listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Síntese da SBA-15 e [Al]-SBA-15 com diferentes ácidos: efeito nas propriedades texturais e estruturais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-09-27) Iga, Gustavo Duran; Marques, Clelia Mara de Paula; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0451284088402660; Gallo, Jean Marcel Ribeiro; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3485408327490746; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1364598483229459The development of new heterogeneous catalysts is of fundamental importance to expand their applicability and enable a sustainable future. For this, varying synthesis parameters of those catalysts it is a fundamental study that can provide a better understanding and control of structures. In this scenario, after the great discovery of mesoporous silicas of the M41S family, the SBA-15 molecular sieve emerged, which presented several structural advantages over the predecessor materials. Only few studies do the variation of the acid source in this synthesis, and this introduces other species of counterion into the reaction medium, thus this could generate interesting’s structural properties. The interaction of anions with amphiphilic molecules are given by the Hofmeister tendency of the anions. Therefore, the present work aims to investigate the effect of the counterion from the textural and structural properties of SBA-15 materials. The results showed that the conjugated base from the acid source affects the structural properties in diverse ways. In general, it was noted that the greatest structural effect promoted by salting-in anion acids (NO3-, Br-) were the most compact structures, and salting-out anions (HSO4- and Cl-) promoted larger pores and better ordered materials, possibly due to the effect of the counterion on the micelles according to the Hofmeister series, following the ability of each anion to hydrate. It was observed that the synthesis with HNO3 has a greater potential for functionalization and that with HBr may have higher hydrothermal resistance, enabling more specific applications to these mesoporous silicas. The counterion effect on the synthesis of [Al]-SBA-15 were also investigated, and an efficient new synthesis methodology was developed. The materials demonstrated distinctions only by structural and textural properties. In this sense, as the catalytic activity and the preliminary results of acidity did not show great differences between the materials, the synthesis of SBA-15 and [Al]-SBA-15 can be reformulated for the use of H2SO4, a cheaper acid that has advantages over the standard synthesis with HCl, which presented residual chloride in the structure of pure SBA-15.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Análise da percepção do público sobre conteúdos de divulgação científica em Ciências Biológicas veiculados em diferentes plataformas midiáticas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-09-27) Santos, André Luiz Tirollo dos; Galetti Júnior, Pedro Manoel; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7398754661670478; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1106097884682316This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of different media strategies used in the dissemination of scientific works produced by Brazilian researchers, determining whether these are being effective in transmitting the knowledge generated by the authors of the works in a faithful and instigating way. For this, four scientific dissemination contents in biological sciences were selected, written and published by Facebook and Instagram pages that were not officially related to any research institution, that were not part of large media conglomerates and that had a significant number of followers. Then, a questionnaire was applied to the public participating in the research to assess their perception of the different scientific dissemination materials in question. Finally, the answers provided by the public were forwarded to the authors of the published academic papers so that they could assess whether the information about their work – such as the methodology used, the results obtained and the conclusion of the study – were faithfully transmitted by the media. The data collected through this study showed that the volunteer public had difficulties in answering which methodologies were used in each of the studies published by the scientific dissemination contents addressed. Furthermore, it was evident that a large part of the public did not know how to precisely differ the results of a study and its conclusions.