to an increase in the photo-anode photo response. The photoanodes were applied to standardized environmental samples. For each conditions, the rate constant in the decay of the drug concentration was estimated, using as standard a sample that contained a 1.0 x 10-5 mol L-1 solution of naproxen, in pH phosphate buffer medium 7.0. The photoanodes were used in the photo-electro degradation processes under UVc radiation, with application of + 2.0 V for 6 hours. As expected, the FTO/TiO2/CdS electrode showed a superior response to TiO2 with kinetic constant estimated at k = 1.1 x 10-2 min-1 and t1/2 of 62.16 min-1. The organic carbon study revealed a decrease of 22.1 % of the degradation process. For this purpose, the guidelines of the Common National Curricular Base for teaching percentage in the 5th grade were consulted, with the objective of knowing the abilities to be reached by the students of this level of education. Then, it was sought to identify the difficulties of teachers in teaching mathematics in 5th grade classes, as well as to elaborate sequences of activities as evaluative strategies, in order to obtain a greater reach in understanding the percentage content. A survey was carried out with 5th grade teachers in the municipal school network of Salto de Pirapora - SP, by means of a questionnaire with semi-structured questions, created to interweave the context of education in a coherent chronology, taking into account a broad panorama regarding training and the teaching profession in Brazil. During the implementation of this study, which began in 2019, some evaluative strategies were thought and executed considering the practice of evaluation as a continuous process, which must be mediated by the teacher and which must assume a diagnostic character for an improvement of the pedagogical practice and, consequently, the learning of the student. However, in 2020, through the current pandemic scenario caused by the new Coronavirus, difficulties were encountered to carry out some of the strategies elaborated and, therefore, adjustments were necessary. In addition to lung damage, COPD has several systemic consequences including impairment cardiovascular and functional. Commonly, this disease results in hospitalization in periods known as exacerbations that impact even more negatively on the health of this population, including an increased risk for cardiovascular events. However, little is known about cardiac structure and function in newly exacerbated and stable patients and their possible relationship with exercise capacity. Objectives: To assess cardiac structure and function in patients with stable COPD and recent exacerbation and their relationship with exercise capacity. Methods: Observational and cross-sectional study. The sample consisted of 40 individuals with COPD distributed in groups: 1) COPD recently exacerbated (30 days) (GEX n = 20) and, COPD clinically stable for at least three months (GEST = 20). For cardiovascular evaluation, the Doppler echocardiogram was performed and the diameter of the aorta, diameter of the left atrium, diastolic and systolic diameters of the left ventricle (LV), thickness of the interventricular septum, thickness of the posterior wall (PP) of the LV, diameter of the right ventricle (RV) were considered. ) and volumes of the left and right atria; additionally, measurements were taken regarding the function of the LV and the RV (E, A and S waves, in addition to the E / A and E / e 'relationships). Then, the six-minute walk test (6MWT) was performed and the distance walked (SD) was considered to assess exercise capacity Results: In the comparison between stable and exacerbated patients, no significant difference was observed for cardiac function and structure assessed by Doppler echocardiogram. We observed that there was a positive correlation between mitral E / A and DP on the 6MWT (r = 0.50; p = 0.001), and a negative correlation between PP of the LV and SD on the 6MWT (r = -0.33; p = 0.035). Its socioeconomic importance was highlighted, considering the in natura cassava, its starch and the hydrated gum, studying its physicochemical properties (acidity, pH and moisture content) and how these influence its organoleptic and conservation characteristics. A tapioca production process already in operation was also described and analyzed, highlighting the functions of each present unit operation and the importance of each added ingredient. In addition to the process, the quality control already implemented was also studied, highlighting the analytical determinations carried out that guarantee the safety and integrity of the food produced, in addition to its adequacy to the standards. Statistical process control (CEP) tools were also applied, through statistical software, for all process indicators already used in current quality control, aiming to understand the behavior of the process and its disturbances, in addition to locating possible special causes. and propose appropriate improvements. In this scenario, although children are surrounded by computing, many are still passive users, that is, they do not understand the computational solutions they use and do not use their potential to solve real problems. This problem is aggravated by children of preschool age, that is, 4 to 5 years in Brazil. What is clear is that, although children are exposed to computational solutions, preschool teachers are still discouraged from teaching content related to computers and technology for children, as they consider complex and unrelated to basic curricula and also due to the lack of plans that serve as pedagogical support for the application of activities in the classroom. Thus, in order to help overcome these barriers, the objective of this research is to propose and evaluate a set of activities that offer methodological didactic support so that preschool teachers can work independently on the elementary and preliminary concepts related to the knowledge of computing for children aged 4 to 5 years. To this end, the methodological approach of this research was divided into two stages: (1) used the focus group method with 6 professionals in computing and education to develop 14 lesson plans of didactic activities that addressed