The present work approaches aspects related to multiple childhoods and baby's body language. It arose from the need to understand the different ways of being a baby and how babies use body language to communicate. To achieve this objective, a bibliographical research was carried out and the work was divided into three stages: the Memorial, the Methodology and the Theoretical Framework, which present contemporary conceptions about childhood, singularities of early childhood and the body language of babies from zero to two years old. The investigation found that the importance of movement for child development is theoretically recognized in the field of Education, however, in practice there are still some prohibitions of child movement, as well as a difficulty in recognizing and valuing its need. It was verified the importance of playing for the development of the babies' body language, their decision-making, expression of feelings, knowledge of themselves, others and the world. Furthermore, it was observed the enhancement of adequate spaces with possibilities of exploration and stimuli for babies that provide safe conditions to guarantee their development.

The main objective of this work is to discuss the privatization of water in Brazil, in view of the New Framework for Basic Sanitation, instituted in July 2020, by the President of the Republic Jair Messias Bolsonaro, without discussion and participation of Brazilian society. Therefore, a brief history of water and sanitation management in Brazil is presented, the search for its universalization for the population, and an overview of the situation of basic sanitation and supply distribution in conjunction with water legislation is presented, in addition to their future perspectives, taking examples for the purpose of comparing the approach taken by different countries, taking into account the interests of those involved and the results obtained and the consequences for these countries. For this purpose, an online bibliographic survey was chosen, in virtual databases, virtual libraries of newspapers, magazines and bulletins, repository of universities, governments, NGOs, associations, among others, on: the history of the relation between water consumption and perspectives, b) the development of basic sanitation in Brazil, c) use and management of privatized and re-statized water, in some countries around the world, the consequences for the poorest population by the policies taken and the management of water use in Brazil, owner of large hydrographic basins and the largest reservoir of drinking water in the world. The survey was carried out thinking in three stages a) tracing a history between water consumption in the 20th century and its projections, b) the history of sanitation and current sanitation panel in Brazil c) Water management around the world and its consequences. The reflection of the readings points to the water management process as a management that was and will be increasingly important for the viability and development of the population of any location with health and the key to economic development for any nation. Meeting the growing demand for its use, whether in agriculture, food production, public supply or public health. The great challenge faced by governments around the world and, in particular, for Brazil, since the country has a great lack of water and sanitary sewage coverage with public supply. What will say privatized?

This monograph is the result of a research with qualitative approach and bibliographic character, associated with a field study, which sought to understand how the school environment has influenced the corporeality and constructions gender of children, analyzing the conceptualization of the terms gender and corporeality and educational policies on the subject. It was verified that the school has influenced the construction of roles, of gender relations, and corporealities in order to preserve hegemonic ideals of what it is understood about what it is to be a man and what it is to be a woman, acting in the conditioning of children's bodies from an early age for them to behave the way it is expected in terms of certain social models, repressing and excluding those who do not fit the standards. It was also verified the importance of school in the construction of gender roles by the students and in their ways of expression through corporeity, having responsibility in the deconstruction of gender prejudices, inequalities and stereotypes.

Large-scale photovoltaic energy generation projects have a long payback time, which is based on macroeconomic indicators that varies over time, nevertheless, for economic feasibility analysis purposes, are considered static. Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) have been shown to be a useful tool for financial analysis and it is possible to find in the correlate literature successful applications for the estimation of stock prices and indices based on the conjunction of a combination of previous data. Based on these ANN applications, this paper proposes the use of multi-layer perceptron ANNs with feature selection for the estimation of a macroeconomic index used in the economic feasibility analysis of photovoltaic generation projects. Correlation-Based Feature Selection was used to select the most relevant attributes for the input of the multi-layer perceptron ANN with back propagation and this ANN was used in the estimation of the Extended National Consumer Price Index (IPCA) throughout of time so that it could be used in the analysis of economic feasibility. After data collection and training of the ANN, which presented a good performance regarding the prediction model and obtained a superior performance when the feature selection was not considered. However, the obtained errors, although small, greatly influence the economic feasibility analysis, especially for short and medium term planning horizons due to the relatively recent database used for development of this model.