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Simulação de uma coluna de destilação para produção de etanol hidratado e análise de perdas na vinhaça e pureza do etanol produzido(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-09-27) Generoso, Bárbara Raissa; Queiroz, João Paulo Silva; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7316247674511327; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1393695133938036The industrial distillation process is complex and since the adoption of ethanol as a fuel, replacing gasoline, it has become a strategic process for the country. Wines produced from fermentation have a concentration of 6.4 to 9.7% w/w of ethanol and commercial hydrous bioethanol must have a concentration of 92.6 to 93.8% w/w. Ethanol losses in vinasse and phlegmasse are important parameters during the operation of a distillery, as they determine the efficiency of the distillation process. Chemical process simulation software’s play an important role in the development of new processes and in the analysis of already consolidated processes, enabling testing hypotheses and comparisons with the reality of a plant in a practical, economically viable and assertive way. In the present work, the simulation software Aspen Plus® (Advanced System for Process Engineering), commercialized by Aspen Tech, was used. The work was intended to simulate a real distillation column to obtain hydrous bioethanol, considering a constant Murphree stage efficiency scenario associated with a 0.027% ethanol loss in the vinasse stream and a produced hydrous bioethanol content of 92.7% w/w. The consumption of steam obtained was 2.88 kg/L ethanol, it was observed that drops in steam pressure result in loss in vinasse and impact the purity of the ethanol obtained. The column reflux ratio determines the purity of the ethanol obtained and the optimal ratio is between 2.7 and 4.2. Carolina escribe sus experiencias de vida reinterpretando su pasado y transformándolo en experiencias para la nación.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Alfabetização e letramento digital na formação docente para os anos iniciais do ensino fundamental(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-09-27) Landin, Rita de Cassia de Souza; Monteiro, Maria Iolanda; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4189205834370563; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9819875536500712In the midst of digital information and communication technologies, it is not enough for the teacher to know how to use these technologies on a daily basis. The society of the technological age brings the need for teaching knowledge about digital information and communication technologies in order to pedagogically incorporate them into educational practices. In this doctoral research entitled 'Literacy and digital literacy in teacher education for the early years of elementary school', we aim to analyze how literacy and digital literacy in teachers was incorporated into initial teacher education courses for the early years of elementary school, specifically of the Licentiate Degree courses in Pedagogy, from Resolution CNE/CP nº 1 of February 18, 2002, the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Graduate Course in Pedagogy of 2006, Resolution nº 2 of July 1, 2015. For this purpose, we investigated the training proposals of fifteen higher education institutions in Brazil, with grade 5 in ENADE/2017 and that made their Political Course Projects available online or for download in PDF. From the reading of these documents, and specifically the syllabuses of disciplines that address TDICs, we analyze the nature of such disciplines and how they address disciplinary and professional knowledge about TDICs and the pedagogical area, as well as the concepts of technology and literacy and teaching digital literacy that subsidize the years of initial training. In the fifteen institutions analyzed, we found thirty-four subjects that propose the study of TIDCs, and in more than 70% of the HEIs these subjects are mandatory, the prevailing technology concept is that of information and communication technology, and there is the proposal training from the perspective of literacy and teacher digital literacy. However, despite these data, which we analyzed as positive, we observed the absence of curricular integration between disciplinary knowledge about TDICs and disciplinary knowledge in areas related to pedagogical knowledge, specifically those focused on the early years of elementary school. Our main theoretical contributions in the area of technology and teacher education were Vani Moreira Kenski, Maria Luiza Belloni, Monica Fantin and Pier Cesare Rivoltella; in teacher education Bernadete Angelina Gatti, Elba Siqueira de Sá Barreto and Marli Eliza Dalmazo de Afonso André, as well as training documents from the Ministry of Education, and in literacy and digital literacy Monica Fantin and Pier Cesare Rivoltella, Monica Fantin and Gilka Elvira Ponzi Girardello , Carolyn Wilson, Alton Grizzle, Ramon Tuazon, Kwame Akyempong and Chi-Kim Cheung and Marisa Narciso Sampaio and Lígia Silva Leite.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Fight Club: uma leitura política do capitalismo tardio na obra de Chuck Palahniuk(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-09-27) Vicentim, Fabiana; Ferreira, Carla Alexandra; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5522506928191940; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7391874808659511The overall purpose of this dissertation is a political literary interpretation of the work Fight Club, that is, the narrative as a “symbolic social act”, and this perspective justifies the choice of cultural critic Fredric Jameson, as he proposes a dialectical reading that contemplates the social panorama, in addition to having a broad study on post-modernity and its concepts that are relevant to our study such as schizophrenia, consumerism, pastiche, fading of affection, among others.