Recently, the implementation of infection prevention programs has been recognized especially in view of the experience with COVID-19 and with resistance to antimicrobials. The number of patients admitted with suspicion or known to be colonized by specific agents of epidemiological importance has shown a significant increase and during their stay in the hospital they may develop a feeling of loneliness and feel vulnerable, thus, the inclusion of companions and permission to visit represents an important positive impact on your recovery. Given the risk of transmissibility of pathogens from the colonized patient, attention is needed to prevent the health of the companion or visitor. However, there are no guidelines that guarantee the creation of recommendations aimed at these people, which may or may not be present in Hospital Infection Control Programs, in addition, the meaning and usefulness of infection prevention measures may not be well understood among health professionals. companions and visitors, generating health risk. The scarcity of productions related to this theme points out weaknesses in relation to the theme. Objective: To relate the recommendations contained in the Hospital Infection Control Programs aimed at companions and visitors of hospitalized patients under specific precautions with the perception of the professionals of the Hospital Infection Control Commission regarding the possible barriers to the implementation of these recommendations and their accession by companions and visitors. Methods: Descriptive and exploratory study, like a Survey, with a quantitative approach, carried out with 89 professionals from Hospital Infection Control Commissions, between March and June 2020. The recruitment of participants took place by “Snowball” sampling and data analyzed according to the frequency of responses. Results: The sample consisted of 67 nurses, 21 doctors and 1 nursing technician. The recommendations contained in the Hospital Infection Control Programs were not uniform, with hand hygiene, not entering other patients' rooms and the use of personal protective equipment prevalent for all types of precautions. Based on the perception of professionals of the Hospital Infection Control Commission, the main barriers were the lack of knowledge of companions and visitors about precautions, the lack of professional guidance and inadequate infrastructure, in addition, non-compliance actions carried out by companions and visitors related to the use of personal protective equipment and entering other rooms, were reported as hindering the process of implementing the recommendations. Conclusion: There was no uniformity in the recommendations contained in the Hospital Infection Control Programs. The study revealed practices that can lead to increased institutional costs, a shortage of health products and the representation of health risks. Professional training and adequate information tools for companions and visitors are points that must be analyzed to strengthen adherence to the recommendations.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Inovação no setor público: percepção de uso do Sistema Eletrônico de Informações (SEI) por servidores da Pró-Reitoria de Gestão de Pessoas da UFSCar(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-02-11) Tamegushi, Mirele Lie; Rigolin, Camila Carneiro Dias; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2388584081961836; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3455493789310151Public sector innovation is an issue that needs further study, as this approach is more widespread in private organizations. With the historical changes brought about by technological transformations and, more recently, by the internet, new challenges have been introduced in the administration of public services in Brazil. The consequence of this process of changes has boosted the implementation of information systems in the Federal public sector, capable of increasing transparency, autonomy, agility and, at the same time, bringing public agencies and their users closer together. In addition to increasing the efficiency of processes at the organizational level, the Federal Government's concern also refers to compliance with the current regulations, including the Law on Access to Information, nº. 12.527/2011, which guarantees access and disclosure of information and, more recently Decree nº. 8.539/2015, which provides for the use of electronic means for carrying out the administrative process. Therefore, the objective of the research can be expressed as analyzing the perception of use of the Electronic Information System (SEI) by employees of the Pro-Rectory for People Management (ProGPe) at UFSCar during the implementation process at the unit, in the period of June from 2018 to July 2020. The research strategy followed the precepts of the qualitative method, outlined as a single case study and the data collection was based on participant observation, documentary research, bibliographic research and application of questionnaires with users of the system. It was identified in this study that the innovative action of implantation of the SEI can be considered an organizational innovation in a broad sense and specifically a process innovation in the public sector, in which it generated significant changes in the support related to information technology in comparison to the existing procedures previously. The application of the questionnaires in two groups of ProGPe, management servers and servers with no leadership, management or advisory duties, revealed a high degree of satisfaction in the infrastructure offered (computer and internet) during the implementation process and other benefits generated by the replacement of the process on paper for electronic media, such as increased productivity, agility and reduced material expenses. However, in relation to the platform, the servers agreed that the SEI still needs improvements and enhancement of the tools to meet the existing demand at the unit.