The serious social and environmental problems arising from the intense urbanization of cities, listed as the main challenges for city managers in the 21st century, require the use of new tools for efficient urban management since conventional approaches to urban planning are inflexible to face these challenges. Within this context, City Information Modelling (CIM) becomes an important tool for urban planners to manage the city's infrastructure based on sound information and thus adapt to constant changes. However, the absence of a complete application of CIM and of an established concept has been observed in the literature. Thus, as a general objective, it was sought to examine and synthesize the information about the CIM present in the literature, and thus, to identify and enable the contributions of CIM for planning and urban decision-making in consolidated cities. To this end, it was used a systematic literature review and bibliometric analyses enabled the identification of the interoperability required for a CIM application; the computational tools that would support the implementation; its potentialities; and the application initiatives, as well as the research trends and existing gaps. With these results, it was possible to delimit maturity levels towards the CIM application, which provided the pertinent characteristics to each implementation level. To understand the national scenario of the use of technologies that assist urban management, a survey was conducted, applied to servers of the city hall of six Brazilian cities, and allied to documentary research were verified the implemented technologies, the results obtained, the motivations and the difficulties faced in the current implementations. Therefore, these results served as a basis for the proposition of guidelines for CIM implementation, which may guide technological and CIM implementations in the Brazilian context, in order to mitigate the potential barriers reported by the representatives of the cities. As contributions, it can be highlighted the presence of a conceptualization for the CIM, identification of several technological tools with great potential of use and suggestions for improvements to expand the predictive capacity of these tools when integrated into the CIM platform. The allocation of the case studies of the literature and of the Brazilian cities in the CIM maturity levels, provided important contributions for the development of goals and progression towards the establishment of the CIM, as well as, the demonstration of some model cities in more advanced levels of technology use, demonstrated how such use is feasible, and the benefits granted by these experiences were evidenced. Finally, the development of the CIM implementation guidelines, allowed us to propose solutions to mitigate the challenges reported by representatives of Brazilian cities and match the necessary conditions of the CIM. As a managerial contribution, the results can be used for cities to identify their implementation levels, and thus have sufficient repertoire to elaborate action plans for the application of the CIM.

In Brazil, there is a lack of theoretical basis to defend the use of the term Early Intervention, which still retains a practice based on rehabilitation actions. Internationally, the main goals of the interventions focus on promoting the active participation of families by strengthening them and building a support network. The practices developed by Dunst in the Family Centered Capacity Building Model are individualized with the purpose of promoting families' abilities to mobilize the resources needed for the competent care of their children. The ECTA Center is a program of the FPG Child Development Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, United States, a national technical assistance center focused on building the capacity of state and local systems to improve outcomes in developing high-quality early intervention and preschool special education service systems by increasing local implementation of evidence-based practices and improving outcomes for young children with disabilities and their families. As one of the materials produced by the ECTA Center and made available on its website is a set of checklists, which are checklists of evidence-based practices developed to guide professionals and families on the most effective ways to improve learning outcomes and promote the development of children under 5 who have or are at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. Therefore, the aim of this study is to translate from Spanish to Brazilian Portuguese a block of these checklists, referring to "family" and to analyze a pilot application of it in an early intervention setting in the municipality of São Carlos, São Paulo. Participants in this research were undergraduate students in occupational therapy working in an extension project with the theme of early intervention, and attending, under the supervision of the project coordinator, families of children between zero and five years of age with risk, retardation in neuropsychomotor development or disabilities, with demand for early intervention, in the city of São Carlos. The findings identified that professionals working in the area of Early Intervention, in general, apply the approach of family-centered practices in decision-making that encompasses opinions, suggestions, demands, customs and complaints from the family to complete an intervention plan. It is concluded that family-centered practices are of fundamental importance for the child's development and it is necessary that these are implemented and applied by all professionals in the area to achieve better results. For this use to be effective, continued training of these professionals in Early Intervention and Family-Centered Practices is necessary. Therefore, it is also understood the power of joint partnerships of such professionals with families and with the entire network present in the child's life such as parents, teachers and other professionals such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists so that the implementation can be complement and become effective.