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Triagem e diagnóstico de TEA: perspectivas de médicos atuantes em municípios paulistas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-09-27) Bianchi, Bruna; Aiello, Ana Lúcia Rossito; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7544189440874179; Gil, Maria Stella Coutinho de Alcântara; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1673770301699940; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6032273001381213Considering the advance of knowledge about Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the changes that have occurred in the characterization of people with autism according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Problems Health (CID) and the emergence of new diagnostic tools, questioned what procedures physicians specialized in pediatrics, neuropediatrics and/or neurology employ to perform better-informed diagnoses in the investigation of ASD. Therefore, this study aimed to: Identify the procedures used by pediatricians, neurologists and neuropediatricians to screen and diagnosis of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); Describe the training and experience of these professionals in carrying out diagnoses of children with autism/ASD; Identify the criteria that these doctors use for early diagnosis; and Identify the knowledge of professionals about ASD. The design was descriptive with a mixed approach. The participants were professionals graduated in the medical course, specialized in pediatrics, neurology or neuropediatrics who practice the profession in the interior of the state of São Paulo. The professionals were identified in the lists of specialties available for online consultation on the websites of health plans and a website of medical schools in Brazil, selecting those from the interior of São Paulo. With the lists in hand, the professionals were contacted via email or telephone. The questionnaire was applied online via Google Forms. The study had descriptive statistical analysis. Nine pediatricians participated in the research, one specialized in neurology and neuropediatrics. The results showed that for physicians, the characteristics of ASD are present in social communication, motor movements, the use of stereotyped or repetitive objects or speech, and, in some cases, persistence in social interaction. Most doctors do not work with a multidisciplinary team and those who claimed to work said they had the support of the Occupational Therapist and the Speech-Language Pathologist as the main team members. As for the resources, the most used manual and/or booklet were the ICD-10 and the DSM-V, which are the most updated. Besides these, they use the instruments: M-CHAT, CARS and the ADOS or ADOS-2. Regarding the procedure for making the diagnosis, the physicians informed that they consult other specialists, with the neuropediatrician being the most indicated, in addition to relying on the child's family help, tests, anamnesis, behavioral assessment. Six participants informed that according to their experiences, the diagnosis is being early and is completed by the child's 3 years and 11 months of age. It is concluded that physicians have up-to-date information on the characterization of ASD, know the procedures to be performed to make a diagnosis, and are doing it early.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O stress no trabalho do docente da Pós-Graduação(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-09-27) Díaz Dextre, Katia Miluska; Silva, Eduardo Pinto e; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3492708361349827; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3161253775430270The general objetive was to investigate psychodynamics of stress and possible implications for the health and subjetivity of professors in a Graduate Program at renowned public university. We started the hypothesis and the existence of professors with stress and how this condition could lead to psychological suffering and health problems. The specific objetives were: Identifying existence of stress or the absence of stress, and in which phases (alarm, resistance, near, exhaustion and exhaustion); identifying existence of positive indices of common mental disorders or the absence of common mental disorders; characterizing the daily work, the existence of pressures, conflicts related to the demands of the management model and work evaluation; raise data indicative of the intensification of professor work. Also, Questionnaire and Semi-structured Interviews were used as methodological instruments. The Questionnaire was applied to 24 professors and it includes the Stress Symptoms Inventory (ISSL), the Self Report Questionnaire (SRQ-20) and questions about work, health and family life. The Semi-structured interviews were carried out with 7 professors and dealt with the theme of stress at work. Stress was found in 33.33% of the sample. After, analyzing the questionnaire data, commented summaries of the interviews and analysis of Categories A (Intensified work) and B (Suffering, stress and illness) were presented. We conclude that stress on teachers is characterized by biopsychic wear related to intensified work and the institutional dynamics of the university.