content related to data storage and processing, the 4 competencies of computational thinking, the approach to teaching unplugged (without the use of technologies) and, finally, linked to the axes and competencies of the Common National Curricular Base. (2) used the survey method with 113 professionals linked to preschoolers and pedagogy students to evaluate the lesson plans of the didactic activities proposed by this research using the online questionnaire technique. According to the data analysis, considering the total of 339 evaluations received from the lesson plans for each aspect of the rubric used and adapted for this research, obtained an average positive result greater than 90%. Furthermore, considering the comments to the open and non-mandatory question and the interest of the evaluators (96.5%) in applying the activities developed in the classroom after a post-pandemic scenario, the results suggest that the hypothesis of this research was confirmed and the objective achieved. However, future studies will be able to investigate how teachers autonomously apply these activities in the classroom and see if in fact children can, from practice, have a better understanding of the world with the technology around them and take ownership of new technological solutions and become possible active users. The methodology used in this work focused on the qualitative approach from the specialized literature on the theme and documentary analysis considering five corporations selected for the understanding of the object (Kroton (Cogna), YDUQS (Estácio), Laureate, Unip and Ser Educacional. documentary view of and about corporations, we highlight the following as a search path: a) Analysis of grades of courses offered by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP): they as disclosures by Enade and other indexes that believe quality HEI; b) The exponential growth of supply by corporations, through institutional records of free access, the market reached and its relations with public policies and ways of impacting social implications (social inclusion considering the socioeconomic level, among others). One approach is to use blocks to constitute a visual programming paradigm. Making a metaphor for puzzle pieces, the commands snap together to form programs, and can only be joined in the appropriate places, avoiding errors of logic and syntax. Following this direction, the BIPES (Block based Integrated Platform for Embedded Systems) emerged as an open source environment that allows to develop, program, compile, deploy and test applications on embedded systems and Internet of Things devices. Totally based on the WEB, it does not require the installation of any additional software and supports boards such as ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi. Due to the nature of the project, there was a need to integrate a protocol admittedly appropriate for IoT, the MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport). Therefore, two modules (sets of blocks) were developed for the MQTT: one of them allows the complete configuration of the connection parameters and control over the messages exchanged, therefore it is aimed at a user with greater knowledge over the technology and who seeks more flexibility; another, nicknamed EasyMQTT, allows easy prototyping and deployment of applications containing MQTT, without complicated configurations, with an easy view of the acquired data, in addition to having an Application Programming Interface (API) that allows its integration in other applications. The modules were validated by solving a real problem of FITOTEC (Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Technology in Phytoproducts) located at UNESP – Assis campus, where it was necessary to monitor the temperature and humidity of an egg incubator for a few days. For this, two programs were created, one for each module developed, which were tested in the incubator for two different periods of time using an ESP8266. The results proved the stability of the developed modules, including their ability to recover from instabilities in the network, managing to recover and continue communicating after some consecutive connection failures. Given this, the production of biofuels has a prominent role, as it has numerous benefits, including renewable production, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and social and regional development. Among biofuels, biodiesel has a high potential for replacing part of fossil fuel derivatives such as diesel. The production of biodiesel through the transesterification of renewable raw materials, such as vegetable oils and animal fats, which in the presence of a catalyst reacts chemically with an alcohol, is increasing quickly due to strong government policies and incentives. However, the increase in the production of biodiesel generates a corresponding growth in the production of glycerol. Glycerol is a valuable by-product in the production of biodiesel by transesterification and although there are markets for it, a significant expansion in its availability would destabilize it. Thus, the purification of glycerol as well as the conversion of glycerol into products with added value, such as glycerol carbonate, has achieved increasing interest in recent years. Glycerol carbonate is a key and multifunctional compound used as a solvent, additive, monomer and chemical intermediate. This study proposes to analyze the production of glycerol carbonate through reactive distillation, where the basic catalytic transesterification of purified glycerol occurs. For this, the Aspen Plus® software was used to perform the simulation of the chemical plant and the modeling was based on the NRTL thermodynamic model, Wilson's thermodynamic model and first order rate kinetics in relation to dimethyl carbonate (DMC) and glycerol and dependent on the concentration of catalyst, which is potassium carbonate (K2CO3). This study aimed to investigate, understand and interpret how the “new routine” is being used in the new teaching modality applied during social distance, caused by the coronavirus pandemic (COVID19) in 2020. Some issues were analyzed such as: What are the measures adopted by educational institutions, which seek in