The presence of xenobiotic organic contaminants in water bodies, where arrive from releases of treated or untreated effluent, has raised concerns about impacts related to the richness and biodiversity of aquatic life and human health. Considering the possibility of the increasing presence, persistence, and pseudo-persistence of pesticide and drugs in the environment and possible deleterious effect resulting from it, the objective of this work was to develop and to validate a multi-residue method using QuEChERS and Liquid-Liquid Extraction (LLE), for determination of organochlorine compounds (Aldrin, heptachlor, heptachlor epoxide, endosulfan (α and β), endosulfan sulfate, 4,4'-DEE, dieldrim, endrin, 4,4'-DDD, 4,4'-DDT, endrin aldehyde, Methoxychlor and hexachlorocyclohexane (α-BHC, β-BHC, γ-BHC e δ-BHC)) in soil, sediment, and freshwater, with gas chromatography-tandem electron capture detector (GC/ECD) and Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) for drugs quantification (Carbamazepine, Atenolol, Propranolol, CBZ-DiOH, Caffeine, Naproxen, Ibuprofen, 2-Hydroxycarbamazepine, Estrone, 17-β-estradiol, 17-α-ethinylestradiol, Paracetamol, 2-Hydroxy-ibuprofen and Diclofenac) in freshwater using ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS), in the collected sample in the regions of Hydrographic Sub-Basin of Ribeirão do Feijão and Hydrographic Sub-Basin of Rio Quilombo, in São Carlos, SP. The proposed method for organochlorine compounds determination was valid for all matrices. For solid samples, the analyte recoveries (%Rec) were between 50% and 117%, with a coefficient of variation (%CV) below 19 and linear correlation coefficient (R2) greater than 0.98, for all analytes. The value of matrix effect (ME) was between -8.73% for α-BHC and 585.35% for endrin. The limit of detection (LOD) was 0.759 µg Kg-1 for 4,4’-DDD and 2.144 µg Kg-1 for endosulfan sulfate, and the limit of quantification (LOQ) was between 2.528 µg Kg-1 and 7.147 µg Kg-1 , for the same analytes. The %Rec was between 40% and 144% for the freshwater sample, with %CV below 24 for 16 analytes analyzed. All R2 was greater than 0.99. The LOD ranged from 1.641 ng L-1 for α-BHC to 4.433 ng L-1 for endosulfan sulfate, while the LOQ was 5.473 ng L-1 and 14.779 ng L-1 for the same analytes. The ME was -13.73% for α-BHC and 393.43% for endrin. Regarding the determination of drugs in freshwater, the %Rec ranges from 93% to 120%, with %CV below ten and R2 greater than 0.98 for all analytes. The values of LOD ranged from 2.885 ng L-1 for ibuprofen to 5.293 ng L-1 for 17-β-estradiol, while the values of LOQ ranged from 9.618 ng L-1 to 17.642 ng L-1, for the same analytes. Regarding collected samples, the analysis performed to the determination of organochlorine compounds showed results below LOD. This was observed for the three matrices in all collect performed. In the analysis for drugs determination, the presence of ten analytes was observed. The caffeine was in all analyzed samples, with concentrations 105.2, 54.9, 52.3, and 184.4 ng L-1. The other analytes determined were atenolol (52.8, 28.3 and 17.2 ng L-1), carbamazepine (22.8, 17.6 and 36.2 ng L-1), propranolol (28.5, 63.9 and 78.4 ng L-1), ibuprofen (53.9 and 10.9 ng L-1), diclofenac (13.4, 42.7 and 22.0 ng L-1). This work contributes to the elaboration of an important scenario of water quality of surface water source of the city São Carlos, which can support public policies for the preservation of the quality of the environment and human health through the development of public policies that inhibit economically predatory initiatives that are harmful to the environment.

