Projetos pentecostais: organizações religiosas como empreendimentos e pastores como empreendedores
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-06-01) Pelais, Luiz Gustavo Beijo; Donadone, Julio César; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7643906508178259; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4911692934227704
The relationship between religion and economics is a classic issue for the Social Sciences, however it has been relegated to the background in recent times, whether by adherents of the idea that religions have a secondary importance in the social fabric, or by the irreversible separation of economics in relation to other social sciences. Inserting itself in this tradition of studies, this dissertation intends to contribute to the understanding of contemporary Pentecostalism as it is loaded with an ethics that is very much in line with the idea of the self made man. This ideology emerges as a response to recent changes in capitalism and in the labor market. A central subject of this process in Pentecostalism, in addition to all adherents, is the figure of the pastor, who, in our understanding, finds in the religious organization an opportunity to make a career, undertaking, "opening his own church", as recommended by the entrepreneurial “spirit”. Thus, for the development of the present work, a bibliographic research was carried out, reaching theoretical saturation in order to contemplate the background questions raised, as well as resorting to the use of secondary data for its corroboration. As a form of analysis, we critically frame the entrepreneurial ethos as a precarious response to an economicsocial condition that is also precariously emerging. Far from being a definitive reflection, we intend this to be the construction of a referential framework for future empirical analyses.

Due to the transversality of Computer Science and Engineering as an area of interdisciplinary research and to the adoption of the computer as a tool by the most diverse areas of knowledge, computer labs have become essential infrastructure for conducting various classes in educational institutions. However, just like any organization or company that has dozens or hundreds of machines, these institutions have huge problems managing their computer assets concerning maintaining, upgrading, and inventorying these systems. This project aims to contribute to solving these problems by creating a solution for computer labs that encompasses user authentication, transparent system virtualization (by passing through devices to the virtual machine), remote system management and disk image distribution using BitTorrent (to fully take advantage of the bandwidth provided by the network infrastructure). The proposed solution was installed in the computerized classrooms maintained by the Secretaria Geral de Informática at UFSCar. The proposed objectives of implementing user authentication, systems virtualization, remote management and image distribution have been achieved. It is expected that this solution will also be adopted by other universities, and that the knowledge generated by this work can be applied to the management of large machinery parks in other contexts and other areas of the industry.

The aim of this paper is to present a literature review with a qualitative focus on music and chemistry teaching, published in the journals: Química Nova na Escola (QNEsc), REDEQUIM - Revista Debates em Ensino de Química and Educación Química en Punto de Vista. Although the few publications related to the subject, works with a theoretical approach were found, works with the first years of basic education, high school and undergraduate students. It was possible to analyze the importance that music has in the formation of children and adolescents as critical citizens and observers. We could observe that lecture classes are not the only possible means of learning. The work allows us to perceive the possibilities that the teacher has at hand when he makes proper use of this very important teaching tool.

Waste management in Brazil was marked by Law 12,305/2010, the National Waste Policy (NWP). Since then, timid advances have been achieved, and it is necessary to bring innovative interdisciplinary perspectives to the discussion. Thus, we sought to understand the waste management governance in the country in the period 1991-2020, as well as its relationship with the implementation of this policy, analyzing the articulation of the actors involved. Using the process tracing method, results point to the low horizontal and vertical articulation of the official interest group, impacting on decentralization, definition of responsibilities and local implementation. At the national level, it was observed that the Ministry of the Environment (ME), the current Ministry of Regional Development and the National Health Foundation understand the sector from different perspectives, shaping the tripartite optics that represents a challenge for integrated action. At the state level, the lack of articulation led to the State Public Ministries being protagonists, strengthening local and regional implementation of the NWP. The collective interest group had a greater performance at the end of the 1990s through the National Forum Waste & Citizenship, in addition to the performance of the National Movement of Waste Pickers of Recyclable Materials, which had space for articulation with the federal government (2003-2015), favoring the solid waste agenda and ensuring the inclusion of the category in the NWP. The business interest group is characterized by the overlapping of economic interests, as well as by the technical view of the sector. The influence of this group resulted in indirect accountability of the private sector, weakening the NWP. It is concluded that the lack of a formalized governance arrangement for waste management impacts on: (i) the lack of responsibilities definition for the different actors; (ii) the burden on municipalities to implement the PNRS; (iii) the low capacity of the ME to coordinate the policy; and (iv) the instability of this policy in the face of changes in the national and international context. In this scenario, even though the formalization of a governance arrangement is essential, the current context is not favorable to articulation, decentralization, participation, integrated management and a systemic view, representing risks of stagnation and setbacks for the NWP.