some way to assist teaching work? What are the main difficulties faced by the teacher to maintain his classes? How is the labor day going? Is it possible to reconcile work at home-office with other tasks? What would help the teacher in this adaptation process? What consequences are these adaptation processes bringing to the teacher? These are some of the questions that the present work sought to answer. To obtain the answers to the questions, a relatively simple and easily accessible tool was used, which are the forms. The form was developed on the digital platform google forms, which generating a sharing link can be distributed through digital media such as WhatsApp, E-mail, Facebook, among others. The form was being available for completion for approximately 13 days and obtained 100 respondents, among teachers from different teaching stages and different educational institutions, both public and private. Subsequently, the data were properly treated and discussed according to the literature. One of the results obtained that certainly drew attention was that, amid so many events and work factors, the teacher maintained his concern with the learning, well-being, and health of students. Another point to be highlighted is the significant increase in work hours and overload, a hing index of worries, fear, and uncertainties, culminating feelings of anxiety as described by 78%, stress 52%, overload 69%, and tiredness 63% of the respondents. In this context, several researches are being carried out to study the feasibility of incorporating additives and additions to concrete, targeting materials with lower thermal conductivities that achieve a better thermal performance. One of these additions is nanosilica, which has already been studied in relation to durability and compressive strength of concrete, but little is being explored regarding its thermal conductivity. In this direction, the addition of nanosilica provides a filler and pozzolanic effect in the cement matrix, which results in a greater refinement of the pores, however, in adequate levels and dosages, this partial substitution of cement by nanosilica is believed to cause an inverse effect, leading to the creation of small voids in the cement paste, reducing the density of concrete and significantly suppressing heat transfer. Thus, in this work, the effect of adding nanosilica to the thermal conductivity of concrete was studied from the development of concrete with the addition of 0%, 5% and 10% of colloidal nanosilica in mass substitution to cement. The specific mass, water absorption, void index, compressive strength and thermal conductivity of the developed concrete were evaluated, the results of which were analyzed by the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and later submitted to the Tukey test. In general, the results indicate that the addition of colloidal nanosilica causes a significant increase in the specific mass of the concrete, as well as in the compressive strength values for the traces with the addition of 10% of colloidal nanosilica in mass substitution to cement at the ages of 48 hours and 7 days. The objective of this article is to study the main causes of returns and alternatives presented in the literature that best suits the case of tangible financial products of a banking company in Brazil to all involved parts of the operation, the emission company, the intermediate operator, and the end customer. Tangible financial products such as credit and debit cards are characterized by their small size and the high rate of missed deliveries. As case study, it was confronted the perception of three groups related with the process: the clients, the intermediate operators, and the issuing company. Based on the literature review, several factors may be related to home deliveries failures for this type of product, such as lack of security, urban infrastructure challenges, and operational failures. With the alternatives identified, all the parties involved to the financial product last mile delivery will be then confronted regarding the feasibility of the alternatives for delivering. The obtained results showed that the alternative that best suits the case is Pick-Up Point that attend the main factors elected, the security, the product’s state of conservation, and the delivery time. They are divided between butterflies and moths. The feeding type are divided between those who eat nectar or those who eat fruit. Some species are generalists and can feed on both. Nectarivorous lepidopterans show preference in the foraging of some flowers due to their color and smell. The feeding preference of Heliconius erato (nymphalidae), Phoebis neocypris (Pieridae) and Siproeta stelenes (nymphalidae) was observed at the Borboletário Municipal de Osasco/ SP, where it was noted that, both for H. erato has preferences for yellow and Orange over blue and green and na olfactary preference in the floral scent of Lantana Camara. Already P. neocypris had their landings in red color noting similarity with nature, since they feed on flowers with vibrant colors and also Lantana câmara, but that generalista species like S. stelenes have no preference for any color, because they act concomitantly as a kind of nectarivorous and frugivorous habits. This pollution tends to harm the quality of life of living beings, being harmful to their health. Thus, studying methodologies to reduce air pollution is of great value to the health of society. One of the major causes of air pollution is the industrial process, which has received stricter regulation and oversight by the government in recent decades. In the sugar-alcohol industry, biomass burning is a major source of gases and aerosols containing ions and organic compounds. This increase in the release of smoke and soot is associated with the presence of components harmful to human health, such as carcinogenic and mutagenic components. Currently, different equipment is known to remove polluting particles from the industrial disposal current in the atmosphere. These equipments include cyclones, electrostatic precipitators, filters and gas washers. Each equipment has its operating condition and efficiency, and may depend on the medium in which it is inserted with