For the school inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities, pedagogical practices and planning that aim at access to the regular curriculum and effective participation in the teaching and learning process stand out. Furthermore, it is essential that continuing education bring the pedagogical practices of specialized teachers into the discussions. In this sense, the study aimed to: (a) characterize the work routine and pedagogical practices of the specialized teacher in the context of Specialized Educational Assistance - AEE in the area of intellectual disability - DI; (b) to elaborate and develop a program of continuing education for teachers as a space for reflection on teacher practice and the Individualized Care Plan - PAI; (c) Evaluate the continuing education program carried out with specialized teachers. Under a qualitative approach, the present study is characterized as collaborative research. Five specialized teachers from the AEE from the São Paulo State Education Network who worked with students with ID and the Coordinating Professor of the Pedagogical Nucleus - PCNP participated in the study. The study involved a preliminary stage and four intervention stages, namely: Preliminary stage: Conducting ethical aspects; 1: Characterization of face-to-face and non-face-to-face pedagogical practices; 2: Planning of continuing education; 3: Implementation of continuing education 4: Evaluation of continuing education. The data collection site was divided into two stages. The first stage took place on the premises of the schools and rooms where the AEE was performed and the second stage was carried out online using Google Meet and Classroom. The instruments used were: Semi-structured interview script for the Special Education PCNP; Observation itinerary; Semi-structured interview script for Special Education teachers; Questionnaire to characterize the participants; Continuing education proposal script; Characterization form of non-presential teaching practices; PAI Form and Continuing Education Assessment Form. The data collected were qualitative and analyzed through the elaboration of categories. As a result, the face-to-face practices of the teachers indicated difficulties in the elaboration of activities, lack of support and resources. In terms of non-face-to-face practices, challenges were pointed out, such as: difficulty with technology and low feedback on school tasks, but there was a greater approximation with the teachers of the common room. Planning was identified as an important instrument for the organization of pedagogical practices, and should be in line with the curriculum and students' interests. Continuing education is assessed as essential for the development of pedagogical practices for school inclusion of students with ID. As main considerations, we present the relevance of the proposal for continuing education that brings reflections experienced in school contexts and the importance of drawing up plans for the promulgation of pedagogical practices that provide curricular access for students with ID. In this way, it is essential to invest in training aimed at specialized teachers and the need for a new look at the configuration of the AEE. Finally, it is suggested that the data support further studies and the possibilities of expansion to other deficiencies on the subject.

The changes in Brazilian legislation, which took place after the 2003-2016 cycle, decreed the end of the neodevelopmentalist period, whose societal concern gives way to the neoliberal proposal, marked by a fiscal austerity policy, began to gain strength, with the central concern being the market and corporate profits and generate a primary surplus, destined to pay interest and services on the public debt. Changes in the guidelines of the Brazilian public administration were implemented with Constitutional Amendment 95/2016, the Labor Reform (Law 13,467/2019) and Constitutional Amendment 103/2019, which deals with social security reform, substantially transform the world of work, impacting on labor relations, in the living and working conditions of the Brazilian population. The present work proposes to analyze the impacts of the labor and social security reforms on work, unemployment and retirement of workers, mainly adults, prioritizing the analysis of population indicators from 45 to 60 years of age. This is a study of a social nature, with a quali-quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out through document analysis and survey of indicators in public databases with sociodemographic information. Data analysis is guided by the qualitative and statistical approach described. The ethical aspects of this investigation are guided by Resolution No. 510/2016. The results show great impacts on the investigated indicators, mainly in relation to unemployment, informal work and discouragement.

The tiling technique consists of filling the plane with geometric figures without overlapping or empty spaces. Although this technique is quite old, the science is recent and contains aspects that have not yet been developed (SALLUM, 2007). From this perspective, the purpose of this work is to carry out theoretical studies on the conceptualization and classification of regular and semi-regular tilings on a plane. As a result, it was possible to verify that there are eleven well-behaved floor tiles, three of which are regular and eight are semi-regular.

In the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an increase in remote interaction and a virtual cultural production became an option for Brazilians to experience leisure time, in a safe way, during social isolation. One of these productions were the concerts performed by Brazilian artists and broadcasted on widely accessible virtual platforms, the so-called online concerts. Some of these concerts, started having the participation of interpreters of the Brazilian sign language (Libras) to envolve deaf people in order to expand the audience. We question the challenges involved in the interpretation of Libras in online concerts, considering this emerging scenario of performance for these professionals. Therefore, the aim of this study is to understand the challenges involved in interpreting from Portuguese to Libras in online concerts. The specific goals are to describe how interpreters are hired, examine the debate of values around working in this context and identify the realities of interpretation in online concerts. This study is based on the dialogic perspective of language constructed by the Bakhtin Circle, in Ergology, a multidisciplinary approach that seeks to understand the work activity as a human activity, and in the Studies of Translation and Interpretation of Sign Language, as an emerging area whose core is the intermodality of languages involved in translation and interpretive processes. Two subjects were interviewed through semi-structured interviews conducted remotely through the Google Meet platform. From the articulation of vertical and horizontal analyzes of the concrete statements obtained in the interview, we realized that specific training in the artistic-cultural area is extremely important, as well as the development of competence and negotiating knowledge to establish margins for quality performance, such as prior access to the repertoire and hiring a team of trained interpreters. In addition, the importance of teamwork and the process of translating the lyrics so that the interpreter can have the possibility of co-creation at the time of performance is also highlighted.

