    The evaluation of the safety culture allows to eobtain a clear view of the aspects related to patient safety that need adjustments and require more attention, enabling the institution to improve its work processes. The current pandemic of COVID-19 has generated several changes in health organizations that directly impact the performance of professionals and patient safety. In this context, this research sought to answer the following question: What is the culture of patient safety in a university hospital and its interface with COVID-19 from the perspective of health professionals? This research aimed to evaluate the patient safety culture in a university hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a descriptive, cross-sectional, Survey type study with a quantitative approach, by applying the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture questionnaire to professionals who work directly and indirectly in patient care. 336 health professionals working at the hospital were invited to participate in the research. The questionnaire was sent by email to the participants and the data collection took place from December 1, 2020 to January 15, 2021. The data were submitted to descriptive analysis guided by the User’s Guide of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. The rate of response to the questionnaire was 6.54% in the hospital as a whole and 23.07% among nursing technicians in Pediatrics. No dimension was considered strengthened. Two dimensions were considered neutral in the general analysis and five dimensions were considered neutral in the analysis of Pediatrics. The most critical dimensions, which presented the worst index of positive responses, were: “Nonpunitive response to error”, “Frequency of event reporting”, “Staffing”, “Teamwork across hospital units”, “Feedback and communication about error", "Supervisor/manager expectations and actions promoting patient safety"," Overall perceptions of safety". The survey results are in line with other surveys that did not have strengthened dimensions and whose dimension “Nonpunitive response to error” is considered critical. It was not possible to correlate the results with the COVID-19 pandemic due to the absence of a previous study that evaluated the patient safety culture at the institution.

    This research project makes use of kinematics for a study of the subject’s postural pattern, through the processing of video images and with the use of a baropodometry platform. Men and women aged between 18 and 60 years, who self-declared that they did not have joint dysfunction, pain and physical or cognitive impairment, were subject to age. The analysis obtained two postural patterns, the first non-static pattern and then a non-dynamic pattern in motion. In the static pattern, an analysis was made through the baropodometry platform that presents the pressures of loads and surfaces of the subjects’ plantar regions. In the dynamic pattern, the subject was filmed in motion, in profile and posterior positions, allowing the reconstruction of a model in three dimensions. For the analysis of the images of the videos, software was developed in C ++ language that used the libraries for image processing, ac OpenCV and 3D visualization called ac VTK. The information collected from this analysis served to compare the subject’s movements evaluated in gait, associated with the image of the pressure of the step and the plantar areas of the same subject, in order to determine patterns related to the types of steps with the analysis of the dynamic patterns. The type of foot cava and the movements of the hip on the skull-tail axis and the flexion and extension movements of the right hip were predominant in this research. Therefore, it is feasible to use the programming for the professional’s clinical reasoning, helping for a good conduct of assessment, diagnosis, orientation and monitoring of developments in the treatment of physiotherapy.

    This work focuses on four major themes: semiflows; generalized semiflows; invariant measure for set-valued maps; and random dynamical systems. The study of semiflows aims to understand the asymptotic behavior of solutions to problems with unique solutions. The generalized semiflows, on the other hand, allow the solution for an initial data to be not unique, thus allowing a wider variety of problems. Both studies, in this work, have the main goal of providing conditions for the existence of an attractor, and properties on it. When dealing with invariant measures for set-valued maps, it is important to say that different proposals have been made over the past few years to define this concept. In this work, four of these definitions are presented, and at the end it is shown that they are all equivalent under certain conditions. Finally, a version of ergodic theorem for set-valued map is presented, with an application to a dynamical system wich generates a generalized semiflow with atractor. Finally, in random (discrete) dynamical systems, the system is not limited to the iterations of a unique map, but to successive applications of maps chosen randomly within a certain family. A version of ergodic theorem is presented for this case, with a new application to a dynamical system wich generates a generalized semiflow with atractor.