its respective characteristics, such as temperature, particle size, particle composition and flow. To increase the commercial competitiveness of the equipment, it seeks to evolve the durability, energy consumption and efficiency of the same. In this context, there are the hybrid filters, which are the junction of the principle of two or more gas-solid separation equipment in order to improve the gas filtration process. Analyzing the hybrid systems composed by the union of electrostatic precipitators and bag filters, it was possible to classify three types of such solutions: electrically energized filter, hybrid electrostatic filter and hybrid electrostatic precipitator. All these constructions allow increased particle collection efficiency smaller than 2.5 μm (PM2.5) and decreased pressure drop through the bag filter. In this context, Special Education becomes a field of visibility since education is a right for all and students of the Special Education target audience are part of these policies and, consequently, of the educational action of future teachers. Countless researches are carried out uniting this public, but in the context of Social Skills Training (THS), there are still few researches involving this population. Thus, this research aimed to develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of a Training in Social and Social Educational Skills, with an emphasis on Special Education, for students of undergraduate courses regarding: 1. The repertoire of social, social and educational skills and social attitudes towards inclusion; 2. The perception of the contribution of educational social and social skills to personal and professional training in the view of the participants; 3. Refining the lesson plans of the participants. The research was characterized as experimental, with a pre- and post-test design with a control group and follow-up after the end of four months of intervention. 26 undergraduate students participated in the Pedagogy, Special Education and Degree in Chemistry courses, with only two males and an average age of 21 years. The THS took place at a public university and had 13 intervention sessions, being the data collection instruments: 1. Questionnaire: Knowledge and Use of Educational Social and Social Skills at school, 2. Social Skills Inventory 2, 3. Inventory of Educational Social Skills, 4. Likert Scale of Social Attitudes towards Inclusion, 5. Weekly Meeting Evaluation Form, 6. Social Evaluation Questionnaire for the Program, and 7. Lesson Plans produced by students. For data analysis, repeated measures ANOVA using SPSS, content analysis and textual analysis using the IRAMUEC software were used. The results showed significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the scores of the Social Skills Inventory 2, Social Educational Skills Inventory and Likert Scale of Social Attitudes towards Inclusion, suggesting that the THS was effective for the participants in the experimental group. The content analysis showed that the participants of the experimental group positively evaluated themselves in the participation of the THS and that this type of intervention can help the reflective practice in future teachers. The lesson plans showed no differences in the pre and post-tests, but they did raise important discussions, such as having the student as the main guiding axis in the elaboration of these plans. For future research it is suggested to test how the groups would behave with a long-term HRT (2 semesters for example) maintaining the scientific rigors of control and experimental groups, how the social skills and educational social skills would be (and if they would be) applied by students in the internship contexts encompassing both their own and their supervisors' views, testing how the THS could impact the application of a lesson plan in an internship context and a longitudinal study that understood the entry and exit repertoires of university students who go through such a THS.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Modulação autonômica cardíaca e a influência da noradrenalina frente à mobilização passiva em pacientes com choque séptico(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2020-12-16) Melger, Maria Julia Checo; Kawakami, Débora Mayumi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9692224107315722; Mendes, Renata Gonçalves; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9634590922242052; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3815934736009097Introduction: Sepsis is currently one of the main causes of hospital death and when associated with the use of vasopressor medication and lactate> 2mol mmol / L is defined as septic shock. This patient has impairment in the sympathetic and parasympathetic autonomic nervous system (ANS). In addition, for these hospitalized and bedridden patients, passive mobilization is a widely used strategy, but there is still a lack of evidence on the association between vasoactive medication in the cardiac autonomic response. Objective: To investigate the presence of an association between vasoactive drugs and the response of cardiac autonomic modulation to passive mobilization in patients with septic shock. Methods: Prospective interventional study. The sample consisted of 16 individuals diagnosed with septic shock. The heart rate variability (HRV) indices were analyzed: DFA, PNS, BF / AF and RMSSD, in the pre, during and post mobilization moments, as well as the HRV variations (deltas: ∆mob-pre, ∆post-mob and (Post-pre). To verify the association between the use of noradrenaline and HRV, Spearman's correlation coefficient was used, with a significance level of 5% (p <0.05). Results: Correlations were found between noradrenaline and the HRV variation, as shown: negative correlations between 1. noradrenaline and the DFA1 index (r = -0.64; p = 0.009) and 2. Noradrenaline and BF / AF ratio (r = -0.49; p = 0.05) for post-premob delta and mob-pre delta, respectively. In addition to 3. positive correlations between noradrenaline and the PNS index (r = 0.54; p = 0.032) for mob-pre delta. Conclusion: noradrenaline is associated with the response of cardiac autonomic modulation to passive mobilization in patients with septic shock.