“Mulheres periféricas” e o neoliberalismo; percepção da desigualdade de gênero no município de São Carlos”
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-11-24) Rosado, Raisa; Sanchez, Fábio José Bechara; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6423443695464907; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0358775918908543; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8594-462X
In the Brazilian scenario, the advance of neoliberalism – arising from the crisis of production and social reproduction, which began in 2008 – has profound impacts on groups that are already subordinated, in this case, young university and peripheral women. This research sought to understand how young university women living on the outskirts of the city of São Carlos in the Santa Felícia neighborhoods; CDHU/Vila Faria and Cidade Aracy experience and signify gender inequality in this context, in which way lived experiences transform and/or reproduce perceptions about gender inequality. The general objective is supported by the hypothesis that there is a contradiction established and widened by the crisis: on the one hand the reinforcement of the traditional role of women and consequently gentrified stereotypes, on the other, the fissures in the social order caused by the advancement of the feminist struggle. Our specific objectives were to) study the effects of neoliberalism on gender relations; ii) understand the experiences of peripheral women in relation to gender based on their life stories; iii) understand what their experiences mean and which episodes are notable for the subjects; iv) understand the dialogue between gender perception and national political context, analyzing the SARS-COV-2 pandemic. We opted for a qualitative approach using life history as a data collection technique, due to its ability to capture in-depth perceptions and meanings. Due to the SARS-COV-2 pandemic, the field was blocked and the interview sessions took place virtually, being organized by thematic axes (trajectory and life experience; work, study and professional life; perceptions about politics and gender; perception about the specificities of the neighborhood in which you live; relationship with the pandemic). Within the results obtained, we highlight: i) the intense precariousness of services essential to life that occurs in the scenario of economic crisis and neoliberal advance and the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the financial pressure to self-sustain and/or support the family caused intense mental illness; ii) the experience of young university women living on the outskirts is tensioned between access to feminist debates and sometimes political organization and the absence, at the moment, of women's organizations in the peripheral neighborhoods of the city; iii) generational conflicts occur between young and older women within families about how gender inequality is perceived, whether in the private or social sphere; iv) the logic of the “self-entrepreneur” is immersed in the experience of these women, in the sense of a logic of survival in the face of the economic crisis and neoliberal advance.

The use of psychoactive drugs is recurrent and universal, but it was only in the 20th century that the State began to systematically intervene in the drug issue, through the medical and moral authorities of society. However, there are communities that make the sacramental use of entheogens and, in this world, knowledge and practices circulate, as well as pedagogical and therapeutic processes. The Santo Daime is a religious doctrine of spiritual works set to music that makes the sacramental use of an entheogenic drink known as Ayahuasca or Daime. However, recent studies have addressed the therapeutic effectiveness of Ayahuasca as an auxiliary tool in the treatment of various forms of addiction and other illnesses. Thus, the research field was delineated, which seeks to understand how the knowledge and practices of Santo Daime tension the discourse on drugs. The monograph is mainly a case study of a religious and philanthropic institution, the Santa Casa de Nossa Senhora, a Santo Daime church located in the municipality of Franca, which offers a specific treatment for the issue of substance abuse. This study has a historical dimension, a brief review of the history of Ayahuasca and Santo Daime; an ethnobiographical dimension, in which we investigate life trajectories; and, finally, a social and analytical dimension, in which we approach treatment experiences, giving light to the research problem that seeks to be highlighted. Thus, it was possible to examine the therapeutic effectiveness of the ritualistic use of Santo Daime in the treatment of addiction and contribute to the course of anthropological practice in the study of psychoactive drugs.
